The Bold and The Beautiful's Shocking Twist! Ashlyn Pearce Tweets: "Aly Forrester Was A Role I Feel So Blessed To Have Been Able To Play."

On Thursday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, viewers were in for a surprise storyline twist! SPOILER ALERT: If you have not seen the airshow as of yet, don’t read any further.
As the show picked up steam from Wednesday’s episode, Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) was out to hurt or kill Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on the side of the road … in the dark … at night! Armed at first with a crowbar, and then later with a rock, an unhinged Aly wants to put a stop to Steffy’s slutty ways (as she views it) and restore all that is good with the Forrester family name. Aly also wants to avenge her mother’s death, because Steffy’s mom Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was the responsible party who ran Darla (Schae Harrison) down one night while intoxicated!
Meanwhile, the concerned Liam (Scott Clifton), Wyatt (Darin Brooks), Maya (Karla Mosley) and Rick (Jacob Young) are back at the Forrester mansion after the California Freedom fashion show, and after finding out about the creepy photos of Aly’s with features some disturbing drawings on Steffy’s. Enter Thorne (Winsor Harmon), father to Aly, who has come back to Los Angeles to take his whacked-out daughter back to Paris with him, only there is a problem!
Back at the side of the road as Aly escalates her revenge on Steffy, Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) is driving by in a car trying to find the two young women. However, she comes upon the scene shortly after Aly’s head hits a rock in a confrontation with Steffy. Next thing you know, Aly is not breathing! Steffy throws the crowbar that could now look to be a murder weapon that was in her hand when Aly fell. The paramedics are called, but they can’t revive Aly, and they pronounce her dead.
Ashlyn Pearce yesterday took to her Twitter account after the outpouring of fan support for her performances, and confirmed she has exited the series, via this message to her followers: “#BoldandBeautiful fans. Thank you all for the love & support. Aly Forrester was a role I feel so blessed to have been able to play. #TeamAly”
So, were you surprised that B&B killed-off Aly? Were you hoping Ashlyn Pearce would remain on the show? What do you think how it opens up storyline possibilities now that mother and daughter are the responsible parties that killed Darla and Aly? Do you think this will further pit Ivy vs. Steffy for Liam’s heart? Share your thoughts below! But before you do, watch this clip of Ivy and Steffy in a panicked over a non-breathing Aly!
B&B should be worried. They’re slacking. DAYS passed them up in the 18-34 demo.
Days is so far into the bottom they will need an act of God to recover. As a show lifetime watcher I can tell you DOOL is on its way out. B&B remains firmly in 2nd place regardless of the most recent ratings
Steffy is at fault! She picked up the tire iron and hit Ally on the head knocked her out and killed her. Steffy is unstable for killing her cousin! Even when you defend yourself you don’t kill anyone.
i am DONE with B&B……I was hoping this was a dream or better yet a nightmare that Ally went “full out crazy” ….where has her boyfriend Oliver been? I have been on the cusp of continuing watching this show. Why bring heartbreak to Thorne’s character over and over again? Steffy haters , back off. She was viciously attacked and almost killed by Sweet Ally…..now they are going to put Steffy through the wringer. I’m all for a good storyline….this has finally made me delete the recording off my DVR….
I too am done with B&B. I stuck it out for a long time. The story lines are moving away from the core players and killing off Thorne’s daughter is just another way to move the show away from the core. I just deleted it from my DVR.
B&B MUST be out of story line as all they have done of late is repeat the same story line in the offspring of the main characters–Forrester & Logan families. Those of us who have watched it over the years are really exhausted with the same dumb stuff over and over (e.g. Ridge and Caroline- #1 and #2), Brooke goes through all the Forrester men, but then Dr. Taylor Forrester, the righteous, ends up going through all the Forrester men too; Wyatt and Liam always fighting after the same girl, let’s not forget the GAZILLION times they jerked us with the Hope/Liam Saga and how they could NEVER get married or stay married, and uh let’s see, Steffy loses Liam’s baby, Hope loses Liam’s baby,….yada, yada, yada).
