On Wednesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Graham (Max Shippee) dropped a bombshell on the Abbott clan and the court, when taking the witness stand

This, following a rather celebratory Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland), who think they nailed the guy after Dina’s (Marla Adams) manuscript of her memoirs surface.  In it, Dina says she is kind of over her new boy toy, Graham.  In addition, she wrote about the diagnosis of her illness,  and her desire to have reconcile with her children before it’s too late.

When the judge orders a recess to consider the new evidence, Graham and his attorney make one last power play.

Graham takes the stand and reveals that this entire hearing is a waste of time, because he is legally married to Dina and her next of kin. Dina blows him a kiss from the court, and we fade to black!

So, what did you think of Graham’s stunning reveal?  What do you hope happens next?  Who should be taking care of Dina? Comment below, but first watch the cliffhanger after the jump!

Dina is not in a state of mind to make such a decision. How long have they been married? And just because they are married does not mean he should have control over her life decisions.

Actually, he does, Mo, if the marriage is on the up ‘n up. If it is regarded as a legal document, then your question comes into play….”How long have they been married?. If they martied while Dina did not have her full faculties, and/or, if the marriage was not consummated, then, Michael can draw something from that.
Didn’t Traci say, the marriage licence dated as recently as when Graham whisked Dina away?
I cannot guess who will win….these writers ( including all soaps) are whimsical, fickle, unpredictable, and change lanes without a blinking light….without a moment’s notice. We are at their mercy.
I can tell you , though, I am ready to punch Graham ….probably won’t reach his head…but, I can clip his chin, a bit. I’ll wear a large-stoned ring. That’ll get him.

hi Mo ..
ahh that was precious!
I had to laugh, Graham worked it..
bwhaa when he threw Dina a kiss and she was all giggly, that was great and I did laugh and anytime I can laugh I’m enjoying it..

{{ it’s all only make believe }}

Dina and Graham are awesome!

I got a kick out of the kiss as well. I am really loving the show in general right now. I can’t wait to see how its going to play out

Ah ha, su…now, Graham truly stepped out. He’s a criminal with nefarious intentions. He will hurt Dina….whatever he stole when breaking into the lab, will be used, somehow, someway to hurt the Abbotts which will definitely hurt Dina. I think Ashley, pretty much, gave it away when she took the ‘very toxic’ vial and put it on a shell by itself…
…..will Graham use it to his advantage, only to backfire?
I cannot condone that…. Make believe? Of course, but my juices of anger and disdain towards Graham are ‘agoin’, LOL….Graham is a bad, bad boy!!

Villians;
Villians give yah Goose Bumps, put you on the edge while your skin crawls.
Graham is Not Bloodcurdling Frightening nor Hair Raising.
Graham is Nobodies Nightmare..

Graham is a;
Sinister Scoundrel, Cunning, Machiavellian, he’s Stealth a Dastardly Gentleman but he’s not in the villain category.

I see it more often than not, soap fans calling bad guys Villians, the bad guy just needs to do a dirty deed and they yell Villan and truth is they are not villains a true villain is rare..
True villains were- Ray Gardner and Billy Clyde and others in kind- and the era of actual real soap villains has long ago been left in the 80’s ..(most likely because of political correctness, sigh)

I luvs Graham!! He and Dina are a soap rarity..
If you don’t take them tightly seriously they will entertain you and give you an occasional laugh. and that folks feels good..
I hope Dina and Graham never stop throwing kisses (thanks for that out loud laugh, writters.. humor is near dead in the soaps)

{{ Villians tie helpless women onto railroad tracks, twist their black moustaches and laugh. (bawahahaa! }}

If that diary is true can’t they argue that Dina’s mental status was impaired before the marriage? It states she knew 6 months after her dalliance started and wanted to end things, she was forgetful and confused. Come on Michael do something to invalidate it!

hi Dymundjake..
Jack is Dina’s son but he does Not have the legal authority to do anything concerning Dina, no matter when she was diagnosed..he is not her power of attorney ..
Graham is legally Dina’s husband..
Jack, being her son does not give him the power.

Yeah…very sad, su, your very, ‘esteemed’ Graham is scheming to kill Dina, before her kids do anything to prove he is a fraud, a usurper of old ladies, a crook and a thief….he needs to get her money before that happens.
Then what? No fun there, my friend. I doubt even you would laugh at that!!
You provided me with a lot of humor with your own way of making things always look rosy…as you say….not real life. However, SuzieQ, this happens in real life……what we are presented with are ‘crimes’ committed which the writers ‘borrow’ from the real world.

