The Young and the Restless Preview: Ashley’s New Alter Emerges
As promised, viewers of CBS’ The Young and the Restless are about to get a third alter of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). So far, we have met Ms. Abbott and Ash, and next week, circle Wednesday’s April 24th episode of the top-rated soap as a new side of Ashley emerges.
In a preview for next week (see bel0w), Ashley’s new alter is at a bar with a lot of lipstick, and a southern accent. Who could this be? What will be her name? What does she represent? Stay tuned.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, Davidson shared on tackling Ashley’s DID storyline, “They’re all vastly different from one another. If I walk by the TV, and I happen to be on, I absolutely know who it is just by the way she’s looking”. The two-time Daytime Emmy-winner added, “It takes a lot of concentration.”

While on the Wednesday April 24th episode shares a new side of Ashley emerging, it also teases that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) attempts to make a deal with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), while Kyle (Michael Mealor) makes a shocking discovery.
Then. on the Friday, April 25th episode Traci meets Ashley’s newest alter. What will Traci’s reaction be? Will it set off more alarms that Ashley really needs some deep, deep psychological help ASAP?
Check out next week on Y&R below and them give us your first impression of Ashley’s new alter via the comment section.
I love Eileen Davidson, but this is too much! A ripoff of her DOOL storyline, but this time with alters!
I wholeheartedly agree!! This is a ridiculous DOD portrayal. Davidson is good, the story is no good! DOD results from severe trauma not a broken heart. Rape, incest, seeing someone brutally killed, ect. The end of her & Tucker wouldn’t do it!!!
This is the same exact story she did when she was on Days. Are they just trying to come up with more different personalities?
This is why nobody under 75 yo watches soap operas anymore.
These “alter” storylines are out of control. As someone who works in Psychiatry, I can tell you, I’ve only seen 1 person who has documented alters in 5 years out of thousands and thousands of patients.
Folks, this is just entertainment, fake. Yes alot of us are smart enough to know that some of the things that happen on y&r are probably only 10%plausible and can say “this is what I would do or is that person (acting)really so blind they can’t see what is happening? It is all for our entertainment and enjoyment. I have watched since the beginning and yes it has changed abit for the worse but there are times when it becomes exciting enough that you want to tune in the next day to see what happens and there are times when you think OMG I am not watching this anymore but we always do even if we have missed it for a few days. Keep it up Y&R. Really enjoy watching.
Y&R was normally the soap that was most grounded to reality. Every once in a blue moon, Bill Bell would go outside the boundaries, but most of his stories were character and family based. And it was always pretty good. Can’t draw much of a similarity between his work and this nonsense that CBS passes off as Y&R, because it’s not similar at all. Y&R is turning into just another show, written by hacks, who don’t know how to write.
How many amnesia patients or mothers who had babies switched at birth have you seen? Just another soap trope- whether or not it’s done right is another story.
Eileen is a SUPERSTAR!! —never boring. —unlike the Jordan “saga”—I hope this soon ends with Claire doing something heroic and thus, shut Summer’s mouth once and for all—
I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!! Summer was annoying before the kidnapping, but is insufferable now! YES, let them find Claire SOON and end Summer’s nonsensical rants! It isn’t helping her portfolio as an actress! Also Eileen deserves a better storyline! I thought it was going to be one that brought to light the frustrations of being involved with a Gaslighter, hence exposing Tucker’s alter ego, but NOOOO, it takes a turn that makes ASHLEY the one with issues!! Who are the writers, 13 year old MISOGYNISTS?!!!
Eileen D. is one of my faves, but this DID storyline, although a very serious and important subject, is starting to be more than I tune in for. It’s actually tediously long and drawn out. She’s a GREAT actress, and I really admire her talent, but PLEASEEEE can they wrap it up already?!!!
Oh my it’s awful and is Sharon case off contract
She’s probably off enjoying herself and not going through the tedium that the rest of the cast are enduring.

‘General Hospital’s’ Alum Haley Pullos Stars in Lifetime’s ‘The Dating App Nightmare’
Haley Pullos (ex-Molly-Lansing Davis, General Hospital) will be seen in the upcoming Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) thriller, The Dating App Nightmare which drops next week on Thursday, May 7 at 8pm ET/7pm CT.
The Lifetime movie marks the first acting role for Pullos since being able to resume her acting career, following her 2023 DUI car crash when she collided head-on with another vehicle where both drivers suffered injuries and has been serving out five years of probation following her April 2024 plea and three-month jail sentence.
Soap fans know Pullos best as Molly, the daughter of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric Lansing’s (Ric Hears). Haley played the role from 2009-2023. The part is currently played by Kristen Vaganos.

DATING APP GONE WRONG
Now, focusing on getting back to her career, in The Dating App Nightmare, the story centers around a single mom named Kate who signs up for a dating app with her daughter Sarah (Pullos) hoping it will turn into a bonding moment. However, things quickly deteriorate. Sarah goes MIA after a date with someone she met on the app. That launches Kate to launch her own search for her Sarah.
Others in the cast include: Nicky Whelan who plays Kate. The Dating App Nightmare also features Charisma Carpenter, Brennan Mejia, and Nikolas Elrifi. The film was directed by Glenn Ciano and written Jackie Moore and Daniel West.
For the last several years GH fans had been concerned for Haley. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office initially charged Pullos with two felony counts of DUI and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run. Under a plea agreement, she pleaded no contest to one felony count of DUI causing injury, and the remaining charges were dismissed.

