THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Preview: Jack and Patty Under the Influence Hit the Sheets as Victor Ups His Plan
Many fans of The Young and the Restless have been outraged since last Friday’s March 13 cliffhanger which found Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) seemingly drugged and under the influence a drift in Lake Michigan on a yacht that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has set in motion.
Patty is making all the moves on Jack and taking advantage of him and they wind up in the bed. Making this scene all the more disturbing is the knowledge that Jack is an addict, who has suffered with issues with pills before and Patty is one of the most heinous character’s from Jack’s past brought back by Victor once again. He previously paid for her to plastic surgery to return to town as Mary Jane Benson back in 2009 as Patty with a new face to gaslight Jack.
It’s clear Victor is behind all of this because on Friday when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) voiced her concerns of what he did to Jack over the battle for Chancellor and to get his company back he bellowed at his wife, that Jack is alright.

Weigh-in! Are you upset by how far Victor has gone to get Jack out of the way? Now Jack is drugged, he sicced Patty Williams on him, with his wife, Diane about to catch them together and more? Should Victor pay for what he’s done to Jack this time? Share your thoughts via the comment section.
Gross is about all I can say about Patty and Jack. And why was Cane in Phyllis’ office writing a letter and talking to himself? Was the train set in storage or something? I love you Y and R but sometimes I wonder what you’re thinking.
Sick storyline . If it was guy doing that to a woman – everyone would lose their minds.
A yacht in the middle of Lake Michigan in early March? Are none of these writers from the Midwest?
The Cane scenes are so boring.
I will say it again: this show is a train out of control and there’s no conductor! CBS, why???!!!
So if Monday’s show is any indication how bad the writing is on Y&R, they are in the toilet. Victoria sees no issues with daddy kidnapping her former step-father Jack?? Totally normal??? Traci Abbott doesn’t get upset with Nicki’s news that Victor kidnapped Jack?? Instead, she makes tea for her and Nicki, and they nicely discuss the issue??? WHAT WHAT WHAT?? What is wrong with these people??? Traci Abbott needed to have Nicki take her to Victor, and beat the hell out of him. Oh Jack will be ok, and Victor would NEVER do anything to hurt Jack…..are these people nuts??? If Nicki had told Ashley, that’s would have happened, but since it’s Traci, she’ll just brush it off?? We won’t even go down the road with Diane’s reaction and Jack not getting a word in to explain things. How can anyone there respect Josh Griffith for this?
The whole show is stupid. The riders must have come up against a wall. These Epis.Odes with jack on the boat with patty are just too dumb.. Everyone should stop watching it for at least a month. Maybe they will straighten the story out.
I replied & it went away. I just think the storyline is stupid and boring. Maybe the writers have hit a wall. Everyone stop watching for a couple weeks. Maybe this story will straighten out.
To top it all off Victor has Traci’s daughter Colleen’s heart .
