THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Happy Birthday Steffy Forrester! What Did You Think of the 9000th Episode?

Courtesy/CBS

All hail The Bold and the Beautiful’s Steffy Forrester! Now after all, it is her birthday, and this supermom, wife, and Co-CEO of Forrester Creations is quite the force to be reckoned with.  With today also marking the 9000th episode milestone of the CBS daytime drama series, why not make it a special episode devoted to the character, and its two-time Daytime Emmy-winning actress, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood.

Throughout the half-hour, Steffy spends a few moments with her dad, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), who gets her the the most fashionable of birthday cakes, then presents her with a slideshow of the life and times of his daughter all the way from when she was a child, to a teen, to a young adult.  Steffy has plans for her birthday with her hubby Finn (Tanner Novlan) so she needs to skedaddle, but dad wants her to hang out a little longer with him.  In the end, Finn wins out, and she heads home.

Now at the cliff house, Steffy comes upon a homemade birthday card from her kids, when Liam (Scott Clifton) shows up.  He says he plans on not staying long, although he did stay long enough for the exes to walk down memory lane, complete with the original song from Scott Clifton that aired previously, and a montage of some of the duos most heartfelt moments.

Meanwhile, back at Forrester Creations, Taylor (Krista Allen) and Ridge praise their daughter. Taylor is happy that the former ‘wild child’ has found a man to love her like Finn.

Back at Steffy’s, Finn set the tone for a romantic night celebrating his wife with some of her favorite food and wine.  Steffy shares to Finn that this birthday means more because he came back to her when she believed he had died, and how they received a second chance at a life together.

Cue the flashbacks of Finn, after being shot by Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and Steffy over his body, and later their long-awaited reunion in Monaco where the church bells rang when as they ran towards each other.  Next, Finn gives Steffy a birthday gift.  When she opens it, Steffy finds a small remote. When she pushes the button, the bells from the church in Monte Carlo play.  As Finn and Steffy kiss in front of the fireplace, the camera pans out to a an exterior shot of Finn and Steffy at the cliff house revealing the outside sky and fireworks that go off that say ‘9000’  – a great touch to acknowledge the series milestone.

You can check out the final moments of B&B’s 9000th episode below.

Now, let us know, what did you think of the show devoted to Steffy? Share your thoughts and your congratulations to B&B in the comment section for hitting another milestone in their 36-year run.

Did not watch but just read it so prepare yourself for another round of Liam & Steffy! What a awful outfit she has on

Pretty sure Liam and Steffy will be reuniting again and poor Gorgeous Finn will be out ‍♀️ this sucks lol but I love the drama & I’m so excited to see what they do next!! I Looove Steffy!! She’s the BEST!! Congrats on your 4th pregnancy im so excited for you im praying it’s a girl this time!! You have to have some equality in that house girl you’re outnumbered lol! Hopefully not for long lol! I have a huge feeling though that A certain “Bad Boy” and HOPE will be having some sexy time on set!! Iykyk
I’ve been watching this show since I was like 6 years old & I haven’t stopped since it’s one of my favor soaps the other is Y&R!! B&B & Y&R my favvvvss!! Love you all so much you’re amazing!! ♥️

I’ve never understood hers (JMW) or this show’s appeal. In the 80s with Susan Flannery it was probably good but now it’s seems like woke drivel. I like Heather Tom a lot tho.

A wonderful tribute to Steffy Forrester and the beautiful actress, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who portrays her, in honor of The Bold & the Beautiful’s 9,000th episode.

The 9000th show sucked. I don’t think it should have been all about Steffy. She hasn’t been there for even half that many episodes! It should have focused on the original players still left: Eric Forrester, Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan. (Taylor was not an original character, before anyone jumps on me about including her.) Jacqueline Macginnis Wood is not the show. I’ll NEVER understand how or why she wins the awards she does. She is not a very good actress. And for pete’s sake, she needs to decide if she is going to be an actress or a baby making machine! Now she will br off on another pregnancy leave and the show will be repeating the same storyline and dialogue for months upon months again! I’m not anti-woman or anti-child, but if it’s going to constantly interfere with your job, then pick family or work. Sorry, but I am old fashioned like that.

I agree but maybe they may do other feature shows. I agree the OG’s should’ve been honoured. Brooke is the backbone of the show. Steffy is great too. Happy for them all on 9000!

I do wish it was more about Steffy and her history on the show; both the actress and the character, and a lot less about Finn. But It was wonderful that they recognize this actress for her 15 years PLUS she is number 3 in episode count, right behind Kelly and John. That’s a lot of work! Her loyalty to the show is phenomenal. She deserves the honor. (Despite what the haters in your other comments say).

Yes, so happy for her but they could’ve added something at the beginning re the OG’s to honour them— reflecting on Steffy as a leader and innovator “next gen” type thing. It would have been respectful and inclusive ♥️

Missed the episode as it was pre-empted here in Ca in favor of crappy Soccer.

I have never been a Steffy fan as they started her out being deceptive, coniving and a most dislikeable self-centered character. She always seems to get just what she is after by any means that she chooses. I am just not fond of a character that displays those attributes. Not that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood dosen’t do an excellant job, she does, I guess that may be the reason I dislike her (Steffy) so much.

B.L Robinson,
I couldn’t have said it better myself. She sure takes after her Grandmother Stefanie. Unlike today’s show when Ridge was bragging about passing his artistic talent on to Ridge, Jr., that he inherited from HIS dad, Eric. They forgot that Ridge is not Eric’s s son but Masimo Marone’s.

