On Thursday, The Young and the Restless paid a special tribute to one of their favorite sons, Billy Miller. The actor who passed away on September 15th at the age of 43, was honored by the long-running CBS soap opera at the end of today’s episode.

Y&R shared on social media, “To end today’s episode we paid tribute to a greatly missed member of the Y&R family. Billy Miller will forever be in our hearts.”

Miller, who played Billy Abbott from 2008-2014 and won three Daytime Emmys for the role, was remembered with four photos from his time in Genoa City and as part of the legacy of Y&R.

Since his passing, many of his co-stars from both The Young and the Restless and General Hospital have shared their grief and remembrances including: Y&R’s Jess Walton, Eric Braeden, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Eileen Davidson, Jason Thompson, Finola Hughes and more.

Following Miller’s departure from Y&R, he joined General Hospital to take over the role of Jason Morgan/Drew Cain from 2014-2019.  Billy started his daytime career on All My Children as Richie Novack in 2007.

The pics they showed reminded us of how gorgeous and talented he was.
Such a terrible loss.
RIP Billy Miller

This was very touching.

Couldn’t believe that steve and bradford were back all bright eyed and smiley with no mention at all of Billy. This speaks a thousand words!!

Huh?

Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson on their Podcast.I was really surprised that they didn’t have the grace to even mention him.

Yes I’m going to say it he deserved more than 11 seconds . Well loved. And a brilliant actor

The episode would have already been completed, edited and delivered to the network. So they really only could stick in something very short. Often in those cases it’s just a single photo, so to find a few clips and put them together was special. And, to be fair, he hasn’t actually been on the show in years. It was kind of them to do anything at all. But all those realities aside, I would have loved to have seen more too. I wish he was still on our screens, I wish he and no one else ever had to suffer from that horrible mental-health disease. May he rest in peace.

He was so adorable. I’m still in shock.

I loved his character of Billy Abbot. I could just tell that he was a down to earth kind of guy in real life just by watching him. I know you will be missed by all your friends and family . RIP BILLY❤️❤️

So handsome. Gone too soon.

I was surprised to see it. I wasn’t ready for it. I thought it was very nice. RIP

I don’t watch Y&R but came here to say I wonder if GH will do the same? I certainly hope so!

It took them 3 months to do it for Sonya Eddy, but it would be nice.

If you are even thinking of suicide you have to know tomorrow is another day. Even when things swing low, they have to swing back… you will have more great moments… Why give up? Live another day, replace bad times with a better memory… Life in a human’s general timeline is so brief, why not live your best life because of it…

Was too short.

I too agree this tribute was way too little. 10 sec. Could of been much more. He was such a great actor deserves more. I was upset with Y&R.

Ryan Paevey Makes Statement on Why He is Stepping Back from Acting While Being ‘Grateful to General Hospital for Giving a Green Actor a Chance’ and ‘Hallmark for Changing My Life’

GH and Hallmark fan favorite, Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan West) wanted to clear the air after numerous reports and rumors had him quitting acting altogether and what that meant for any future projects in Hollywood he may have had planned.

Paevey released an exclusive statement to Heavy.com where he shared what is going on in his life. Back on June 19th, Ryan deactivated his Twitter and Facebook accounts and he may have deactivated his Instagram account on Friday as well, or as of this writing.

For Ryan, the decision to change his current life’s trajectory came after a series of events; chief among them moving closer to home to take care of his ailing mother who is battling lung cancer and social media scammers.

Here is what Ryan shared: “Hey everyone…so first and foremost, I am a bit apprehensive that I even have to make a statement like this. I am certainly accustomed to a certain degree of gossip, but the past few weeks in particular have gotten out of control with speculation from third parties that have taken my words and expanded upon them to meet their narrative, or flat out misrepresented my words or misconstrued their meaning. I have always been an open book, and one who speaks his mind truthfully and directly, and it is unfortunate that we live in a world where social media makes it very easy to twist one’s words; I am often unaware it is even happening until someone from my team messages me in a panic, and so I feel it best to make a formal statement through HEAVY.”

Eric Braeden Comes to the Defense of His Y&R Co-Stars Over Racist Attack on Social Media

The mighty Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) has spoken! The iconic star of The Young and the Restless has taken to social media in defense of three of his co-stars who were the subjects of yet another case of racist remarks on performers working on daytime television and the soaps.

The offensive remarks were made against Christel Khalil (Lily), Sean Dominic (Nate) and Bryton James (Devon). However, this same poster was also in the middle of the firestorm from previously posted hateful and racist comments directed at another Black actress, General Hospital’s Tabyana Ali (Trina).

As daytime fans know, earlier this week, General Hospital responded to the attacks on Ali with a message on all of their social media accounts that said, “General Hospital does not tolerate hatred or bigotry of any kind. Racism has no place in Port Charles. GH is for everyone.”

Photo: JPI

So, how did Eric get involved in this latest racist attack? Former GH guest star, Yvette Nicole Brown tagged the Genoa City legend to get someone’s attention from The Young and the Restless, and who better than the often outspoken Braeden?

The vile racist comments will not be written and repeated her. That post from May 31st, contained an image of all three Y&R actors, shared by @ghyrbbfan1974 using hateful rhetoric aimed at the stars.

When Braeden saw the truly awful remarks from the poster, he responded back, “These three actors are dear colleagues of mine; they have more class than you LOW LIFE can imagine! We are going to block your racist ass, you got that, bitch??!!”

Eric’s response went viral and “Victor Newman” was even trending on X, as Y&R viewers know that one of Victor’s often used phrases is, “You got that?” Since the time of the racist attack, it appears that the originator of these comments has changed the settings on her own X account to private, so only her followers can see her posts.

So, what do you think about this latest racist attack aimed at three stars from The Young and the Restless, and Eric standing up to the hatred? Comment below.
