Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun Written Out of The Young and the Restless

It looks like the current run of Lucas Adams (Noah) and Tamara Braun (Sienna) on The Young and the Restless is coming to an end, after the Monday, August 3 edition of the CBS daytime drama revealed that Noah and Sienna are leaving Genoa City and heading back to Los Angeles.

In the storyline, Noah informed his mother, Sharon (Sharon Case) and half-sister Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he and Sienna made the decision to move back to the West Coast to put distance between themselves and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Although Noah did not say it was a permanent move, he did assure his mom that once Matt is hopefully gone from Genoa City they could return.

However, as previewed already on the video teaser for this week’s episodes of Y&R (see below), it appears Noah left Genoa City’s The Shadow Room to be run by a returning Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). So with that, coupled with today’s episode, it would appear the move could wind up being more permanent.

COMINGS AND GOINGS

Adams made his Y&R debut on November 4, 2025 as the successor to Rory Gibson who last played Noah on-screen in April of 2023. Earlier in 2025, Gibson took over the role of Michael Corinthos on Genera Hospital replacing Chad Duell, who stepped away from the part after 15 years.

Braun who played Adam’s mother on Days of Our Lives when she was Ava Vitali and he was Tripp Dalton, first appeared on Y&R back on October 14, 2025, where we soon learned she had become Noah’s lover as the new character, Sienna Bacall.  It should be noted, Adams was on contract with the number #1 soap, while Braun has been on recurring status.

With Josh Griffith now exited as head writer of The Young and the Restless, and the newly announced co-head writing team of Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor having taken his place and starting their new tenure this week, it will be interesting to see how the duo resets the show, and if a Noah and Sienna return is in the cards for the future or not.

So, what do you think about the seeming departures of Lucas Adams and Tamara Braun from The Young and the Restless? Weigh-in via the comment section. But first, check out our recent live chat with Tamara and Lucas on the Michael Fairman Channel.

Thank you

They have been a really terrible match up – – she is clearly way too old for him

Too old? Who says there can’t be love and romance between members from different generations?

Hoping it is temporary. Lucas Adams has sparked as Noah, and Tamara Braun has been a welcomed addition as Sienna. Praying they are both back soon!

Why ?? He has a mother relationship ugh and JM is always going to play the pathetic horn dog 50 years lild and he still plays the same song and dance

Not once in my response did I ever mention Joshua Morrow, so zero idea why you felt the need to insert him into your reply.

She’s a fantastic actress and plays a character that is dictated by the writing staff. She has no control over what her character says or does.

He was not a bad Noah but where the heck is Christian?

Have Noah’s disco shirts been written off as well?

HA!

Noah escaped Audra in London, Allie Abbott in Paris and now a ” reformed” Matt clark. A pattern seems to have crept in on the character

Another failed attempt to turn Noah Newman into a successful character. They should have tried the original plan to make him gay…

They never stood a chance with the silly story they’ve have to play. Noah had to be one of the dumbest characters ever written. Real shame about Tamara because she had CHOPS! Sad situation.

Tamara Braun is an excellent actress. It’s too bad.

i thought Lucas was doing a good job as Noah it’s a shame this legacy character has had such a revolting door hopefully the new writers will figure this out ! Btw keep wearing those disco shirts Noah it has everyone talking !

Lucas is a great actor. I could see him being a great addition to GH, maybe as a love interest for Joss.

You can bet your soul that both of them will be back in Salem before too long. And of course, by that I mean they will probably be taping there within a few weeks, but given the ridiculous taping schedule at Days, you wouldn’t see them until Summer 2027

I fo not sed a future for them. Unless it was going to be revolved around Matt who i hope is ousted soon. I do. Ot cars for the character at all.

They have never been able to write for Noah and that’s too bad keep writing for the old and the listless I have no faith in the new writers!

This is a ridiculous move. Matt Clark should be the first one ushered to the exit door–it seems like keeping him around is done to give yet another storyline for Phyllis. Sienna ought to be written out, but Noah Newman is a main character the writers never developed into someone who clearly wanted to be a black sheep, not part of the Newman corporation. Art teacher? There’s something unique. Was hoping to see Audra in the Noah mix. I wonder what’s next– Christian leaving for school in Europe? Maybe he’ll join Reed… and Katie and Johnny. UGGGH on what this show has done with younger cast members just to give the same old boring stories to actors who’ve been on the show too long.

Wish I didn’t see this coming from the beginning. Just grateful they didn’t attempt a Nick/Sienna/Noah storyline, which is how I thought this story would begin and end

I’m hoping the new writers bring a very good murder mystery. A serial murder mystery would be great. I don’t want to see romance. I don’t want to see gratuitous sex scenes that GIDDENS seems to want to throw on all of his shows.