If i was Michael, i would ask the judge to order Dina to undergo tests to see if she remembers marrying Graham.Or Michael could have asked for a continuance so that he could investigate Graham’s claim that he and Dina are legally married

WOOT WOOT GO GRAHM !!!
Graham kicked Abbott azz !!
I loved it !

that was so sweet to watch the snotty Abbots go down ..
thing is, somehow Jack an Ashely will eventually prevail but until then I’m luvin Grahm and Dina!!!

Well, Suoo, I am not a “WOOT WOOT” kind of person but I will give it a try.
WOOT!…..?
I liked it. Graham and Dina are great fun.

hi Harry ..
wow! your ”WOOT” was real WOOTY !
you need to WOOT more often ! 🙂

yes, agree — Dina & Graham are great fun !

When Dina had her stroke and was down on the floor.. Graham looked at her and heard CH-CHING and walked away..
I thought; 0ooh my gawd! … did he just do that, yes he did! that was crazy!

but yet, he really likes being with her treats her like a queen and Dina loves that, yes she does, it makes her bloomin’ happy, so I’m fine with it..
They are odd for sure, but so dang awesome together! {entertaining)

Oh my gosh….Harry and su, please keep it going…you guys are killing me.
Remember Harry, your WOOT, was not WOOTY enough…..hilarious….tears of laughter streaming down my cheeks. HaHa and double LOL. Keep WOOTING!!

As I said, you crack me up, SuzieQ……however, the kicking azz should not be at Dina’s expense. This story is not about kicking azz, or sticking it to the characters ( more like marionettes, here) we do not like. I have never liked Jack, but, but, but….
I am sure that such situations happen in real life….where men, or women take advantage of the elderly, and mentally impaired souls.
I do not like the way this heartbreaking disease is handled……it took a wrong turn, in my opinion, when Dina’s actions became the subject of humor and ridicule. I found myself chuckling, spontaneously, at her antics and phraseology….then I bit my lip, as it were, because I was ashamed of myself for laughing.
I do not think this should have been the approach…to put an ‘entertaing’ spin on such a serious disease.
The dialogue needs to change. I must agree I saw a little change….but, the writers must remember Dina is not a child…..from where I stand, that is exactly how she is being portrayed. A patsy, more or less……the childish, kiss-blowing image is still in my head. Bah!!

hi Celia ..
It’s ok.. The characters are functional as are the stories..
Dina and Graham are fun…
Yes, Dina has Alzheimer’s but she doesn’t actually exist ..

I don’t watch to too feel sad and cry, soaps are to take us out of real life, I do have fun watching the soaps they can be soooo cheesy LOL ..

I have fun luvin the villains they need love too lol ..
Now, about Sharon, I will spear you my opinion, this time Haahaa!

Dina and Graham are priceless! ((Mrs and Mr Graham throwing kisses haa!))

OOOPSIE! ”functional ” to be fictional..
just saying in case it makes no sense at all ..lol

Ceilia, I respond to you regarding the underlying give and take betwix you and SuOOO. My comparison is not on point exactly, but A. E. Housman’s poem “To an Athlete Dying Young” raises an incredible irony relative to dying as does the Dina’s Alzheimer’s Disease storyline.

The person who asked why did Dina always recognized one thing and then not another; well that is the crux and not only the dilemma of the disease.

There is no consistency, usually. When people are as socially adept as Dina they often can cause terrible legal problems for family and the Courts.

There are always humorous circumstances found when living in the world of the patient and the non-patient. I find that OK as long as the writer’s leave this segment telling the audience not only the pain of the family as well as the patient and the costs.

My mother retained her social skills and ability to speak. When finally a place was needed for her, she used to sit in the front room and introduce herself as the owner. Many thought that true. It was a thoughtful and wonderful spot to let her do so.

The writer’s must not conclude this lightly.

Tani Sterling, beautifully put–thank you. I really appreciate your insight on the matter.
I am so sorry for you and your family.

