THIS WEEK ON Y&R: Dylan Plans His Revenge On Joe And Tells Avery: "Your Ex Is Not Going To See Me Coming!"

Could this finally be a meaty story for Daytime Emmy winner Steve Burton (Dylan) on The Young and the Restless?
After months of story of a cementing the love story of Dylan and Avery (Jessica Collins), it looks like the number one sudser might be pulling them apart and giving Avery’s ex Joe (Scott Elrod) a shot at the legal eagle … or is that what is going on? This week in the new promo from CBS Daytime, Joe asks his ex-wife to please give him another chance and allow them to reconnect. When Joe doesn’t take Avery’s response as an acceptable answer, it seemed to perhaps spark former military man, Dylan McAvoy back into action!
Dylan looks to be hatching his own type of revenge plot against Joe. He tells Avery: “This dirtbag is after both of us, and I’m gonna put a stop to it tonight!  Later in a very threatening tone, Dylan says, “Your ex is not going to see me coming!”

51st Daytime Emmys: Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Receive Talk Show Host Nominations
On Thursday, nominations were announced in the Outstanding Talk Show category for the upcoming 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.Â
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) coming off his first-year as co-host of ‘Live” with real-life wife, Kelly Ripa scored his first Talk Show Host nomination along with Ripa who has been nominated previous times.
Joining Mark and Kelly in the race are: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, The View
Kelly Clarkson, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, Sheryl Underwood, The Talk and
Tamron Hall, Tamron Hall.

As previously reported, The Talk is coming to its end when its upcoming 15th and final season ends in December of 2024.
The 51st annual Daytime Emmys are slated to be broadcast and stream live on CBS and Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th
Look for the full list of nominations to drop on Friday morning at 12 noon ET/9 am PT.

51st Daytime Emmys: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Nominations
On Thursday, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards revealed nominations in several key categories via four entertainment news programs: Access Hollywood, E! News, Extra and Access Hollywood.
Three of the four announcements were major categories in the field of Daytime Dramas.
The nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category are: The Bay, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Neighbours and The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital won this category last year, and has the most all-time wins for a series in this category. For the first time, the beloved Australian-based soap opera, Neighbours is now eligible for competition due to its reboot which streams on Amazon Freevee.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out in ceremonies in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th.
Previous categories announced tonight via the entertainment news outlet included: Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.

Hope Joe and Avery reunite and in one episode decide to fly to Vegas and marry and live there… end of story. Ditto for other super boring storylines that mean nothing. Where are the fresh ideas? One of the biggest problems with this show of late (like several years) is that everyone is involved in each others’ stories. HEY WRITERS: take a cue from the 70s-90s stories, separate storylines that don’t have to intersect. Give characters things to say and do, not go to a bleepin’ cell phone in every single scene and then walk off-camera. I have never seen so many people occupy space to uselessly just because they’re given air time. Like others, I am on the verge of stepping away from viewing, and I have been watching since it began.

For what it is worth, I don’t think either Joe or Victor is responsible for Dylan’s beating. Personally, I hate this immature, recycled gimmick used by TPTB.
What I would love to see, is Y&R brought back to its heyday splendor.

Never did respond to this but will do so now. I would love to see the resumes of the current writing staff, wouldn’t you? I think the single biggest complaint I have is the way the characters talk but say nothing– just clever come-backs; is this what we have been reduced to as people? Is language no longer meaningful?

I thought Pratt said he was going to write more umbrella s/l’s so more actors interact under 1 story? I also think he likes writing disaster s/l’s like tornadoes. I’m not sure. Guess we will hang and see what’s to come.

