When General Hospital’s Jason Morgan Returns, Do You Want Him Romantically Linked to Carly, Sam, Liz or Someone Else?
GH fans now know that Steve Burton is back taping all-new episode of General Hospital, and as has been revealed, the character of Jason Morgan will be back on your screens starting with the March 4th episode of the ABC daytime drama series.
When we last saw Jason he was buried under rubble in a cave that collapsed. But, where has he been since then? And when he makes his way back to Port Charles, who would you like to see him romantically involved with?
There had been speculation that he could reignite his relationship with Carly (Laura Wright), who before Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrived back from Nixon Falls, the two were married, or, the besties could just go back to being just that.

Carly has been in a relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but could it be the series will play up that Carly is now torn between the two brothers?

Elsewhere, there is Sam (Kelly Monaco), who was a great love of Jason’s life. However, now she is with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and it has left fans wondering will Lulu eventually coming out of her coma be the trigger that causes a dilemma in their relationship, or could it be Jason’s return and old feelings re-emerging that might spell trouble for them, especially given that Jason is Danny’s father?

Then, there is Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) who shares a deep-rooted past with Jason and the two share a son, Jake. Could it be possible that Liz and Finn’s (Michael Easton) second attempt at a relationship will go bust, thanks to a Jason return? Finally, if not Carly, Sam or Liz, who on the canvas could you see Jason with?

Of the 3 possibilities presented, only Sam & Dante are in couple that works well on screen. Also, Monaco and Burton fizzled the last time they attempted to re-pair them.
Elizabeth & Finn keep beating a boring dead horse. Becky deserves better. The only thing that will save Finn is a Hayden return.
Since they finally offed Peter, there were a couple candidates for my least favorite character or performer. Coloma’s departure moved that dishonor firmly to CM’s portrayal of Drew. A lot of that is on the writers writing him out of character and siloing him with Carly. Is there anything Pat/Liz can do to salvage this character?
So, if Jason must be paired with one of the 3, Carly seems the most logical.
If Chris & Dan had stayed, an amnesiac Jason Morgan would have been found, thinking he was Jason Quartermaine and falling for Nina.

Carly needs to realize that being a fashion editor of a magazine isn’t her calling and go back to running Kelly’s and give Nina back her magazine.

Just yesterday, Nina sabotaged a hotel she supposedly half-owns and arguably put all of that hotels tenants at risk, just so she could stick it to Drew and Carly.
And you can bet your soul she’s going to try to use insurance to pay for that, which would be insurance fraud, a felony far more deliberate than the accidental “insider trading” she got all high and mighty about.

Nina tried to sell Carly back her half two times. And sorry, Sonny fell out of love with Carly and in love with Nina. It happens. Carly fits the role of a fashion editor-in-chief as well as she fits in her Kohl’s business fashions- meaning not all.

Donna, what you don’t know about good acting could fill the Pacific Ocean. Watros could give a master class in acting and is revered by her those who know good acting. She employs nuance, quirkiness, subtlety, awkwardness and a comedic flair. Stafford was muggy, over-the-top and basically, was Phyllis from Y&R.
I agree with you Becky does deserve better! Liz/Finn do NOT work! If Frank and the writers don’t plan to reunite Jason and Elizabeth, bring back Lucky or better yet, Franco. I loved Roger and Becky together. Roger had this energy that brought out a different side of Becky H. I loved how FRIZ became a family, much like with Lucky before the writers ruined him. Maybe the new writers can capture a similar family dynamic with Jason and Elizabeth. Bring Hayden back for Fin or better yet, Satan can you take him?

Even if Jason were gay, I don’t think I could picture him with Brad. He would get on Jason’s nerves more than Brenda did, back when they were “married” for legal purposes while Luis Alcazar was roaming around Port Charles.

