TRUE BLOOD Announces Premiere Date For Seventh And Final Season!

Ready for some more vamps?  True Blood is set to return for its final and seventh season when it premieres on Sunday night, June 22nd at 9PMEST/8PMCST, according to HBO in an announcement yesterday!

The new season will bring previously announced new cast members including former General Hospital favorite Nathan Parsons (Ex-Ethan Lovett) who will now be taking over the role of James, after Luke Grimes exited after the Season 6 finale!

And one of the big questions as it heads towards its finale, will Sookie (Anna Paquin) end up with a vampire or a shifter? And as well, that mutated vampire disease is going to be sweeping the undead population!

What will happen?  How will it end? How should True Blood come to its conclusion? So many questions! For now, watch the newly released seventh season teaser after the jump!  Then weigh-in!

I am sorry this will be True Blood’s last season, but who knows True Blood the show will rise again from its watery grave just like the dead bodies on the show.

Based on the quality of the last 2 seasons’ storylines — Bilith, the Ifrit, Nora, Warlow — it’s probably for the best…

Like most Alan Ball productions, he lost interest after season 2. Lafayette and the ghost lady stealing babies was the jump the shark moment.

Its sad in a way because I really don’t care. Last season lost me. I’ll watch the final season…reluctantly.

So sad to see it end. My favorite show.