He will completely undermine Bill Bell’s storytelling formula. I interviewed Bill in the late 70s at his Chicago home as part of my college creative writing program; in just a few visits with him, I learned a ton about writing stories for tv as well as his and Kay Alden’s approach to Y and R. Don’t know how long you’ve watched the show, but I’ve seen it since the beginning… Well, I live about an hour from the real Genoa City and a tornado story this spring would be logical! But, Bill’s goal was to always take major social issues (which his wife often provided) and educate while at the same time entertain: I think he did it splendidly with illiteracy and the character of Drucilla. I will hang in a while longer with you! R

I was hoping against hope that Billy would be recast again….but, it doesn’t seem that way. I taste my disappointment each time Burgess appears; especially with Chelsea….nah, Justin/ Adam is perfect for Chelsea. I hope he confesses the truth to her. That would be a sure way of testing her loyalty and love for Adam. I do feel that she still loves Adam and always will.
I wholeheartedly agree with Ron to keep storylines separate and in perspective. Why must they all be connected? A meaningfully strong storyline is able to stand on its own ….as it is, I sometimes lose track of who is doing what to whom. Frustrating.
No CeeCee Sharon is the only person for Adam. They can’t forget the Adam & Sharon we all loved that made us put Adams character from evil to someone we love was all beacuse how endearing he was do anything for Sharon and she went to jail to protect Adam. Victor framed her . Adam we know went to New Oreleans to love his Sharon and bring her home
Well, at one point, I thought Rafe Torres was the love of Adam’s life. LOL. You just reminded me how despicable Adam used to be…..used any means to get to his distorted end. I hope he has done away with that practice. Later, Kim.

How exciting to meet and interview Bill Bell at his home no less. I’ve seen Y&R off & over the last 30 years, depending on my hours, but watch full-time for a long while now. I watch GH, which is a completely different style of writing. I have worked in music industry for 15 plus years & I used to recognize the writers off a song just from hearing it first time. But today so many songs sound alike. Where oh where has the originality gone? Why are my favorites copying others now & becoming cheap imitations.
I’m not as well-versed on the different soap writers as I am music writers, but it’s clear every show has their own style. In the past few years I’ve seen JFP’s writers putting out some of the same storylines as her and hers did at GH. Now, it might have worked on GH at times, but that’s not Y&R. I feel she’s often missing the heart of the show, but it has gotten way better over the past few months. I just hope for Y&R’s sake Mr. Pratt doesn’t write the show like All My Children. We’ll see.
Today when Victor and Ashley popped the champagne open & clinked glasses, that was a great scene with smart,hip businesswoman and the mastermind mogul. That’s Y&R to me.

I have been reciting the same litany for a while now. I was finally getting comfortable with Y&R again, when Kelly and Phyllis are set on stage as recalcitrant little girls, fighting over a doll.
I appreciate the introduction of possible mental illness …..whether it’s Kelly or Phyl is yet to surface.
Nonetheless, whoever the ‘sane’ one is, shouldn’t she give up the cat-fight and not prolong this stupidity? I don’t really care, not if it means making these overgrown infants fight over trivialities. Where does one draw the line?
If it is, indeed, mental illness, then the subject should be approached with dignity and integrity. TPTB are carrying it too far by making this very serious disease into a guessing game, by pitting these two against each other….it ‘ain’t ‘ pretty! ….Pathetic!
As far as today’s music, I so agree with you. I grew up listening to my grandparents’s oldies (whenever I was visiting)…..mainly late ’50’s, ’60’s and ’70’s and then some. I love that music. Of course, there are a few present-day artists I enjoy, but nothing extraordinary, in comparison. My favorite? QUEEN.

Must tell you that my wife bought a CD of Y and R’s music as a Christmas present, and it is wonderful background music to listen to when you simply want to “exist” for a half-hour. Nonetheless, the CD got me online and revisiting some past episodes of Restless, especially the earliest years. Yesterday afternoon I watched a scene where Liz Foster pulled the life support on her dying husband– it was SO traumatic. To think that great scenes like that still play so powerfully today, and still be so meaningful today, is a tribute to Bell and Alden. As many a Bell character would say, “Good Lord, that was so hard to do.” And the background music that played in this scene and the other scenes of that episode (Leslie Brookes telling her parents that Brad is blind) just stirs in me. As for my visits with Bill, he was a perfect interviewee, let a silly college boy take pictures holding a couple of his Emmys, and allowed me to snoop over Kay’s shoulder as she was typing a scene for Katherine Chancellor, and she wept aloud as the typed. Great memories for me that I’ve shared with my own wife and kids. It’s these things that I hope those who have charge of Y and R take to heart and aspire to replicate. By the way, if you ever watched in the 70s, there was a very long storyline involving Chris Brookes’ work with a seedy character named Ron Becker. Bill gave the character my name! That’s the kind of guy Bill was and remains: class act. (The Becker story involved a rapist, and my very conservative parents weren’t too thrilled about that tidbit.) Sorry to go on and on here; I just sort of stumbled onto these conversations after hearing of Beau Kayzer’s death and I am currently hooked on chatting away by fingertip.