I’m already getting requests to release Britt Westbourne from Hell and send her back up. Don’t worry, she’s got air conditioning, but I’ll let her go if she’s needed back in Port Charles.
That said though, I don’t think Jason & Sam have had a fair chance under the Valentini regime. ReRon deliberately used his OLTL transplants to drive them apart in 2012, and by the time that was all resolved, they had literally one day together with Baby Danny before Jason was shot and kicked off the docks. And when he came back from Whiny Heiny’s Russian “clinic” in 2017, they never really were given a shot. So I don’t know whether Frank Valentini himself has some sort of hostility towards this former “supercouple”, but obviously the writers he hired in the past certainly did. The new head writers both worked under Bob Guza, so they should remember how to write Jason & Sam as a proper couple. Maybe this is the time to give them a fair chance at a reboot?
As far as Dante goes…. we all know the minute Lulu wakes up from veggieland, he’s going back to her anyway. And it’s way past time for Lulu to rejoin the world of conscious mortals.

You know, they really make a good pair, both passive, not much emotion , Finn was with what’s her name, Liz’s sister and Anna, both passionate women and Liz’s many lovers, the best being Franco who unwillingly left her when he died, except for Lucky the others were strong, sexy men, a little much for Liz, my opinion. I think Finn is just right for Liz and I like their family dynamics.

I never realized Jason slept around so much
He didn’t, really. The only time he really “slept around” was when he was with Robin, shortly after he became Jason Morgan. Robin was his “girlfriend”, in every sense but one – being fairly recently diagnosed with HIV, she didn’t want to expose Jason to that, so they did not have sexual relations. Jason turned to Carly for those “needs” after meeting her at Jake’s bar, where he was living at the time.
Other than that, I can’t remember a time where Jason was anything other than monogamous.
May I vote for Ava to be with Jason?
That’s highly unlikely. Yeah, they were somewhat “bonding” when they met in Heiny’s Russian “clinic” but that was before Ava knew he was Jason, and before Jason knew what Ava had done, especially what she had done to Morgan Corinthos.
Even though Morgan is no more actually dead than Jason was, and I do expect to see him again in 2024, I don’t see Jason forgetting about this and falling for Sam’s auntie Ava.
With 2 return from the dead already penned for 2024 (Jason & Spencer), we’re not going to see Morgan this year. Supposedly, that was one of C&Ds storylines that Frank and the network rejected.

Yeah, I definitely meant late 2024 for the Morgan return. I’m expecting Spencer back in the summer once his Menendez project is done, but the other big return happening soon, other than Jason, should be Lorenzo Alcazar.
He’s still the only name that makes sense for running the Pikeman thing, and though it could have been a brainwashed/programmed Drew who shot up Sonny’s island last week, it’s not at all likely that Drew would be the one taking shots at other mobsters (according to NuJagger’s story) and Curtis was shot long before Drew got his brain messed up in the prison beatdown, so he obviously didn’t do that hit.
And of course Alcazar could be the one who has Morgan stashed away somewhere… just like his brother Luis did with Brenda back in the day. But they could drag that out for months and not have all the “never really dead” guys come back at once.
So, with Alcazar, Morgan, Spencer and Jason, you’re predicting 4 RFD this year? That sounds more like your buddy Ron’s writing than Mulcahey.
Well, the one advantage I have over any of the writers is that I know who actually is dead, and who isn’t. Because – let’s face it – very few residents of Port Charles go to Heaven when they leave the mortal world.
So I know that Jason, Morgan, and Alcazar were never down here, and it’s pretty much an open secret that Spencer’s absence is only temporary.
Alcazar’s return is a no brainer because it’s the only way this year-long buildup with the Pikeman thing could make any sense at all. Morgan being held hostage by Alcazar is pure unholy speculation on my part, but it seems inevitable. My own theory is that Dex was originally going to be a Morgan recast, but somebody at ABC had “inside info” that Good Trouble was getting cancelled soon, so they decided they would hold out for Bryan Craig being available again.
When you whittle out all your schtick, you’d see that all of that happening in one year is highly unlikely (especially with a skilled scribe like Mulcahey taking the reins).
Sonny has too many kids on the canvas, so there’s no need for Morgan for the foreseeable future.

