Those are teasers, not spoilers..
I know there are many who do not know the difference of teasers and spoilers..
Spoilers Tell What will happen and when, and the outcome….
Teases are nothing more than a description of the daily show; much like what TV guide would tell of the daily show for that day in the guide..
Teasers do not— tell what will happen/outcomes etc of stories..
There is a soap site that has a terrible time with what spoilers are and what tease promotions are, and people are scared to tell the promotion teasers, and they are meant to be told, they are a form of promotion…
and I am looking forward to another awesome week, the teasers tell me it will be a very good week and not to miss it 🙂

Victor and Todds storyline is what im most interested in…

Just watched today’s episode. I have decided to give AMC two months to work out their problems. AJ and Miranda are making the show unwatchable. All the other actors are wonderful and I like the story lines. I understand the need for bringing in young soap fans but as an older fan, the AJ and Miranda show is not what I want to watch. Aj’s cursing and shooting the finger is just too much. I really don’t mind a few curse words but it was way too much today. I really don’t see AMC lasting very long and it will be because of AJ and Miranda monopolizing the show. Young actors are inexperienced actors and they are taking over the entire show. So unless AMC can bring in young viewers to replace the older viewers….. Also they hop between too many story lines. I think because the shows don’t last as long, they can’t really get into the stories like they use to. I was disappointed with today’s episodes but will continue to watch for awhile to see if things get better.

Todays episode was a letdown…i can let pass some cursing but with it in todays episode and popping the finger seemed more like lets do it just because we can…it seems this is what the writers are most excited about doing instead of delivering good storylines! I can understand using younger characters to attract younger fans but at the same time these writers need not to push away their established fan base. I turn 30 May 25th…maybe im too old for this! I like younger characters and older ones just the same! Hopefully Adam, Brooke and Opal will get more to do instead of being props for the younger set. My 55 year old mother dont mind younger as well but feels too much focus on AJ and Miranda is ruining the show too!

I totally disagree. This is AMC. Jesse, Angie, Tad,, etc. , even Erica– started as teens. Keep it up Agnes, I love it!

I disagree. Like it or not that is how real teenagers speak. I am loving the new actors and i think the writing is more authentic.

Soaps are not suppose to be realistic! They never were! That’s what made them fun. Most people would never do these things! How many people have died & came back to life? Soaps are not reality shows!

I’m wondering if we are watching the same show? Miranda and AJ have not been monopolizing the whole show. All My Children has always had a focus on the younger set. Thus the title of the show. Just the younger set we grew up watching grew up,just like we did.

AMC is great! there is variety…
The vets are all in good stories, suspense and mystery..
Jesse and Zac are heading into an awesome story..
Jr and David’s story has just begun, too ..
There are very good stories for the vets and the new young of the cast are doing a good job and their stories all effect the vets..
All the stories have just started and looking forward to them to get into full swing!

I hate the cussing! I think it hurts the shows, because they will lose some of their audience if they keep it up. I love my shows, but I hate cursing. What’s next will they take God’s name in vain? All the reasons I love my shows they are taking away. I will have to stop watching them if this continues. I hope enough people say something so it will stop. It is totaling unnecessary, and it is a change that needs to go! We lived without it for a year, we don’t have to watch filth.

Watched today’s OLTL… I miss RC’s writing!!!

Let me change that to… really… really… really… miss RC’s writing!!!

Me too! Im still watching but im not addicted like before…that could change in the weeks ahead! Too soon to give up at this point…i do like it but it needs more drama, a little Roxy humor, and romance! Romance outside the bedroom all soaps need! Like when me and my husband take a picnic lunch and long walks at the beach!

It is not possible to have all that you want in the beginning; 5 shows, sheeshhhh ..

I finally seen both reboots…AMC seems like two seperate soaps…The Young and The Restless and the Old and the Still Beatiful. OLTL is the best of the two. Both lack addiction and i agree with my friend Kim that the cursing and more explicit love scenes do seem to be there just because they can do it without network cencorship and does seemed overused. But me and my friends will remain watchers hoping for more story improvement. Had Victor not return OLTL wouldve had problems, im just saying!

