Tucker and Victor meet to finalize the terms of the Jabot deal and Tucker fishes for information on Adam and Victor’s fallout. Meanwhile, Ashley presents Adam with the piece of cloth stained in blood and demands the truth from him but Adam continues to pretend that he knows nothing. Adam continues to play dumb until Phyllis hits him with the evidence that Skye was a victim of Taylor’s and he had to have known about his girlfriend’s involvement. Sharon turns on him, wanting to know the truth. Daniel and Amber get to the coffeehouse and find Kevin still frantically searching for Jana, who is still missing. He tells them that he believes that Daisy and Ryder may be involved but they both have alibis. Chloe arrives and Kevin asks her to get Chance to help them find Jana. Later, Chance agrees to help find Jana and Ryder arrives to offer Kevin his help as well. Jack and Patty arrive home and Jack surprises Patty with a portrait of Emily in her wedding gown and Patty panics, trying to hide her jealousy and Jack wonders if she doesn’t like his gift. Patty recovers quickly and reminds Jack how much she loves both him and the portrait. Alone, she tells Emily that Jack belongs to her now. Adam pretends to be tortured by the idea that Skye was molested by Taylor and he knew nothing about it. He sells it so well that Nick and Sharon wonder if he is telling the truth but Phyllis and Ashley aren’t buying it. Adam tries to get Sharon to leave with him but Nick tries to stop Sharon. Adam, however, puts on his best show, and manages to convince Sharon that she can trust her. Later, Ashley, Nick and Phyllis are determined to find solid evidence to bring Adam down and show Sharon who she is truly married to. Chloe finds a tip on the website Kevin set up to find Jana and Kevin, Ryder and Daniel set out to track it down. Later, Amber breaks out the Ouija board but all it spells out is MAMA and Amber starts to think that it is because she has babies on the brain. Meanwhile, Kevin learns that Jana was at the Strand Theatre before her disappearance. Jack confronts Victor and Tucker during their business and accuses Adam of being a mole planted by Victor inside Tucker’s company to help Victor outbid Jack for Jabot. Victor doesn’t cop to any malfeasance but Jack refuses to back down. Later, Jack tells Victor that he is going to a judge with his suspicions in order to stop the Jabot deal from going through. Meanwhile, Patty calls in for an update on Emily and learns that she is still in a coma. Sharon tells Adam that if he doesn’t tell her everything he has done now she will run from him as fast as she can. Adam explains to Sharon that Ashley was already unstable and asks Sharon to believe him. He asks Sharon to leave Genoa City with him and save their marriage in the process. Later, Jack runs into Adam and tries to plant a seed of doubt that Victor is playing Adam. He offers to have Adam come to work with him to get back at Victor once and for all. Chloe learns that Chance is going to file a missing persons report but there is still no evidence that Jana didn’t just take off on her own which nearly sends Kevin over the edge. Meanwhile, still locked up, Jana screams for help.