Does anyone know if Chuck Pratt was responsible for Dixie dying after ingesting poisoned peanut butter pancakes which were meant for Babe? (that’ll teach Dixie to stop hogging other people’s food!).
The reason I ask is that Kelly (Cady Mcclain, formerly AMC”s Dixie) is now in the hospital fighting for her life after drinking poisoned tea. I smell a pattern here.
I also suspect that Kelly is so bat chit crazy that she poisoned herself in order to frame Phyllis.
Not going to see Dullan coming because he has no charisma or presence.

He has no personality/no persona with Y&R he much like boring wallpaper..
He does nothing and is very bland..
He and Avery are a horrible couple . NO SEX APPEAL, WHATSOEVER… they are exciting as toe nail clippings..
It seems Y&R runs on couples love problems.. no excitement no drama just love problems … boring, dull, a snore..
yet– we are adducted and tune in keeping the numbers up, even though many, as myself, FF through most of the episodes.. and that is what keeps Y&R up in numbers but not necessarily happy inserted viewers..
Well, perhaps Pratt can bring Drab Dylan to life and give him a personality other than bland………. lol
“Dullan” and “Drab Dylan.” LOL! Love it. Man, this character is anything but a fan fave.
Oh, Dullan? Ha ha! Too funny, Sharice. Even getting beat up didn’t make him interesting. And putting him in a love triangle with Smoe and Betty Crocker, attorney at law, isn’t helping either.
It is weird that no one feels any pangs of pity for Dylan over his beating….LOL.

Really too bad but I just do not understand the fascination with this character! The only time SB acts interested in what he is doing is with SC he and Jessica Collins have no chemistry. He has only owned Crimson Lights for a year why should we care if he is losing the place. This is what disgusts me about JFP she is not professional at all she has a unusual affection for SB and viewers have to suffer she did the same thing over at GH! Then RC has to bring the character back singing show tunes and the whole mess starts again over there.
Seriously, what ties does Dylan, the pylon, have in GC? Least of all Crimson Lights.

OMG, k/kay. While I was writing the post above, I had a flash of Arnold S. shock and rock my brain. I thought the same thing. That is exactly the beast to whom I equate Dylan. Gross.
I also ask, “What is the fascination with this character!”?
And, when paired with Avery, I give this couple no mercy. For once, I would like to see steam rise when these two touch…instead? Nothing. I did, however, see a spark when Joe kissed her….whether Avery and/or TPTB want to admit it or not. Follow that road, writers…..please!
I thought Dylan has chemistry with Sharon, but as Kay knows, JFP would not have her pet coupled with the likes of Sharon. I like Sharon and think she’s a perfect soap vixen/heroine. Sharon Case rose above the really deplorable writing which was basically character assassination.
And think of the fireworks it a Sharon/Dylan coupling would ignite. Can you imagine Horse Whispering Nikki’s reaction upon realizing yet another son was with “that woman”? It was a missed opportunity. Instead, they thought it would be a good idea to put the introverted, simple Dylan with the perky Betty Crocker, attorney at law.
Soap fans I wish you the best in 2015 may you get the best stories you have ever reached for!!! I have gotten very sad news and feel it is best I make no more comments about the soaps!!!! I will have my hands full please be kind and remember it is only a story !

I may be young, but I have had the greatest loss a parent can experience. I know pain as no other….my pain is never far from my thoughts and heart. I lost a child . Nothing compares to that.