B&B has horrendous story lines that never find resolve. What was the purpose of bringing Ally’s character back ONLY to kill her off for NO reason? What was the purpose of the Hope/Liam perpetual cat and mouse game, ONLY to have them NEVER get together and have Hope leave the show? What is the purpose of transforming Maya from a street urchin into a leading lady ONLY to have her (the pretties woman on the show) turn transgender??? B&B, I’m deleting you also from my DVR. I am sooooo DONE!
Play on
I would LOVE to write for B & B. I would write so many twist and turns the fans will get dizzy… What keeps a show of any kind is something always happening and not drag it out! An hour long show would allow for more storylines and soaps have always been an hour long. Lets get this soap back on track and I bet there are a lot of fans that have great story lines if there was a place on the page for new ideas. Just a thought…
Exactly… could not agree with you more. An hour would be Great.
Should have kept alys character and used her to sabotage Steffy at every turn.
Keeping the vendetta going could have been interesting. Killing off her character was such a waste of good potential story lines. Steffy needs to go to jail for lying to the Police about what happened. It was self defense until she lied but thats Steffy… lies and manipulates as always. Someone needs to teach her a lesson. Hoping B&B will provide the goods because Ivys lame attempt at blackmail failed.
I’m sorry they killed off Aly. I feel like there was lots more story to tell with her. Plus, now, Darla and Thorne’s daughter is gone.
I didn’t like the actress at first, buy she grew on me.
She did a great job.. but not happy with her being killed off. Thorne has been thru too much loss, and now to lose his daughter too? I can only hope it is a dream.. #Fail JMO
I am hoping it is a bad dream too but if it is not then I hope Thorne learns the truth and puts Steffy in jail. If she is in jail then she could lose control over the 25% share in the Company (Forrester Creations) which opens the door to some exciting possibilities… Maybe Thorne could get control over these shares and unite with other shareholders to take over FC from Ridge. Looks like Team Spencer will have their own Fashion House and compete with FC. I hope they bring Hopes character back recharged and looking for revenge over the loss of her unborn child and Alys death.
Such a stupid move on the writer’s part. Ally was one of the few, true Forresters unlike Steffy who is a Marone!!!! Brad Bell needs to retire.
Here, here.. Brad Bell needs to hang it up.. This crap with Liam/Steffy/Ivy storyline. There again, Liam was fine with Steffy, he was starting to get his life back on track after Hope going to Milan. Then, when things look like they are improving, here comes slutty Steffy wanting to get Liam back… Writers must have run out of story lines, I would dare to guess..
Yes, I am surprised. How horrible for Thorne to lose both his wife and his daughter. What is the point?
How about Aly having had a baby when she young maybe in a hospital. Bamm! More Family or maybe twins. I have so many ideas
this was an amazing twist totally didn’t see it coming & I’m sad about aly not being on anymore because ashlyn is an amazing actress but at the same time this will totally drive storyline and I understand why they decided on aly. This is going to effect every character on the show. we are going to get to see lots of emotion from every character and I really commend them for keeping it under wraps for as long as they did with out letting it get out.
They Should have let Ally kill Steffy. Sorry but ugh Steffy! I hope at least that Ivy will turn that video over to police and get steffy good!
Get Steffy good for what? It was clearly self defense and Aly got exactly what she deserved. It was kill or be killed. Or are you just another pathetic Logan-lover out to bash any and everything connected to Taylor?
Get Steffy for covering up her part in Ally’s death, that’s what. Ally had a rock in her hands for God’s sake…a rock. And why didn’t Steffy run or get back in her car instead of just stand there? No matter. Ivy has the video. Steffy will be prosecuted for obstruction of justice now even if it is deemed self defense. She’s just like her mother – no accountability. As long as she gets what she wants it’s all fair in love and war. Ugh. Go back to Paris and take those lips with you, Steffy. lol
It’s 2020, & I hope in the years since posting this you’ve grown to understand that a rock can absolutely be a murder weapon.
Aly had a grudge board. She wanted Steffy dead. Put yourself in Steffy’s shoes & think about you being on the ground, fighting for your life.
It made for a lightning quick moment of hot story but…
I liked Aly a lot. Ms. Pearce and her character were breaths of fresh air in a stale insular world that has become B&B. Aly may have become unhinged and if that were allowed to go on, she could have become an ongoing snake in the grass for the family. And poor Thorne. The true Forrester son from the start gets more tragedy heaped upon him. Winsor Harmon and Ashlyn Pearce were good together. The show did us a disservice by not giving us more. Removing Aly only helps erase more B&B past, specifically the core family upon whom the show is based. I am disappointed and sad.