@Tani Sterling.
Hi, Tani,
Thank you for your informative reply……I feel for you and any other person who finds herself/himself in the midst of an ocean without a lifesaver.
I do hope you have some sort of succor from all your family members. I do not have any relative with this heartbreaking disease, but I have seen it first-hand, as I described above. My best and my heart goes out to you and yours, Tani….I cry over everything and everyone, albeit I do not know you personally…..Yet, any suffering touches my heart.
For those who do not know anyone with this disease, I must say, that it is extremely difficult to watch a beautiful lady, whom I have known all my life, in this condition.
I must say she is very happy…..she does remember her family members in moments of lucidity, but it is so fleeting….
As for myself, she never wavers…I am Judy!!
Again, I repeat, Y&R is en pointe—-I appreciate their account and the respect shown, not just to the afflicted person, but also, to the disease.

su0000…EXACTLY!!!!! More and more, I love me some Graham…YAY!!!!! That Jack is nothing but a smug, two-faced and womanizing CAD!!!!! And that Ashley is nothing but an annoying, humorless and self-righteous SOURBALL!!!!! And…TOTALLY…Graham and Dina blowing those kisses to each other in that courtroom…BOTH LOL AND EVEN MORE PRICELESS!!!!! Bottom Line Here: GO GRAHAM GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a good one.

LOL… how far should Graham go, Jay? LOL.. …I agree…bring Jack down—I never liked him….I like Ashley, most of the time….she would not hurt a fly, unlike Jack.
Poor Dina….she’s the victim here, and, I’m afraid, Graham will hurt her….then, we won’t be laughing, albeit su will find a way….that’s why su wins…she’s fun!! If we knew each other, we’d be best friends! Ha!

Ok, so you did it again, SuzieQ……you have made my day….belly-laughing so hard as I read your reply….you, my friend, are priceless. Keep posting just the way you have been.
When you put Dina and Graham in your particularly own way, it does make sense….yeah, I see the light….. these characters play a part….but, such people do exist.
By the by……you see joy and fun….I like it. Life is much easier that way, my love. Thanks!!

The writing on this show is such a mess. Michael couldn’t think of a basis for getting a judge to issue an injunction against Graham taking Dina out of town until Ashley reminded him about Graham’s vendetta against Dina that was publicly revealed during Ashley’s Innovator of the Year party — a party Michael attended and a confession that Michael was witness to. That’s a lawyer you really want to have in your corner, huh?

I’m assuming Graham married Dina when he whisked her off to Florida so would a marriage to a person suffering from Alzheimer’s and a stroke even be considered legal? That seems like a double whammy in the “sound mind and body” aspect of making legal decisions to me…

(And while I’m on the subject of the writing on this show, what was with that “women empowerment” party where Sharon forgave Abby? So unbelievable. If my boyfriend cheated on me, the LAST thing I would do is forgive his side piece…)

And why was Michael taking an attitude about Jack and Ashley not getting Dina to change her will? Isn’t he the lawyer? Shouldn’t he have been providing a push to have the matter taken care of as soon as possible since he is their lawyer? What are they paying him for?

Jack needed to go to Michael for advice as to what to do about the will and tell Michael there is a will and what is in it’ Jack did not contact Michael about the will so Michael could act on it..
Michael is not Jacks caregiver LOL ..

Oh, Alan, I fear our Michael has lost his edge. It seems every novice or unethical lawyer he comes up against has him quaking in his boots and his confidence disappears. I wonder if Mr. LeBlanc is as frustrated with Michael’s ongoing slide as we are.

They should have changed the POA and will as soon as they got back from Florida. Yes, what are they paying Michael for??!!!

So many holes in the plot… always a sign of writing done without a true outline of long-range events, Alan.

However, before this courtroom episode, the day prior was simply the WORST Y and R episode ever– those women in Sharon’s house were so uncomfortable with the content. The look on Sharon’s face was true befuddlement. People stood around in the scene…. and just stood around. What a waste of time. I have seen better scripted sagas from my high school 9th grade English class students. I inch closer and closer to breaking away from a show I watched when I was home ill in junior high… a show I grew to watch in college… a show that gave me the opportunity to interview and learn creative writing tips from Bill Bell himself… a show where I got to see Kay Alden sit at her typewriter and punch out great dialogue. UGGGH, I hate seeing what’s come of this show.

Ron, I just want to say I think you are GREAT and as you know I feel the same way that you do about Y&R…very sad state of a once classic show/soap…I just so wish that CBS/Sony would listen to us but I have a feeling they don’t care…

Thanks, Kevin– appreciate the support, and know that I, likewise, share your sentiment on our dear show. While CBS may be deaf to the frustrations of its loyal fans on Y and R, those posts at least help many of us know we’re together in our thoughts. I guess the current heads at CBS aren’t versed in the 70s uphill battle Y and R fought through in the ratings until it finally hit the top 3 and eventually to the top spot– the great stories, the pacing, the production values, the MUSIC. All of these elements are gone. Cheap thrills, and characters who have no respect for one another anymore– where is morality? Every now and then I “you tube” scenes from a bygone era. Thank goodness for that!

