THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Adam Delivers Sally’s Baby as Billy Reels from Jill’s Health Crisis in Tearjerker Episode

The Tuesday, October 20 episode saw The Young and the Restless deliver some deeply-poignant moments in the aftermath of Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally’s (Courtney Hope) wedding.
The scenes which will be talked about for some time to come, because of how they can impact longterm story, had Adam (Mark Grossman) being the one to deliver Billy and Sally’s baby, while Billy was gut-punched by a phone call from Snapper Foster that Jill had suffered a heart attack in London.
In story, while up in Sally’s room at the GCAC, wishing his ex all the happiness, (because Adam and Billy have no love lost, and he didn’t want to cause waves), Sally’s water broke. In true soapy fashion, all phones were dead. Sally’s phone was missing because it was with Audra (Zuleyka Silver), Adam’s battery ran out etc. Prior to that, Adam did try to call Billy, but Billy did not pick up his calls, as he was with Cane (Billy Flynn) coming to terms with the news on Jill.

TORN BETWEEN RUNNING TO HIS MOTHER OR HIS NEW WIFE AND BABY
Now in the perfect storm of circumstances, Adam is the one to help Sally deliver her baby when she begged him to stay with er screaming, “Please don’t make me do this alone!” Adam reminded Sally that he’d already delivered a baby twice before. She assured him that it will be OK, and not to be scared, because this isn’t the same set of circumstances when she lost their daughter, Ava, during childbirth.
Downstairs, Billy is in tears over his mother. So too is Cane. Cane speaks to Jill on the phone when Snapper holds the phone to her while at her hospital bed. He tells her he loves her. Billy cannot bring himself to talk to his mom.
Cane decides he will go to London. Billy doesn’t know what to do with a new wife and a baby on the way. It’s clear how much losing Jill would devastate Billy. Cane tells Lily (Christel Khalil) what has happened to Jill, and Billy informs Jack (Peter Bergman) before he tries to find his bride who is upstairs in her room.

A NEW ABBOTT
Back in Sally’s room, eventually Adam asks Sally (who is deep in labor), if she thought she was having a girl or boy, and she said a boy. But then, Adam introduced her to her “beautiful, perfect baby girl.” It was a moment laced with so much history for Adam and Sally and Adam and Billy, when you think of the deaths of Ava and Deliah.
As Sally cradled her newborn little bundle of joy, Adam went to go get Billy at her request, and as he made his way to the door, Billy was standing there. Billy is stunned to see his rival standing, but then Sally tells Billy to meet his daughter!
Billy rushes to the bedside to be my his new wife and daughter, with the heartbreaking final shot of Adam emotionally overcome thinking of the baby he has lost with Sally. and how he wishes things could have turned out differently in a bittersweet moment.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Finn Blows a Gasket After Steffy Reveals She’s Gone Ahead and Become Carter and Daphne’s Surrogate

On the Monday, October 19 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, after Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) stammering around and trying to find a way to couch her lie to her husband, Finn (Tanner Novlan), she finally admits what she has been dreading telling him.
But not before, Finn and Steffy rehash Monaco, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), and how it was turning point in their lives (that’s an understatement) with Finn reiterating, “Our marriage is precious. What we have is pure and true.”
Finn promises Sheila is out of their lives for good, and Steffy chokes back tears saying how she wished she hadn’t removed her ring and hightailed it out of Monaco. She says she wishes she could take that back, but she can’t.

Steffy tells Finn she has a lot to say. Finn tells her there is nothing they can’t overcome. Steffy says she made a significant decision while he was away. She goes to to say what a great friend Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) has been to her. Finn asks if Daphne and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are still interviewing to find a surrogate? Steffy says they found someone and the process has begun, and its “me.”
Finn gulps, “What do you mean it’s you?” Steffy eeks out of her mouth, “I agreed to be Daphne and Carter’s surrogate.” Finn, who is a doctor no less says, “I don’t understand!” He explains he knows there is a list of medical and legal hurdles someone has to go through before a woman can become a surrogate for a couple. He also tells Steffy he knows she could never carry a child and give it up.
Next, Finn tells Steffy she’s wonderful for considering to do this for Carter and Daphne, but she’ll have to tell them no. Steffy says it’s too late. That while he was out of town they went ahead with the procedure. Finn asks, “What procedure?” Steffy responds, “The fertilization of the eggs.” Finn learns they used Steffy’s frozen eggs and did the implantation and loses it!
“I can’t believe you went and did that! This isn’t something a wife does when their husband is out of town on a business trip,” hollers Finn. He cannot believe what he is hearing and that his wife just went and did this without him! He pushes back on Steffy. demanding answers, “There’s more going on here. What is it? Steffy? Tell me!” We fade to black.
You can check out the pivotal scene between Finn and Steffy below.
Now weigh-in: are you glad Finn is as of now not being a doofus? That he is pushy back on Steffy? Do you think Steffy will continue with this lie or admit she slept with Carter and became pregnant? Either way, would Finn stay with his wife while she became a surrogate for Carter and Daphne? Let us know in the comment section.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Katie Stands Up to Brooke, ‘I Have Spent My Entire Life Sacrificing My Happiness for Yours. But No More!’