I am sick of balloon face
She is a repulsive person, totally fake and born with a silver spoon. She thinks she can do no wrong. On the side of the road, why didnot she just run away from Aly. There was nothing wrong with her legs. Why not run instead of swing a tire iron?
Are you actually blaming Steffy for DEFENDING herself?! Aly orchestrated the whole damn thing. Steffy was laying on the ground, completely defenseless against a raving psychopath out to kill. She had just seconds to react or Steffy would have been the one who was dead! Aly is the cause of her own death. Your arguments make no sense! I am so sick of you Taylor/Steffy bashers. You make me sick!
LOL. Get upset over soap operas much? Steffy lied to the police because she knows what she did. She’s a lot bigger than Ally and she knew Ally was mentally ill and has been ever since Taylor killed her mother…and.. LIED about it. Deja vu. Two peas in a pod.
I can see where this is going. Thorne will FINALLY go after and take back what is RIGHTFULLY his, Forrester Creations. He IS a Forrester. Ridge’s drunken ex and his wayward daughter took away his family. I think he will be exacting some payback finally. I can bet he makes sure that they aren’t welcome for Ali’s funeral either. This whole situation will blow the Forrester family (or what’s left of it) apart. People will be forced to choose sides. Can I also say that Steffy should NOT have been the one to tell Thorne about Ali. That was again another BAD decision on her part.
Absolutely ridiculous waste of a character.
Lets face it, the Forrester family is quietly being decimated in favor of the Spencers and Logans.
I had not seen yesterday’s episode. It always seems a waste to kill off main family characters, especially when they’re young. Aly could’ve just gone bonkers and then sent away for help. I don’t see a storyline purpose for this…we’ll have to see if a good reason comes out if this.
They did it to parallel Steffy’s life with Taylor’s life. They are both responsible for the death of Thorne’s family and lied about it. I hope Thorne dumps Taylor and Liam dumps Steffy. And I hope Ivy is with Wyatt and tells Liam to take a flying leap. He is the most ridiculously fickle guy on TV!
Well all I can say is those scenes had me rivet to the set– it has been a long time since a soap had me on the edge of me seat, wondering how this was going to end. And since it was kept under wraps, at least I had no inkling they were going to kill off Aly I was floored when she was pronounce dead. This is the old fashioned soap action at its best.
As for killing off Aly- in general I do not like them killing off their future, meaning eventually the younger Forresters will be the show, so killing off Thorn’s daughter seems counterproductive. But they made the character so crazy that they would of had to write the character off anyway- and killing off opens a whole new line of dramatic possibilities more than sending her away for help would have of produced. So I am torn, I think it was a short term shot in the arm for the show that will end up biting them in the butt, in the long term.
As for the actress, I said this before, but that girl has a promising future in horror flicks– just her with eyes alone she could send a chill down my spine– creepy — LOL
Mark my words, there will be a twist. Ally is not dead, she will be back in the future. No one stays dead in daytime.
I totally agree that Aly is not dead. These past episodes have all seemed so surreal. No oneis grieving, no crying… nothing. Plus we didn’t see the body. Here’s my theory: Aly was mistakenly presumed dead and woke up either in the ambulance or morgue. She has access to money so she bribed someone to fake her death. Currently she is sitting back watching this unfold and plotting her next move. Anyone who watches soaps knows: No body, No death.
Ally is dead. She would absolutely not put Thorne through a fake death. Not after he alreqdy lost his wife. The only one thing in the world Ally treasured most in the world than her mother’s memory and daily “talks” was her father. They never show the corpse in thr coffin on soap operas. That’s primetime.
The show was getting slow, someone needed to die….I didn’t care who.
Kittens, puppies and chocolate….was that to harsh? or are you going to censor that as well.
This was definitely a huge shock, one that no one saw coming, just like the reveal that Maya was born Myron and is transgender. B&B seems like the most willing soap to take risks and leaps of faith, to tell provocative and controversial stories, and to provide huge story twists. The way in which these scenes between Aly and Steffy were filmed was fantastic, and the end scene when Aly was pronounced dead was a stunner.
