General Hospital and On-Air On-Soaps Podcast co-host Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) will be appearing on tonight’s episode of the new ABC primetime drama series Once Upon a Time!  The series explores many popular characters from fairytales, in a very unique way! Hennesy will be appearing as Myrna, Jiminy Cricket’s mother.  She first divulged this information on her guest spot to us on on our last podcast in October.

Hennesy remains one of the most in demand actresses we know, balancing roles on General Hospital, Cougar Town, guest star spots on primetime episodics and national commercials! Plus as a novelist, her Pandora series of books for Tweens and The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli all have been best-sellers.

Once Upon a Time airs Sunday night November 27 at 8:00 PM EST/PST on ABC.

Carolyn gets gigs on all the best shows….well, except GH that is ;).

Seriously though she did great on OUAT! She got to show off her impeccable comedic timing and work with the equally delightful Harry Groener (Mayor Wilkins from Buffy) AND get to work on a script by the phenomenally talented writer Jane Espenson (also from Buffy). You can’t get better. I was so excited to see her there, though I recognized her voice before I recognized her!

Carolyn Hennesy delights me anytime I catch her on screen (or on podcasts here), be it a Swiffer commercial, guest spot, COUGAR TOWN or GH. She is a treat. I do wish GH would use her gifts more, but for Miss Hennesy, there is surely much more in her future. I would love to see her on stage!

Michael…you’re so good to your friends. Can I be one of them? 🙂

Tamara Braun Says Farewell To GH: “Thank You To All You Wonderful People for Your Love and Support”

Today marks the day for the final appearance of General Hospital’s Tamara Braun in the role of Dr. Kim Nero, according to a post on her Instagram account from the actress herself.

Braun posted: “Want to see Kim Nero one last time? Tune in today to say goodbye. Thank you to all you wonderful people for your love and support. #GH #goodbye #love #support #fans #gratitude #smile #bekind”

Tamara’s latest GH alter-ego (she had previously played Carly Corinthos) of Kim Nero, found herself pining after Franco (Roger Howarth) who now has her beloved Drew Cain’s memories transplanted into his brain, thanks to the horrifying procedure done by the late Shiloh and Dr. Cabot.  Kim has also been grieving for months the loss of her son, Oscar.

Watch to see how Kim exits Port Charles on the ABC daytime drama series.