Till the next issue, stay cool.

THANKS again Ron…stay warm…COLD here to in southern OK just north of the Texas boarder north of Dallas/Ft Worth…I also look on “you tube” for past episodes and I noticed a lot of videos of Y&R from the past have been deleted which is sad…There was the episode when Nikki and Victor remarried in 2002 and I loved it for that’s when Jack Allocco was playing the piano and Darlene Kodenhoven was singing The Prayer which was the first time I ever heard it, so beautiful. Also in the video Abby was a baby and Ashley was making a video of her telling Abby who her father is and I think Ashley was dying of cancer??? memory is not like it use to be…Till next time Ron take care and again stay warm…

As one educator to another, Ron….I bow before you. While I do not teach English ( Physics), I am pretty well-versed, and particularly mindful of my ‘p’s’ and ‘q’s’.
I have said this ad nauseam…that is, writers, of all soaps, fill in the ‘blanks’, as they go along.
Case in point; I doubt turning Graham into a murderer was in the cards….I pray he will not get the chance to kill Dina and have Ashley be blamed for it. Last minute scribbling?

PS, Ron, we have engaged, in the past, about your meeting(s) with Mr. Bell—how different the writing is ( for lack of a more a’ propos word) however, I must add that the grammar is getting worse, as well. Why is that??…
Tell me truly….As an English teacher, and because of my insatiable curiosity; does it bother you when you hear….”for you and I”, “between you and I”, ” for she/he and I”….etc….get my gist? It bothers me to no end, when the subjective case is used instead of the objective. LOL.
That’s just one aspect of the misuse of the English grammar.

Hey, Ron,
Another of my comments to you was lost “in space”…..It has been extremely cold for almost three weeks, in NYC, its suburbs/counties/Long Island ( warmed up, recently)….the reason why I questioned how the citizens of PC walk the streets without coats or boots…..LOL.

Celia– Thanks for all the posts! I cringe when I hear horrific misuse of grammar. Sadly, very few of even our youngest educators seem to know the difference between active/passive verbs and subject/object use. We can even hear it in some great song lyrics these days! Like my grandparents use to say, then my parents, and now me: what’s the world coming to? Ha.

Here’s hoping we see even a tinge of good dialogue on Y and R… way too many cliches.

Well, we visited NYC over the summer and loved it! One of our sons is on the college hunt and Syracuse is currently on the spring break “to visit” list. I’m hoping he sticks with Northwestern, but it’s his call (a lot of other schools in the mix.)

Physics, English… happy subjects!

Stay warm… R

Used!

Aw, Ron…as far as I’m concerned, Y-O-U should be writing for Y&R!!!!! To me, you are making WAY MORE SENSE than those Y&R Powers That Be and those clueless writers!!!!! Thank You.

Have a good one, Ron.

Jaybird,

I thought Sussman and Alden’s return would likewise bring in the return to its original formula. Thanks for the vote of confidence… not sure my wife would want me writing daytime drama! Then again, you never know!

Perhaps several of us should apply for writing positions and see where it goes. What fun that would be.

Carry on my friend!

I like the Dina/Graham storyline but understand your points, Alan.
But I most certainly agree with you about that Girl-Power-Forgiveness-Fest.
It didn’t work, did it?
It felt forced and contrived. I fully expected someone to put on that song,”We are Family (I Got All My Sisters With Me)” and start dancing and gyrating frantically around Sharon’s house.

Oh, my gosh, Alan….we have a meeting of the minds. I had not read your post, until now. I said some of the same things to Mo, LOL. I wasn’t trying to parrot you….honest…..
…..yes, TPTB are making a mockery out of the legal system. I feel terrible because I love this show, soooo much….I will never stop watching, no matter what.

Alan, I don’t pretend to understand Alzheimer’s but I wish someone could explain how Dina rarely remembers her family, but seems to ALWAYS remember and trust Graham completely. Why doesn’t she occasionally shrink from that snake and go running to Ashley or Traci? So annoying.

hi Soaphound ..
Perhaps Dina Feels Graham, how happy he makes her, she feels safe with him, Dina loves being with Graham and that’s hard to forget..
Whereas Jack and Ashely treat her like a caged baby and she wants to forget them ….. bwahaha!