However, I’m not at all happy that Aly is dead. She is one of the only true Forrester heirs in the family, and is Thorne’s only child. Ashlyn Pearce started out a bit rocky, admittedly not one of my favourite characters, but she really grew as an actress and made the role of Aly very layered, interesting and important. It’s been way more interesting to watch Aly than it was Hope.
From a story standpoint, this will definitely have huge ramifications, and affect the whole canvas. I just don’t like that the show killed off one of its younger characters, because one day the young blood will be THE blood of the show. It’ll be interesting to see where the story goes from here, and I have a suspicion that Aly won’t stay dead after all. I don’t know how they’re going to pull it off, but I’m sure there are more twists coming.
I agree with you, I said on this post that Ally is not dead. Maybe Sheila Carter is Allys mom. That would be a huge twist lol. Both Sheila and Ally are cray cray. lmao. Bring back Sheila Carter, I miss her so much. Ally will be back mark my words.
Sara,
The only problem with Sheila Carter coming back is that Sheila finally bit the dust on Y&R a few years back when she was the doppleganger of Phyllis before Michelle Stafford (ex-Phyllis; Y&R, Nina; GH) eventually left Y&R. So, there’s no way that they can bring Sheila back.
Brad was busy recycling the story from several years ago that had Taylor hit Darla by accident as Darla was changing a flat for Taylor’s daughter Phoebe. Ally was sent by dead Darla’s vision to avenge Darla’s death by killing Steffy, Taylor’s other daughter and Phoebe’s twin. It was pure shock writing and I wish they hadn’t felt it necessary to kill the girl off, she was a good little actress.
Unbelievable Liam and Stephanie will never get together every time they get close the storyline takes a detour. Too bad they had to kill ally off though they should’ve just gotten her psychological help . Unfortunately yes Taylor had been drinking but she really wasn’t at fault Darla was clumsy and tripped and fell into the street anyone could have run over her and once again like Taylor, Stephanie will be blamed for killing ally when all she was doing was blocking a rock from hitting her head and trying to push her away she didn’t intend to kill her. Ally was going to smash Stephanie’s head with that huge rock but of course that part is not seen by Ivy the witness that hates her. I think I’m going to let the storyline go!! I may start looking at B & B again around Christmas maybe by then Stephanie will be out of jail and they will realize that it was an accident and she was defending herself I don’t have the patience for this kind of storyline . Hopefully by Christmas Thorne will be running Forrester creations he is a true forester I don’t like the new Ridge as much as I liked Ron moss in that role. He’s critical of Brooke and her morality but yet and still he dumps her at the alter after hurting her and chasing her and using her for years and then he takes up with her sister for a little while and then takes up with Caroline Spencer??? Ridiculous to me. I miss Brooke in a lead role!!
Self-defense or not, Steffy lied to,police about what happened and she is responsible for Ally’s death – even in self defense. But now she’s screwed herself by doing the same thing her mother did when she ran over Ally’s mother in the road while she was driving drunk…and lied. If either one of them could tell the truth they would be okay and no charges pressed. But because they’re not accountable for their actions unless it’s pretty and perfect they have to lie and fool, people for a while and then it all comes crashing down around them. You’d think they’d learn. But they won’t. Because they have no scruples. And Ally won’t come back from the dead because she does have scruples and wouldn’t put Thorne through a fake death. She’s was mentally ill because of Taylor and always only directed toward her ire toward Steffy and Taylor.
You have your opinion and I have mine 🙂
That’s what the Conversation section is for. 😀
Man I didn’t see that coming. I thought at least a Mental Institution was in her future, but “this”. I feel sorry for Thorne.
I am disappointed that they killed off the Aly Forrester character. It was not necessary. I’m sure they could have found some other storyline for her character other than death…and how boring is they way she died!!! I could have written the story, so predictable. Where’s the creativity? What about a disease or rape or something more current for her character. So boring. AND also stop making Liam so whishy washy with no backbone, it is getting old. He needs a wife and we need to start having some kids.. then let them divorce and have affairs with love triangles. I never got over they never let Liam and Hope be married ever so lame.!