Lily and Mac meet with Devon and Malcolm to celebrate her last day of chemo, while Cane and Neil have to bail due to work situations with Tucker. Later, Cane meets with Tucker and learns that he plans to sell off all the divisions of Chancellor in one day. Kay and Neil are going over all of Tucker’s past dealings, trying to find something they can use against him, just as Cane arrives with the bad news. Things between J.T. and Victoria go from bad to worse as the tension continues to rise and Victoria realizes how much she missed while she was in Dubai. Later, Nikki encourages Victoria to move into the main house but Victoria refuses to be around Victor at the moment after the stunt he pulled with Adam. However, Victoria and Victor finally talk and Victor makes a vow that Adam will keep his distance from the rest of the family in order to protect them. Jack stops by Sharon’s suite to drop off the keys to Brad’s house, now that it’s livable again, and Jack tries to work Adam again. Meanwhile, Ashley leaves Jack a message telling him that she plans to move into Brad’s with Faith and Abby just as Victor arrives wanting to know exactly what her suspicions are about Adam. Later, Ashley tells Jack that she is moving back into Brad’s just as Sharon and Adam arrive and she drops the bomb on them that they need to make new living arrangements. While looking into Tucker’s past with Cane and Neil, Kay finally finds what she has been looking for in order to bring Tucker down. Nearby, Lily and Malcolm grow closer as they talk about their future as parents. Later, Kay, Cane and Neil realize that Tucker used a painting in order to further his career. Malcolm, Lily, Mac and Devon discuss what it would be like for Devon to look for his biological father and what it meant for Mac to not know her father growing up. Devon brings up the fact that Lily’s children will, in a way, have two mothers but Mac quickly corrects saying that although she feels protective, Lily is their one and only mother. Sharon and Adam immediately assume that this is Ashley’s way of punishing Adam but Ashley explains that this was Abby’s way of feeling closer to Brad and Colleen. Jack tries to interject himself but Adam cuts all ties with him and calls off the partnership, which Ashley becomes curious about. Later, Adam makes a passionate plea to take Sharon away from Genoa City, to get away from all the people that are trying to pull them apart with their lies. Sharon is drawn in as they kiss deeply. Meanwhile, Ashley tells Jack that Adam was responsible for tormenting her last summer and that he needs to stay away from Adam. Sharon agrees to leave Genoa City with Adam. Victoria and Victor manage to reconcile when Victor tells Victoria that her family comes first and he understands her decisions regarding Jabot. Meanwhile, Kay interrupts Tucker’s auction of Chancellor’s holdings in order to make it clear to Tucker that she now has the upper hand. Later, Victoria tries to start a conversation with J.T. and asks him to find a place to live, knowing it may be better for everyone involved but J.T. immediately becomes hostile and the battle lines are drawn. Mac finally feels the babies kick for the first time and Lily is thrilled, and a little wistful. Nearby, a stranger watches Cane with his family. Meanwhile, Tucker is caught when Kay confronts him with her suspicions of the buy off.

Jana, still locked up, continues to believe that Kevin will find her. Meanwhile, Kevin’s entire family works to help a frustrated and scared Kevin look for Jana and reminds him that both Daisy and Ryder have solid alibis for the time Jana went missing. Ryder sees Adam with a stack of relocation books at the bookstore and asks him about it. Adam tells him that he is considering leaving the country and starting his life over. Meanwhile, after Phyllis and Nick fill Victor in on their latest Adam discovery, Victor is furious and calls Adam to the ranch immediately to find out what the truth really is. Tucker realizes that Kay has evidence that he is guilty of international corporate bribery. Kay threatens to unravel everything Tucker has worked his entire life building. Tucker, however, is dumbstruck when Kay tells him that she has no intention of making her knowledge of this public. J.T. and Victoria’s argument escalates when J.T. refuses to walk away from Reed and he starts to point the finger at Victoria, reminding her that she was the one that chose Newman over her own son. Moments later, Kevin calls for J.T.’s help and J.T. uses it as an excuse to leave in the middle of their argument. Meanwhile, Daisy shows Ryder Kevin’s flyers of Jana and tells him that she needs a plan to make sure Kevin won’t ever wonder what happened to Jana again. Later, Ryder brings Jana food and Jana tries to talk to him and convince him to help her for Kevin’s sake. Ryder, however, reminds her that she knows who his mother is now and his mother is never going to let her go. Phyllis and Nick wonder what Adam’s true intentions with Dr. Taylor were and what Victor will do if he gets Adam to admit what he has done. Meanwhile, Victor gives Adam a chance to come clean and tell him the truth about what he did to Ashley but Adam feigns hurt and then goes on the attack telling Victor that if Nick and Phyllis don’t back off that he will be forced to tell everyone about the Jabot deal. Victor, however, doesn’t take the bait and reminds Adam that he will go down with them. Later, Adam goes to Tucker and tells him that he wants to take over the position of V.P. of European Operations. J.T. arrives at the coffeehouse to help Kevin look for Jana as Victoria calls Michael to ask him to help her with her divorce, fearing that J.T.’s talk of an amicable divorce was all just talk. Meanwhile, Ryder tells Daisy that he is worried about Jana because she is having headaches but Daisy is flip about it more concerned about making Jana disappear. Later, Michael tells Victoria that she can’t force J.T. to move out because Sharon leased the house to both of them. Meanwhile, Daisy tries to imitate Jana’s accent in the hopes of convincing Kevin that Jana left him. Kay tells Victor that she could have crushed Tucker today and chose not to because he is her son. Meanwhile, Tucker refuses to let Adam leave and tells him to stop the sale of all Chancellor Companies immediately.