Well… considering Ava has already been with Morgan Corinthos, and with Duke’s son Griffin Munro, both of whom were younger than Jason, and was married to Nikolas, who is roughly the same age as Jason… age difference isn’t really the best argument against that coupling.
Though as I said before, there are other reasons why Jason & Ava would never be a couple.
Agree, but I always felt she was too old and just cast her worldly spell on these young men, especially the youngest one, Morgan. Then it looked like Austin was succumbing to her charms as well. She has them all bewitched and bewildered, and Sonny will be next, true to form, if only for some pity sex on her part. It’s only a matter of time.

Brit is my choice too, I loved those two together. I did not like Jason & Carly together, or Liz & Jason. Sam & Jason were great other in the early years, but the last reunion fell flat for me. If Brit can’t come back ( why did they kill her?!), then someone like her would be my choice.

Well, even if it were possible for a guy who’s pushing 50 to suddenly change his sexual orientation, can you imagine him hooking up with a guy who is the brother of both Sam and Carly??
While the concept of Lucas with Jason is extremely farcical it would complete the ludicrousness of 1. Carly being with all three Q brothers and 2. Both Sam & Dante as well as Elizabeth & Franco sharing siblings (Leo, Kristina for the first, Steven Lars for the second) – who themselves are not related.
Don’t forget that Elizabeth was with both Lucky & Nikolas. And so was her older sister Sarah back in the day, I think (Fuzzy Devil Memory, that was almost 30 years ago)
And wasn’t Elizabeth also briefly with AJ the last time he escaped from Hell… and then was with Drew, when she thought he was Jason.

Being a long term observer of humanity, I’ve seen pretty much everything you mortals can do with, and to each other, and in this case, what mortals can do to themselves when they live in the closet for years or even decades, because of what religious pressure, or family pressure or whatever has done to them. So it’s not a matter of them changing as much as it is just being tired of lying about it, especially to themselves, if that’s the case.
With Jason though, there’s never been an indication of anything in his closet but a spare leather jacket and his “box of pain”.

On the heels of the news that he is set to debut this month in the role of Joe Fitzpatrick on General Hospital, who is rumored to be a new love interest for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), comes the news that Bennett’s reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas has received 3 nomination for the Critics Choice Real TV Awards.
Bennett’s Hallmark Channel series finds itself in tough competition alongside fellow nominees: RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV), Squid Game: The Challenge (Netflix), Survivor 50 (CBS), Top Chef (Bravo) and The Traitors (Peacock). In addition, Jonathan himself is nominated for Best Show Host and the series participants as the Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
The Critics Choice Association (CCA) revealed the nominees for the eighth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on Thursday, which recognize excellence in nonfiction, unscripted and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. Bennett is very familiar to daytime fans having started his career as JR Chandler on All My Children in 2000-2001, before landing the part of Aaron Samuels in the motion picture, Mean Girls in 2004 starring Lindsay Lohan, which would become his breakout performance.

‘General Hospital’s’ Kelly Thiebaud on Britt and Cassius Sibling Drama, But Who Will Ultimately Blow His Cover?
On the April 30 episode of General Hospital, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had some choice words and warning for her brother Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) who has been masquerading as his twin, the very dead, Nathan West.
As the story has unfolded, viewers learned that Britt knew all along that when “Nathan” showed up in Port Charles seemingly resurrected with a missing 7 years of his life unexplained, that Cassius was taking his place.
Now in developments on today’s GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is figuring out that this guy pretending to be Nathan is someone else, and Cassius learns from Britt, that Joss is not just a ditzy sorority girl as he claimed, but a WSB agent! The moment stuns Cassius. Are the walls about to close in on him and his charade?

