So sexy

This is going to be so good…and with new writer Susan Banks on board, I think things might turn around a bit for this show.

Love this actor, especially on GH and as another famous Susan Banks would say, he’s a bad, bad, bad man!

A great actor. Excelled on both DH and GH.

The character assassination of Paul Hornsby was second only to that of Rick Webber’s in GH history. Neither was the ultimate bad guy they twisted them into at their respective demises.

You are absolutely right about both Paul and Rick. It’s great to see Richard again, I hope the Y&R writers do him justice, he was amazing on GH and is a fantastic actor. I always found myself cheering for him.

Richard is 62 years old, and one hot daddy. Welcome back to Daytime sexy daddy.

yup– I’m going to like the Burgi man..
((ahaa the Burgi man- get it? ahaa!))
I’m sure I will be cheering him to kick some Newman arse!
And– no way is the child Kyles, nope.
He is in no way ready to be a daddy, he will be kept single
and childless for some time to come..
The overly brain-dead Abby baby story wreaks of stupid.
nuff of that baby stuff..

I am excited about this part!! This show needs a BAD villain!!!!!!!!

maybe there is hope for this show yet

Good choice!

Finally some good news on the y n r front!
A good looking mature actor! Hopefully he can makes move on Newman and Jabot since both empires are missing that mature adult vibe. With only Summer, Kyle and Victoria holding down these positions it really lacks the bustle of times gone by when those floors were flooded with all the usual characters, Jill, Brad, Neil, Ryan , Ash, John, Jack etc…sigh
Also add a promising new writer Susan banks and I
hope to read Josh Griffith fired soon! Fingers crossed.

Fantastic casting grab! Looking forward to Y&R improving with these new additions. And please find a strong and sexy 60 year old for Jack! I continue to wish for Beth Chamberlain, but she lives on the East Coast.

This is exciting news. Locke will eat Kyle for breakfast and Jack for lunch.

Mark Y
Too bad he’s married. He’d be a good catch for Victoria and then she could stop running after Billy. I don’t think he’s too old, compared to the sixties Jack with the thirty yr. old Sally. Gee, good thing Kyle doesn’t take after his dad, he’d be chasing Faith.

He was so good on GH! Great to see him coming to Y&R. I hope he shakes up both the Newmans and the Abbotts. Put “Vyle” in his place and wipe that smirk off his face!

Richard is the perfect person to occupy this character. He plays these type of characters so well.

Want the character to hook up with Nicki. She needs some new loving.

Love Richard Burgi, he’s an excellent actor and he’s extremely handsome. He’s the perfect person to go up against Victor Newman, fearlessly. I hope he stays on Y & R permanently. His character is the perfect “kick” the soap needed to add great spice and variety and intelligence.

Want a man like him

GH’s Kin Shriner Remembers Jackie Zeman on the One-Year Anniversary of Her Passing

Today on May 9th, marked the one-year anniversary of the death of Jackie Zeman, who for 45 years played the iconic nurse Bobbie Spencer on General Hospital.

Jackie passed away at 70-years-old from cancer and leaves behind her two daughters, Cassidy and Lacey, and all of her enduring fans, and of course. her GH co-stars and dear friends.

Perhaps, her dearest friend was Jackie’s longtime co-star Kin Shriner (Scott) where for years they shared stories on-screen as Bobbie and Scott, and off-screen developed and cultivated an unbreakable bond.

Photo: ABC

Michael Fairman TV spoke exclusively to Kin Shriner to get his thoughts and his memories of Jackie on what is for him and many, a sad and heartbreaking day.

Kin expressed: “It does not seem like a year. I think of Jackie every day and every day. I am approached often as an ambassador to the old days. Every day somebody talks about the heyday of General Hospital bringing up Bobby, Scotty, Luke, and Laura. And it always saddens me because I know that Jackie would still want to know that the fans still love that period of time and we miss her, and I miss that. I don’t get to come in and have a scene with her again, ever. So, it’s all sad and I can’t believe that it’s a year.

When asked what does he think Jackie’s legacy is, now reflecting on her passing a year later, Kin shared, “Her legacy is that It she changed daytime television in the seventies. She was the catalyst that came into General Hospital and created Bobbie Spencer from the wrong side of the tracks, the fiery firecracker woman that she was.”

Photo: ABC

Shriner added on their deep connection, “Jackie brought it all to the screen and she brought it to real life. She raised two great kids, and was a spitfire of a woman and someone that I enjoyed being around from the day we met to the day she died, I was in her life, and she was in my life. We went through a lot together, you know, ups and downs, and it’s just sad that she’s not here anymore.”

Share your thoughts to Kin’s words on the loss of Jackie Zeman via the comment section below, and also your thoughts that is has already been a year since we lost this daytime icon.

Coming up, make sure to watch Kin and many other stars from the soaps on the Michael Fairman Channel’s very special livestream event Daytime Stands Up  in conjunction with The Locher Room and Stand Up To Cancer on Thursday May 16th from 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
