At Gloworm, while trying to help Gloria with her new electronic registers, Kevin is blindsided when Gloria gives Kevin his divorce papers from Michael just as Chloe arrives with the new issue of RS. Overwhelmed and uncertain about what he wants, Kevin walks out on Gloria and Chloe, who are advising him to close the door on his marriage. Later, Chloe ends up consoling Jana when she breaks into tears over losing Kevin. Victoria prepares to tell Nikki the news about her and Billy’s new home. At the ranch, after a sleepless night, Nikki admits to Victor that she was suddenly hit with the urge to drink and wonders where it came from. Meggie listens out of sight, secretly thrilled that her plan is working. Later, Nikki is going through old family photos when Victoria arrives. Victoria tells Nikki about the house and Nikki takes it in stride until she learns that Victoria bought the house together, they aren’t renting. However, no one is more stunned than Victor when he runs into Billy at the gym and sees his tattoo. Jack and Ashley wonder how Victor persuaded Adam to drop his suit against the Newmans and realize that Skye may know something. Meanwhile, Adam warns Skye about interfering with the suit against the Abbotts after what she did with the Newmans. Later, while waiting to meet with Skye, Jack hears that Victoria and Billy bought a house together from Gloria. When Skye arrives she tells Jack that she isn’t telling him anything about the lawsuit unless there is something in it for her. Meanwhile, Ashley confronts Adam who tries to play the victim but Ashley won’t have it and promises him that she will find out what Victor has on him and use it to nail him to the wall. Nikki isn’t sure of Victoria’s decision but Victoria tells her that because of Billy she is moving on with her life and enjoying it and she doesn’t care what Victor thinks anymore. Meanwhile, both Billy and Victor find a moment of humor as Billy explains why he has a tattoo of Victor’s name on his back instead of Victoria’s name. Later, Billy and Victoria aren’t sure if they should laugh or be wary when Victor sends a tattoo artist to the trailer to finish Billy’s tattoo. Once complete, Billy and Victoria admire the work before leaving to their new home. Skye tells Jack that she wants his contacts to invest in the Newman Fund before she says a word and Jack makes good immediately. Skye turns right around and tells Jack that she was the reason that Adam had to drop the lawsuit against Victor. Meanwhile, Meggie purposefully steers her conversation with Nikki towards alcohol, trying to continue to push Nikki to the edge. Later, Skye tells Adam about her meeting with Jack and threatens that if Adam doesn’t drop the suit against the Abbotts she will tell Jack everything. At Gloworm, Victor meets with Jack and Ashley to tell them what he found out from Skye and Ashley is stunned at the depths of Adam’s cruelty. Ashley leaves as Billy and Victoria arrive to meet Gloria and Jack tells Victor that Billy and Victoria bought a house together.  Jana is crushed when Kevin presents her with the divorce papers and runs out of the coffeehouse without taking them. Later, Jana and Kevin sit together as they look at the papers and Jana asks Kevin for one last chance. Kevin responds by signing the papers and saying goodbye. Meggie spikes a smoothie with alcohol and gives it Nikki. Meanwhile, Victoria is stung by Victor’s seeming indifference to her news about her moving in with Billy. Later, Ashley vows to take everything from Adam that he took from her.

Jack is forced to cover with Ashley when she tells him that Abby is suing Victor for mismanagement of her trust and she tells him that Victor thinks Jack is behind it. Vance tells her, however, that she may not be able to have one without the other. Meanwhile, Jack’s concern grows when he learns from Ashley that Victor plans to dismantle Abby’s trust. Jack asks Ashley to consider that Abby could be right about Victor’s handling of her trust. Later, Abby perks up when Vance tells her that he believes Victor will offer her a settlement. Nikki tries to get Victor to reconsider his position about Billy and Victoria, especially since they are expecting a child but he refuses. Victor leaves to go deal with Abby and Nikki calls Victoria who tells Nikki that they are going to Vegas to get married and although disappointed, Nikki supports Victoria. Meanwhile, Victor goes to see Ashley and Jack to tell them about Billy and Victoria’s news and Jack is no more pleased about it than Victor. Ashley tells them to leave Billy and Victoria alone but Victor tells them that he plans to stop the wedding. Later, Nikki calls Victoria to tell her that she was able to get the waiting period on the marriage license waived so that she and Billy can get married in Genoa City tomorrow.  At Ronan’s motel, Chance confronts his brother for the first time since learning the truth and Ronan doesn’t deny it. Chance attacks him and Ronan tells him to back off and he’ll tell him everything. Paul sends Nina out of the room so that he can call Christine to get background on Ronan. Vance tells Abby that if Victor isn’t willing to settle she needs to decide how far she is willing to take this lawsuit. Later, when Nikki tells Victor that she is helping Victoria and Billy with their wedding, Victor makes a mysterious call to stop the wedding.

Later, Gloria is forced to fire Deacon but Phyllis sees him and decides to invite him as her plus one as a way to stick it to Nick. Chance meets with Heather to apologize to her and ask her to forgive him for biting her head off about going to Ronan. Heather wonders what is going on and asks if he is trying to say goodbye. Chance tells Heather about the drug deal and Heather is immediately panicked. She pleads with him not to go, finally admitting that she loves him, but Chance promises Heather that he will come back to her. Meanwhile, Ronan meets with Owen and Owen tells him that he will be there tonight when Chance arrives and Ronan doesn’t take care of Chance then Owen will have to deal with both of them. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Ashley’s Revenge Plot On Jack Revealed; He Is John’s Son After All!