On the day of Delia’s birthday party, Ashley stops by to see Emily and Jack and Patty starts to panic when Ashley asks her about her “surprise” for Jack and Patty knows nothing about it. Meanwhile, Chance and Chloe prepare to celebrate Delia’s birthday and discuss the relationship Chance has with Delia. Chance makes it clear to Chloe that he isn’t trying to take Billy’s place as Delia’s father. Later, Jack, Patty and Ashley arrive at the Chancellor estate for the party and Patty sidles up to Chloe to try and get more information on her surprise for Jack. At Restless Style, Billy, Jill, Malcolm, Cane and Lily are going over Lily’s test shots and everyone seems to love them but away from the group Billy and Jill realize they still need to dig up dirt on Tucker to sell their cover story. Meanwhile, Kay tells Neil that she decided not to use the information she has over Tucker against him and he tells her that she has to if she wants to save Chancellor. As the party gets underway, everyone coos over Delia, and Billy spoils her with gifts. Nearby, Jack finally gets a call from the lawyer he has been waiting for with news about Jabot. Meanwhile, Victor and Tucker get the news that Jack managed to convince a judge to put a stay on their deal until it can be looked at more thoroughly. Later, Chance has to leave to go to work and Jill realizes that Kay has dirt on Tucker and she is dumbstruck when Cane tells her that Kay decided not to use it. Victor and Tucker realize how much they are alike and how many promises they have broken to the people in their lives. Meanwhile, Jill pleads with Kay to use her ammunition to strike at Tucker but Kay tells her to let it go. Later, Victor goes to the hospital to visit “Patty” and asks her if she believes in karma. Alone with Emily, Victor finally opens up about his regret and admits his part in bringing Patty to town and Colleen’s death. Back at the magazine, Billy and Jill work frantically to try and find out what Kay is hiding from them on Tucker.

Patty’s panic rises when Ashley tells her that the surprise has arrived for Jack. Just as Jack is leaving for the courthouse, Kyle runs through the front door and into his father’s arms. Jack is stunned to see his son and Patty tries to control her panic, not knowing this boy who is calling Jack dad. Meanwhile, Victor promises “Patty” that she will get the best care money can buy. Chance comes home after Delia’s party and tells Chloe that Riggs turned up dead and now he will never know what was really going on with him. Meanwhile, Tucker tells Kay that he is putting a hold on the sale of all of Chancellor’s companies and Kay thanks him. At the hospital, Lily prepares for her PET scan to see if the cancer is in remission or if it has spread and wonders where Cane could be. Meanwhile, Cane is detained by an Immigrations officer who tells him that he is in the country illegally.

