Tristan Rogers Headed to Y&R! Ron Carlivati Tweets He Had No Idea Tristan Was Leaving GH!

Last night, Daytime Confidential broke the story that their sources have informed them that fan favorite Tristan Rogers (Robert, GH) is headed back to The Young and the Restless in the role of Colin Atkinson! Rogers return is part of a major storyline planned for Jess Walton’s Jill!
The revelation that Rogers is exiting Port Charles, when he has been appearing on General Hospital as a part of Robin’s return storyline, shocked GH’s head writer Ron Carlivati, who took to Twitter last night and admitted, “Guys, I had no idea @tristanrogers was leaving. I found out last night. I now have 1 day to write him out of a big Feb Sweeps storyline. Meanwhile, you will see a lot of Robert between now and February! And please respect @tristanrogers and his decision. Thanks. #GH”

I’m excited, I really liked him on Y&R and with Jill. Hopefully the writing for him will be better with MAB gone.

I mention he was leaving under the Micheal/Morgan report…was he let go or did he not have a contract so he left 4 Y&R when the offer came…is this a long term return or not…maybe he can come back to GH in the future…maybe this is a sinister plot by CBS to create a mega soap and ruin GH…will abc sue cbs now because of this…sorry folks…i guess i read too much about PP insane lawsuit blaming ABC for their failure to keep their soaps afloat…lol

Well, that would be completely ridiculous given that she was born and raised in Puerto Rico, but that just makes it all the more likely to play out on screen the way GH works now. After all, we’re winding down on all the paternity stories so its time to start another one.
I still say… Ellie… man, was she HOT – her hair – the other day… when she was talking with Spinelli… and he re-assured her.. they were still together… and that it was Dianne who suggested that he and Maxie get married….

I read in a spoiler that Sabrina may be Lily’s child with Sonny. Lily may not be dead; but, is alive and heading up her father’s business. That, I can’t see; but, I can see how she may be Sonny’s daughter.
GH is bugging me…Maxi accidentally caused the lab explosion, and everyone thought Robin died but she was kidnapped and her death was faked by Jerry Jax…how did he manage to pull it off…did he just happen to be lurking in the shadows when the explosion happen…he couldnt possibly know Maxi would accidentally cause the accident, and use the opportunity to kidnap Robin and fake her death, and how would he manage to get in and out of the lab and replace Robin with a different body that was burnt beyond recognition…are we suppose to believe Maxi just happen to cause the accident at the very moment Jax was planning to kidnap Robin…how would he just happen to have a burnt female body with him unless he really caused the explosion and not Maxi!!!

I thought the same thing as I was watching the playbacks of the lab explosion this past week. Like, how did Jerry, et, all know that was going to happen, have a corpse to replace Robin with, etc.
Yes, Patrick…i would like Ellie to be Tracis daughter…and hope its true…Traci mention she always wanted a daughter but earlier Sabrina mention she never seen her moms picture makes me wonder if they are hinting at a Traci/Sabrina mother pairing…

While I am happy to see Tristan on my tv screen in any role, I am always partial to Robert Scorpio. He is the reason I started watching GH back in the 80’s. Obviously GH never put TR on contract so he has the right to go to Y&R if he so chooses but IMO that’s where the higher ups at ABC/GH screwed up. Sign him to a contract and cut the ridiculous Franco storyline or other deadweight that a majority of viewers aren’t interested in.

I also agree, Tristan Rogers will ALWAYS be Robert Scorpio to me. I understand that the actor is entitled to work where he pleases, but Robert without Anna, Robin and Luke, does not work to well for me. Not so thrilled with the blindside to GH either, does not sound fair to me, pushing the GH writers into a corner, but they will work it out just fine, I am sure. I do wish Tristan the very best though.
I agree too. Scorpio is cooler than the other side of the pillow. Franco is Tanko and Carly is about as appealing as a truffle snorting pig.

