THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Preview: Matt Clark’s Revenge Plot Begins; Which Duos Will Ring in 2026?
Next week, Y&R finishes off 2025 and rings in 2026 with some heavy duty drama and romantic entanglements which offer a glimpse of what viewers can expect in the New Year.
First, as previewed in the “Next week on Y&R” video teaser, Holden (Nathan Owens) asks Claire (Hayley Erin) if they could have a real date and ring in 2026 together. Claire coyly answers, “I think that could be arranged… under one condition.” The question is, what is the condition, and does it have to do with Audra (Zuleyka Silver)?
Before the clock strikes twelves, will Cane (Billy Flynn) and Lily (Christel Khalil) ring in the new year together? During a moment in the preview, Cane says, “I was just going to spend New Year’s Eve alone. There’s no one else I’d rather be with.” Can Lily get over herself and over what she saw between Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Cane, and truly spend some quality time with her ex-husband and the father of her children?

Then in a highly-tense moment, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has called a meeting with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who has snuck back into Genoa City. Nick says, “I was wondering if you had the guts to show up.” A smug Matt replies, “Oh, I wouldn’t miss this little party for all the world.”
But as the week begins, Noah (Lucas Adams) is concerned for Sienna’s (Tamara Braun) safety and whereabouts as Matt’s plan begins to reveal itself, and by week’s end, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) might just take their relationship to another level, while as previously reported Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is dealing with seeing visions of Ian Ward (Ray Wise).
Programming note: Y&R will air an encore presentation of a classic episode the originally aired September 10, 1998 which features iconic rivals, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Jill Foster Abbott (Jess Walton). Now below, take a look at the Y&R spoilers for the week of December 29-January 2.
Monday, December 29
Nick calls Matt Clark’s bluff, Phyllis gives Jack an unexpected gift, and Noah worries about Sienna’s safety.

Friday, January 2, 2026
Victor and Nick plot against Matt Clark, Daniel makes a promise to Tessa, and Mariah is haunted by Ian Ward.
Now below check out the “Next Week on Y&R” video teaser.
Then let us know, are you looking forward to what twisted revenge plot Matt has in store for the Newmans and his wife? Do you hope Lily and Cane and Holden and Claire ring in the new year together … and what about Daniel and Tessa? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section.
The only show I’m looking forward to is the New Years Day episode from the 1990’s. Bill Bell knew how to write. Bill Bell’s scripts made sense. Ian Ward returns, who really cares.
I am rooting for Holden and Claire! I want Kyle and Claire to move on from each other.
Agreed
I would like to see Claire and Holden ring in the new year. I also would like Tessa and Mariah
to get back together
General Hospital
GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: A Shocking Turn Events with Drew Could Spell Curtains for Nina and Willow!

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, everything points to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) emerging from the water able to talk (which we already know he can after Friday’s cliffhanger) and walk, but will it come to fruition?
According to the just released ABC promo for the week of July 27-July 31, several women in Port Charles are in for a shock, but is it Drew coming for payback to Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)?
First, in the video preview, after pushing a wheelchair-bound Drew into the lake at the Quartermaine boathouse, Nina looks mortified for what she’s done. She apparently goes to her new beau Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for help. We hear Jack say to Nina, “You pushed Drew’s wheelchair into the lake?” A freaked out Nina begs Jack to. “help me cover this up!”

PANIC CITY

Suddenly, we see a moment of a stunned Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) at the hospital, Trina (Tabyana Ali) on edge at the Metro Court pool, and Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) coming to her grandmother Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house and standing tn the doorway stunned, calling out, “Dad!”
Last and certainly not least, Willow is down on the floor of the Cain living room in the dark and is startled, As she turns what seems most likely towards the door, what does she see? Is Drew back in action? Stay tuned.