Why don’t they realize that no matter how many storylines they give Dullen Y&R viewers don’t care. SBu as Dylan is an epic fail. Please do not send him back to GH either. So happy when he left.
Who cares??? If Victor is behind all of this he will win as always. Just look at today’s show as am example of the same ole crap. Jabot (Ashley) is hiding her secret. She found the mole. Victor is one step ahead with the bug he planted in her office/lab, This is like watching re-runs. Victor will always win.
Honestly one would think with so much on the line Jabot security would sweep for bugs on a daily if not hourly basis– so it is rather silly that he got one in there. But I agree, I’m sick of Victor always winning and I should know better, but I’m still hoping that Jill and Cane will manage to get Chancellor back
Exactly, With all the dirty dealings with Victor that Ashley has had over the years you would think that it she found the mole the next step would be to have the office/lab swept for bugs! She knows it isn’t above Victor to do this.
And Victoria’s denial is appalling. She actually said that her father is not capable of such a thing. Has she met her father?
And today she actually called him “Daddy!” Um, Victoria? You’re about the same age as Betty Jane Hudson was when she was writing a letter to Daddy (“saying, I love you). If you don’t stop with the “Daddy” nonsense you’re going to ignite such responses as, “Whatever Happened to Baby Vicky?”

Wow, Harry…what a complete turnabout on Victoria’s part. I cannot believe the innocent act on her part. She knows her father’s evil machinations better than most. Right, “Daddy”, my foot. How farcical is that?
Yes, I also think that Sharon has been and is still being burned at the stake……much to our Su’s Joy, lol. I find myself fluctuating between liking her and not. I don’t know how to feel about Sharon….pity? Definitely.
The ‘bosses’ have destroyed Sharon and Nick, and what should /could have been.
I very much salivate at the thought of Nikki ( who bared all for a living but chooses to forget) having a fit watching “yet another son was with that woman”, as you so eloquently phrased. Sweet, poetic justice.
Nonetheless, the only chemistry I see between Dylan and Sharon is friendship. I actually do not see Dylan with anyone. He is just like his ex character wife, Sam. They both go through the motions without emotion. They made a great pair on GH…….she with her black, shiny, vavavoom boots ( which I love, btw….have a few), and he with his black, Tough-guy black leather jacket. That is as far as their personalities go.
I think Sharon deserves a little stability in her life….who knows, Dylan may provide that for her.
I have been waiting a long time, as everyone else, for something B I G enough, devastating enough, life-changing enough in GC to W O W me. So tired of these Mickey Mouse storylines. Later.
I think Victoria is drinking her coffee to strong, her father is not capable of this???? Are we still talking about the man who had her put in jail on her wedding day, or the guy who had Billy locked in a cave to keep him away from her, or the guy who knew about Adam hitting Delia with the car and keeping quiet about it so he could see his grandson?? Isn’t that called with-holding evidence? But he’s not capable of this!!! WOW I want some of her coffee.

davlestev1, I’m a huge General Hospital fan, and you are right! Mr. Pratt had Jason Morgan front and center during his time there and JFP’s time there, like 10 yrs, she did, too. Some of us were sick of it, some loved it. Inever, ever want SB back there! Keep him! I found him boring as mud, except for his and Sam’s love scenes. It’s odd though to see that on THIS show though. Doesn’t seem to fit, but we will see.
Laurie…of course it doesn’t fit and why..just look at CharlesPratt interviews..right here on @MichaelFairman (on air/ on Soaps)…the link to his latest interview is on the right of this page..he DOES NOT plan to do Bill Bell’s type of storytelling any longer..the slow pace..the darkened atmosphere…etc…the very thing that makes this show so unique and on top for years is the very model he intends to put to bed for ALL TIME…so you shouldn’t be surprised. Well I’m all for giving Dylan something to do other than stand there behind the counter or be eye candy on Avery’s arm. If they are giving Dylan a dark side it might be fun if he teamed up with Adam to take down Victor. The two outcasts children of Nikki and Victor bringing down the smug Newman clan would suit me just fine. So if that is the direction they are going great– but if this is all smoke but no fire, meaning Dylan mouthing off and someone else does poor Joe in and we have to sit through another boring trail of an innocent person going on jail for something he didn’t do– please hide my remote because I don’t think I could go through that story again.
I like the two outcast idea. But I don’t think Dylan could be as patient as Adam has been. Nor do I think he has the intelligence to outwit Sam in the long run. And while both Adam and Dylan are damaged goods, Dylan is a hot head who leads with his emotions first. If anyone drives me crazy it’s Abby, but then I guess every soap needs one.
As far as storyline driving me crazy, add Hillary and Devon.

