THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Preview: What Has Sharon Done? How Will She Get Out of It?
Next week on The Young and the Restless, it is truly the week of Sharon Case, as not only by week’s end do we get her 30th anniversary standalone episode as Sharon Collins, but even before that, Sharon is driven to do something horrific, as it appears in the video teaser for the top-rated soap opera (see below).
By this week’s Friday cliffhanger, she is already holed up in a seedy hotel talking to her dark side in the form of the dead Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), who keeps egging her on to do something to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and all her pain and suffering will stop.
In the preview for the week of episodes airing September 23-28th, Sharon tells Cameron, “Daniel was hurt. He was bleeding in my nightmare.” Cameron says, “And only you can make your dreams come true.” Then we cut to another scene where it appears Sharon is outside in the dark and she cries,“How did this happen? How am I ever going to get out of this?”

So what did Sharon exactly do? In Michael Fairman TV’s recent livestream interview with Case on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel, she said there are twist and turns the audience will not expect, sharing. “There’ll be different circumstances that will come up, different people and characters, and it wildly shifts. So, you think you know what’s happening right now? Well, good for you. Keep watching.”

Does this mean that Sharon may have taken the life of someone other than her seeming target, Daniel? By week’s end, Sharon is in massive trouble and then comes her Y&R anniversary episode. Case teased, “This is a whole show about Sharon. I think that it is pretty much only me in the episode with some flashbacks. What happens in it though is that the story that’s told within that episode ties into what we are currently telling. You’re not going to get disconnected. It’s not disjointed and or takes you out of the big storyline.”
Sharon’s storyline harkens all the way back to the emotional and life-changing moment in her life, that of the death of her young daughter Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes), who passed away back in 2005. Now, will Sharon take revenge on Daniel who she holds responsible for her daughter’s death, since Cassie went behind the wheel when she shouldn’t have to drive a drunk Daniel home? A story beat that played out recently saw Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s daughter, Faith (Reylynn Caster), and Daniel and Heather’s (Vail Bloom) daughter, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), wind up in a car accident that was reminiscent of the situation for Cassie that further sent Sharon down this path of revenge, almost 20 years later.

Check out the “Next on Y&R” teaser and our 30th anniversary conversation with Sharon Case below it.
Now let us know, what is your theory? Does Sharon try to kill Daniel? Does someone else get hurt by mistake? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
God, give us a break! Haven’t we gad enough Sharon the past few weeks, trying to destroy everyone, including herself. She knows she’s having a problem, why not see her Dr. before hurting another one of her kids or Nick, which she could never recover from.
JG lives to destroy her character last time she burned the ranch down . Case is a trooper she plays the hell out of it . I have my doubts anyone will die . Ashley ended in a dud. We just don’t have any new idea don’t blame the actors they just are their it’s a pay check
I wonder if Sharon is leaving the show. Is this why the PTB are destroying the character?
As for the character of Nick he just screws somebody else it’s his memo the character has never grown he just is the same frat spoiled brat . I wasn’t watching but didn’t he kill Victorias last husband and Victor cover it up but hey that’s ok Sharon is the problem why she would want this punk that screwed the mother if the woman whose son caused her death frankly I’m all in if she kills all of that bunch. I have enjoyed Cameron saying all the shit I have thought for years poor Nick vomit inducing.
Hey, Violet—Yes, it’s getting redundant—However, Sharon Case was amazing today. She deserves a double award for her dramatic scenes. Her portrayal of a mentally disturbed person with homicidal inclinations was so “en pointe”. —-so believable —impressive!!
I just want a way to keep that sexy ass man Linden on screen
Lucy will drink the booze but she will survive! I was crying with laughter Cameron’s one liners you can tell the actor is having a blast calling her a dumb blonde too much. Been fun now back to boredom talk about who is ri bing what company . Yawn
I fast forward all of this with Sharon. Can’t stand how evil Victor has become. Kindly forgive the negative reviews. Still enjoy watching most before retiring each evening.
Yep Friday is my last day to watch just nonsense yes she would have gotten help but on it goes if Sharon is not crazy she is pouring coffee can’t win. But let’s be honest are any characters exciting does anyone make you want to tune in I mean Phyllis wears evening clothes and slings her arms around I mean it’s just nothing and they get paid for this . So you ask yourself who is the problem I guess it is like a train wreck you keep watching ! Who is the dummy here
Don’t know if this is legit but someone told me this is all in Sharon’s head none of this is happening.
If this is not in her head not happening I truly do not know how the character comes back from this. Oh well
I can relate I suffer with Bipolar among other things.I love this story. It is so exciting.

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, danger lurks for Josslyn (Eden McCoy) after her nosying around puts her right in the path of Cassius (Ryan Paevey). In the latest ABC promo for the daytime drama series, Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) voice is also heard exclaiming about Josslyn, “She’s not just some ditzy sorority girl. Lucas (Van Hansis) is seen talking to Carly who admits she had sex with someone else behind Brennan’s back, but he is worried about blow back for his sister, especially when he says, “What, exactly, will Brennan do if he finds out you are cheating on him?”
As the promo comes to and end, an angry Jack is about to stampede into a room, cut to Carly worried and sitting up in bed. Is he on his way to confront Carly? Will she be alone or with Valentin? Or is it all a red-herring?
The preview also features Curtis (Donnell Turner) pointing the finger at Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) as the person who caused the accident that injured Jordan (Tanisha Harper). But, is Curtis barking up the wrong tree, if the driver was Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) or someone else?