Cane informs a frantic Lily that I.C.E. wants to deport him. Cane explains that because he used Phillip’s social security number and masqueraded as natural born U.S. citizen that it is a deportable offense regardless of the fact that they are married. Lily refuses to let him get deported, no matter what. Victor goes to see Sharon to find out where Adam is and she defends her husband promising that Adam will do his part in court today, no matter the personal cost to himself. Meanwhile, Phyllis works to get access to Dr. Taylor’s personal effects. Later, Phyllis tells Sharon that she is onto a lead that will prove who Adam truly is and when she does she wants Sharon to come with her. Victoria and Billy compare battle wounds from their respective past year and before he knows what he is doing Billy grabs Victoria and kisses her. Completely caught off guard, Victoria kisses him back before drawing off and slapping him. Michael interrupts them before they have a chance to discuss anything. Later, Victor wonders if there is something going on with Victoria and Billy that he needs to step in on. Meanwhile, Victoria asks Nick if Michael needs to know about Adam’s position as the mole in Tucker’s organization. Paul is alerted when he is talking to “Patty” and she manages to squeeze his hand. Meanwhile, Patty is hit again when Diane Jenkins walks through the door and introduces herself to Emily. Patty manages to compose herself quickly and Diane is impressed by “Emily,” much more so than Phyllis. However, when Diane brings up Patty’s reign of destruction Patty starts to slowly lose it again. Later, just as Diane and Patty are discussing Patty’s past with Jack, Paul calls to tell “Emily” about “Patty’s” break through and asks her to come to the hospital. At the courthouse, everyone arrives and prepares for the hearing, all wondering where Adam is and what he is going to say in court. Inside the court, Jack and Victor present their cases and then the judge asks to hear from Adam but everyone is stunned when it seems that Adam didn’t show up to testify. Meanwhile, Phyllis tries to reach Sharon and make her see that Adam is dangerous and promises that if she doesn’t find anything on Adam that she will drop her investigation. Later, Jack is thrilled when the judge rules for a stay of 30 days in order for Jack to find more evidence that Victor tampered with the bids. At the hospital, Paul tells Patty that his sister has been trying to wake up and Patty promises to take good care of her. Patty tries to get a moment alone with Emily but Paul refuses to leave the room. Later, Patty finally manages to get a few moments alone with Emily just as Emily opens her eyes. Patty panics and grabs a pillow in order smother Emily. Sharon refuses to help Phyllis blast Adam so Phyllis sets out to find the proof on her own. Up in her suite, Sharon calls Adam just as Victor arrives demanding to know where Adam is. Meanwhile, while going through Taylor’s papers, Phyllis finds Skye’s journal that proves Adam knew about Skye’s past with Taylor. Later, Phyllis brings the news to Jack and ends up face to face with Diane. At the Sharon’s suite, Nick brings Skye’s journal and pleads with Sharon to hear him out. Lily promises Cane that she will do everything she can to get him out of lock up and home to her. Meanwhile, Billy and Victoria run into each other but refuse to talk about the kiss that happened earlier in the day.

Days Of Our Lives

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Marlena Looks Back at 50 Years in Salem

Published

on

By

The June 22 episode of Days of Our Lives reminded us all of why Deidre Hall is iconic in the role of Dr. Marlena Evans. Here we are 50 years later, and Marlena is still the heroine of the long-running soap opera, and Deidre remains one of the most most recognizable names in the history of soaps.

To pay tribute, and to look back at the life and times of Marlena, the story starts with Marlena flipping through a photo album of her with John (the late Drake Hogestyn) over the years. As she misses him dearly, she gets a knock on the door and its none other than John’s son, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean).

With Andrew (Colton Little) in Salem working on a case, he sits down with Marlena, who says she can’t believe its been fifty years since she first arrived in Salem! Cue: Deidre’s first scenes on DAYS when she finds Mickey Horton (the late John Clarke) playing chess against himself inside the mental institution she worked.

THE FLASHBACKS OF MARLENA’S LIFE

From there, viewers definitely got the cliff notes version of the history of Marlena and entrenched within them, some of the biggest moments in Deidre’s enduring run.

Paul thinks he is looking at 70s, and early 80s Marlena while going through her scrapbook, but he is actually looking at her twin, Samantha (Andrea Hall)Cue: when Marlena confronted Samantha about impersonating her, and then later getting a call on her radio show from the Salem Strangler (Jack Coleman as Jake Kostichek) who killed Samantha thinking it was Marlena.

In the present, Belle (Martha Madison) has arrived at this time to meet up with Paul, unaware of this trip down memory lane. She wants to go over the findings in the chess board mystery Stefano willed to Marlena and John, in private with him, since Marlena previously said she wanted nothing to do with it.

Back to the history lesson, Marlena speaks highly of Don Craig and even though their marriage didn’t work out, she could find a path forward with the new love her life, Roman Brady. (Wayne Northrop however is never shown, possibly to keep the story focused on John as Roman for confusion sakes?)

Paul sees a photo of a young Carrie (Christie Clark) in the album and Marlena says she was such a godsend after losing her baby. In fact, Marlena says caring for Carrie prepared her for her having and raising her own twins, Eric and Sami. Cue: The twin visiting Marlena in the hospital.

