The Talk is welcoming Y&R’s latest major casting acquisition, Jason Thompson to the CBS Daytime family when he is set to appear on the hit afternoon chatfest this coming Monday, February 15th at 2PMEST/1PMPST.

Thompson, who debuted in the role of Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless back in January after ten years as Dr. Patrick Drake on General Hospital, has plenty to discuss with ladies of The Talk: Sheryl Underwood, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, and Aisha Tyler.

Angelica McDaniel, CBS Executive Vice President, Daytime Programs and Syndicated Program Development, first made the announcement of Jason’s appearance via Twitter on Thursday afternoon saying: FANS: Tune into @TheTalkCBS Monday for an interview with @MyJasonThompson!

In addition to Thompson, Grammy Award host and star of NCIS: Los Angeles, LL Cool J, will also stop by promoting Monday night’s 58th Annual Grammy Awards ceremonies live on CBS at 8PMEST!

So, glad to hear that CBS Daytime is bringing Jason Thompson as a guest to The Talk? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!

UGH Blah! Sage , the Dr, The baby switcheroo story. Really can I be real right now. How I feel whether Sage gets her baby back or not , Just rolling my eyes . So ready for a real juicy story not baby drama. Sorry not so sorry . Not feeling anything for the story whatsoever. I want Adam the daddy and Chelsea and Adam broken up. Enough . Get moving on sexy stories as for Billy and Noah come on forget that mess. Lets move on. Noah made a innocent mistake . Next

I really loved Kelly . Pladed by Cady. Her talent was stellar. I loved Sharon and Adam and loved Dru and Neil and Amber and Cane o0r Daniel. Kevin was great with Jana. Best days were 1990’s for me. I fell hard for The Young and The Restless . Sharon and Nick were young and in love

Jason, watch out for that Sheryl Underwood! When Steve Burton was on she practically MOUNTED him! Gross!

LOL Timmm I was about to post a similar comment– they should at least give the man some protective padding if they can’t keep Sheryl enthusiasm in check

Yes Mary and the other problem is ALL the women talk over each other! They should do their topics in the beginning as a group and then only have TWO women interview a guest.

I hate The Talk so much. They all bow down to “Mrs. O” like she’s God’s gift to humanity, then they make fun of anyone with a hint of a moral compass. The only person I can stand on there is Sarah Gilbert because she’s sweet and kind. The rest of them are Osborne butt kissing immoral wenches. They made fun of a celebrity who came out publicly saying she was staying celibate. They’re like a bunch of mean girls in high school with Sharon as the head cheerleader who torments anyone who doesn’t worship the ground she walks on.… Read more »

Hi Ash: you are not…. carried away argh! Britsh aires… no? she capitalized on Americana she came to America the land of the free and had an inroad with Ozzy Osbourne I do not see an ounce or smithereen of appreciate… what she’s worth she is in constant act before any and all camera a little humility… a little care.. a little decent ??? she had an emotional breakdown… had to take upwards of a month away from “The Talk” is she entitled to an aristocracy that we are unaware ? give me an expletive break I see it in… Read more »

GH’s Kristina Wagner On Felicia’s Concern Over Maxie’s Emotional State

While Maxie (Kirsten Storms) knows exactly where baby Louise is, not many other people know, especially her mother, Felicia (Kristina Wagner).

Now, with Kristina Wagner back on-contract at General Hospital, it opens up more angles to play in the ongoing saga of “What happened to Maxie and Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) Baby?”

GH viewers know that Louise is “Bailey” and being taken of by Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).  However, according to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest on newsstands now, look for Felicia to be very worried over Maxie’s attitude toward finding her baby.

Wagner shared to SOD on Felicia: “She is absolutely concerned about Maxie. Why is she behaving this way? Is she traumatized to a point where she is not frantically looking for her baby?”

The actress goes on to say about her alter-ego: “Felicia thinks ‘What is wrong with you?  Your baby’s missing. Why are you not (falling apart)?’ And Maxie says, ‘I have to stay calm for my other children.’  She has a way of justifying it, but Felicia is questioning Maxie’s behavior.”

Look for Felicia to be more determined than ever to help find Maxie’s baby, which we know could spell trouble for everyone!

So, do you hope Felicia learns the truth about Louise, and helps Maxie with her cover-up? Or do you hope Felicia helps get the little one back in Maxie’s arms sooner than later? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Remembering One Life to Live on the 10th Anniversary of its Final Episode on ABC

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the final broadcast of ABC’s One Life to Live. The beloved soap opera was canceled back in April of 2011 along with All My Children, and continued to air till January 13, 2012.

As the story goes, after some false starts, the show wound up in the hands of Prospect Park in an attempted online reboot of the series which lasted some 40 plus episodes, and one season on Hulu in 2013.

Agnes Nixon’s brainchild first took to the airwaves back on July 15, 1968 on ABC, and tackled many of the social issues of our time, delivered unforgettable performances, beloved soap on-screen couples, and often humorous and edgy storylines.

When the soap was initially canceled by ABC, we took to our former site to share our thoughts in the piece here back in 2011.

At the end of its 43-year-run it was then EP Frank Valentini and head writer Ron Carlivati who took the show to third place in the ratings among six soaps, and delivered a one-two punch of heart, humor, and drama to close out the ABC run of  One Life. (We have posted the final episode below).

Through the years the actors who graced the screen were ,and are, some of the all-time great actresses including: Erika Slezak, Robin Strasser, Judith Light, Jessica Tuck, Susan Haskell, and so many more.

It also brought us the talented actors including: Al Freeman Jr., Roger Howarth, Trevor St. John, Gerald Anthony, Michael Zaslow, Robert S. Woods, Ryan Phillippe, Nathan Fillion, and the list goes on.

Below, rewatch the final episode, and the extremely well-crafted and delivered speech given by the character of Viki on the penultimate episode, how soap operas touch so many lives a la “Fraternity Row” (But, as we all know, the show was speaking directly to the longtime viewers at home about their cancellation!)

Those videos are followed two emotional interviews we conducted on the final press day of ABC’s One Life to Live with Kassie DePaiva and Kristen Alderson, then Hillary B. Smith and Robert S. Woods that we are reposting here.

Now, share your thoughts and remembrances of when you watched the final episodes of One Life to Live, and how you still miss it to this day via the comment section.