Rose/CeeCee – I totally agree. I am so sick of the Devon and Hillary storyline! It doesn’t make any sense that Devon would do this to his beloved adoptive father. Like you said in an earlier post CeeCee, this makes Neil look stupid.
Phelps’ boy-toy and quasi-daughter have dominated this show for the past year. It’s time to recognize that they are both huge failures. They are lousy actors. If Y&R is to ever return to a glimpse of its former glory, Steve Burton and Hunter King need to go. Enough,

su000, YES-Dylan took his shirt off a few weeks when he proposed to Avery. They went home and got naked. I wondered when I saw it.
The main thing that bothers me about Dylan and Avery is how they stand and kiss and kiss, sometimes in private, sometimes in public, and they throw sweet nothings at each other like “You are my prince. You are my dream come true. I’m the luckiest guy in the world. We have an amazing love. I’m yours forever!” What on earth? I’ve never stood around and kissed in public with my husband. I tell him nice things in the car or at home, but mostly in a Hallmark card! I think Davery bought a bunch and our using it for dialogue. The Bachelor’s fake proposals have more fire than Davery’s crap!
Yes, Su, Dylan and Avery did do IT, but it was like watching two sticks being rubbed together and igniting no fire. And, Hey, you…don’t knock my plaid PJ’s flannel bottoms and plushy socks…that’s not nice….double LOL. Later, girl.
Since Pratt’s onboard now, I’m afraid we may get MORE Dylan, no less. He worked w/him on GH & I seem to remember him being a “fan” of Jason Morgan. I see in spoilers that Dylan’s going to revert to bad habits or something similar as he plans revenge on Joe. I hope this doesn’t mean Pratt’s gonna turn Dylan into Jason Morgan! It’s not because I don’t like Jason Morgan, but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of Dylan? I remember him going on and on in an interview about how unlike Dylan was than Jason. Don’t care. He’s boring either way.

Great post. I agree….Jake is being fashioned into all three personae. I have never questioned why Burton is in picture frames….that’s Jason, as he is remembered. Yes, it was mentioned several times that Jake Doe’s face was mangled, ergo reconstructive surgery.
As far as the stupid sweet-nothings between Avery and Dylan…what can I say…yuck?
I have only been married seven years, but, no “gag-me-with-a-spoon” exchanges go on between me and my husband either……especially not in public. I will call him ‘babes’ , at times…he calls me ‘angel’….but mostly he calls me “little bit” because he’s almost a foot taller than I. ….no mushy stuff.
We are force-fed this lovey, dovey stuff between Avery and Dylan ad nauseam.
I wouldn’t mind Joe kissing her again, though…LOL. Later.

DO NOT send him back to GH. I watch that show too! I was so glad when Jason was unceremoniously kicked off Pier 52! Burton needs to go, but not back to Port Charles. Just Go. Off my screen. Forever. Let me be clear; I can’t stand him in any role at any time, on any show.

Diane Jones – Steve Burton was one of the reasons GH became unwatchable for me after a lifetime of viewing. I liked him OK as Jason Q, but hated Jason Morgan. I was so happy when he left GH. He’s even more boring and sucks up more storyline on Y&R if that is even possible. By the way, what is freaking wrong with you? I won’t respond to your posts in the future since another opinion seems to bring out a very rude response. Good day.
I have a feeling that Joe is going to meet an untimely death, not necessarily because of Dylan, but rumour is that all soaps are gonna be trimming their casts, and Joe would be an easy place for Y&R to start since he’s a newcomer to the cast. Ideally, the next ones out would be Dylan and Avery because they are incredibly boring, but I doubt that will happen since Steve Burton is JFP’s golden boy and both characters are tied to important people.
Regardless, I’m glad they’re finally utilizing Dylan & Avery in an interesting story that isn’t totally boring.