Just give us a good murder, mystery, serial murder, like the edge of night style or even the loving murders that is my hope

Eric Braeden should retire….killing off Victor could be storyline, if written well, that could last over a year in time. Everyone in Genoa City would be a suspect, everyone has a reason to have his life come to an end.

I totally agree. Bearden needs to go away.

He was an absolutely atrocious Noah. They really dropped the ball by letting Rory Gibson get away.

I liked Lucas as Noah. I don’t want them to recast him. Noah has already been recast way too many times. I always hoped they would break up and he would get with someone his own age. The 2nd time they’ve had Noah leave with a girlfriend.

I liked Lucas as Noah. I don’t want them to recast him. Noah has already been recast way too many times. I always hoped they would break up and he would get with someone his own age. The 2nd time they’ve had Noah leave with a girlfriend. Sienna paired with Nick might be interesting.

I am glad Noah and Seiena are being ” written ” off. They are boring…both do not have personalities and do not
” click” together…

I predicted this maybe someday writers will come in and want to write for the younger group

Noah Newman is to Y&R as Kevin Reilly Buchanan was to OLTL.

But at least the last Kevin stuck and came back for the series finale.

Tamara Braun looks old enough to be his mother. She should be replaced with a little younger actress.

She’s only 24 year older than him, but who gives a shit.

Actually she is 22 years older than him. They had zero chemistry together.

That storyline, amongst other bad storylines, was part of the reason I stopped watching. I read that they wrapped up Jack’s storyline without any scene with Traci going face-to-face with her ex…just that it’s over. Maybe Josh was given an order to simply wrap up his crap as quickly as possible. Guess Nikki got her sight back, Patty and the nutty psychiatrist are in jail, and now Noah and his Oedipus complex girlfriend were sent packing as well. Just need to see the new head writers names in the credits, and maybe things will get better.

Agreed

It’s about time they are being written off. They have no chemistry between them. They aren’t interesting at all. I’m a 50 years watcher of Y& R.

I’m surprised, but they never really caught on. Maybe if they hadn’t paired Noah up with Sienna it would have worked.

So glad they’re leaving the show !! Such an odd coupling ! But to leave the Shadow Room now for Danny to run it ! Hoping we won’t be seeing much of that !!

They’ve never been able to write for the character of Noah no matter who is playing him. I just hope both actors find work elsewhere whether it be on another soap or some other genre.

Hard to watch these 2 become lovers after mother/son on DOOL. I wish Y&R would do better by Noah Newman. Hard to accept a “new” Noah all the time. What a waste of people.

This show is so boring lately, so boring. I tape it and can watch it in 8 minutes. Same old , same old, same old story lines. Do the writers have no imagination? A preschooler has more imagination and can tell a better story than these writers.

Thank goodness they hired new writers recently! This storyline goes back to Josh Griffith, not a fan

I still can’t believe they are making Matt Clark a good guy after he tortured Nick and Sharon for years. You younger people don’t know the half of what he did..in fact you probably wasn’t even born yet!

That is one of my biggest issues with Josh Griffith. He’s canonizing Matt, and Victor goes along with everything? Not the Victor we all grew up with, he’d have the guy killed. But instead, come move onto the ranch and work for me, okay?

Do these characters learn nothing from their constant “taking the law into their own hands” mentality? Seems like the writers do not know how to come up with a storyline and bring it to life in creative and unique ways. Oh, what Bill Bell must be thinking.

I didn’t buy their relationship, Sienna was clearly too old for this young guy supposedly in the late 20’s? It should have been approached as a May-December romance and go onto another storyline.

Why can’t they just still play from LA?

Bring them back

May they never darken Days’ doorstep again. YawneR ruined them, they’d forever be known as the incestuous mother/son.

Yes why would they have mother and son on Days, and then bring them to Y&R as a couple, disgusting if you ask me just my opinion

Get rid of Mariah please!!!!!

I absolutely agree. My friends wanted to see Tessa end up with Daniel. Mariah is just a character that is beyond burnt out, totally annoying, and has been so “blah” that she really has nothing more to offer on that show.

Lynn– the list is much deeper than that. Too many characters from 30 or more years ago that are always “front and center” just makes for dull writing and duller viewing. Has no one ever heard of “short-term” contracts? Or, maybe I just made that up? Bill Bell knew how to work with a cast of characters, when to give them top-tier stories and then when to put them on the backburner. He aso knew how to bring meaningful social issues into stories and fully explore them. Lastly, things took place ONSCREEN– there’s so much plot that takes place (rather never takes place) and we only hear about it as an after-thought. MISSING TIME is a crime in creative writing.

