WWE’s Liv Morgan Steps Out at ‘Stranger Things 5’ Premiere and Gives Update When She Expects to be Back in the Ring Following Shoulder Surgery
WWE and Monday Night Raw superstar, Liv Morgan, who has been off televised WWE programming since June, as she recovers from her shoulder injury and surgery sustained during a match, made a major public appearance on November 6th when she attended the Stranger Things 5 premiere in Los Angeles.
Netflix, which will stream Stranger Things 5 when it premieres on November 26th, which is also the home to WWE Raw live every Monday (8pm ET/5pm PT), revealed on TUDUM, comments made by Morgan when they chatted with her on the red carpet.
First things first, an update on when Liv will be seen back on ‘Raw’ or even perhaps as soon as the November 29th ‘Survivor Series’? Morgan teased what seemed like a more imminent return only stating, “I think that everyone’s just going to have to watch me.” Could she be ready to go and we will see Liv before the end of 2025?

Morgan suffered the injury during a match on June 16, 2025, when she landed awkwardly on her arm. After dislocating her shoulder, the injury required surgery to repair it. Initial reports had Liv, even with rehabilitation efforts which she has shown via her Instagram, being out of action for at least six months.
Speaking on the world of Stranger Things and what WWE Superstar could take down a Demogorgon, Morgan named, but of course, Dirty Dom Mysterio noting, he could do the job. After all, says Morgan, “He’s the WWE Intercontinental Champion and the AAA Mega Champion, he can kind of do anything.”
The talented WWE superstar, who is also an actress in her own right, filmed a role in the upcoming feature Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, earlier this year. Now looking at the Stranger Things universe, and the character of Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown), Morgan feels the peculiar girl with psionic abilities could make for an excellent tag team partner! “Every single time Eleven gets knocked down, she comes back stronger and more powerful than ever.” stated Liv. “She is the most iconic, (and) she’d be the best tag team partner because I wouldn’t have to lift a finger. She would do everything for me.”
Netflix has the exclusive sneak peak of the first five-minutes of the first episode of the final season of Stranger Things, where viewers are transported to 1983, when the town of Hawkins was first torn apart following the mysterious disappearance of Will Byers (Noah Schnapp).
Titled “The Crawl,” the episode opens somewhere deep inside the Upside Down’s forest. Will is alone and terrified, huddled inside a makeshift fort when an eerie cracking sound causes him to bolt upright. A menacing Demogorgon is just outside and ready to attack, forcing Will to run through the forest and up a tree. The Demogorgon catches up and drags him into Vecna’s decrepit lair, made even creepier as red lightning flashes overhead.

THE 411 ON TIA AND KALISTA
Speaking with TV Insider, about their soapy experience in Fairmont Crest, Tabitha Brown previewed about her host with the most, “Tia is very professional, but she’s a girl’s girl. She is a protector of women and wants to tell their stories in a beautiful way, but she also wants to make sure they’re seen in a very good light.”
However, Burruss previews that Kalista arrives with a score to settle. “She’s spicy,” shared the recording artist. “I always love playing somebody that has come to start trouble. It’s always fun to play a villain of sorts, but Kalista feels like she’s been done wrong and she’s hurt by what she feels has been done to her. So Kalista is stirring up trouble, but she feels justified putting Dani on blast. Kalista is ready for some payback.”