Hi, Soaphound,
I have a friend whose grandmother has full-blown Alzheimer’s. The poor lady remembers her family sporadically….when I visit, she calls me Judy, her daughter. She keeps asking me the same thing…” How was school today? Did you pass your Math test?”. Judy must have had Math issues?
It is a very puzzling disease….one that has the medical world at an impasse….research is forever alive.
I get a special treatment, always, by this great lady….the rest of the people around her disappear when she sees me.
I must bring her back to her ‘better’ days, somehow…..where her world was perfect? I must trigger something. I am happy to be her balm; that she can find some solace with me around…..I do visit as often as I possibly can.
The writers are actually doing a great job displaying the different moods and mind-altering moments… patients do act just the way Dina does….But, I do not appreciate the ridicule…as I said, Dina should not be depicted as a vehicle for laughter.

Soaphound, I understand Alzheimer’s can be inconsistent as far as memory is concerned. One day the person recognizes his or her loved ones and the next day they forget and in their confusion, they lash out. Dina doesn’t always love and remember Graham as seen with the scene in the Genoa City Hotel Restaurant.
I think Y&R is doing a fine job balancing the reality of Alzheimer’s with entertainment value and it can’t be easy.
Some complain that it’s not paying complete realistic fidelity to Alzheimer’s but I think if it was completely realistic no one would want to watch and the ratings would plummet.

Plus Michael could have pointed that if Graham is married to Dina and he has been for awhile why is he just now revealing it?Plus if i was Michael and the Abbotts i would investigate what Graham has been up to since they last saw him.For example if they could find evidence that he has been with another woman then that could hurt his claim that he loves Dina.

I was saying the other day that Michael would be the last lawyer I would hire, he loses more then he wins. He seems to have his zeal!!

Man, Max Shippee sure is pretty to look at, but his acting is so bad. Even if he is just a short-term character who will be killed off in a murder-mystery, it seems they could have stunt cast this with some major star – Jon Hensley, James DePaiva, Michael Park, Laurence Lau, etc.

Do you think he’s bad? Honestly, I am not so sure. Maybe this how a sinister, slightly sociopathic grifter acts? Sometimes, I think there is a heart beating underneath that cold facade but I am not so sure.
But it’s the not knowing which makes him an interesting character.
He’s sort of like GH’s Nelle that way.

Yeah, it’s pretty cringeworthy. To me, there’s no layer or nuance. Maybe he will get better.

You’re so right. He is so amateurish I find myself giggling when he tries to act. The idea that a pre-Alzheimers Dina could find him anything but a sleaze is insulting.

If this was the case, why did Graham even agree to the hearing? I must say that I have not been a fan of Mal Young’s writing. Some of the dialogue is good but the pace and characterizations are off. Sometimes there is no motivation for the things that characters say and do. It’s OK for a soap to move a little more slowly in order to provide more attention to detail and story points. I don’t see the value in having big moments in minor scenes. Overall, I find the writing for the Dina story line sloppy and revisionist. As always kudos to the actors for doing their best with the material they are given.

This show is on fire. Can’t wait for the next ep.

Brilliant! Mic drop, indeed. Love to hate Graham. Max Shippee is wonderful.

Best description of how I feel, Margie….”Love to hate Graham”.
As I said on another site……if any actor can get my anger/resentment going to the point of ‘physically’ attacking him, LOL……then, he deserves all the credit. Max IS sooo good at being bad.
I need to impress upon all you nice people that I am not a violent person, and have never attacked anyone….I swear, LOL.
My fake anger is only to make a point.

I do like that he gets under Jack and Ashley’s skin!

I haven’t seen the next episode but I do hope Jack punches Graham again!!!

If he does, we won’t see it because it will be the next day.

Bravo, Y&R! One would think an entire episode dedicated to this subject matter would be dull, but the writers, directors and actors pulled it off seamlessly managing to merge a gravely serious topic with entertainment value. I loved hearing Dina’s voice read her memoirs and hearing the sea change of her opinion of Graham ebb and flow in accordance with the progression of her Alzheimer’s disease. For the longest time soaps have avoided the subject of Alzheimer’s because of the challenge of mediating between its grim and tragic reality and proving an entertaining story line. I think Y&R has managed to balance the two aforementioned concerns beautifully.

