‘This Is Us’ Star Milo Ventimiglia to Appear in Season 4 of ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’

After speculation a few years back that at some point, Milo Ventimiglia would find his way onto the hit comedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, that would reunite him with his former Gilmore Girls boss, Amy Sherman-Palladino, now appears to be coming true!

News out of TV Line reports that Milo will guest star in season four of the series.  However, details of who he will play are being kept under wraps.

Ventimiglia will be the second cast member from This Is Us to appear on Maisel, following Sterling K. Brown who appeared in season 3.

The fourth season of the Amazon Prime series has been in production since January – after plenty of stops and starts due to Covid-19 and restrictions.

Gilmore Girl fans remember Ventimiglia as Jess Mariano, the troubled love interest of Rory Gilmore.

Ventimiglia will also wrap his time as Jack on This Is Us, when the show finishes its upcoming sixth and final season of the NBC drama.

So, what role do you think Milo might play on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.

As an original fan of GILMORE GIRLS, I wish MAISEL would be released on DVD so that people who can’t afford AMAZON PRIME could also see it. Loved Milo as Jess and now on THIS IS US. He gets more beautiful every year and adds a lot to his roles. I’m sure he’ll be successful here as well.

GH’s Avery Pohl on Esme’s Return: “She’s Using Her Time Wisely and Waiting For The Right Moment to Strike”

Next week, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) is back lurking around Port Charles.  When viewers last saw Esme, she went over the parapet at Wyndemere during a showdown with Ava (Maura West).

For months, GH fans have been eagerly awaiting to see just how and when Esme would return to get revenge, or find out what she is after.  From the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, it looks like the wait is over.

In dishing with SOD on her on-screen return, Pohl shared that Esme is, “essentially on the run.”  However, she adds, “Esme is aware of the circumstances she’s put herself in.  She is aware that people are going to to be after her.  She’s not dumb.”

Just what’s in store for Nikolas (Marcus Coloma), Ava, Trina (Tabyana Ali), Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) now that Esme is back?

As Esme’s plan begins to reveal itself, Pohl shares: “Before she goes right back into the thick of it, she scopes things out.  She’s using her time wisely and waiting for the right moment to strike.”

So, are you glad that finally Avery Pohl is back on GH as Esme? What do you hope happens next? Who do you think is Esme’s biological mother? Do you want her to get her comeuppance from the Cassadine clan and Trina? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Mishael Morgan Reveals Why She’s Taken ‘A Bit of a Step Back’ From Y&R and Gone on Recurring Status

This past June, we all celebrated the groundbreaking victory of The Young and the Restless‘ Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) as the first Black actress to ever win in the Lead Actress in a Drama Series category during the 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

In the months that followed, Mishael has not been seen as much on the top-rated CBS daytime drama, plus when fans noticed she was no longer in the opening main credits, it got them wondering just what is Morgan’s status with the show.

Finally today, via video on her Instagram story, Mishael shared some news after finishing her day of taping in Genoa City.

The Emmy-winner revealed she has indeed gone on recurring status with the show: “I just wrapped my last scenes back at Y&R, and I just wanted to let the cat out of the bag a little bit.  A lot of people have noticed that my name is not on the main credits anymore, and I wanted everybody to know that it was my decision.  I decided, actually, back in December, that I wanted to take a bit of a step back from the show.  I just felt like at this point in my life and this point in my career, I wanted to mix things up a little bit. But Y&R will always be home. I have so appreciated this safe place to land that they have given me, so I know that I can be back. They are like family to me, and coming back just reminds me of that.”

Morgan also thanked the loyal viewers and her followers expressing, “I’m so appreciative of you guys, and all the fans who have supported me along this Y&R journey. But I’m still on it, I’m still going to be recurring, so you’ll still catch me in Genoa City.”

The talented star ended with a tease of projects and roles to come, telling her fans to, “Keep looking out for new things.”

So will you miss not seeing Mishael as much on Y&R?  Are you exciting to see what roles and projects she gets involved with next? Are you glad she is still recurring with the show and will continue to make appearances in stories? Comment below.