I was shocked at Aly’s death. However, she was clearly trouble and troubled. Steffy did NOT murder Aly; Steffy was acting in self-defense. Aly was going to bash Steffy in the head with a rock. Ivy did not see the scene from the beginning and has made incorrect/erroneous assumptions based on what she did see. What drives me crazy is that the writers of the show expect the viewers to believe illogical, unbelievable, nonsensical writing. Wouldn’t the police notify Thorne of his daughter’s death–not Steffy? Oh well. I just want Steffy and Liam back together. Also, while I have your ear, could you please get Wyatt out of his Mr. Rogers’ shirt and vest.
True. Wyatt and the grandpa look have to go. Aly was annoying. Ivy annoys me now too. I hate the Hope-like characters. So, did Ivy forget what was in Aly’s closet. Lay was psycho just like Quinn. Lol….would not suprise me is she was alive though.
Steffy lied to police about what happened or has everyone forgotten that? If she’s not guilty of anything why throw away the tire iron and lie? It wasn’t murder but she is responsible for Ally’s death and now she’s going to go up for obstruction of justice and giving a false statement to law enforcement. Cute but stupid. And of course Ivy thinks the worst. She only saw one angle but she knows Steffy lied so what else would she think? Wyatt’s clothes are 100% preferable to Liam’s adolescent fickleness. Send him and Steffy both packing back to Paris.
Bad choices seem to be trending: GH lets Ron Carlivati go and B&B kills off Aly Forrester, the best part of the show.
It’s not a good week for the soaps.
Too bad it wasn’t steffy that fell n got rid of once it comes out that it was her fault then she can go n Liam is a butt cause he just 4got about ivy if hope @ was to come back he go to her dumb story line w them people
Liam is a stupid shit i dont like him or wyatt either that little headed bastard i dont any of them or steffy but steffy does remind me of that girl off of pretty in pink that hangs around with that blonde bitch but i loved jena hoemans character hope they shrivel up and fall off ok xD!!!
I agree depending on the day of the week Liam changes his mind and what’s with Wyatt always going after his brothers leftovers? I do love Steffy. I hope her & Liam will finally get the time together they have tried for in the past. Ivy should know better than to think Steffy would do this on purpose but if I remember correctly Steffy grabbed the tire iron and throw it in the river.
Agreed…why is Wyatt going after Liam leftovers. Are there not more than 3 girls in all of L.A.
I like Ivy she deserves better than Liam I am team wyatt. Ivy will not give the police the tape wyatt will convince her not to. steffy will have to deal with her guilt. Aly was unbalanced and needed help but this spins everything around.
I’m going to miss Aly and Ashlyn. I was shocked at the turn the storyline took which is awesome in this day & age of spoilers! So kudos for that! I would have liked to see Aly’s journey through the darkness and into the light. Color me disappointed. She was a unique character and a talented portrayed. Best of luck to Ashlyn and thanks for the memories.
I was hoping for a happily ever after for Aly and Oliver, but of course that never happens on soap operas. The writers should bring Hope back only to confuse Liam even more. As far as bringing Maya’s parents on the show I am less than impressed. I enjoyed B&B so much more when Maya was Maya, Liam was in love with Hope and Quinn was the crazy one.
I’m really surprised that a lot of you that have posted above didn’t see the writing on the wall with Aly. I knew with Aly going down a very dark path that Ms. Pearce’s time on the show was pretty much over. Did I foresee that Steffy would be the one to off Aly? No. I also knew that they weren’t going to kill off Steffy either because Jacqui Wood (Steffy) just signed a contract not too long ago to return to the show after being away for a couple of years. So, Steffy wasn’t going anywhere.
Just another thought too here, I think they decided to kill Aly off (pure speculation here, so don’t get your panties in a bunch folks) so that they could redo the show’s opening sequence, which needs a makeover big time. Kim Matula (ex-Hope) is still in the opening credits and Zach Conroy (Oliver) is rarely on the show anymore. So, they need to remove those two along with the actress who plays Donna. She’s rarely if ever on the show anymore. By taking those 4 out of the opening credits, they open up room for Maya’s sister Nicole, Zende, and Steffy. Again, just a thought.