I couldn’t agree more. Why are they paying for characters like Franco (on contract) but not a ratings riser like TR is unforgiveable…..very disappointed in this and many other decisions made by tptb at GH.
Get rid of Franco & keep Scorpio!
Actors go where the stories are. Had GH used Tristan more he might have been inclined to turn them down. They story Y&R pitched must be pretty enticing.
He drove up the ratings for sure, now with him leaving I once again done with GH.
Sheesh Harry, with viewers (or now former viewers) like you, no wonder soaps are dying! Where are the fans that just love the whole show? Not one particular actor/character/couple? I feel in love with GH way back when Felicia was first introduced in the 80’s. Guess what, I feel found myself entranced by the whole show. Felicia left a couple of times, but I was hooked on the whole feeling of the show. I tried to get into other shows, but I knew GH was it for me. I can’t imagine abandoning it because an actor left. The show has now been on for 50+ years…of course some will choose to go…or not choose. Tristan has always been a loose cannon behind the scenes and this shows me he hasn’t matured in that regard. If he’s miffed he didn’t have a contract then too bad….I guess it worked out in his favor and he was able to shove it to Frank & Ron…just like Steve Burton did. ABC wouldn’t cave into his travel demands and he left…luckily bestie Jill Phelps just got her job at YR! I digress though. Don’t watch GH anymore…though it’s quite sad how fickle we’ve become.
The story Y&R pitched must be pretty enticing? Indeed, why would TR want to leave a storyline where he was in a coma for a year, then is locked in an underground lab for weeks one end.
Haha amen! I love Robert Scorpio, but honestly, the way all the writers have treated him over the years-on a day, off a year, on a week, off two years-what did they expect? I love that Ron says he now has “One day to write him out of a big February Sweeps story.” PLEASE! I love Ron and Frank (for the most part), but while I may have been born at night, I was not born LAST night! They were going to probably have him in what, two episodes in February to walk Robin down the aisle when she re-marries Patrick?
Anybody with half a brain knew he was just brought on because RC needed him for a little bit for the saint Robin to come back. I mean Holly was supposedly by his side seen any sightings of her? I hope they write good story for him over at Y&R they had a gold mine in him he fit the part perfectly and they blew it before.
I think he’s heading to CBS to get away from ABC. At least they know how to keep their soaps!!
HA! Have you forgotten that CBS decided to cancel Guiding Light and As The World Turns respectively after Proctor & Gamble said they wanted out of the soap business? CBS does not know how to keep its soaps!

Sad news!!! I am happy Tristan will have work… but I really wanted Robert Scorpio to be on our GH canvas for a long while. I understand he needs to go where the work is but… it’s a bummer for GH fans! I do watch Y&R and will enjoy seeing him again… but… I am wishing GH could do something to keep him on GH!!!
I have been a fan of Tristan since his early days on GH. Loved when they had him on the Y&R, but unfortunately, the writers at that time didn’t do his acting skills justice. Welcome back to Y&R Tristan. Hope the new writers don’t make you into too much of a bully 🙂
I get these shows have budgets but sign these people to contracts if you dont want them pulled out from under you. You cant blame the guy for going with whoever obviously wants him most.
Right and don’t hire all these new actors–the OLTL 3 really aren’t necessary and they aren’t working. Sabrina the Sparkle Pony and Ava are also incredibly boring. Give Sonny the heave ho–he’s so done.
I’m totally upset. I wish they could have secured him in some way then we wouldn’t be going through this. My greatest fear has finally happen…Y&R got him just when he was finally back on GH…ooh, this really hurt..
Had Ron not put Tristan’s character away for winter storage while in the midst of a very exciting storyline, not only would Ron have more than one day to write for him for February sweeps, TR most likely would not have left. It was clear TR was enjoying playing the hell out of Robert Scorpio and doing an amazing job of it. Then Ron takes him off the canvas just as the storyline is about to climax. This has not only been frustrating for viewers, it’s got to be frustrating for the actors involved. TR’s leaving is on Ron Carvilati. No, not excited about his playing Colin on Y&R. TR is a gifted actor, but his best role is playing Robert Scorpio, the coolest superspy ever.

Tristan Rogers is Robert Scorpio. I am so disappointed that he is leaving GH. I really wanted to watch the reunited Scorpio family. I was also hoping for a Robert/Anna reunion down the line. Just hope he’s back someday soon!
I agree Susan! Very disappointing! I hope Ron Carlivati can throw together a meaningful departure given the lack of time to prepare. I think Y&R should have given GH more of a heads up before they snatched Tristan away. It’d be nice to see a little common courtesy between the soaps that are left. Competing networks or not, the whole genre is still in survival mode and they are in that boat together.
Why would Y&R need to give GH a heads up? Presumably Tristan could have done so. Obviously he did not feel so compelled. The way actors are treated on GH (no contracts for those who have been on the canvas for years, but all the OLTL’rs and all the new RC creations do get contracts) I wouldn’t blame every one of them for trying to go somewhere else. Much as I love Robert Scorpio – and I absolutely do, there is a part of me that thinks this is a good thing because it is one less thing keeping me tied to a show that is less and less the show I knew and loved every single day. And I would like to not care about it at all when I finally decide to pull the plug.