UPDATE ON HALEY’S LEGAL CASE
According to Pasadena Now in a summation of Pullos legal issues as of January 2026, “Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Terry Smerling sentenced Pullos in July 2024 to five years probation, 200 hours of community service, a nine-month alcohol treatment program, and a mental health treatment program. She was also ordered to pay $8,260 in restitution to the other driver and prohibited from driving for one year.
The other driver, Courteney Wilder, was initially in critical condition and later filed a civil lawsuit against Pullos seeking damages. Wilder reached a settlement of more than $1 million with No Comment Lounge, a Pasadena establishment where Pullos had allegedly worked, in October 2025. Pullos remains a defendant in the civil lawsuit.”
Haley has been acting since she was a child having worked in film, TV and commercials. In 2008, she landed a guest starring role Ghost Whisperer, followed by Knight Rider and Saving Grace before becoming GH’s Molly. Along the way, Pullos was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the now defunct Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series back in 2015.
So happy to hear that Haley is back working as an actress and landed a role in the upcoming Lifetime thriller, The Dating App Nightmare? Share you thoughts in the comment section.

‘General Hospital’s’ Giovanni Mazza Performs Aladdin’s ‘A Whole New World’ Ahead of Monday’s Crossover with Michael James Scott
Ahead of Monday’s third part of the crossover event between General Hospital and the Broadway musical Aladdin, featuring Michael James Scott’s (Genie) appearance in Port Charles, the ABC and GH social media team has released a montage of Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) in the Big Apple complete with Giovanni Mazza’s own rendition on the violin and the guitar, no less, of Aladdin’s signature song, “A Whole New World.”
Michael James Scott, who in story, knew Gio when the young man played violin in the orchestra pit of Aladdin, is set to perform at Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) Savoy nightclub on the May 4 episode.
In a preview of Scott’s performance, Mazza said in an interview with On the Red Carpet, “That guy has the most energy I’ve ever seen out of anybody. It was nuts to see him on Broadway and then when he came to ‘GH,’ he did a fantastic performance. He did a new, cool rendition of ‘Friend Like Me,’ and I think fans are really gonna enjoy it because it’s really cool to see a performance like that on ‘GH.'”

Meanwhile over this weekend, General Hospital is once again showcasing the musical talents of Giovanni Mazza, who is a classically trained violinist and who has performed multiple times on the soap opera. In addition, most recently, Mazza brought his talents to the LA Lakers playoff game half time show, with his rendition on the violin of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal,” and now the beloved song from Aladdin.
Viewers also first learned Mazza played guitar, when he accompanied Tabyana Ali as Trina during an open mic night scene at the reopening of Charlie’s on GH. Now, he plays once again in his version of “A Whole New World.”
It appears that GH has found one of the young couples that viewers are gravitating towards in Gio and Emma. Braedyn Bruner shared on Emma and Gio with On the Red Carpet: “I think we’re just growing in love. Like I feel we are constantly taking the next step and leveling up in our relationship.”
Check out Gio’s rendition of A Whole New World below.
Now let us know, are you a fan of the Emma and Gio relationship? What do you think about the multi-talents of Giovanni Mazza? Interested in seeing Michael James Scott sing on Monday at the Savoy? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

‘General Hospital’s’ Chris McKenna On Jack’s Reaction to Carly Cheating On Him with Valentin: ‘Heartbreak and Absolute Rage and Humiliation’
The stage is set for next week on General Hospital, after yesterday’s May 1 cliffhanger, when Brennan (Chris McKenna) sneaks into Carly’s (Laura Wright) house and heads up to her bedroom, bursts in the door and finds her between the sheets, albeit at that moment alone.
However, Jack is already armed with plenty of ammo, he saw two glasses of wine in Carly’s kitchen, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) already lit the fire, by telling him her mother was seeing someone else, the WSB bureau chief then went to visit Carly’s ex, Sonny (Maurice Benard). The mobster’s reaction pretty much sold Jack that Carly must be sleeping with another man.
As Jack goes to check out the situation to confirm his suspicions, Carly and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) have just hit the sheets, after fighting their attraction once again for each other. Now comes the moment of truth that Carly has been sleeping with Brennan’s sworn enemy, Valentin.

In a preview of what’s to come, Soap Opera Digest spoke to both Chris McKenna and Laura Wright where they talked about the upcoming scenes. McKenna expressed, “This has been coming for such a long time.” He also previews, “Brennan comes at her pretty aggressively.”
THREE’S COMPANY
Wright added, “Carly didn’t expect Brennan to walk into her bedroom! He doesn’t have a key. It’s late at night. She thinks she and Valentin are in the clear. She sees that he’s so angry and so worried about being cheated on… but not that he’s sorry for lying to her face or because her daughter is in danger because of him!”
As to how Jack will handle the situation from here and finding out that Carly is with Valentin, McKenna confirms, to expect, “heartbreak and absolute rage and humiliation” from Jack. He’s thinking, ‘This can’t be real. This can’t have happened. I can’t be this stupid. I can’t have been this blind.’ And as to Jack’s current state of mind, coming into the situation, “Jack is drunk and a little unhinged and the audience finally gets a glimpse of what’s going on underneath that rigid exterior.”
Needless to say, the fallout will be huge, and McKenna is proud of the trios work in the scenes, sharing that Laura Wright was a fantastic as ever, and that GH’s executive producer, Frank Valentini was on the set the entire time with Laura, James and him, making this story point play out to its full effect.
So, are you excited to see how what goes down between Brennan, Carly and Valentin and the fallout? Do you think this will cement Carly and Valentin as a couple, or will Carly regret what she’s done to Jack? Weigh-in on how you hope this all plays out via the comment section below.