I have not watched but the New York Times gave both shows a scathing review with all my children really ridiculed. The reviewer said the acting was awful and the younger set was playing roles they were too old for. i feel all my children died ten years ago as it ran out of gas. I have no interest in starting up again when there are much better shows to watch and I mean non daytime soaps. I have not heard a single comment at the water cooler or in the neighborhood about these reboots. There is better entertainment out there folks.

Really? Instead of reading what some reporter at NYT who has probably never watched a single episode has to say,why not take 25 minutes out of your day. All My Children is better than it’s been in a decade.

I agree that reviewer came off as a moron who probably didn’t like either show in the first place.

So far I am loving both shows. Love the new Miranda, but not sure about AJ yet. The younger kids actually act like real life teenagers and not characters of father knows best teens. “Oh gee golly gee guys” is not life like and silly. I like the story of Miranda as this is really what teens of two moms or two dads put up with everyday in school. Whether it’s right or wrong, it’s life..

It’s a lifestyle choice for the parents but not the children, so it’s really refreshing to see how someones choices, any choices, really affect more than just them. I am looking forward to see how Miranda comes to terms with who her parents are, who she is, and how she really feels about that.

I think the younger cast so far are a great addition and I’m an old lady.

As far as teasers vs spoilers, I much prefer teasers. I think all the spoilers and soap magazines have really ruined the surprise of a cliffhanger and a must watch story line. I remember when I was a kid coming home from school and rushing to watch GH, and being excited about AMC when I was home sick. You never knew what was coming and it was great suspense.

I’m loving both of these shows, and so glad they’re back! Of course there are going to be differences from the televised versions, and it would be unrealistic to expect otherwise. I feel that there are enough familiar characters and stories to bring us right back to Pine Valley and Llanview, and I’m enjoying the journey!

I agree. I can’t believe how many are complaining when they should be happy just to have our shows back. They have been updated from the 70’s to the 21st century and are much more realistic to today than they ever were on T.V.

I am giving AMC and OLTL every chance to succeed. I know going in these are not the soaps I watched in ABC for decades. They cannot be.

I caught up on first week over this past weekend. I nearly cried seeing Opal. Love her. I also loved seeing Bianca in the form of Eden Riegel (a life favorite!), and of course, Brooke and a surprisingly docile Adam. I was surprised by my enjoyment and interest in the Celia storyline and am curious about who her guardian is. A private girls school is very Pine Valley! And the actress playing Celia is very interesting. I do expect some contemporary touches overall, such as the three-way pitch Miranda dodged and some language. Storyline is key and there is plenty I found riveting. I was not watching at the very start (January 1970) but I think the reboot is similar to the original in its concern for the children. Also, AMC 2.0 can get lots of mileage from mining five years we did not see.

Let’s keep tuning in! Rarely do we get second chnaces like this!

Gotta give them a chance, I’ll watch.. I don’t care how bad it gets. I know it’s better to have them and suffer thru growing pains, than to not have them.

I haven’t watched today’s episodes yet but why should they have growing pains??? There’s always a new show on prime time…we don’t “wait” to see it will get better! The writers of these soaps are supposedly experienced and should be able to tell a story and hold the viewer’s attention from the get-go…I would hope they caught up on both show’s histories…they should know how to write the characters without a blip.

I’ve posted this thought before but the whole “drawing a younger audience” is ridiculous. The fanbase that fought for these shows are the ages they are…they are the automatic demographic/numbers that these shows need to survive in the short run. if they lose us…I doubt they’re going to have “millions” on new viewers based on the finger and some random curse words thrown in to show how young and hip they are. LOL…people of all ages curse…you either do or you don’t. It doesn’t draw viewers…

Think of all the shows from the past…Friends, Seinfeld, Thirtysomething, Saturday Night Live, all the Vampire shows…they didn’t attract young viewers because they use certain words and give the finger.

These writers beter step up to the plate and start telling stories…not little meaningless segmants sewn together or even the most diehard fan is oging to close the book on their new “chapters…”

and…if I only knew how to edit or correct my typos I’d feel much better about my rant!!! LOL…so:

“wait to see IF it will get better…”

“of” new viewers

better not “beter”

going not “oging”

sigh.

I am trying to really keep an open mind – I am not quite as interested in the younger set but DO UNDERSTAND that they need to attract younger viewers. I am more of the age bracket of Dixie-Tad-Angie-Jesse so naturally, I am the most interested in those characters ~ I don’t want Adam and Brooke to just be set decorations, I’d like to see and hear some interesting and meaningful dialogue transpire between them. I don’t want Opal to just bake brownies and give them to Petey, I feel she deserves a storyline of her own. These are just my observations and comments, the “new” ALL MY CHILDREN will need time to grow and expand and I’m sure we all agree on that.

