41st Annual Daytime Emmy Red Carpet Video Interviews
On-Air On-Soaps Michael Fairman was on the hectic and fast and furious red carpet at the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday night, June 22, 2014. For the third year in a row, the Daytime Emmys were handed out at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, but for the first time live streamed on the Internet as was the disappointing and embarrassing Red Carpet show. However, while the “millennial” hosts on the show were clueless about the stars of daytime dramas, we hope that these interviews and web gems with the night’s big nominees, presenters, soap stars, and executives in our annual Red Carpet Video Gallery captured the spirit, fun, and the emotion of the festivities!
From The Bold and the Beautiful’s Heather Tom, Kim Matula, One Life to Live’s Tuc Watkins and Jennifer Pepperman, The Young and the Restless’ Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom, Camyrn Grimes, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Hunter King. Max Ehrich, and Mishael Morgan, Days of our Lives, Arianne Zucker and Shawn Christian, Eileen Davidson, Eric Martsolf, Freddie Smith, Chrishell Stause and Justin Hartley, Melissa Reeves, General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna, Donna Mills, Finola Hughes, Frank Valentini, Haley Pullos, Ilene Kristen, Jason Thompson, Kelly Thiebaud and Bryan Craig, Kelly Sullivan, Kristen Alderson and Chad Duell, Maura West, Michelle Stafford, Ron Carlivati, Ryan Paevey, Tyler Christopher, and Vinessa Antoine, plus CBS Daytime Executive Angelica McDaniel, Daytime Emmy host Kathy Griffin, and the ladies of The Talk, watch and listen to what these performers and creatives had to say about their Emmy night jitters, what they remember most of Emmy night’s past, (especially if they were a past winner), a preview of what’s to come with their characters on-screen, and some fun, impromptu unexpected moments!
Let us know what your favorite red carpet video interview was in the gallery by posting your thoughts in the “comment” field below. It’s hard to believe that the 41st Annual Daytime Emmys have come and gone! But, we hope these videos will live as a celebration of Emmy night 41 with our colleagues who represent some of the best in the daytime and soap opera genre!

2025 Daytime Emmys In Memoriam: The Stars We Lost Including Leslie Charleson, Drake Hogestyn, Eileen Fulton, and Tristan Rogers Honored During Ceremony
During the 52nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which were presented last Friday, October 17, the ceremony stopped to take a moment to remember those that the daytime television community lost over the last 17 months.
Host Mario Lopez introduced the In Memoriam segment as images of some of the most beloved stars and names in soap operas were given their due. The ceremony was streamed live on watch.theemmys.tv and on the Emmys app and is available for replay.
With the Daytime Emmy ceremony being moved in 2025 to October instead of its usual June summer slot, it meant that the In Memoriam would cover more ground, hence the 17 months of inclusion for those we lost and who’s memory will live on in daytime television history.