I agree with you on this episode– while Y and R generally has a courtroom case extend weeks on end (which I generally don’t mind) this episode had excellent pacing aside from Ash and Traci finding “the needle in the haystack” evidence in a couple of tv hours. Dina’s voice over of her journal entries was beautifully written and exquisitely narrated.

I said exactly the same thing, Ron, “needle in a haystack…Plus, how ridiculous Michael, as a lawyer, is being depicted…alack, my comment did not post.

Celia– didn’t see your post, but I KNOW how you think. You have the same vibe about things as I, and so many others do– how wonderful to share common likes and common frustrations! Don’t know if it’s warm where you are, but boy, here in Chicago area has been up and down (like Y and R episodes) and it cracks me up when characters on the show walk out of their homes carrying their jackets. Genoa City is about an hour north of my residence and I’ll wager they feel the pain of -40 degree windchills!

missed it

interesting…

MARLA ADAMS IS PUTTING THEM ALL TO SHAME…WHAT AN ACTRESS!!!! THIS IS THE ONLY BRIGHT SPOT ON THIS WHOLE SOAP…..

Love the character Graham. Hope they let him stay around awhile longer to irritate the Abbotts.
Max Shippee plays a villain well.

hi Monty ..
yes, Max Shippee is a hunk.. I saw him shirtless looking rugged WHOA he is the package!

Graham, he is a Gentleman Villian.
He is suave and classy, an aristocrat type, a new breed of Villian.

su0000…more and more, you make me LOL!!!!! Thank You. And, oh, yes…Max Shippee is a HUNK!!!!! Oh…and BTW, a Y&R wish of mine for ALL of 2018 is A LOT MORE Graham…SHIRTLESS AND ALL!!!!! AW, HELL YEAH!!!!!

Take care.

Suoo, we are in total sync about Graham.
This may be a first.
As you like to say, he provides great campy fun. As I keep saying, he’s the guy you want to sit next to at some pretentious wedding reception in order to dish the wedding guests. I think that is what Dina likes about him.

A marriage based on fraud and duress of an incompetent could readily be nullified

Thursday’s episode dealt another blow to Michael’s credibility as a lawyer: he petitioned a judge to grant an injunction preventing Graham from taking Dina out of town until their marriage could be sorted out without even obtaining a marriage license to prove when they were wed. And why would a judge grant the petition without proof of the marriage date? What if the marriage had taken place in Paris years earlier?Meanwhile,Tracy was able to just go online and find the Florida marriage license which she showed to Michael after he and Ashley had already delivered the paperwork to Graham. Why didn’t Michael think of that?

No wonder Michael is sweating every time some random lawyer shows up against him in court these days…

The Abbotts should get a discount on Michael’s fee as they are doing some of his work for him. Michael needs an investigator, like Matlock had.

And dont forget Reed’s DUI hearing. Michael stood there while Mattie dug a deeper hole for Moppy!

I called it and I love it! I just wish the actor was better suited for the role. THEN, I would want Graham a permanent resident of Genoa City!

Timm, do you think the actor will grow on you? I think he’s ideal for this role.
On another note, as I know you are one of the few who appreciate Victor, I loved him telling Reed how it’s going to be.
There’s Reed, with his feet up on the coffee table at the Newman Ranch asking for cake to be served to him and Victor gives him a boot like schedule to which he must adhere if he’s going to live there. After Victor delivers his litany of expectations to Reed, who has askance washing over his features, he tells him he has to get a hair cut. Touch love, Baby! This is exactly what Reed needs. Can they send Scott over there to Victor’s boot camp for slackers?

Opps, I forgot to write camp after boot.
Let’s hear it for Victor Newman’s Boot Camp for Wayward Teens and Slacking Slimeballs who need Haircuts!
I think Victor has found himself a new occupation.

Harry…’boot camp for slackers’…LOVE IT…LOL!!!!! Thank You.

Have a good one, Harry.

Harry, he might. He seems wooden but he does play a thorn well. Victor is an icon. I know he gets under peoples skin for never paying for his dirty deeds but its fun to watch. Its entertainment. I love his tough love. Reed needs his ass whooped! And Scott, Victor would never let a mop hang around the office. Clean up or get out!