Mark Consuelos Celebrates One-Year Anniversary as Co-Host of ‘Live’ Alongside Kelly Ripa

Today, April 17th marks a full-year since Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) took over the co-hosting duties of ‘Live” alongside his wife, and longtime co-host, Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley, All My Children).

Consuelos replaced Ryan Seacrest who are six seasons decided to be back on the west coast full-time. For Consuelos, now having the opportunity to work off of Ripa as co-hosts has been something of adjustment for him, but viewers have been eating it up.

Live with Kelly and Mark has remained the No. 1 entertainment talk show on television over the past year, growing 3% in average total viewers to 2.23M per episode.  It is also the most-watched daytime talk show in the last year in key demos of women 18-49 and women 25-54. All of this, since the real-life marrieds teamed-up.

Speaking with Deadline, Kelly Ripa shared why the two are gelling on-screen, “I do think that there is something very possibly relatable about our relationship. We have disagreements like a normal couple, and we’re not afraid to let them unfold on the air and in front of America, and I think people find a lot of themselves in that.”

Mark weighed in how he has progressed as a host, and what he could improve at, sharing, “I’d like to get better at my interviewing skills. I’d like to get better at reading a teleprompter…I think I’m getting better at throwing to commercial. The other day in the middle of the show as we go to commercial, my sign off was ‘See you guys around.’ I mean, the show wasn’t over. The most obvious thing to say would be, ‘We’ll be back right after this.’ But I just said, ‘See you around.’ So we went to commercial and one of the producers (goes) ‘What was that?’ I don’t know… So for the next few sign offs, as a joke, I’d say ‘See you around.’ We got a kick out of it.”

Meanwhile, Kelly has given huge props to Mark, “I find Mark utterly compelling, really interesting, super funny, and he’s bold in a way like nobody else. He says what’s on his mind. If he’s thinking it, he says it.  I’ve done this a long time and oftentimes people will adjust their natural personalities to pander to what they think the audience wants to hear, and Mark will tell people what he thinks, and he doesn’t care if it’s not a popular opinion. It gives him an edginess that I think is really missing in the landscape today. Everybody’s so afraid to say anything, and Mark is unafraid to say exactly what he’s thinking.”

In a statement, Debra O’Connell, President News Group and Networks, Disney Entertainment shared, We could not be more thrilled with how Mark has seamlessly joined the show family as permanent co-host. His undeniable charisma and his and Kelly’s natural chemistry are evident as they deliver the laughs and smiles to our viewers each morning. We are incredibly proud of how Live has continued to evolve and that the audience is responding so enthusiastically.”

So, do you think Mark Consuelos is the best co-host his wife Kelly Ripa has ever had on ‘Live’? How would you say he is doing as co-host after one full year on the job? Comment below.

Jacob Young Shares Production Pic of Cast of His New Film Featuring Joan Collins and Nadia Bjorlin

Last month, during a livestream conversation on the Michael Fairman Channel, while promoting Jason Cook’s film, Four for Fun, and featuring soap notables Jacob Young (ex-AJ, AMC, ex-Lucky, GH, ex-Rick, B&B) and Brytni Sarpy (Y&R), Young revealed some intel on his upcoming movie project.

Jacob shared that he was set to direct, produce and star in a Agatha Christie-like murder mystery feature film, Murder Between Friends shooting in Prague.

The actor/director expressed, “I’m flying at the end of the March to Prague to direct, produce and star in a film with Joan Collins (ex-Dynasty). Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe, Days of our Lives) is in it, and Toby Alexander Smith from Eastenders (ex-Gray Atkins). Plus, a couple of my Broadway friends and a very well known Czech actress (Hana Vagnerova). It’s very ‘Knives Out’ without having a hundred million dollars to shoot it, but still will be a lovely film nonetheless.”

Young is currently shooting the film’s principal photography abroad through April 17th.

Over the weekend, Jacob took to his Instagram to share a photo with the cast of the film where pictured is former Dynasty star, Joan Collins (ex-Alexis) and former Days of our Lives star, Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe).