Aly we hardly knew you. What a disappointment. i really liked Aly and Ms. Pearce’s performance. She killed it in these last few episodes. B&B can’t seem to find story for the whole cast. They can only focus on one or two major stories at a time. The heart of this show is the Romeo and Juliet concept which is fine but characters have family members, co-workers and friends and they all need something to do. Now Thorne is back and his child is dead. How long before they try to hook him up with big brother Ridge’s new love. Or maybe he’ll go after his llittle brother’s lady. The Forrester boys always take turns.
I was suprised that they decided to kill aly off but I know it is kind of cliché but soaps operas are known to bring characters back from dead so I wouldn’t if there is another twist in aly’s death storyline. It would be interesting to see how this twist of aly’s death will affect ratings in the coming weeks or months.
There will be another view of what really happened caught by another witness on video. Steffy is afraid right now. But when she explains , she will be backed up by other video.
Thank God that crazy bitch is FINALLY gone! Could never stand the actress or her character. I can’t understand why Steffie was so upset, you’d think she’d be glad to be rid of her. I know I would! It was a completely boring, stupid & a waste of time story line. If the writers can’t do better than that, it’s time to retire.
Totally agree. Never have I been so happy to see a character killed off. I’m sure Ashley is a lovely person but she cannot act. This show is starting to really go downhill. The Liam triangles are tired and boring. And the whole Maya storyline is totally unrealistic. For soaps that drag story lines out for years they sure wrapped up the acceptance of this situation quickly. I might have to bail on my guilty pleasure because it is no longer pleasurable.
I can’t stand Aly Cat! Glad they killed her off. Her mother’s face showing up in a circle was really stupid. I hated her story line. So BORING!! The actress is as homely as an old maid’s sin, & I don’t like ugly people on soaps!
Agreed!
While I as a little ambivalent about the Ally character, I don’t like how they killed her off. I’m fairly new to B&B, but it didn’t take long to be bored by the Liam/Hope/Steffy triangle. Feel bad for longer term viewers having had to put up with it umpteen million times. To me, Liam is so unappealing and spineless, and I’ve never liked calculating Steffy. Actually I thought Ally saw through her intentions fairly well. She just called her on it unlike unlike the rest of Forresters, etc. And then there’s Ivy…her character just seems out of place, neither here nor there, and I don’t care if she’s family.
Im happy that Ally is out she was crazy and didnt get that her mom died tragically. Frankly I think her role on this was not necessary good move!
I agree with you on that one crazy redheaded bitches these days no offence to the other redheads XD!
Im disgusted with Bradley Bell. He truly killed off a legacy character in order to whitewash months of bullying and narcissism by Rick and Maya. This is nothing more than prop up two unrepentant bullies at the expense of another. Of course Bell chose to take Thorne’s daughter. After trashing Thorne for years Bell decided to rob the character of his only child. However, Bell did succeed in making me deprogram the DVR so that I no longer have to see the greedy and the self involved. There is not a single character left on this program to care about. Eveyrone is entirely self centered and indifferent toward others. Eric was a shameful father to Thorne and now an indifferent grandfather to busy excusing his selfish son to even bother to care. Ridge was 100% indifferent toward his niece. Why watch when there is no one to root for? Add to that the worst are being propped to the nines and that is more than insulting. So good riddance Mr Bell you have not learned much from your father.
I am so angry that they killed off Aly, this character had great potential and this means yet less airtime for Thorne now, we’ll probably never see him again after this arc, yet we can be sure of triangles for Liam forever!
I honestly thought that this was either a dream or that Aly would get the help she needed. This is a very tragic way to end Aly’s story. I never saw it coming!!!
They didn’t have to kill her off , they could have put her in a hospital. The show could’ve still be suspencefull. Now that Ally is gone will Steffy start seeing Ally haunting her. I hope so.
Now we will see two (2) bubbles speaking from the dead: Aly and Darla. I am guessing they will find Thorne’s long lost daughter that he did not know he had. Boring. The best story line has been Maya/Myron which ended up having to be politically correct.
I felt the twist was backwards to reality of cleaning up the cruel mean people’s role. Ivy is such a honest up front person just as Ali. Why we can not follow real life’s humps to relate to the audience is beyond me. The sad things going on in our society today it’s a breath of fresh air to hear honesty and someone not afraid to state the truth. ( sorta like ) Donald Trump
If Ivy leaves I’m threw with B&B
Struggle to watch everyday because of Stephanie she’s ugly and a fake
I assume you mean Donald’s OWN version on truth and honesty when you say (sorta like)?