Casting them as lovers was sickening as watching them as mother &son before. Thanks for writing them off the show.

Hate to see them go but want Daniel and Tessa together!! Please keep

Love the new Matt!! Keep him this way!!

Keep Mariah but give her to someone else and let Daniel go back to Tessa!!please!!

The new writers appear to have a plan as to what to discard which is good. Josh Griffith toward the end raided characters from the past and brought them back even if it didn’t make sense. Sienna and Noah didn’t make sense. Noah Newman as a character doesn’t make sense. He is still an aimless legacy character with no set career goals. As for Sienna, she was a former ? old enough to be Noah’s mother. Hopefully, Matt Clark is the next exit. Roger Horwich is a powerhouse actor. He should have been hired as a new character. Instead the viewers are being asked to accept a reformed psychopath who only months earlier was trying to burn several Newman’s alive. Good Luck.

The new writers appear to have a plan as to what to discard which is good.

Considered they just began their positions this week (material is not going to air until this autumn), how do we know what their supposed plan is?

Scott, I am sure when they interviewed for the job and before they were chosen they had to give their ideas as to how they would improve the show. Or maybe it the executive producer clearing the decks like last hired first fired. I hate to see any actor or actress lose their job but judging from the comments on this board, the characters do not seem to be working out with the longtime audience.

I don’t want to see the new Noah and Tamara leave The Young And The Restless. I love to see them on there. It has been nice to see different people’s on there. So I hope they stay on The Young and The Restless on there .

Not a regular viewer for many years but tuned in one day when they were on. It’s a shame that no writers have ever known what to do with Noah. He’s Victor Newman’s grandson, for cripe’s sake and should be every bit as important to the show as the other core family members. Some writer needs to give this character a real identity. While I can’t judge the actor based on one viewing, he seemed as adequate as anyone else on that particular episode. As for Sienna, like WOW. Never saw her before, but she is a natural actress, far better than some who have been on this warhorse forever. Excited to tune in more regularly and see if the new writers can sustain my interest.

GH and OLTL Alum Patrick J. Gibbons Reveals the Story Behind Writing Trina’s Song on ‘General Hospital’ (Exclusive)

Published

By

Patrick J. Gibbons

At the conclusion of today’s August 21 episode of General Hospital, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) sings a lullaby to baby Dez, that went into a montage to close out the episode as her father Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reports to Pentonville and winds up in his jail cell.

However, in a fun fact, the song entitled, “A Lonely Heart To Give” was actually written by none other than former One Life to Live and General Hospital actor, Patrick J. Gibbons.

Daytime fans first met Gibbons as Sam Manning on One Life to Live. At the time, when he started on the soap, he was just 5-years-old. Gibbons played the part from 2010-2013 on ABC and Prospect Park’s editions of the show. Fast-forward to 2018, Gibbons shows up on General Hospital as Wyatt Hoover, the scout who seemed always be injured, but in the thick of the drama. Patrick had appeared on GH multiple times as Wyatt including: 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023.

FROM HIS GRANDMOTHER’S DEATH CAME THE INSPIRATION FOR HIS SONG

Now in 2026, General Hospital fans are getting to learn about another side of Gibbons’ talent as a songwriter and guitar player after “A Lonely Heart to Give” debuted today! Michael Fairman TV caught up with Patrick, who is now a senior at Penn State entering his final year as a finance major, to get the back-story of how his song wound up on GH!

Gibbons explained he wrote the song in honor of his grandmother who passed away a few years ago with whom he was, very, very close with. “Randomly, my grandmother had a downfall and passed away during the second semester of my sophomore year. I was in my dorm a lot and I was just playing with my guitar. And at the time, I was really into finger-style playing. I wrote the lyric and music to it (with a little help from my guitar teacher Lou), and my mom showed the rough demo to Frank Valentini (EP, General Hospital). He’s like an uncle to me. Frank loved it so much he said, “Finish that up. I want to hear the whole thing, and I want it on the show.”

MAKING MUSIC FOR GENERAL HOSPITAL

Gibbons and his parents took the next steps! “So now, all we needed was a female voice, because I thought that would fit the song well,” Patrick shared. “At the golf club we go to my parents were at a dinner. They liked the singer that was performing and spoke to her about the song, and she says she would like to bring it to her ‘boss’ who ended up being Eric Bazilian of the Hooters fame!” (Bazilian also wrote the smash hit song “One of Us” for Joan Osborne).