It is true that Tristan’s persona just screams “free agent!” No doubt that only adds to his considerable charms, but I cannot believe he would have turned down a fab offer to continue his star-making role of Robert Scorpio for the foreseeable future….GH was simply outbid, or did they even bother to make an offer????

It’s their fault.” (But NEVER credit Ron & Frank with SAVING GH from cancellation!!)

Why would anyone blame Frank and Ron for a lawsuit where they were pretty much in control of all the contract provisions that were presumably ignored? I’m sure they’re both completely innocent and uninvolved! Even if ABC wins they will spend millions defending it. I’m sure that is part of the budget issues at GH.

They did not save GH from cancellation. And yes, we blame them for taking characters off the canvas while they are in the middle of an exciting storyline. It’s choppy disruptive writing–Ron cannot multitask to save his life.
Actors can only appear in so many episodes and some have other obligations…thats why they are not shown all the time…ratings have risen because of Frank and Ron which indeed saved the show from cancellation…if they not come to GH and the ratings stayed low GH wouldve long been gone…so they did save the show!!!

It today’s bleak economic times, lets say Harry the Executive Producer and Harry the Head Writer multi-task, keep the budget to a bare minimum (no more 80s money baby!), and come up with exciting stories to get people back to watching a 50+ year old soap. Frank and Ron have done this in spades. Your choice not to believe how much they have helped the show stay on the air. I had to witness, actually not witness since I couldn’t bare to watch anymore, how much Jill Phelps and Bob Guza decimated the once & mighty GH for a full decade. They were given ample time to kill off beloved several beloved characters, rewrite GH history (Hello Rick!), make it into a daytime off the Sopranos with a new mobster practically every month…did I also mention how dark and depressing the show got? Frank & Ron have given us suspense, humor, family, mystery, campiness, reality, and the Nurses Ball! Tristan Rogers is cantankerous at best. I love him as Robert Scorpio. I respect him wanting to work. I just don’t respect how he went about this. Blame Ron and I’m sure you’ll come up with some other worldly disasters that he could have written…oh, that’s right, he can’t multi-task to save his life.
I see your point, though the rain comment was a bit out there, LOL. Frank and Ron did save GH, though, and as for A.J., Liz and Laura, RC did an interview and explained that A.J.’s trial will be starting soon (it got delayed because of Robin’s return), Liz will be coming up in a story soon too, and Laura has been written off the show due to Genie Francis’ other obligations/scheduling conflicts.
I am in total agreement. Yes, I would love to see my faves (Robert, Anna, Laura, et al) everyday, but, it’s just not possible. The soap industry of old is gone. Big contracts, big salaries, big overhead, are a thing of the past. The only way GH can be cost effective AND give us our beloved characters is to create these short-term opportunities. I would rather have my faves in bits and bites than watch them languish to backburner hell, relegated to dispensing coffee and advice. A character like Robert Scorpio can easily be sent on assignment for the WSB at a moments notice, giving him the opportunity to surface again. In exchange, maybe we get a short term appearance from Sean Donnelly or Frisco in Robert’s stead. Just my thoughts.

TR wasn’t on contract. He was OFFERED a role, and he ACCEPTED it.
If he really was that important to this show whose cast is sooooo bloated, they could have kept him with a contract.
Well I am surprise he would want to go back considering how shabby they dismissed him from the role when he was last there. However for the character Jill, Colin was her perfect match and I loved the chemistry between the two, so I am glad they are bringing him back. But a lot of GH fans are going to be disappointed with the news.

How I Feel About it! I am heartbroken. However totally respect and love Tristan and his decision. If GH is not going to use him and someone else is offering then he must do what is best for him and his family. Tristan returned in October and GH has received the highest ratings in years and they barely used him. GH Loss is now Y&R Gain and obviously JFP has been paying attention to Y&R ratings going down and GH ratings increased because of Tristan return and he went after the GOLD!
Yep, and now I, and so many others, are going to tune out. I can’t stand Franco, Carly, Kiki , Sonny, and Sabrina the Sparkle Pony.
Nobody is going to tune out because of a rarely seen character/Tristan leaving..

