Nadia Bjorlin Returning To Days of our Lives For More Episodes!

It’s a very busy time at NBC’s Days of our Lives.
And, now that John-Paul Lavoisier is playing Phillip Kiriakis debuting in December, and the reports that Shawn Christian will be exiting Days of our Lives in the role of Dr. Daniel Jonas, a return by Nadia Bjorlin sure seems imminent.
According to Nadia’s official website, she will be making more appearances on the soap opera about to celebrate it’s golden anniversary.
Look for Bjorlin to appear in the early part of 2016. Nadia last appeared on the daytime drama series in August.

Deidre Hall to Guest Star on Season 3 of Comedy Series ‘Hacks’
Days of our Lives star Deidre Hall (Marlena) is set to play a version of herself on third season of Hacks. Look for Hall this month in an episode titled “The Deborah Vance Christmas Spectacular,” to air on May 23 on Max.
Not only will Hall appear in the episode, but so too, will Back to the Future and Taxi star, Christopher Lloyd.
According to EW.com, Deidre will play “a fictional version of herself, who just so happens to be the mom of Paul W. Downs’ Jimmy.”

Hacks co-creator and Downs’ wife, Lucia Aniello shared on Hall’s casting, “It made sense to us that Jimmy’s late father, a big-time manager, would have been married to an actress. When the idea for Deidre Hall came up, it just felt right.”
As for Lloyd, he will portray, reclusive writer Larry Arbuckle, who is to have had a rather famous grandfather. In the episode, Hall and Lloyd’s character intersect, which leads to onscreen sparks.

“We had written some things that were flirty, but the chemistry was palpable,” says co-creator and series star, Downs shared. Hacks stars Jean Smart as comedy legend Deborah Vance.

Season 3 of Hacks debuts on Thursday night May 2nd on Max 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.

Days Of Our Lives
Peacock Raising Subscription Prices $2 Dollars a Month This Summer; Includes Days of our Lives
As the Paris Summer Olympics are a few months away, the Peacock streaming service has revealed its plan for a two dollar summer price hike on its subscription plans, beginning in July for its content which will include Days of our Lives.
According to Deadline, in July, look for the monthly price for Peacock Premium to increase to $7.99. Premium Plus, which offers limited advertising, download capability and live local programming, will now be $13.99, while Annual plans will go up to $79.99 for Premium and $139.99 for Premium Plus.
This price hike will effect new customers starting on July 18th, while existing subscribers will notice the price change on their next billing date on or before August 17th.

This marks the second price change in two years for the streaming service, the previous one being in 2023, which was the first since the service launched back in 2020. The Summer Olympics in Paris which will be on NBC and Peacock run from July 26 to August 11.
The bright spot for Days of our Lives fans, is that unlike if the show was still on network television and NBC, the show would be preempted for two weeks, but with it being on Peacock it will continue with all-new episodes without interruption.

At the recent Days of our Lives 15K episode celebration, Michael Sluchan the EVP, Current Scripted Programming & Limited Series for NBC/Peacock shared that the soap opera is doing extremely well for the streaming service, and they were very happy with its performance.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Preview: EJ is on the Warpath After Finding Out Sloan’s Baby Is Not Hers!
This week on Days of our Lives, storylines look to be heating up, in particular, will we finally get to the root of Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Melinda’s (Tina Hunag) baby switch plot, making Nicole (Arianne Zucker) believe her baby died, when all along the little one has been living with Sloan and Eric (Greg Vaughan) as baby Jude?
Looking at the latest promo for the Peacock streaming soap opera, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is hot on the trail of Sloan after learning some intel from Leo (Greg Rikaart). However, EJ still is unaware that he is not the true baby-daddy, but Eric is. Meanwhile, Eric and Nicole look to be working together again when she gets a job at the Spectator and he is the photographer.
Elsewhere, Konstantin (John Kapelos) activates the “Pawn”, but what will he have him do for him next? Chanel (Raven Bowens) is sick with radiation poisoning thanks to the exposure from her mother, Paulina (Jackée Harry) and watch out when John and Marlena (Deidre Hall) find out that Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) is going to marry Konstantin!

Chloe is one character I could live without seeing and would rather the writers focus on other names they could lure back to Salem!
I think Chloe will fit in quite nicely when Belle and Philip are on canvas. Maybe Parker is Philip’s son after all.

Shawn Christian rumored to be out. WTF? That is not good a move IMHO. If you got he mile to link him to the legacy families, then keep him. The character could use a little reworking but I like Mr. Christian and the potential for the good doctor.
Hope they give her better writing than last time.

I’ve never understood the fascination with this character. Perhaps I missed out on the glory days of her teen years(as i stopped watching then) The last era with the baby not being Philips and her prostitution was not epic soap star stuff.
For a while there, the show was really interesting and different, with Will trying to patch things up with Sonny, and with Paul thrown in the mix as the Professional baseball player who was Sonny’s “ex”, and then to have Derrick around, it was really becoming innovative.
But now, sigh, it is the same old same old “so and so is pregnant but the man she is marrying isn’t the baby’s father”…..that’s only been done to death since 1958 and probably way before then.
Now, the “new writers” have come aboard, and to me, it’s the same old mystery father in town, the rebellious teen age son (Kayla’s son) and of course the who is the secret strangler in town. It’s not TERRIBLE, it’s well acted, it’s just that it’s nothing new or innovative. The actors do the best with the material given to them.
Once Daniel is killed off his son will need Chloe to be his only parent left-Chloe certainly will NOT allow Nicole to raise HER son. We all know that.

In my opinion, I dont think going back to Days would be a good career or personal move for Nadia. She’s been there, done that, and has much more potential, talent and avenues to explore. Never backwards always forward.
