This week on The Young and the Restless, as it’s clear Carter (Vincent Stalba) has become a killer and will do anything for his boss, Cane (Billy Flynn), more people will become collateral damage before Cane lets everyone out of the French Riviera.

In the video preview for upcoming episodes, a cornered Carter has taken Lily (Christel Khalil) hostage while Cane and Chance (Conner Floyd) try to reason with him to put the gun down, but Carter tells Cane, “How can I make it worse? It was all for you! And now you want to lock me up? I’ll find my way out of here.” In a subsequent conversation, Cane is talking with Amanda (Mishael Morgan) where she says, “The bodies will be taken to the coroners office.”

Next, most of the guests come to the realization that their phone service has been restored so they can get the hell out of the maze, and train cars that Cane has subjected everyone too. Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) reconnect, after Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) try to save his life after he was shot.

Carter is an idiot! So embarrassing

This has to be the worst written story in the history of Y and R. Seriously, isn’t there someone that oversees and can do something about the foolishness that has aired the last few months. (Using DVR with fast forward) especially the last three weeks on the train.

It seemed inevitable that the “butler” is the one whodunit. As many had stated earlier, the premise to the storyline was promising, but many weeks later, it really went nowhere interesting. Had Damien’s death been faked, it could have added an interesting element. Had Cane been only pretending to be Dumas would make it even more interesting–having Cane team up with Tucker.

On another note, I really took offense to Victor (and other characters) calling Carter a freak several times while he was standing there. It could have been handled better.

Can’t believe this show spent the month of July on this nonsense. Waste of good talent and a waste of time.

Why does Josh Griffin think viewers just LOVE to see their characters trapped and tormented? Why does Josh Griffin think viewers just LOVE to hear the same conversations being heard over and over again? For instance, how many times must we hear Billy tell Jack that he doesn’t believe in him? Or Jack tell Billy that he needs to grow up? Billy is in his fifties now but we’re still left to believe his huevos have not dropped yet.

I remember when Ed Scott came back on board, some thought he might be able to fix what Josh Griffith had destroyed. But alas, Scott has departed Y&R last month, and the show wanders aimlessly to nowhere, with Griffith in charge, and nobody to make any sense of anything any longer. Y&R is a pile of garbage.

Seriously?!?! Seriously?!?!?! This is what Y&R delivers? A story that strains belief and is without any genuine suspense or emotional payoff. The nerdy minor character is the baddie? Oh, come on! The promise of glamor quickly faded into whiny entitled characters (Newmans!), boring conversations (Amanda Sinclair, I am talking to you!), and silly twists (Cane flies to Genoa City and back in a day! Adam Newman climbs a mountain and turns around and leaves the same day!). And disappointments. Nothing seems worthwhile to remember going forth. Just as we wasted time through that Sharon & Phyllis captivity storyline. The campy Aunt Jordan drama. So much rewriting of history. It is time to shake it up behind the curtain, find someone who understands the core and the mission of this series, and maybe make some tough decisions about characters and plotlines.

Ok, this show is so bad and I can’t invest time anymore – Done!

The WSB agent is on her own mission to find out how the supposed return of ‘Nathan West’ is mixed up in Faison’s final project, and what happened to Anna Devane, who claims she saw Faison, but was apparently gaslighted by Cullum and company.

In the latest ABC promo for the daytime drama series, Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) voice is also heard exclaiming about Josslyn, “She’s not just some ditzy sorority girl. Lucas (Van Hansis) is seen talking to Carly who admits she had sex with someone else behind Brennan’s back, but he is worried about blow back for his sister, especially when he says, “What, exactly, will Brennan do if he finds out you are cheating on him?”

As the promo comes to and end, an angry Jack is about to stampede into a room, cut to Carly worried and sitting up in bed. Is he on his way to confront Carly? Will she be alone or with Valentin? Or is it all a red-herring?

The preview also features Curtis (Donnell Turner) pointing the finger at Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) as the person who caused the accident that injured Jordan (Tanisha Harper). But, is Curtis barking up the wrong tree, if the driver was Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) or someone else?