It sounds to me like Y&R offered Tristan Rogers something he couldn’t refuse-maybe a contract? Little bit more long term? I watch Y&R, so I know the character he’ll be playing: a fun, not-so-nice guy. I can live with that, and I’ll never be angry at those who weigh options and chooses the ones that work for them.

ive tried to watch Y&R.. a few times once when Genis Francis was there.. then again when Steve Burton wen there.. but I just cant get into it.. Good Luck to Tristan.. will miss him.. wish GH would have given him more story and incentive to stay.
I am a big GH following going back 50 years ago. I am so tired of losing people or characters I love, Robin, Jason, Robert, who is next. U get attached to the characters

Very upset, but very happy for Tristan. He shines wherever he goes. An actor has to go where work is guaranteed. Obviously there was no guarantee that was provided past January by ABCD/GH. That’s what contracts are for 🙂 ABCD/GH seems to have no problem giving those out to others
I’m excited! Tristan Rogers is a phenomenal actor and I liked his pairing with Jill. Now that MAB is gone, hopefully the writing will be much better for him.
And hopefully, his return will set the stage for Genie Francis coming back as Genevieve! I’ve missed them both on Y&R the past year. Yes, they’ve been doing a really great job on GH where they both started out, but I think they worked really well as enemies/scorned lovers on Y&R.
As well, the possibility of Francis’ return posed a thought for a storyline in my mind:
Let’s say Cynthia Watros’ new character, Kelly, sticks around town for a while and develops a romance with Jack. Then, we find out later that Kelly is actually Genevieve’s daughter, Samantha, who didn’t really die when she was shot by Cane’s twin, Caleb. The show could say that Genevieve was trying to protect Samantha from Colin and didn’t want her to turn out to be a part of the mob like he was, so she faked her death and Samantha got plastic surgery to look completely different (remember, Samantha had brown hair when they showed her in flashbacks, and she was much younger) and assume a new identity as Kelly, a teacher.
Jack would be shocked, and so would Colin, knowing his daughter is alive. Plus it would give Cane something to do other than call Lily “sexy” all the time. As well, this would benefit Cynthia, because she is a great actress, too great to waste on a short story arc. This would give her a real purpose to stay on the show and pave the way for Francis returning.
I realize Cynthia & Genie are close in age, but Cynthia looks much younger than Genie does, and it could be plausible for her to be Genevieve’s daughter. Just a thought, but I think it would play out quite nicely to have all these powerhouse actors/actresses in a storyline together.
‘this’ is one of the ‘funnest posts: in a long time… and Delia notwithstanding – Y&R is a HOT mess.. and HOT, I mean.. the Cast…

fans be damned… yet… year in and year out… decades plus… like we have no minds of our own… tune in network production… fans are attuned to the streamlining of character development… and history. we are the connection to chemistry with what works for characters intertwining within each Serial.
As soon as I heard Cynthia was coming to the show I let my mind wander about possible story ideas and ties to the canvas her character could have. I think a romance with Jack would be amazing because he needs a new love interest and Kelly needs to stop screwing around with Billy. Plus, Cynthia Watros and Peter Bergman could have such great chemistry between them. And wouldn’t it just twist the knife in Jack’s back to fall in love with Kelly, and then have it turn out she’s Genevieve’s daughter?! Oh, the story possibilities… Colin would go through the roof and Jack would be heartbroken again, and maybe relapse, which would give Bergman some great material that may just garner him an Emmy! As I said, the possibilities are endless here… though I doubt any of it will play out, I can still dream

Can we drop the term “megasoap?” I am not fond of it.
I like GH but actors/characters come and go so quickly and the fanfare is sometimes short-lived. Part of the joy in serial drama is the investment we have. I want to see my favorites with regularity. Sad the economics of the business does not accommodate that common desire. That said, Rogers and Walton were very good together in Y&R. This also give the Cane character more to do, more with whom to interact.
Well I wish him well at Y&R, but he will always be Robert Scorpio to me. It’s a shame he can’t do both soaps. I did not like the Colin character at all on Y&R and I don’t think Tristan and Jess Walton had any chemistry.

The only thing really exciting about GH these days is Robert Scorpio and the Scorpio family. Without him, I will go back to watching half-heartedly.

