While Audra is causing trouble for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and she is about to get a taste of her own medicine, as Claire returns to her vengeful ways, actress Zuleyka Silver (Audra) is celebrating her three-year anniversary as part of the cast of The Young and the Restless.

Silver began taping all-new episodes of the top-rated soap opera back on August 12, 2022, and premiered on-air for the first time on September 22, 2022. Taking to her Instagram this week, Zuleyka marked the occasion with a photo montage and shared the special memories and her sentiments in the post.

“Exactly three years ago today, I filmed my first Y&R scene,” she began. “Where does time go?!! When I look back, I realize how much I’ve grown from that excited yet nervous woman who walked onto set that day—not knowing exactly what I was getting into. Still, I chose to rise to the occasion and gave it my all. Still do. I have learned so much along the way and wouldn’t trade this experience for anything!! So with all that being said—here’s a little Y&R dump to share and celebrate this moment with you all ”

Speaking on the antics and actions of her Genoa City alter-ego, Silver expressed to her fans, “I know Audra has y’all pulling your hair out right now (sometimes I want to yell at her, too). But not all is lost haha.”

In conclusion, Silver stated, “Truth is I really enjoy playing her and getting to know her more and more with every script. She’s so fun, flawed, but still has heart (somewhere deep down). I appreciate all your support for this bad girl! Happy 3 years to me salud!”

Taking to Zulekya’s comment thread in her post were several of her Y&R co-stars, then and now, who offered up their congratulations including: Courtney Hope (Sally) who said, “It’s a dream to have you as a friend on and off screen ,” plus Brytni Sarpy (ex-Elena), who added, “Happy anni boo boo! Miss you and the gang.”

So, what has been your favorite moment played by Zuleyka Silver during her run thus far on The Young and the Restless? Are you hoping Audra gets put in her place by Claire? Send your well-wishes and congrats, and thoughts in the comment section below.

Anyone think we will have another murder mystery ahead? Are Audra’s days numbered? There are many in Genoa City who would like to see her gone. Of course, all those who want to see here gone have killed others or thought they killed others before. Think how many people have died around the Newmans!

And does anyone understand why Cane Ashby had to pull that stunt in France? As with the plotline involving Ashley’s therapist twin and Tracie, and that endless (!) Sharon-Phyllis lockup, these turns of events make no sense or have lasting impact.

It can all be summed up by the writing of Josh Griffith. He thinks he has great ideas for storylines that go nowhere.

She rocks Y& R thank goodness for her or the show would be boringggggggggg. The storylines of the companies going after each other and Victor in the middle of it is so boringggggggggg.
Time after time say old thing. Come on Y/R you can do better.

The character is boring. One dimensional. Waste of talent. Yes, since Griffith has no idea what to do with her, she’s likely on the chopping block for a Fall who-dun-it.

Oh Joe that’s your opinon I have mine – I saying the actress is awesome, my family knows here, she good person. She ‘s having fun not matter what Griffith is doing and she’s not worried about him.

The problem is she is presented as an intelligent and savvy business woman who has stupidly allowed herself to be played by Victor two times leading viewers to believe she is dumber than a stone.

What’s next—Victoria and Nate as a couple??

Hey there, CeeCeeGirl! Long time no “see!” Glad you still make your presence known here now and then….I have been looking for your comments which seem quite few and far between as of late. I still fondly recall our wild, wonderful and witty GH posts from years ago! Those were the days, “mia amica!” Hope all is well with you and yours!

ARE SOAP MORE RELEVANT IN 2026?

With the daytime soaps being mentioned in the mainstream of late, including a recent New York Times essay, Ryan Gosling’s high praise of Days of Our Lives icon Deidre Hall (Marlena), Late night host, John Oliver asking to be cast on a soap after doing a bit on his show, it seems daytime drama may be culturally relevant again, or is it really?

During the chat not only will we get Sheri’s takes on all the series she wrote for, but also ask, “Why soaps? Why now?” Why are audiences rediscovering/missing emotionally-connected storytelling? What did our genre provide viewers emotionally? And what has current programming gained technically but lost emotionally?

Join us with your comments and questions for Sheri in the live chat, as we talk the pros and cons of today’s daytime soap opera and daytime television landscape and delve into Sheri’s soap writing history and the characters she created or had a penchant for and learn about her new endeavors and outside projects.

A BITTERSWEET GOODBYE

Along with the following heartfelt words, Elia also taped a “final bow” to punctuate her time on the beloved soap opera. She wrote, “As I say goodbye to Days of Our Lives, I’m excited and looking forward to the next chapter. Leaving DAYS is bittersweet, but I step away full of gratitude and joy for what’s ahead.”

Speaking on playing the daughter of legacy character, such as Marcus Hunter, Cantu added, “Its been an honor. She is bold, layered, and I’ll forever cherish bringing her to life. She remains a staple in Salem and I’ll carry everything she taught me as I go. Jada, you will always be my girl.”

‘Property Brothers’ Franchise Star Jonathan Scott to Host New Daytime Talk Show in Development for 2027

There looks to be a new entrant in the daytime talk arena after four shows in the genre announced their departures this year. Jonathan Scott, one of the stars of HGTV’s Property Brothers franchise, is now  developing a new syndicated daytime talk show with CBS Media Ventures.

The host, producer and construction contractor’s new daytime show has the working title of Better! With Jonathan Scott. According to Deadline, the pilot will be shot later this month and the project will be in consideration for CBS Media Venture’s syndication schedule for the fall 2027.

Better! With Jonathan Scott will feature interview segments with well-known guests and lifestyle experts. CBS Media Ventures is sharing that they hope the talker will “inspire audiences with fresh Ideas to live better, all while having fun doing it”.

CAN THIS DAYTIME TALK SHOW SUCCEED IN DWINDLING LANDSCAPE?

If the pilot goes gets a full series order, it will be the first syndicated daytime talk show to launch in four years. As previously reported, The Kelly Clarkson Show is ending due to Clarksons’ desire to end the show after 7 season. Sherri featuring Sherri Shepherd was canceled after its fourth season, and both The Steve Wilkos Show and Karamo are done after NBCUniversal made the decision to exit first-run syndication altogether.

Jonathan became popular along with his brother Drew who appear in the the Property Brothers franchise and Celebrity IOU. The two run Scott Brothers Global and Scott Brothers Entertainment, while also overseeing home brands including Scott Living and Drew & Jonathan Home.

If the series comes to daytime TV next year, they would join the same Paramount-owned syndicated division which produces and distributes series including The Drew Barrymore Show, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Hot Bench, Flip Side as well as the Judge Judy library.

So, it look like we may be going back to lifestyle daytime talk shows. Does that interest you? Remember when ABC was convinced “The Revolution” would do well when it replaced One Life to Live and only lasted six months? Let us know if you would tune-in to a Jonathan Scott daytime talk show via the comment section below.