This week on all-new episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, viewers will learn the upshot of the relationship between Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace) and Will and Dylan (Sydney Bullock). Last Friday’s cliffhanger saw Will giving in to Dylan’s seduction as she tries to “comfort” him from his latest break-up with Electra, thanks to the Forresters, no less.

According to the official B&B spoilers below, Electra will draw a firm line over Dylan’s relationship with Will.
Meanwhile, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is becoming more obsessed with trying to process why Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is blocking her from being in her son and grandson’s life. Clearly, she’s not remembering all the terror she brought to Steffy. But by the end of the week, will Finn (Tanner Novlan) have once again softened towards his mother as much as he told Steffy he would stand firm and keep her away from their family?

Are you sick of Sheila being obsessed with trying to get back into the good graces of Steffy and Finn, after all of her heinous crimes, or do you want Finn to cut her some slack, so the next round of her terror could begin? THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Preview: Phyllis Helps Matt to Freedom, Nick Has a Setback, Cane Gets His Shot at Love with Lily

Next week on The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that: Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tries to deal with her seeming new reality of being blind, when things take yet another unexpected turn. Will Nikki get her sight back in full and it was only temporary blindness post-procedure? Can she and Victor (Eric Braeden) finally put everything behind them and be happy with each other once again? Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is itching for pills as his addiction is not under control, and after seeing Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Matt (Roger Howarth) kissing, it sent him over the edge. Can he control his dependency? Doesn’t look like it especially by the end of next week.
Speaking of Phyllis and Matt, in the Y&R video teaser for the action on episodes airing July 27 – July 31, Phyllis has somehow pulled the ankle monitor off of Matt’s ankle. “We did it. We got it off. You’re free as a bird,” proclaims Phyllis.

PHYLLIS KNOWS HOW NICK FEELS ABOUT MATT, BUT IT SEEMS SHE WON’T PUT ON THE BRAKES
Now comes the question; without having Victor’s monitoring system in place, will Matt hightail it out of Genoa City… or stay put and continue to test this potential romance with Phyllis,? If so, Matt could certainly, amnesia or no amneisa, get under Nick’s skin in the worst and most lethal way.
Elsewhere, Cane (Billy Flynn) is feeling the renewed interest from his ex-wife Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). In the Y&R video teaser, he says to her, “You made me CEO of Chancellor, and now you’ve invited me over. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were starting to like me.” Lily coyly gives a smile, but clearly a potential rendezvous may be forthcoming. Is a “Lane” reunion in the works … finally?
Then, Abby is back when Melissa Ordway makes a return to the CBS soap opera. Daniel (Michael Graziadei) comes upon Abby and says, “You look like you could use a friend. Settle for me?” Recently, Devon’s (Bryton James) mood swings have caused trouble in her relationship and she breaks down in tears. Abby and Daniel once were an item. If Devon found out that Daniel was there to comfort Abby, would he have another mood swing and take it out on Abby or Daniel?
Take a look at the official Y&R spoilers for the week of July 27-31 below.
Monday, July 27
Victor holds Adam and Chelsea accountable for actions, Billy and Sally keep secrets from each other, and Audra celebrates a win.
Tuesday, July 28
The walls close in on Nikki as she struggles with her condition.
Wednesday, July 29
Nikki’s health takes an unexpected turn, Billy gives Adam the third degree, and things heat up between Cane and Lily.
Thursday, July 30
Phyllis and Matt toast to their future, Lily sets boundaries with Cane, and Abby confides in Daniel.
Friday, July 31
Victor and Nikki agree to a fresh start, Matt Clark tries to make amends with Sienna, and Sharon tells Noah about Nick’s setback.
Check out the Y&R video sneak peek for the action next week in Genoa City below.
Now weigh-in: What do you think will happen with the state of Nikki’s eyesight and her relationship with Victor? Do you want Cane and Lily back together? Are you down with Phyllis and Matt as a couple, or do you want them to end now, especially because Phyllis seems to have no respect for her past with Nick in this instance.