This is a real shame. If GH wanted him for February sweeps, then they should have negotiated that as part of his appearances. Frank’s model of having lots of actors not on contract that come and go can backfire. Tristan Rogers clearly got a better offer, with what I suspect is a very good storyline, from Y&R. He enjoys playing Colin who is quite different than Scorpio and is without all the baggage that goes along with playing such an iconic, beloved character as Robert. I doubt there was any kind of major falling out, just simply that Frank/ABC didn’t offer him a contract, and Y&R, seeing that GH’s ratings are overtaking Y&R in the key demographics saw an opportunity to neutralize a player on the GH canvas that has been contributing to that rise. No complete Scorpio family during sweeps. The three of them together is a big draw. Prior to this Y&R had not shown any interest in Colin, and Jess Walton had even gone on recurring status. The characters of Robert Scorpio and his family were seen by millions and millions of viewers in the 80s and have huge strategic value. Those viewers back then were so young, that they’re still young and under age 50. Taking over the 18-48 demographic is close to being a reality. Perhaps even Y&R may have been feeling the heat. Ron should not be blamed for this. The contract actors come first and he is not responsible for who is on contract. Tristan Rogers has expressed concern in the past that it’s difficult to write for a character like Scorpio because he is so heroic there comes a point that it becomes impossible to satisfy viewers expectations, hence his enjoyment in playing Colin. The last writer who tackled Scorpio well was Sri Rao who did so by deconstructing Robert in an excellent cancer storyline. Rao has been complementary of Scorpio’s appearances, and although the character may not be on as much as we would like, what we have seen has been pretty good. Ron’s been attentive to the Scorpio history and I appreciate it. Lack of airtime can be said of almost all of the characters right now because the cast is so huge. Personally, I think this is a disaster for Frank coming on the heels of Genie Francis leaving and the looming PP lawsuit which saddled him with three actors that had no characters, but still had minimums to meet. I have not heard anything about Tristan Rogers actually signing a long term contract with Y&R, so if Frank wanted to turn around the situation, he should sign him to a contract now to get him back as soon as any obligation with Y&R ends if there is one. Frank could be in a position to do this as his strong and increasing ratings in the under 50 bracket may give him some leverage with ABC. Right now GH is averaging up the ratings making it the number 1 rated network in daytime. He can even use the controversy as additional publicity to add to the ratings. A kind of soap behind the soap PR due to GH’s resurgence. Scorpio, and Tristan Rogers, will be greatly missed.
Bottom line, is Y&R made TR a offer he couldn’t refuse and GH was content to just keep toying around with him, not really securing him on GH. More power to him for doing the smart thing and taking the better deal. Enough said.

Tristin Rogers’ – Colin… is in a sexy sensual, adult drama… romancing Jess Walton’ Jill…. what better way to further along.. a story for him… that already works…

TR will always be Robert Scorpio to me as well…I am disappointed he isn’t staying… Gh dropped the ball on that. They should have signed him to keep him, Now Y&R was smart to swoop in and sign TR.. What a shame. So much sl potential lost…

I was wondering if this was a case of Phelps-style revenge vis-à-vis Cartini swiping Marcy Rylan after Y&R fired her–but that role was quickly filled by a friend of Jill. Phelps can’t be trusted, and soap fans know that. I have stopped watching Y&R in the wake of Delia’s senseless death, but I highly doubt fans being offered anything other than bread crumbs. Jess Walton is the show’s best actress but older than the type of woman Phelps usually prefers.
Well if the “Cartini-swiping” of Rylan is an issue for JFP, then she should have no need for revenge….she can simply derive immense pleasure from the fact that the “NuLuLu” recast has been an epic failure…..and it only has gone from bad to worse! As “ShrewLu” Rylan is now just downright unlikeable and unwatchable!!!!

I am very very disappointed that Robert will be gone. I was so looking forward to Anna and Robert rescueing Robin,. The super spys are locked up by a dying scum bag? that should have told us Frank doesn’t care. Scorpios story brought the ratings up. Did tptb not see that. Do they think we can be brought back and will not turn the show off again? Think again. Except for this storyline I just dvr and FF most of it. Tristan is a person he gets hungry, he has bills and he needs to have a paycheck. .I do not blame him at all. . TPTB gave contracts to the OLTLers and large long ones. let FrankenRon watch them. I find all except Silas FF material along with the mobs. I have been enjoying the robin return, I understand Ratings and sweeps month do tiic?