Thiebaud expressed on sharing scenes with Ryan Paevey, “It’s just been so wonderful to have him back and to actually work with him! When he first came onto the show (as Nathan at the end of 2013) I was kind of heading out — it was right towards the end of my contract, so we didn’t actually work together a ton. It’s been really refreshing and so much fun to really spend time together and get to know each other and work together. I think we have really great on-camera chemistry and banter with each other. I really enjoy working with him.”
With the stakes at an all-time, Thiebaud explained how she views her on-screen alter-ego’s involvement with her more hot-to-temper sibling and why Britt revealed the truth about Josslyn to him. “People finding out about Cassius would expose what she’s involved in and what she agreed to do,” explains Kelly “And now Josslyn is digging around, and she’s connected to Carly (Laura Wright) to Jason (Steve Burton) and that whole dynamic! It’s messy!”
BRITT’S MURKY FUTURE
Britt has currently also reached her breaking point with Jason being carted away by the WSB, Rocco (Finn Carr), the child she gave birth to, shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to protect her and Jason, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) being killed after trying to help her, and Cullum holding over her head getting her Huntington’s disease medication to control her symptoms, while blackmailing her into finishing the research on her father, Cesar Faison’s, final project. Thiebaud summed it up best for Britt right now, sharing, “It’s been a really tough time for her.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Reveals His Plan to Set Up Chase and Willow to Have an Affair
After the Wednesday, April 29 episode of General Hospital, it’s clear outside interference and other circumstances are set to blow Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) marriage sky high, as Michael (Rory Gibson) reveals his plans to entrap Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and use her relationship with Chase to do it!
In story, Michael dropped by unexpectedly to Carly’s (Laura Wright). A plotting Michael reveals his plan to nudge Willow and Chase into having an affair. Michael hopes it would create both a political and personal scandal, where Willow would lose her seat in congress. In the scenario, she would be having an affair with her ex-husband, while taking care of her supposed disabled husband, Drew (Cameron Mathison), who cannot speak and is confined to a wheelchair, which in turn will look horrible for Willow’s character.
Carly asked does he really want to destroy his cousin, Brook Lynn’s life in the process? Michael goes in on Chase’s holier than thou attitude, and says he is going to set-up the circumstances that would lead Chase and Willow to betray their spouses, and hit the sheets together. Michael swears to Carly what the two of them do is up to them, but he’s going to go on the offense with this.
MICHAEL HAS BACK-UP
Later, Jacinda (Paige Herschell) is talking with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) at Crimson and how much she dislikes Willow because of what she has done to Michael. Just then, Michael shows up and tells Jacinda privately, he’s figured out a way to fight Willow. Looks like Jacinda might work with Michael to bring down Willow and use Chase as the person to do it!
At the hospital, Lucas (Van Hansis) tells Josslyn (Eden McCoy) that Carly is cheating on Jack, but he doesn’t know with who. Josslyn suddenly flashes back to the moment she found her mother harboring a fugitive, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), in her attic, and as figured out that her mother is sleeping with him. She heads out.

BRENNAN IS ABOUT TO LEARN ABOUT CARLY
Next thing you know, Josslyn has showed up inside Jack’s (Chris McKenna) hotel room at the Metro Court and when he enters his room, he is shocked to find her there. He lays into her for not keeping his distance and that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will have no problem killing her if he knows she’s WSB. Josslyn fires back that he is only concerned about that because his relationship with her mother depends on her being safe. But then, she lays the boom, and tells Jack, Well, you’re too late. You already lost her.”
LULU GETS A GLIMPSE OF CASSIUS’ TEMPER
In addition, Lulu (Alexa Havins) sees a different side of “Nathan.” Since she is unaware that the man before her is his twin, Cassius Fasion (Ryan Paevey), he tells her that Rocco (Finn Carr) blabbed that he shot Cullum to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and now he thinks they should send him away to stop him from talking to everyone else. This concerns Lulu, who rails at Nathan for telling her what to do with her son and that she isn’t going to abandon him. With “Nathan’s” outburst at her on the matter, will she finally get a clue this is not the man she thinks it is?