Sharon, i do agree that that Seve is miscast…but, he will be miscast in any character. Steve/Jason M was a bully and Steve/Dylan is a whiny bully.
Billy Miller will not be Jason M, as Su keeps saying, he will be Jake/Jason Q…..a far cry from Steve/Jason M……physically, mentally, emotionally and most importantly, this nuJason will have personality. I know Billy will dazzle me as he adds a pinch of his own spice. The two cannot be compared…..Billy is the sun; Steve is the nebula.

Billy Miller was not cast to be stone cold Jason Morgan Sonny’s hit man (shawn has that part now) but more-so to be Jason Quartermaine ..
When the Jason Morgan character was with GH he was a go nowhere character, he was so stereocast that he hand no turns in him, and that is one reason I see that character being put to pasture.
Billy Miller will rock as a Q! ..

And, I, Su, agree with you 100%. I only caught the tail-end of Steve/Jason, but I saw enough. Even as Dylan, this guy does not do anything for me. I just can’t get into him.
Sometimes I wonder, no, I’m convinced, that many GH fans (not on this site) aren’t even reading social media comments, tv or magazine interviews, or even listen to the dialogue on the show! How many times did Epiph, Monica & everyone at GH say in Jakes room he had reconstructive face surgery? 36 hours of it? A lot! But some folks didn’t understand why he looks different. ? How long has it been known that RC’s going to mold Jason M, Jason Q, and Jake into 1 person. It’s all over the internet and in soap magazines! I’d think if they took the time to go on facebook and complain on GH page, they’d watch the promos they post, read about the days promos, and see what other fans are divulging about upcoming storylines. Today, I read a comment asking why isn’t Billy Miller in Sam’s picture frames instead of Steve Burton. REALLY? I also remember weeks after BM started, up to when he had his bandages off for 3 wks, I saw many comments from “fans” stunned it wasn’t Steve Burton and cussing at the writers for tricking them. Can’t make this stuff up. Billy Miller is amazing.
Just keep Scott Elrod on as Joe. Loved the “flashback” scenes. He can be paired with anyone, I don’t care…just keep him. No competition for Dylan. As “red” rhetorically asked Avery..you dumped that guy?!?!?!

If Y&R needs to save a few bucks and trim some of the cast, start with Burton, then Hunter King, the character Austin, then “Bryton” (the one name thing kills me), then get rid of the Stitch character and all his kin. Including Kelly after a huge cray-cray meltdown. There. I saved ‘ya a bunch of money. You’re welcome.
We have tornados in Wisconsin during May sweeps, that would do the trick. Or maybe the “magic” backup generator in Crimson Lights could have a carbon monoxide leak. At least Dullan would be a goner. I’d settle for that.
For Dillon being ex-military he’s rather wimpy. Big disappointment.
A few things…
1. That DULL-AS-DIRT Dylan wants r-e-v-e-n-g-e on Joe??? REALLY?!?!? Oh, p-l-e-a-s-e…Joe is W-A-Y more INTRIGUING, STUDLY AND WATCHABLE than that one-note Dylan!!!!! D-U-H!!!!!
2. When Dylan was recently robbed and beaten up (Boo Hoo Hoo), I kept rooting for those ski-masked bad guys…VERY DEFIANT LOL!!!!!
3. Most of all, I would L-O-V-E for one-note Dylan to be thrown off of a cliff or something a la GONE FOREVER!!!!! SAYONARA!!!!!

You hit it out of the park, jaybird! I couldn’t agree with you more. I never cared for Steve Burton or JFP. Together, they helped ruin GH with the excessive mob-based storylines. I didn’t like Burton’s GH character, and I have hated the way JFP has put Burton front and center since day 1.
And this is where I really cringe: the fact that Die-lan is now involved in violence, as recipient and instigator, hearkens back to the GH mob days, as JFP wants to tie this actor to his comfort zone.
Please make them stop!!

Please say it is Not So! Read that Scott Elrod is leaving the show, cannot believe it! He is Perfect for Y&R, Perfect in his role! Not since Eric Braeden joined the show 35 years ago, has there been such an elegant exciting, Beautiful actor on Y&R! And when EB & SE, share a scene, it is most provocative, and really Great! Love Mr. Braeden, and have also come to really like Scott Elrod very much also. Very, Very Sorry that he is leaving!
