Sonny and Brenda’s eyes meet just as she is thrust into danger by the Balkan’s thugs.  Sonny manages to rescue Brenda from the kidnapping attempt, and they run away and hide together. Murphy, managing to escape the kidnapping as well, immediately tells Suzanne of the dangerous incident and asks her for the identity of the “dark-haired man” Brenda ran off with. Robin freaks out when she discovers Emma’s favorite toy – tubby puppy – boiling in her lab beaker, and she confronts Lisa angrily in front of everyone at the hub. With her violent outburst, Steve has no option but to suspend Robin. Lisa confides the “truth” in Maya and subtly trashes Robin’s image, as Steve overhears and recognizes that Lisa has gone off the deep end. Patrick is crushed when Robin moves out of the Drake home with Emma. Dante drafts Spinelli and Jason into his quest to find the truth behind Sonny’s shooting of Johnny. Michael opens up to Kristina and Carly about how it will be impossible for him to return to his old life. Matt calls Maxie out on her remorse over Spinelli and emphasizes again his desire to have a relationship.

Brenda explains to Sonny she is engaged to Murphy Sinclair. Sonny tells Brenda that he is on the run due to the shoot-out with Johnny Zacchara. Brenda advises him to go back to Port Charles and face the music, especially for the sake of his children. As Sam overhears, Jason asks Spinelli to uncover everything about Brenda. Under the guise of spending quality time with Josslyn, Carly shows up at Jax’s hotel suite looking smoking hot. Patrick convinces Robin that at least for the time being, they need to work together as a team to protect their daughter.  Patrick sets their plan in motion by letting Lisa know Robin has left him. Jason confides in Sam his fears he will be unable to prove Sonny’s innocence even with Dante’s help on the case. Lulu is flabbergasted to learn that Nik has taken in Brook Lynn and offered her a job. Dante and Lulu make passionate love. Michael accidentally walks in on a scantily clad Lulu, and we witness how the topic of sex causes Michael to majorly overreact.  Patrick continues to bait Lisa, goading her confidence that Patrick is now available. Maxie drops a hint to Lisa that Robin and Emma are in the park as a means to help Patrick and Robin with their ruse.  Lisa arrives in the park to witness Patrick and Robin fighting for her benefit. News of Sonny’s return to Port Charles rattles Dante just as Jason recognizes Sonny may have been set-up by Ronnie DiMesitco. Johnny and Olivia try to restart their relationship, but they wind up at odds over Johnny’s vendetta against Sonny. Nik asks Alexis for help in schooling Brook Lynn in proper British etiquette. Tracy admits to Lucky that she misses Luke and Lucky agrees to help Tracy bring Luke home. Interpol intercepts Lucky and present him a mission to work for the Balkan undercover since he is a dead ringer for the Balkan’s assassin Ronan O’Reilly.

Suzanne is furious when she hears about Brenda’s attempted kidnapping. She insists for Brenda’s own safety that she return to the U.S., but Brenda refuses.  Brenda is grabbed by two thugs. Patrick and Robin hope their staged fight will convince Lisa that she has successfully broken up Patrick and Robin’s marriage. Sonny returns to Port Charles and turns himself into PCPD. Sonny maintains to Dante that he returned for the sake of his kids. Jason and Dante are convinced Ronnie disposed of Johnny’s gun and set out to prove it. They find a construction worker who has cell phone footage confirming Johnny pulled what looks like a gun on Sonny proving Sonny fired in self-defense. Nik finds himself quite charmed by Brook Lynn as he tutors her in proper table manners and etiquette in preparation for the charity event. Telling Lulu and Ethan he is off to find Luke, Lucky accepts the Interpol recruitment to go undercover as Ronan O’Reilly.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Nikolas Gets an Earful from Ava About Sonny and His Meds; Nina and Drew Can’t Seem to Resist Each Other

Ava (Maura West) seems to feel she has a confidante in a jailed Nikolas (Adam Huss) on the Monday, April 29th episode of General Hospital. In story, Ava heads to Pentonville to visit her ex-husband before he is set to get transferred out of state.

When discussing her living relationship with Sonny (Maurice Benard), which Nikolas already knew about, Ava says she is happy about how her relationship with Sonny has been evolving, Nikolas ask if she’s in love with Sonny. Ava denies it, but goes on to say how great it is for her daughter, Avery to be living with both her parents, who are on the same side and not at odds.

Nikolas believes that Ava loves being in Sonny’s inner sanctum and the power that comes with it. Ava fires back that she spent years looking in from the outside and that everyone despised her. When Nikolas brings up Nina (Cynthia Watros), she says Nina never really could understand the true type of man that Sonny is.

Then, Ava launches in on Carly (Laura Wright), and how she would love to stick it to her, for all the times she blocked Ava from seeing her child and Carly’s attitude towards her. Then, Ava admits to Nikolas that she knows that Sonny has a watered-down version of his bipolar medication, which is making him more vulnerable and she’s capitalizing on it for her own gain. She says she needs to figure out who is responsible, but Nikolas voices concern for Ava’s plan and that if Sonny ever found out she knew about it and did nothing, he would be on the warpath against her. Ava promises she knows what she’s doing. When she says goodbye to Nikolas, he looks upset and sad, as he still seemingly cares for Ava.