Just love Marla Adams. Have not seen her acting chops this good, since Secret Storm, so many years ago. I have also wondered as to why Dina is never confused as to who, Graham is. Now, seeing him steal the stuff from Ashley’s lab, we know what he intends to do with it, and it sure isn’t going to be making perfumes. Agree about Michael. He used to be a force of nature, a Perry Mason or Matlock, if you will, but lately, I just want them to call Diane from GH. She’d take down the bad guys in short order. Sharon’s party was just stupid, and with her glassy eyed, crazy acting, she looked like she was on speed, or worse. What was Tessa doing there? She acted like she was asking her self the same question, character-wise as well as real life. I kept waiting for the three ladies, involved with Nick, to start comparing notes on his attributes, or otherwise bedroom behavior. I know it would have been impropriate, but so much fun, with innuendos and eye rolling. Sorry., just an old lady’s idea of fun.

Yes, I realized I used the wrong word for inappropriate. We can’t edit anymore, darn it!

Simple all you have to do is prove she was not of sound mind now the Abbott’s they have been estranged for years so that goes against them in our family I was the only one who kept in contact with my sis no other family member could challenge her decision to make me POA it has been a learning experience I wish he would call me so I could tell him the mistakes he is making with this disease . In and out of reality is common and if you think a certain individual is going to save you from being locked up you go to them this could be a great story if he had kept Kay Alden on he is rushing it and the actor who plays Graham is weak at best best advice sign Beth Maitland/Traci to a contract she is the stable one of the family her scenes heart wrenching their is a reason why she received the first Emmy from that soap she is gold!!!

LOL, K/kay….it seems everyone in GC has mental issues……some time or other.
Today was partly a bust for me…FFed through all the Cane/Lily scenes…..cannot stomach Cane.
Also, today, I finally realized why TPTB are all over Hilary and the notion of a baby.
I do believe Mishael ( Hilary) is pregnant in real life….”they” must fill the script with that fact.
Of course, I may be wrong….but…..
The logical course the writhers will take, if, indeed, there is a pregnancy; Hilary will put her questionable skills to use. She must take Devon to bed!! Or anyone who is willing…but, my bet is on the billionaire….

What a calculating, disturbing & obviously desperate move on Graham’s part..
This is simply the beginning of a new chapter for him…. Next step up on his
agenda will be to use the drugs he stole from Ashley’s lab…against the family.
Until Dina during a moment of clarity puts him down like the dog he is, that is
poetic justice a la soap opera way.

How simple is it to see that Graham will end up dead and its a “Who Done it” coming soon!

Well, my Timmmy….who done it???? Ashley will be the prime suspect, as I have intimated on the other site.
So, needless to say, Michael ( who now sports red hair) will be defending her. I hope he gets his act together–he has been less than ” cunning as a fox” lately……he needs to brush up on his “expertise”, lickety split.

Well this is not the place to post it but my TV was on fire with JT and Victoria scenes ! Ouch a word of advice get to counseling you two belong together off screen also you have children and off the charts chemistry. I have not seen Amelia with that much chemistry since Billy Miller left obvious you two have unfinished business a word to the wise if their is love work on it marriage takes work do it.

Oh, yeah, K/kay….you bet !! They do belong together. Watching them told me, at least, that they were oblivious to the cameras….they were in the moment with wild abandon where everything else simply disappeared…..know what I’m talking about ?

I agree, JT returning is really like having a Billy Miller breathe of fresh air on the show!

On General Hospital, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is having her own crisis to deal with since the accident that scarred and disfigured her face. In addition, the man she loves, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was just hauled into the PCPD for punching out Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). Curtis is determined to put the blame on Dr. Gannon for being the driver of the other car.

Such is the drama that Tanisha Harper is currently involved in on the long-running ABC daytime drama. Harper sat down with hosts Rebecca Budig (Taylor, The Bold and the Beautiful) and Greg Rikaart (Leo, Days of Our Lives) for the latest edition of their Soapy podcast which dropped on Tuesday.

As GH fans know, there have been a total of four actresses to play the role of Jordan. Vinessa Antoine (2014–2018), Briana Nicole Henry (2018–2021): Tiffany Daniels (2021) who temporarily filled-in for Henry while she was recovering from Covid-19, and Tanisha Harper (2022- present).

FINOLA HUGHES WAS A BIG CHEERLEADER FOR TANISHA

Tanisha recalls her screen-test for the role which was actually with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and Finola Hughes (Anna): “They were wonderful. I just adore Finola.  I remember when I had finished one of the scenes, and I think we were doing another scene, or another take in a different way, and she was like, “You got this. You’re gonna get this.”  She was so positive, so great, and just so lovely and it made me feel so good.”

