At Ken Corday launch party for his new book, The Days of our Lives: The True Story of One Family’s Dream and the Untold History of Days of our Lives in Beverly Hills last night, Salem favorite, Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe) revealed to On-Air On-Soaps a fantastic new online venture from one of daytime’s hottest young actresses.  Bjorlin will have her very own blog coming to NBC.com.

The DAYS star revealed, “I am exciting to launch it this summer on NBC.com.  It’s going to be my very own blog about fashion, health and beauty.   The health and the beauty part will be written by my guy, Brandon Beemer (Owen, B&B) secretly, and I will be covering the fashion.” (Laughs). I am excited to do it. I like talking and writing, and I think it will be a good venue and outlet to come to one central place.  I feel with all the social networking of twitter, facebook and myspace, you are so much more connected to the fans and I get a lot of the same questions which is really flattering, and they ask for instance: what kind of hair products so I use, and make-up and wardrobe questions and so, I feel like I answer these questions and I can’t wait to have one place to go on, and also divulge some of our DAYS set secrets! “

Nadia also discussed the turn her character of Chloe has taken lately, which has some fans up and arms! “Chloe seems a bit nutty. But a lot of it is out desperation, and it is rooted in reality, but of course, we play heightened circumstances. Eventually we will see there are all these consequences that Chloe is going to have to deal with, considering all the lies and mistakes are building up.  Chloe is not evil by any means, and not mean spirited, but she is just all her insecurities are being played on by Vivian. The issues she had a child by being given up by foster parents, and how she was bounced around at orphanages as child and its all coming into play now.”

Shouldn’t Days have asked Sweeney to have a blog, unless she has one already? Sweeney has the primetime credentials and Sami’s a legacy character. I think people would be more interested in Sweeney. Bjorlin appears in Daytime for partying and for getting feedback from her “adoring public”. So it’s not surprising that she’d venture into new ways to pimp herself out there. That’s what untalented people like Bjorlin do anyway. Whatevs, publicity whores will be publicity whores. Zucker would have been a better choice! At least Zucker seems like she could bring a lot of humor to her blog, since… Read more »

Chrishell Stause Makes a Return to Days of our Lives

You just never know who you will find in purgatory on Days of our Lives! And now, in a surprise return, Chrishell Stause reprises her role of Jordan Ridgeway in all new episodes on the Peacock streaming soap opera.

In the latest promo released on Friday, Chrishell is seen in the ‘afterlife’ as Kate Roberts runs into Jordan, her old arch-nemesis! Let the games begin.

Stause, who is one of the mainstays of the Netflix reality series, Selling Sunset, comes back to her old stomping grounds at DAYS just as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Kate have ‘died’ and have all landed in this white space which could be heaven, or is it really hell, or somewhere in between?

Chrishell made her DAYS debut back in August of 2013 and exited the series on March 9th of 2015.  Stause returned in 2019 until Jordan finally met her demise. She returned again in 2020 in a series of flashbacks.

Watch the promo for next week’s episodes of DAYS below.

The nominated and winning DAYS writing team consists of: Head Writer Ron Carlivati; Writers Lorraine Broderick, Jazmen Darnell Brown, Joanna Cohen, Carolyn Culliton, Richard Culliton, Cheryl Davis, Kirk Doering, Christopher Dunn, Jamey Giddens, David Kreizman, Ryan Quan, Dave Ryan, Katherine D. Schock.

DAYS head writer, Ron Carlivati shared in a statement: “My team and I are thrilled to be nominated for the 2023 Writers Guild Award for Daytime.  We submitted three scripts from the storyline about Craig’s late-in-life coming out, the impact it had on his wife, Nancy, and of course, his ill-fated romance with the ever-scheming Leo. We felt that these episodes were a good representation of what Days of our Lives does best: high-stakes family drama with a comedic twist.”