Meanwhile in Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) office, Nina walks in complaining about Carly giving her a hard time about maintenance in her office. Nina wants payback for Jason (Steve Burton) buying Carly the hotel, but Drew is not up for playing games with her.  She says they both want revenge on Jason and Carly, which Drew denies. Next thing you know, Nina grabs Drew and kisses him. Although, it seems he might walk out the door and away from her, he locks it, and the two proceed to have round 2 of their hate-sex.

Elsewhere, Anna tells Jason about her shooting Charlotte and her concern about Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement with Pikeman. Meanwhile, Valentin visits Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) in Pentonville, where threats are laid out to make Sonny look like the guilty party in eliminating Jason, while Anna is the line of fire, if she doesn’t keep her nose out of Pikeman business, which worries Valentin, who doesn’t want Anna getting hurt in any of this.

So, what do you think about Ava’s plans? Did you like seeing Nikolas back on the canvas? Are you all for a Drew/Nina continued affair? Will Anna get caught in the crossfire only to be saved by Valentin? Share your thoughts and theories via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Sonny and Jason Trade Threats on Each Other

The love affair that once was mobster Sonny (Maurice Benard) and hit man Jason (Steve Burton), and having each others back, is now apparently over! On the Thursday April 25th episode of General Hospital, an increasingly paranoid Sonny is confronted by Jason.

Jason wants to talk to Sonny about a “family matter”, but Sonny says they aren’t family now because he’s working with the Feds. Sonny goes on to say how he cannot trust Carly (Laura Wright) or Jason and he knows about Jason buying back the Metro Court for Carly from Nina (Cynthia Watros).

When the conversation turns to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer), Jason informs Sonny that Kristina (Kate Mansi) knows Sonny ordered a hit. Jason is worried about Dex’s safety. He tells Sonny that if he does something to Dex, Kristina will figure out that he is responsible.

Sonny goes on to say how much he loves his kids and how he will protect them. He then tears into Jason for abandoning his sons, Danny and Jake, for two years and how he has no right to stand there to tell him what to do.

Jason warns Sonny again to leave Dex alone or he’ll personally stop him. Sonny snaps at Jason, countering, “You’ll die trying!” And at that point, Jason walks out and Sonny slams the door behind him.

What do you think about this split in the longstanding relationship of Jason and Sonny? Do you like Jason and Sonny at odds? Will Kristina be the person to ultimately figure out what is happening to Sonny, or it might it be Nina, who knows Ava (Maura West) is up to no good? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first watch this clip from part of the Sonny/Jason scenes below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn and Chase Have Their Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties

On General Hospital, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) both were treated to Bachelorette and Bachelor parties to shake off any of those pre-wedding jitters. At The Savoy, the ladies have a touching and fun time with Brook Lynn.

The bride-to-be gives a speech to thank everyone for coming, while Lois lets everyone know to try the signature cocktail the “Brooklynn Chaser”, which gets everybody eventually and mostly, drunk.

When Tracy (Jane Elliot) questions Lois (Rena Sofer) as to why there is no music for the party, Lois realizes she forgot, and somehow, who does she call to the rescue? Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)! Saving the day, he winds up playing some tunes and later gets on the dance floor to ‘shake it off’ with the gals.

Lois makes a speech as the mother of the bride, and shares how proud she is of the woman Brook Lynn has become. Wedding games begin, including one of “hot potato” with a wedding bouquet.

When it’s time for the “Silly Poses” section of the party, Spinelli has now morphed from DJ to staff photographer taking memorable photos of the ladies to remember the evening by.

The best part of the event, was when Brook Lynn tries to get her grandmother Tracy out on the dance floor, which, at first, she refuses. After several of the guests bust a move, a tipsy Tracy joins the dance party after Joss mentions that if her grandmother Bobbie was here, she would dance. Tracy says “she agrees” and begins to cut a rug on the floor, much to the delight of the other women.

In the final moments, a tipsy Joss and Kristina (Kate Mansi) have a confrontation about Sonny, and Joss lets Kristina in more on Sonny’s behavior, which looks to have clued in Kristina a bit more as to how something is way off about her dad.

Across town at the Hatchett Bar, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and the men with the exception of Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper), all attend Chase’s Bachelor Party where throwing hatchets into a dart board for supremacy is the order of the day. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ned (Wally Kurth) get into some words over ELQ, while Dante makes a toast to his police partner, Chase.

Photo: ABC

Suddenly Dex (Evan Hofer) shows up. Chase thanks Dex for coming, but Dex gets some dirty looks from other cops on the force. Dante gives Chase his present, which is a signed baseball by the Boston Red Sox.

Ned (Wally Kurth) makes a speech that although no one is good enough for his daughter, Brook Lynn, Chase has come closer than anyone has, so welcome to the family. Running in at the end is Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who just left Brook Lynn’s party, and she toasts her singing partner, Chase, and to the great man that he is.