Christopher Cousins Makes His Y&R Debut: What Were Your First Impressions of Alan Laurent?

Soap veteran, Christopher Cousins (ex-Cain, OLTL et al), made his first appearance on The Young and the Restless on the Tuesday, April 30th episode of the CBS daytime drama.

As previously reported, Cousins is taking on the role of Ashley’s friend/psychiatrist from Paris, Alan Laurent. In story, the Abbotts flew Alan in from Paris to see Ashley (Eileen Davidson) first-class ticket to Genoa City, no less.

Alan recalls to Traci (Beth Maitland) how Ashley was upset after revisiting the cafe where she had the fight with Tucker (Trevor St. John), and had two different versions in her mind of what actually happened. Traci enlightens Alan that Ashley has been having personality shifts from being assertive, to child-like, to taking tequila shots and having a good ole’ time. In addition, that Ashley is having blackouts with chunks of time gone from her memory.  Traci goes on to say that Billy (Jason Thompson) said he once experienced something like this himself with a personality splinter.

Photo: JPI

Traci is hoping Alan can talk to Ashley and insist she undergo treatment. Alan firmly explains that he can’t treat her himself, but he will see what he can do.

When Ashley, now as her alter Belle, comes to the Abbott home after chatting with Diane (Susan Walters) at Crimson Lights, she is thrilled to see her old friend, Alan. Eventually, the two head to Society where a concerned Abby (Melissa Ordway) pours them some champagne.

Photo: JPI

The two talk about Paris as Belle flirts with Alan. She then wonders if he is in town to probe her innermost thoughts. She tells Alan that her family has decided there’s something wrong with her. Alan assures Ashley that he cannot treat her as a patient in the U.S. as he is retired and does not have a license to practice in the states. Alan said he is concerned for her, but would never treat a friend.

Photo: JPI

Belle tells Alan, “The rumors about my mental breakdown are highly exaggerated.” Belle speaks to the other alters, and thinks Alan is the perfect solution for Ashley. She says, “Time for some joie de vivre.”

What did you think of Christopher Cousins in his new role as Alan Laurent? Will Ashley’s alters get Alan in bed with her? Will she set him up for something more devious? Will Alan figure out what is going on with Ashley and pretend to just be her friend, while somehow treating her multiple personality disorder? Let us know in the comment section below.

AMERICAN IDOL: Katy Perry Makes a Heartbreaking Decision as Top 7 are Revealed

It was dramatic American Idol on Monday night. The episode marked the return of the “Judges Song Contest”, where Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie each serve up a song choice for the contestant to sing, and they must choose one and then figure out who recommended that song choice.

As in the past, when it got down to the bottom two from the at-home voting, the judge who scored the most picks of their song choices by the contestants, was in the drivers seat and could ultimately save one of the two performers to sing another day.

After a night of sterling musical performances by Jack Blocker performing Willie Nelson’s Always On My Mind, Abi Carter doing her rendition of Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life, and Emmy Russell performing her grandmother Loretta Lynn’s classic, Coal Miner’s Daughter, the following were safe after the nationwide vote.

Photo: ABC

The aforementioned, Blocker, Russell and Carter, plus Will Moseley, Triston Harper, and Julia Gagnon. However, that left McKenna Faith Breinholt and Kaibrienne in the bottom two. At that point, Katy Perry conferred with her co-judges and announced with tears in her eyes, in an almost impossible choice for her, to save Breinholt, thus Kaibrienne’s run on ‘Idol’ came to an end.

Photo: ABC

The episode also welcomed back former Idol contestants Danny Gokey, Melinda Doolittle and Colton Dixon for a performance of “Shackles,” in honor of former Idol contestant, Gospel artist, and Grammy-winner, Mandisa who passed away earlier this month at 47.

So, did America get the Top 7 right? Did Katy do right by keeping McKenna for the Top 7 and sending Kabrienne home given her choices? Are there too many country artist contestants left in the mix? Share your thoughts via the comment section below. But first watch what happens when the final 7 are whittled down and Katy’s anguised decision.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL: Deacon and Finn Make a Shocking Discovery and Find Sheila

On the Monday, April 29th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, our two sleuths, Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Finn (Tanner Novlan), are looking for clues that Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) could be alive, especially after the homeless man (Clint Howard) tells them he saw a woman in their photo go into an abandoned building and he heard screaming until suddenly it stopped.

Deacon and Finn decide they have to go inside the dingy vacant building and search for Sheila. Once inside, Deacon is overcome, saying, “It’s awful in here. Like something died.” Finn keeps calling out his mother’s Sheila’s name. Eventually, the two end up at a locked gate and see a rat.

Next, they bust open the padlock to the gate and make their way down a flight of stairs, and then split up. During the search, Finn is hearing Sheila and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) voices in his head, but take his flash flight and spots an old mattresses, garbage and a blanket.

Finn shouts, “Deacon, hurry up get in here!” Deacon hurries and they lift up the blanket to reveal a body. Finn rolls the body over and it’s a bloodied Sheila! Deacon is in shock, but takes off her shoe and sock to reveal the missing toe on her foot. Finn cries out, “Mom! Mom!!” We fade to black.

As previously reported, Kimberlin Brown is back as it appears Sheila is alive, and her lookalike Sugar is the person that Steffy stabbed in self-defense. Now the question becomes, what will happen to Steffy when she finds out that Sheila is alive, and she killed the wrong person?

What did you think about the reveal that Sheila is alive as discovered by Finn and Deacon? Comment below. But first, check out a little bit from yesterday’s B&B.