How many of you saw this coming?  Did you think that Ashley would dupe her brother, Jack Abbott?  Well, if you caught how her plan was executed in her revenge-plot against him on Monday’s episode; you also saw brilliant performances by Eileen Davidson (Ashley) and Peter Bergman (Jack).

As it turned out, after months and months of thinking that John Abbott was not his bio-dad and his continual search for who could likely be his father, Jack gets the bombshell of all bombshells.  He was never anyone else’s son!  Ashley hatched a secret plan to ensure she would stake a claim to the Abbott family company, Jabot and name, and for he daughter, Abby (Melissa Ordway).

Once the truth is out in front of the family and co-workers, Jack asks to speak to Ashley in private and the showdown begins.  Ashley says she was completely justified in making it appear to Jack that John was not his biological father.  When he thinks Victor put her up to this, she revels in the fact that she did this all on her own.

Ashley confesses that it all dates back to last Christmas when Jack threw the blood Abbott clause in her face and made her feel like a fraud.  Ashley goes on to list the many ways he betrayed her and the family and made her feel less than because she was not John’s bio-daughter.  She screams out at Jack that she was sick and tired of being nice and wanted to be as cold and calculating as he was.  She goes on to say how she even duped Dina, who has Alzheimer’s, by planting the seed that Dina had another affair on John.

As viewers we see flashbacks through Ashley of how she pulled-off her plan.  Jack asks, “Who are you?”  He explodes at her that no wonder Dina couldn’t remember the name of his real father; because he didn’t exist!  Ashley even says she was sorry, but then glad, that Jack learned about the now faux-fact that John wasn’t his father in the movie screening of Dina’s documentary, and that she edited in Dina’s confession into the film.  Ashley then goes on to tell via flashback just how she paid off Andrew, the lab tech to handle the DNA results; where she switched her hair sample for Traci’s so it would not match Jack’s.

All of this was done to ensure she would run Jabot.  Ashley tells him she was justified in wanting revenge and she wanted him to know what it felt like to not be a part of the family he grew-up in and that he loved so much.  Jack shouts at her that she is a cold monster, and then starts to take the name plate off  of Ashley’s office door.  He then (in a redux of the classic scene between Victor and Jack, where Jack throws the executive chair that sits behind the desk through a window) throws Ashley;s executive chair through the glass in the front of Ashley’s office into the reception area.  Ashley screams.

Kudos to the performances of Davidson and Bergman! These are tw0 Daytime Emmy-winning powerhouses who we will miss seeing together when Davidson finishes up her on-screen run on Y&R.

So, what did you think of the story twist? Glad Jack is truly John Abbott’s son? Shocked that Ashley pulled off this plot?  What did you think of Eileen and Peter’s performances? Comment below, but first watch the final minutes of Monday’s episode.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Billy Hits The Sheets With Summer As Philly and Shick Go Bust!

On Friday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, the CBS daytime drama stuck with its “A” storyline where Sharon lets Nick have it (and literally too, with that slap to the face) during her nuptials to the man she has always loved.  This all comes about because Sharon, who was late arriving to her own wedding, decided she would out Nick in front of his family and their friends for once again hooking up with Phyllis.

Once the truth come out, Billy and Phyllis who are attending the wedding are gut-punched.  Billy had just proposed to Phyllis.  Now he is devastated and Phyllis admits to him and everyone at the wedding that it is true … she slept with Nick, but it was one time.  After trying to get all the major participants in the reveal out of the church, the drama ramps up even more.

The episode featured top-notch performances by Jason Thompson (Billy), Gina Tognoni (Phyllis), Sharon Case (Sharon), and Joshua Morrow (Nick). In key scenes at the Abbott house, Billy kicks Phyllis to the curb, even though she tries to plead her case as to why the one night tryst with Nick went down.  He is not having any of it. After Phyllis is gone, he promises Jack (Peter Bergman) that he enter rehab tomorrow for his gambling addiction, but first he needs to clear his head.

Meanwhile back at Sharon’s, after Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Noah (Robert Adamson) leave them to hash things out, its apparent that Sharon is not going to forgive Nick, or get back together with him.  She cries and pours her heart out that the fact that of all people Nick went and slept with Phyllis reminds her of all the pain that relationship cost her and them after Cassie died.  Ultimately, Nick packs his bags, just as an upset Faith (Alyia Alyn Lind) comes home. After their daughter runs upstairs, Nick tells Sharon before he leaves that he is not giving up on them being together.  Sharon says she loves Nick, but she does not want to be with him, and he has changed since the J.T. masquerade stunt, and forming his company, Dark Horse.

Elsewhere, as Phyllis drinks out of tiny vodka bottles in what looks to be a hotel room, Summer (Hunter King) is now at the GCAC bar and Billy shows up. Summer asks why he called her and was surprised to hear from him. Billy says she was right, Phyllis is not the woman for him and now that he is no longer with her … he then feels up her legs and begins to seduce her.  The two take it to Summer’s place and hit the sheets, as we cut to Phyllis having a meltdown knowing in her heart that Billy may be having sex with her daughter.

Watch the gripping final moments below. Then let us know; what you thought of the performances and the episode? Are you glad all the couples busted up, or are you upset?  Do you think any time soon Philly or Shick will get back together? Comment below.