JOHN AND MARLENA’S LOVE CONQUERED ALL

Then, in a way to get through and incorporate the wild storylines only Marlena could have been in, she tells Belle and Paul, she has been through so much in her life, how lucky she was to find John, and some of the most unbelievable experiences no one could imagine. Cue: Marlena possessed by the devil and levitating from the bed. Next, John confronting Marlena being the Salem Stalker, where she admits she killed Alice Horton, pretends she needs help, then pulls a gun on her beloved John!

The comment is made by Paul and Marlena, that she literally has been to hell and back and she could not have survived were it not for her beloved John. Cue the big emotional highpoint clips; The Pier Scene! Marlena steps out of the fog when John sees her from a distance. After believing she was dead for four years, here she was before him in one of the greatest reunions in a soap opera love story in history. What followed were other times of the life of times of Jarlena.

MARLENA’S ‘GIFT’ FROM STEFANO HAS A NEW CLUE

When Marlena makes a brief exit to the other room, Belle fills in Paul on the chess set Stefano left her mother and the photo of the Lire. Paul said he will investigate. Marlena comes back into the room and overhears, and says to promise her if things get dangerous he will back off, she does not want anyone hurt by Stefano’s games.

As the episode comes to a conclusion, it’s just Belle and Marlena going through the photo album giggling about 70s hairstyles and all the memories. Belle speaks on the impact Marlena has had in everyone’s lives, and that she is both the heart of their family and the heart of Salem.

An end card comes up acknowledging Deidre Hall’s 50th anniversary as Marlena, and we fade to black.

So, what did you think of Marlena’s walk down memory lane? Were you happy to see the flashback clips utilized throughout? Were you touched by the scenes and the performance of Deidre Hall? Let us know what you thought of Deidre’s 50th anniversary episode via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sidwell Surfaces; A Twist in Britt’s Condition

Published

By

On the Thursday, June 18 episode of General Hospital, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) makes his shocking return right in Port Charles, after fleeing (thanks to Cassius) to supposedly parts unknown to escape capture for trying to kill Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).

How does he show up in town? First, Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) gets a text from Jacinda (Paige Herschell) to meet in his hotel room. Ezra thinks the two are going to have a sexcapade so he puts champagne on ice for his favorite escort.

Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. Ezra’s excitement turns towards fear as instead of Jacinda, Sidwell is standing in front of him. Next, Sidwell blackmails Boyle telling him he has plenty of leverage he can use against him. Sidwell wants to use Ezra to help him takedown, Sonny (Maurice Benard), Lucas, Laura (Genie Francis) and Cullum.

ARE SIDWELL’S DAYS NUMBERED?

Meanwhile, Sonny confides in his brother, Ric (Rick Hearst). He says he knows who killed Marco an he is going to use that intel to lure Sidwell out of hiding.  Sonny also shares he is going to kill Sidwell, and handle this by himself. He gave the PCPD a chance, but they failed to nab Sidwell for good and lock him up.

Sonny also has been tracking the whereabouts of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Rocco (Finn Carr) through Brick, and learned they took a flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and then boarded a fairy to take them somewhere off the island.

BRITT’S ‘SYMPTOMS’ RETURN

Turns out, Britt and Rocco are hiding out in the British Virgin Islands. Britt set up Rocco with a burner phone and a VPN on her tablet, that is not traceable. Rocco reads on the tablet about Lucas’ shooting. Britt starts to have the shakes and passes out. When she comes to, Britt won’t let Rocco call a doctor, but he uses his phone to step on the balcony and call Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and ask for help. Charlotte looks shocked to hear from her brother as Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) looks on!

Courtesy/ABC

However, Joe (Jonathan Bennett) could be the one to put two and two together! While at General Hospital and after questioning Lucas about a syringe he found that was in someone’s possession. the toxicology report showed traces of saline solution, not actual medication. He asks Dr. Jones, why someone would inject themselves with saline? Lucas responds saline is harmless and would have no effect on someone.