Well if Ivy is so “honest and upfront” then why is she holding that cell phone video hostage until she can use it to get something she wants/to get charges of murder on Steffy?
That’s not something an honest person would do. Ivy is out for herself and for revenge b/c her cousin got her ex (Liam). Nothing more.
All I can say is BOO!!!!!!
Now there can be two bobble head ghosts!!
I didn’t like any of them on the damn show it was like watching friday the 13th mixed with that other movie with jamie lee curtis i dont remember the but jamie was a bitch in that movie she tried to push her biological kids step mother off a cliff in a car and she fell off herself . I dont like b&b or y&r my mom watches it sometimes but the shows freak me out real bad im not watching it anymore i never did watch it much any way.
Ally never really served much purpose on show– other than recently she did play a good short term “crazy”
This is the truth, she was like a secondary character not a main one and Aly was being pushed into a corner w/how evil she was becoming. Once the character gets pushed that far in-there’s really nowhere else to take them, so they get axed, But Ashlyn Pearce is talented and will show up on primetime/movies somewhere,
Love Steffy & Liam saga, Ridge, Caroline, & Spencer (old Brad)…his character is refreshingly hilarious!!! Love the role he plays! Ff thru Rick, Maya, & sister saga..Taping is great so I can ff thru the riff Raff…
kill off the main talent, that’s how it works eh? Why wasn’t the mental issue followed up on, this girl is so talented and refreshing, I’m going to miss her!
I am soo disappointed that Ally was killed off. As much as she was crazy she was the only one who called things like they were. She was honest and I think a mental hospital for awhile would have been the best way to handle her.. I am very disappointed with Liam. Everything is about Steffy. All of a sudden she was his true love I thought it was Hope . Liam acts like Hope never existed. I never saw them get married and be happy. Liam then takes up with Ivy and Steffy comes along and Ivy just gets tossed aside. I am sick of Steffy. She is a manipulator and she should lose Liam forever. Although I no longer feel he is good enough for Ivy. The writing must get better on this show. I stopped watching for awhile when you had Hope marry Wyatt. You never gave the fans what they wanted. It took me awhile to come back to the show.
I don’t understand some of the reasonings behind letting go of such a good actress as Ashlyn !! Loved Aly’s role on the B&B … Big mistake on letting Ashlyn Pearce go !!! So now what B&B ..I personally think it was a Big Big ….Huge mistake !! What next ..will be writing Ivy out of the script as well …. Yes I almost have to say good bye to the B&B !!
Ashlyn Pearce is fantastic and has a bright future ahead of her. I never saw this end coming! However, I don’t really care because Aly was annoying and a nut job.
That said, i’m liking this show right now—after months of boredom, it picked up, whereas the other 3 soaps on are terrible at the moment, especially for summer storylines. But one thing I’m not liking is Liam. I’ve never cared for the spineless twat, though I could tolerate him with Hope and Ivy. I’m so sick of his waffling and he was totally classless in how he dumped Ivy today. And for what, Slutty Fauxrester!? Unbelievable!!! Ivy & Wyatt will be a better pair anyways, and Steffy will be carted off to prison when the video comes out. The only saving grace of this is that Liam will be alone, as he deserves, unless the writers bring back Hope for him.
I also hope that Eric, Thorne and Rick will team up to take the company back from Ridge. Ridge is a Marone and Thorne and Eric are the rightful heirs. So sick of Ridge and Caroline, so nasty and boring!! I hope Thomas takes back Caroline, which leads to Ridge falling apart, and the 3 REAL Forresters oust Ridge, who can take his unshaven, Batman-sounding self back to Paris!
I agree
LOL please Steffy is not going to any prison, Aly caused her own death because she was looney and didn’t seek the help she was beyond needing, She is dead cause of her own doing. Aly shouldn’t have came for Steffy trying to kill her 2 DIFFERENT WAYS and she’d probably still be alive.
I don’t understand how the storyline jump from Rick and Maya problem now this a death can’t they get it right. I’m at the point of putting the braked on B&B. Now how long will it drag out about Steffy hitting Aly with the crowbar?

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