I love TR as the super spy Robert Scorpio .. the best character ever! I don’t like the Colin character on Y&R at all = boring. I didn’t like that character at all, and I didn’t see much chemistry with anyone on Y&R. Tucker was a much better character. Hopefully, TR will be back some day? Maybe they can bring back Frisco now??
The writers should be put on recurring no contract status. That would fix budget problems. Let’s see how they like it.
I don’t watch GH so glad he’s returning to Y&R. Seems strange that someone in charge at GH doesn’t know the status of his actors. Guess he wasn’t under contract at GH and he will be at Y&R? Either way, looking forward to it. He can only HELP Y&R, which is in desperate need of help.
I love Tristan Rogers! He will always be Robert Scorpio to me! There seems to be a miscommunication with many of the Veterans brought back-Genie Francis, Tristan Rogers, and Jack Wagner. I would much rather see the veterans than a lot of the newcomers. Take Kristen Alderson, for example. As I was watching her in the scenes at Ava’s art gallery and then on the pier when Michael was in the water, all I could think was that she was way out of her league. Ron keeps shoving her down our throats as Kiki. It’s like nails on a chalkboard for me. Would love to see her and nuMorgan head out of Port Charles. Take Carlos with you.
And Sabrina, too!!!! That “Bridezillapalooza” fashion farce the other day was just downright unbearable!!!!! Cannot wait for this nonsensical non-wedding to be null and voided…it’s about time!!!!!
I think he’ll be back on GH at some point. If I was him, I’d be enjoying the best of both world too ! Nothing wrong with surviving is there ? Actors have to work… and he’s got a good gig going on both shows. Bravo to him !

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason Walks Away From The Mob After 30 Years; Steve Burton and Maurice Benard Deliver Emotional Moments
Is this the end of an era? It certainly looks like it after Jason (Steve Burton) explained to Sonny (Maurice Benard), why he can no longer work for him, and be his right hand enforcer for his organization on the Monday, August 3 episode of General Hospital.
In story, Jason filled Sonny in on everything that went down before he was taken into custody by the WSB including: his opportunity to kill Cullum, Rocco shooting Cullum on the pier, being carted off to Jakarta, and watching his son, Danny, who now only has one parent (since his mother, Sam McCall died in 2024) suffer the consequences of his actions. Jason made clear to Sonny he must be there for his son now and needs to set a better example for him.
As emotional Jason is trying to get the words out and becomes overwhelmed with sadness, because he is truly caught between his son and the man that changed his life after Jason sustained longstanding brain damage from being injured in the car crash nearly 30 years ago in 1996.

Jason recounts to Sonny what led him to this decision, “The WSB’s taking me in. They throw me shackles and then they force me in the back of a transport. Danny was there. He’s pounding on the door. Tears in his eyes screaming that what they’re doing to me is wrong. They just can’t take me off. I’m sitting there wondering, ‘What the hell have I done to my kid?’ His mom’s dead. I’m going to prison if I’m lucky. Something just breaks inside of me.”
“So, I promised myself, I got to do better,” continued Jason. “I failed my son too many times and I can’t do it again. If I keep working for you, then I’m going to make sure that your security’s my priority and not Danny. It’s not fair to you to keep me on when I can’t do the things I used to. I can’t kill for you again. I got to stop doing what I’m doing so Danny doesn’t follow in my footsteps.”
Next, Sonny lets Jason know Danny had already tried to join the mob in his absence, and that he knew Jason wouldn’t want Danny in this life, just like he would not want his own children. Jason thanks Sonny for handling the situation. He adds, “I just have a few years before Danny’s going to be out on his own. This my last chance to be a true father to him before he doesn’t even need me anymore. I’m out.”

Sonny gives Jason his blessing with tears streaming down his face, and tells Jason they will always be brothers, and they share a hug, before Jason exits.
Applause to Steve Burton who played the scenes beautifully, and Maurice Benard, who reminded us why the longstanding relationship between Jason and Sonny has been one of the all-time best and one of the cornerstones of three decades of GH. Burton should remember these scenes for potential inclusion for his Emmy reel for 2027.

GENERAL HOSPITAL Preview: Serena Sets Her Sights on Michael; Jason’s Emotional Exit from the Mob
This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”
Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.
Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.
Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.
Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Josslyn is taken aback. Ava courts a new ally. Jordan and Anna catch up. Isaiah vents to Lucas and Elizabeth. Michael questions Jacinda.
