Daytime Emmy winner Eric Martsolf  (Brady) of Days of our Lives can be seen and heard all over your television or computer screens this week!

Tonight, Eric guest stars on the hit TNT series Rizzoli & Isles (9PMET/8CST) where he will play the role of as Brad Oskoff, an employee from a wealthy family with a dark secret.

Rizzoli & Isles follows Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander), complete opposites and good friends who solve crimes and bust some of Boston’s most notorious criminals.

Then tomorrow night (9PMET/8CT), Eric will once again be the voice of Oscar winner Halle Berry’s computer program on the new CBS drama Extant!  The series is produced by Steven Spielberg.  Martsolf was heard in the season premiere last week and will again be heard in the sixth episode later in the season.

And this week on Days of our Lives, Brady won’t know what happens when his father, John Black (Drake Hogestyn)  life hangs in the balance due to what he believes is his fault, although the audience knows that Theresa (Jen Lilley) is pulling all the strings!

So happy to hear of the outside projects for Mr. Martsolf?  Are you like Brady’s current story on DAYS? Excited to see what unfolds with Kristen(Eileen Davidson) returns to Salem and how it affects Brady? Let us know!

I love Eric Martsolf; but, I do not love the pairing of Brady and Theresa. The Vegas scenes were beyond ridiculous and not believable in the slightest. I really can’t stand the character of Theresa. What redeeming qualities does the character have? I can’t wait until Kristen comes back to Salem. I hope she kidnaps Theresa and does away with her, no explanation needed. Or, will she kidnap Brady in hopes of helping him clean-up his act?

I like Theressa and wish they develop more of a back story for her to explain why she became a cold calculating schemer…so far its because of her absentee father Shane who was a spy and rarely around…i like to think her mother Kimberly, out of loneliness, cheated on Shane and it was with Theressa’s own fiance’ who later committed suicide after Kim refused to leave Shane for him…Theressa found out about the affair but kept it a secret and became a bitter coniving person because of it…good idea or not it would help explain why Theressa is the way she is and to allow us to feel a little sympathy for her!!! jmo

Hi,jimh. That’s a pretty plausible scenario. But, my mother said that , back in the day, Kimberly was a prostitute, so wouldn’t that fact be more feasible in explaining Theresa’s sociopathic behavior? Imagine growing up with that stigma.

Shane and Kimberly were reunited shortly after Mrs Horton’s funeral. I would write that while they were separated, Kimberly started hooking again…and one of her clients molested Theresa.

Hope Kristen returns with Bradys baby…or is it Erics(would make better drama if Erics and Marlena granny of Kristens child)…lol…cant wait to see if any confrotation scenes between Kristen and Theressa…as for John he’s already brain dead so cant blame Theressa for that…lol

Eric Maltsof. Yum! Cannot get enough. Handsome AND talented. So happy to see the nice guy does not finish last.

Yum, is right , Iakovos. Here is a perfectly good actor (and good looking)…wasting away and acting the fool. I wish the” gods” who rule DOOL would clean him up already. Kristin was a nut-job, but, at least, she truly loved him.
I actually like Theresa, and she’s closer in age than Kristin, then again, there would be no drama if everyone skipped happily through the fields. It would not be soapy.
So now, John will be in a coma…Theresa will get away with yet another crime and Brady will take the blame sitting in a jail cell, licking his wounds.

Had to reply here…yes Kim was a pro’ and that could be part of the reason for Theressa’s bad girl behavior if she found out about it plus maybe kids at school somehow found out and bullied her about it…plus id still like to add my scenerio to it to that you responded to above…also they should sober Brady up…with his drugs and drinking youd think he’d have liver problems or other health issues by now!!!

One time, Theresa was upset with her aunt Kayla when Kayla called her Jeanie. Theresa replied with “My name is Theresa, like the saint!”

Maybe hitting John over the head and letting Brady take the wrap is what will push Brady to clean up his act…Theresa could have been saintly without realizing it!!!

Forgot to mention: Eve was also a prostitute and Paige seemed to turn out fine…so i like to think Theressa either couldnt take Kims ‘nightly work’ or there is still more to her backstory as i suggested!!!

I’m as happy as I can be! Kristen returns next Friday!!!

John might think he is Roman and still married to Marlena?

Good one!

I just love John. Please don’t let him die. All the good actors are leaving and its not going to be Days of our lives anymore..

John has become a useless character since his return…the writers seem to find it difficult to write for him unless he is confronting Brady…he use to be far more interesting…hopefully that will change…maybe because of his head injury John will have some dark moments and unexpected violent outburst shocking his family and friends but who’ll be supportive and try to help him once they realize his head injury is to blame!!!

What if John wakes up and thinks he’s still with Kristen from all those years ago?

Just watched Rizzoli & Isles; didn’t see Eric. Maybe his epi next week???

I saw Eric on the show. I just think it’s time Eric as Brady get’s a new storyline. Eric was clean shaven, maybe that ‘s why you maybe didn’t see him.

I saw Eric on “Rizzoli & Isles” last night, Leah. He was on at the very end…not a big deal…you didn’t miss much. He played the bad guy…lol

Thanks Ann Marie, CeeCee!

Absolutely, jimh. You are right, of course. There is , in most cases, an underlying traumatic reason for a rebellious child who eventually may or may not turn criminally inclined. We cannot compare one person with the other, though. Yes, Paige turned out to be well-adjusted….but, she has a different personality, not to mention that Theresa is probably pre-disposed to act the psychopath. I think that what Theresa did was instinctual. We can visibly see she is highly affected by what she did. The question is; is she truly sorry or is she afraid of getting caught? In her defence, now that I had time to think about it, John did manhandle her. He pushed her, HARD!!. Her instincts dictated she defend herself…spur of the moment…no time to think. It is a difficult call to make. But, we both like Theresa…we want her redeemed…at least, I do.
@4ever …I love the way you think. I agree with your deduction. Perhaps John getting whacked upside his head was a “stroke” of luck. Time for Brady to step out of oblivion, and for Theresa to read up on St. Theresa; that will certainly make her drop to her knees, pounding her chest and murmuring , “mea culpa”, over and over again. Lol