So, does this mean that this entire time, Britt has been led to believe that the medication she was taking to treat her Huntington’s disease was placebo? Has Britt been lied to into believing she is dying? Is something else wrong with her instead?

Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below, and if you are ready for Sidwell to finally get his comeuppance from Sonny! But first, watch the scenes where Sidwell comes out of hiding and blackmails Ezra Boyle.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Dante and ‘Nathan’ Have It Out, Valentin and Carly Share Passionate Moments Which May Be Their Last

Published

on

By

On the June 16 episode of General Hospital, the PCPD under acting police commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is in a bit of mess and does not go unnoticed by ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

First, there is the whole Chase (Josh Swickard) defending Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) over Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who he arrested for allegedly tossing Willow in the waters next to the Quartermaine boathouse. Turner has had it with Chase’s good guy act and how he tampered with evidence in her case against Willow for shooting Drew.

Later, Dante and Justine question “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) about Sidwell’s escape while in his custody. Turner is not buying his cover story that he was ambushed by Sidwell and his men. Once “Nathan” left the interrogation room, Turner went in on Dante about having “Nathan” on the force after seven years away, and Chase she views as a “dirty cop.”

However, Dante defends both of his officers, but Justine warned that “Nathan” and Chase’s behavior would reflect poorly on Dante as commissioner and she should really think about that. Later, Dante has a terse confrontation with “Nathan” on how he botched a prison transport and that he better watch his back as Justine is one step away from turning this over to Internal Affairs.

COP MADNESS

Next, “Nathan” apologizes for the way he handled the situation with Rocco and says he feels badly. But then in the twist, Dante said that he was grateful that “Nathan” had been there for his son in his time of need (referencing after Rocco shot Cullum and covered it up).

Then, there’s the newest police officer in the precinct, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett). He may actually be on to “Nathan’s” double life when he questions him about a syringe found in Britt’s room at Bobbie’s. “Nathan” made up a story to counter Joe’s, that he was not aware that his sister was taking anything for her Huntington’s disease diagnosis. Joe called the forensic department lab wanting to know what drug was exactly in the syringe.

BEFORE YOU GO

At Carly’s (Laura Wright), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells her that he must travel to Geneva to speak to the head of the WSB, named Z. Valentin feels it’s the only way to save Josslyn if he informs Z about Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) being a double agent. Valentin shares with Carly that he has to stop Cullum from bringing his dangerous cold fusion device online. Carly is beside herself. She doesn’t want Valentin to sacrifice himself by turning himself into the organization who has made him a fugitive in the first place. Valentin stands firm that he must meet Z in person.

Knowing that revealing himself to the WSB meant he was likely going back to prison, Valentin asked Carly if she’d get in touch with his daughter, Charlotte so he could say good-bye to her. Next, Carly and Valentin make their way to the bedroom to make love, which may be for the very last time, if Valentin is caught and put back in Steinmauer Maximum Security Prison.

Courtesy/ABC

CAUGHT BY CULLUM

At the same time while at Wydemere, Cullum is talking with one of his WSB operatives. Now, he is pondering if Valentin and Sidwell were working together all along.  Next, Cullum entertains the idea of involving the FBI to locate Britt and Rocco. He says he plans to kill them both once he knows of their whereabouts. Cullum sees the only other threat to the completion of the cold fusion project to be Anna Devane.

Cullum wants to track the location of the unidentified person who called the private clinic in France trying to get in touch with Anna, while pretending to be Kevin Collins. When the agent came back with a report, he says it emanated from a cell tower near Shoreline Road. It’s in the that moment that a light bulb goes on for Cullum! Valentin is in Port Charles and hiding at Carly’s!

So, what do you think of the PCPD cops, Chase, Joe and “Nathan?” Who should Dante fire? Do you think Valentin will go the run?Are you digging Carly and Valentin’s relationship and want it to continue, especially with Finola Hughes on her way back as Anna next month on-screen? Weigh-in via the comment section, and in case you missed it, you can check out our latest interview with Dominic Zamprogna below from his appearance on the Michael Fairman Channel, where he talks the PCPD cops, Rocco on the run, and more.
