The Young and the Restless Previews Lauralee Bell’s 40th Anniversary Episode as Christie
Over the weekend, CBS and The Young and the Restless have dropped this week’s promo featuring the standalone episode honoring 40 years of Christine in Genoa City, and of course, her portrayer, Lauralee Bell.
Be sure to tune-in on Thursday, November 2nd, when the top-rated soap opera looks back at some of the highlights of Christine’s story, plus where she is at today, especially after she and Paul have decided to end their marriage. At a major crossroads, what will this legal eagle decide to do next with her life?
Throughout the special hour, look for Christine to have encounters and discussions with the likes of: Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Nina (Tricia Cast), Esther (Kate Linder), and Danny (Michael Damian). Who will have the biggest influence on her, ultimately?

Lauralee Bell commented and shared on the promo for her big 4-0: “Thursday’s Y&R will be filled with past clips with some of my favorite people but it will also be a bit different, mixed with a lot of present day! AND you get to see me say “Bite Me” one more time. Hope you’ll tune on Thursday! So grateful for our viewers! Some who have been along for the ride since Jabot Junior! Appreciate you!”
The daughter of Y&R co-creators, Bill Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, Lauralee, began playing the role of Cricket Blair back in the summer of 1983. She stayed on-contract with the show through 2005. Since that time, Lauralee has appeared on a recurring status with the CBS soap.

As is Y&R folklore, as time went on Cricket matured from a teen model into a legal aid lawyer. The character dropped the moniker “Cricket”, especially after her rival Phyllis turned it into an insult by calling her “the Bug”, and from then on, she has gone by the name of “Christine”.
Check out the promo for Thursday’s Christine-centric episode of The Young and the Restless. Then let us know, what has been your favorite and least favorite Christine story through the years via the comment section.

The show is so boring with few exceptions and I’ll definitely pass on this because the Christine character is a snore Yandr needs a real alignment
I totally agree. Christine has always been my least favourite character – can’t imagine an entire hour of her.
Those were some good days everybody does realize that she was Bill Bell’s daughter ?? Of course there was nepotism involved hey she doesn’t bug lol me as much as Brad who has totally ruined Bold! She always knew her lines and I have never felt she took advantage of the situation so let her have her day in the sun
I think she more than proved herself
Really looking forward to this episode
Always loved Cricket and all her heroine stories. Phillip,Danny,Nina, Michael, Paul, Isabella, Phyliss .
Shes classic!!!!
Also really looking forward to a day off from the very non sensual Newman, Abbott and Tucker crap
Give me Cricket ,Danny , Nina, Michael and Lauren any day
I like this. Wonder if any clips will feature Doug Davidson?
I liked Lauralee/Christine over the years and thought her SLs were good and appropriate. She was good with Danny, Michael and Paul and I don’t find her talent any less than some of the bimbos they’ve had on there. All these people that love Michelle Stafford, is she any better because she can play the mean bitch so well?
Love The Bug
Another anniversary show for an actor who has not appeared for all practical purposes for at least 8 years. That sham of a Phyllis death story that went not where, she had a little bit of air time. And the break up of a marriage that hasn’t been shown since they day they wed. Like “Michael” and “Esther” who had anniversary shows – we are reminded of what the show used to be like when the writers wrote and there were sets.

It’s a major week on General Hospital, and in the just released ABC promo for the action in and out of Port Charles, a major return, a baby on the way, and a displaced congressman coming back to life are at its epicenter. Let’s take a look!
In episodes airing July 13-17, first, Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) is seen at the Metro Court pool trying to get justice for Jason! “My dad’s in prison because he covered for Rocco,” exclaims the teenager.
Next, we cut to Jason (Steve Burton) himself, who is thrown into a dark cell by a guard. It’s the first we have seen of two-time Daytime Emmy-winner, Steve Burton since his on-screen departure back in March. What has happened to Jason?

Next, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is about to watch the domino effect of all her misdeeds and machinations come back to bite her. Now that Sidwell is in police custody, she has no way to gain access to the paralytic drug she has been using for months to keep her husband Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a locked-in state, unable to speak or move.
WILLOW IS LOSING CONTROL OF DREW
However, Drew is seen and he can finally move his hands and his feet and is moving around in his wheelchair. Then, Willow is seen beginning to freak out sharing, “We won’t be able to control Drew much longer!” Is Drew finally coming to get his comeuppance? What will be his first move against Willow, once he can walk and talk?
Finally, the promo comes to its conclusion, and Portia (Brooke Kerr) has suddenly gone into labor and she’s all alone! Will Curtis (Donnell Turner) or Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) show up in time or someone else to help her deliver her baby? Will there be medical complications that could derail the birth of her child? Stay tuned.
In addition, you can check out the full list of official GH spoilers for the week here.
Now let us know, will Jason be released from his imprisonment pronto thanks to Josslyn’s deal with Z, or suffer some more? Do you hope Drew gets payback on Willow? And who do you think will help deliver Portia’s baby? Weigh-in via the comment section below, but first check out “The Clock is Ticking” latest GH promo.