BECOMING THE NEXT JORDAN ASHFORD

In addition, Harper shared how she really didn’t know what part she actually would be playing till shortly before her first day on set. “There were two other Jordans, and then there was another girl before me and Brianna,” she detailed. “Initially, I didn’t know that was the role I was going for. So I thought it was for the district attorney. Once I had booked the job, I think about a week before when they sent the script to me, they’re like, ‘You’re going to be playing the character Jordan.’ Even though she been played by two other girls, they didn’t want me to go in and try to emulate how the other girls did their performances. They just wanted me make it my own, and do my own thing.  I think that helped. I didn’t really know anything about the character at all, and it was kind of hard at the time to see online other people’s performances. So, I was forced to make the character my own.”

JORDAN’S INSIDE JOB TO TAKE DOWN SIDWELL

Recently, Jordan went back to using her undercover skills to infiltrate Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) organization and get the dirt on his crimes. As she explained her character’s current plight, “Jordan decided to take it upon herself to go undercover to get this bad guy Sidwell, who’s come into town. So I resign from my position, and now my character has been working for him undercover, but he’s a very wealthy man. So my character, she was enjoying that life. She’s all of a sudden walking around with her fancy bags and her cars, but she’s still undercover. Now, Jordan was in a big car accident and now her face is all scarred.” Viewers need to stay tuned-in to GH to see what happens next!

Watch the full conversation with Tanisha on her visit to the Soapy podcast below.

Now weigh-in, do you think Jordan will eventually get the goods on Sidwell, or is she useless in this situation? Will she wind up needing Sidwell to get her to some specialist to help remove the scars on her face? What do you think about Tanisha’s process to becoming the recast Jordan? Patrick Muldoon Laid to Rest in Celebration of Life Attended by ‘Days of Our Lives’ Stars

Over the weekend on May 16, former Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place star, Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed) was laid to rest in a celebration of life service attended by many who worked and knew him in the DAYS family. The mass was held at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, California.

Muldoon passed away back on April 19 when he had a sudden and fatal heart attack. The fan favorite actor was 57-years-old. The coroner’s report and death certificate reportedly indicated that underlying causes included: pulmonary embolism and coagulopathy disorder, a genetic condition that impairs the blood’s ability to form clots properly, were involved.

Galen Gering (Rafe, DAYS) posted an incredibly touching video montage, showing the handout of the celebration of life mass for Muldoon. Then, the lyrics to one of Muldoon’s beautiful songs, as he was also an accomplished singer and songwriter. That was followed by a photo of Christie Clark (ex-Carrie, DAYS), Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami, DAYS) and himself, and then one of Patrick with Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail, DAYS, now Kristina, GH). At the end of the compilation, Gering wrote, “We will never forget you, Bruv.”

Kate Mansi shared a photo on her Instagram Story with Galen, Christie, Alison and herself from the the Celebration of Life expressing, “One beautiful day celebrating the spirit of Patrick Muldoon. No surprise it was as authentic as you my friend.”

Rodney Peete, the former USC football star also attended and took to his Instagram and shared, “Tough Day saying goodbye to my friend Pat Muldoon!!! He was my Teammate, My Brother, My Friend🙏🏾 miss you already brotha!!” It should be noted that while Patrick made his career in acting, he was also quite the athlete when he was growing up, including playing tight end for the USC Trojans in the 80s.

In addition, Patrick Muldoon’s ex-girlfriend and dear friend Denise Richards’ (ex-Shauna, B&B) daughter Sami Sheen was also in attendance and shared a snap of the handout for the service on her Instagram.

Soap fans first saw Muldoon as Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) son on DAYS back in 1992, where he quickly became pat of the love story between Austin Reed and Carrie Brady and of course, Carrie’s sister, Sami, wanting Austin for herself! Patrick left the series in 1995. He later made a comeback for appearances in 2011 and 2012.

On Melrose Place, Muldoon played bad buy Richard Hart from 1995-1996. He launched his acting career while in college landing the role of Matt in the 1990 sitcom Who’s The Boss? alongside the likes of Judith Light (ex-Karen, OLTL) and Tony Danza. Following his graduation, Patrick nabbed a recurring role as Jeffrey Hunter in Saved By The Bell by 1991 and the rest was history.

Now below, take a look at the images from Patrick Muldoon’s celebration of life and remembrances from Galen Gering. Then let us know, were you touched to see Patrick’s DAYS colleagues in attendance to remember one of their own? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