On Thursday, October 15 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Heather Tom continues to rack up scenes for her 2027 Daytime Emmy reel after Katie lays the smackdown on Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) in a boiling over point in their sisterly feud.
In story, Brooke has learned that Zende (Delon de Metz) has defected from Forrester Creations and come to work for Katie at warring fashion house Logan. After she confronts her sister, for what Brooke views as another betrayal, Katie shows that she will no longer be stepped on and over by her sister.
During the argument, Katie points out (and we are glad that she did), that Brooke previously disowned her from the family. She told Katie she was no longer welcome at the Forrester mansion and along with their sister, Donna (Jennifer Gareis), kicked her to the curb.

KATIE WON’T BACK DOWN
Fast-forward to yesterday’s B&B, and here was the pointed dialog delivered by Katie to Brooke: “I’m not going to apologize for Logan’s success. I’m not going to apologize for building a company and a brand practically overnight. And if Forrester is really on the ropes, then maybe you should look internally at how you’re treating your talent,” says Katie. She adds, “Sounds to me like you’re not running a very good business. Because that’s what this is, Brooke. It’s business.”
Brooke fires back, “No, Katie. This is more than business. This is a personal vendetta against me, and it’s gone too far. I don’t like looking at you and thinking that I don’t know my sister. I don’t like that feeling. What about you? Don’t you want this war to end?”
Appalled, Katie tells Brooke, “You want to end the war? You want to stop fighting and come together as sisters, right? You want to stop fighting and come together as sisters, right? Where have I heard those words?”
TOSSING A LOGAN OUT OF THE FAMILY
Just then, Katie reminds Brooke she came to set things right with her months ago only to be thrown out of the family. Katie tells Brooke, “Oh, yeah. I remember I said them to you the night you told me that I was no longer your family … that I was no longer your sister.”
A defiant Katie tells off Brooke, “You barge in. You’re ranting about Zende and how I’m attacking Forrester or attacking you. Well, how many times have you attacked me? Huh? I don’t have to take this anymore. I don’t have to be victim to your emotional manipulation. I have spent my entire life sacrificing my happiness for yours. But no more!”
As Brooke is left reeling and in tears, Katie delivers the final blow to their relationship as they knew it. “You think that I should talk Hope (Annika Noelle) and Zende into going back to Forrester? Why should I do that? I’m not giving them up. I’m not giving up on Zende. I’m not giving up Hope. I’m not giving up my name. I am not backing down. Are you listening to me, Brooke? Are you hearing me? Because I will never back down!”
You can catch the aforementioned scene featuring Heather Tom and Katherine Kelly Lang below.
Now weigh-in: Do you feel Katie is completely justified in everything she said to Brooke? Do you want Katie to crumble the dysfunctional house of Forrester Creations? Should Heather Tom just get ready for another Emmy come next year, and heck, she might even win this year, since she is nominated for a completely different storyline for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmys Awards, which would make her the winningest daytime actress of all-time! THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Brooke Confronts Katie On Her Vendetta Against Her and Claims, ‘It Breaks My Heart’

The feud between the Logan sisters continues to escalate after Katie (Heather Tom) once again gain another employee acquisition from a former disgruntled Forrester Creations designer.
During the October 14 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Zende (Delon de Metz) along with Dylan (Sydney Bullock) show up at Logan. Zende informs a stunned Hope (Annika Noelle), Katie, Will (Crew Morrow) and Deke (Harrison Cone), that he quit Forrester and would like to join them. Katie and Hope are thrilled. Will is more impressed than ever with Dylan.
Back at Forrester Creations, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) walks into the CEO office where Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) inform her that Zende quit and has gone to work for Katie. The three of them realize things are changing within their company because of Katie, but refuse to look at their part in their own implosion!

BROOKE VS. KATIE ROUND 10
Now angered, Brooke hightails it to Logan to confront her sister. Ready for Brooke to come at her, she tells her sister that she offered Zende an opportunity and he took it. He was being under-valued at Forrester.
Brooke fires back that Katie lied to him, just like she did to Hope. She claims Katie is trying to build Forrester 2.o to spite her! Katie is not deterred by Brooke. She tells her sister to look around – that this is what she and Hope are doing – building a new company.
Continuing on her rant, Brooke says she feels stabbed in the back by her own sister, and her daughter hasn’t help with that feeling. Hope just stands there. Brooke tells Katie that they are truly suffering over at Forrester. Business is not good. She demands, “It has to stop!”
Katie snarks back that this is just business. However, Brooke throws down on her sister, arguing that this is a personal vendetta against her. “It’s revenge,” declares Brooke, and, “It breaks my heart.”
But, does it truly break Brooke’s heart? Is she just saying that to save Forrester from losing any more design talent to Logan? Do you hope Katie pays Brooke back for going after Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) years ago and always talking down to her?
Now, let us know via the comment section how you want the sisterly feud to come to a conclusion. Do you want Katie to successfully take down Brooke and Forrester Creations … or Brooke to take down all of Katie’s hopes and dreams? Weigh-in!