Next, “We went in the studio and recorded it and the song came together and it was beautiful. We loved it. They loved it at General Hospital and now they’re putting it the show and they are coming in with a piano, instead of a guitar. Paul Glass, the GH musical director, has been keeping us updated over the last six months of how it was coming along, and when it would air, and how GH put their own arrangement to it. I can’t wait to see and hear what they did with it.”

PATRICK’S ONE LIFE TO LIVE FAMILY

Everyone knows that the One Life to Live extended family share a very tight bond, and Patrick said he does stay in touch with a few of his former One Life to Live co-stars, especially those from the Manning family! “I stayed in touch with Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair) and sent her little videos here and there. She was like my second mom for five years. We keep in contact with Kristen Alderson (ex-Starr) over X the most, and she can’t believe how big I’ve gotten. Like, none of them can! (laughs). I also loved working with Roger Howarth (ex-Todd) and Trevor St. John (ex-Todd and Victor Jr.), and to me since I was so young, they were just my friends, ‘Roger and Trevor,’ not Todd Manning or Victor Jr.”

It was a trip to California and a visit to Port Charles that ultimately led to Gibbons second soap role of Wyatt Hoover. Patrick explains, “In 2016, Frank Valentini invited us out to Los Angeles to visit the set of General Hospital. I think he heard me say, ‘This is so much fun. I miss being on the set.’ He goes, ‘You should come out. I’ll bring you on the show. We can make you a character.'”

A few years later, Patrick’s dream became a reality! “Then, by the summer of 2018, I was playing Wyatt, the scout, and shared scenes with Wes Ramsey (Peter August), and the best was when I shared a scene with Roger Howarth and Michael Easton (ex-John, OLTL and ex-Silas, Finn et al, GH), it was like chemistry from the old days.”

Photo: PGibbons

IT’S ALL IN THE NUMBERS

As to his future aspirations, it’s a career in the finance game that has piqued Gibbons’ real-life interest. But never say never to a return to acting. Patrick explained, “I’ve always enjoyed numbers. And on top of that, one of the biggest parts of finance is being personable and outgoing.”

He continued, “That’s one of the greatest skills I developed growing up. I really love the markets. I’m super interested. I’m never going to close the door to acting. I’m always open to that because I just love it so much. It’s such a great art.”

Take note! If there are any investment bankers or private equity folks among the GH faithful looking for a young analyst next year, Patrick’s DMs are open. You can find him on X at @PatrickJGibbons.

So, what did you think of the song sung by Trina on today’s GH that was written by Patrick J. Gibbons? Did you enjoy Patrick’s performances as One Life’s Sam and GH’s Wyatt? Would you like to see him back on GH at some point? Let us know via the comment section.

‘Guiding Light’s’ Grant Aleksander Shares Heartfelt Remembrance of TV Daughter, Hayden Panettiere On What Would Have Been Her 37th Birthday

Published

The tragic death of Hayden Panettiere last Sunday on August 21 continues to rock the entertainment world as her passing is still under investigation. Sadly, the former Guiding Light and Nashville star, died just days before her 37th birthday.

Now Grant Aleksander who played her on-screen father, Phillip Spaulding on Guiding Light a role he played on and off for nearly 30 years,  shared a touching tribute with The Locher Room via Instagram, to his former TV daughter on her birthday on Friday, August 21.

It was back in 1996-2000 that Panettiere played the role of Phillip and Beth’s (Beth Chamberlin) daughter, Lizzie Spaulding. When Hayden was on-screen her performances were outstanding even as a little girl.

Photo: CBS

Aleksander began, When I think of Hayden the first image that comes is of her running down the hall in the studio with a huge, toothy grin on her face. Literally bursting with joy. And that’s what she gave to us. Pure, infectious joy. That and a talent that belied her years.”

“She was a natural with an instinctive understanding of acting that most adult actors can only dream of possessing. But that’s not what I’ll remember most about her. It’s that sunshine she brought to all of us that were lucky enough to be in her orbit that will stay with me, expressed Grant.

He concluded with, “I’ll always cherish the years I got to be her tv Dad. I wish I could have seen her one more time just to tell her how proud I was of her. She’s left us way too soon. We can only hope that she’s finally found the peace that eluded her in her short life. Rest in peace Princess!”

Michael Fairman TV previously shared emotional tributes from many of Hayden’s co-stars here, plus Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GH and ex-Avery, Nashville) who wrote a beautiful tribute to his former co-star.

So, do you remember the scenes between a young Lizzie and Phillip on Guiding Light? What did you think of Grant Aleksander’s words? Let us know via the comment section below. Here’s just a sampling below, of how great Hayden was with her scene partner, Grant.
