I’d rather have a root canal than watch Donald’s shit show.

92 years old, never thought that at the end of my life I would have someone so hated and disrespected sitting in the White House , that we are supposed to call president. Am so sick and disgusted with the idiots that put him there!

I’m sorry Violet. Your comment made me feel very sad, sad for you, for myself, and for our country. We will get through this.

5he’s being honest. It’s how she feels.

? Lew, your response is confusing. I was commiserating with Violet. I feel the same way she does. I’m being honest too.

Do you promise? Thanks for your thoughtfulness. P,S, I’m very sad too. I would love nothing better than to be wrong about D.T, but have not seen any changes that he might change his ways about destroying America.

That is very well said!

All 77+million of them?

Well said, Violet! At 92, you must have seen it all. But I bet you never imagined you would see a convicted felon be elected president. Truly a sad day for our country. Those idiots that put him there, as you said, they will be sorry by the time it’s over, they just don’t know it yet. But we’ll get through it just like we did the first time. God bless you, hope you have many more years to go!

Most of us want him in the white house….this, his win!!!!! We don’t need another blithering idiot like Biden in there!!!

Julie, agreed !

NO, most of us don’t want him in office. He’s already screwing things up!

Me too I can’t stand him.

So sad for you. He’s the best for our country. To get it done and make us all safe. So wake up and smell those beautiful flowers coming our way.

Sorry you feel that way. But what is done is done. Live your life to the best of your ability and be happy.

I’m Jewish so I will never feel comfortable with a fascist in the White House that dines with anti-semites.

Good one!

Well I hope you don’t benefit from anything the next 4 years

Don’t worry. He won’t. And neither will you not anyone else who isn’t an oligarch.

Well bless your heart.

And I will have my television tuned into the Food Network all day long while painting and wallpapering my entry with the Arctic freeze

I love the Food Network! It’s very calming.

Same Here.

I did the same thing! Food Network and Destination America, watching Hawaii Life, and Beachfront Bargain Hunt ALL DAY LONG! I couldn’t stomach watching that ridiculous buffoon be sworn in.

Joe may have been a “blithering idiot” as someone else said, but this one isn’t any better, in fact he is 100 times WORSE! He isn’t going to do ANYTHING for anyone except the rich.

I’ll watch my stories and I’m not wasting my time on watching a twice impeached convicted felon return to the White House. Thank you, but no thank you.
He’s not my President! He’s a mega big loud liar and a convicted felon.
I’ll watch my soaps and catch up and recognize the holiday of MLKDay that is worthy to recognize and appreciate.
Thank you

Amen!!!

Sadly, I’m afraid were in for another 4 years of this dragonshit. ABC would preempt GH every time the Orange Felon farted in his previous fraudministration, and they will do it again now.

NBC did the same with Days, but now that it’s on Peacock, at least that won’t happen this time around.

The CBS soaps haven’t aired in Hell, but I’m negotiatiing to get “Beyond The Gates” down here. It’s not going to be a good thing for them trying to launch a new show, if the network is always preempting it everytime Herr Cheetofuhrer’s ego demands it.

Boy howdy amazing what the fake media has done to our country. Go Trump. Fight, Fight, Fight!.

How’s the weather in Vladivostok today, troll?

I will be tuning in, supporting Donald Trump & Vance. However, Not on ABC with that David Muir chump.

Sadly, it’s not David Muir that is the Trump, oh sorry, chump.

Trump just moved the inauguration indoors because it’s going to be too cold for him! This has disappointed his legion of followers who went to great expense to watch their guy sworn in. They will be left out in the cold while Trump and his oligarchs stay warm inside. This not only serves up a preview of the coming nightmare, it serves as a self- contained metaphor.

I just thought he moved it indoors, making it harder for Snipers to get to him.

He said it was going to be too cold despite it being much colder during Obama’s swearing in. Many are speculating that due to his obsession with crowd size, he’s bringing it in so it won’t be glaringly obvious, as it was in 2017, that he garnered a tiny crowd. That, and the fact that he’s overly concerned about his orange combover being mussed, are all factoring into his decision to bring it inside.

You’re resorting to name calling like your “president”, who does not give a fulling fork about you.

Not going to watch one second of the Inauguration. I wish I could avoid political news for the next four years.

Good day to have TCM on and watch the classic films. Going to need some good quality escapism!

No, thanks. I will have my British soaps on, watching QUALITY, well-produced scripted drama.

Do you mean, you aren’t watching our Soaps?

Hi Violet. Have you ever tried Coronation Street? It is quite good, and does have a large older cast, Ken Barlow is 92 and Rita Tanner is 91 and have good storylines.

So sad. What a hateful string of posts. Maybe China or Russia should take us over? Maybe you would be happy in that kind of world?

Sorry to tell you but after Tuesday it will be Russia or China here!! Have fun with what I’m sure you have put into the White House!! Don’t worry you will be sorry before this long tragic 4 years is up!!

Not necessarily true! A lot of his followers like what he does and apparently approve of his beliefs and methods. It makes me so sad that my school-age great-grandchildren will be growing up under his regime. I can at least hope his age will do him in before he does too much damage to their growing minds and bodies.

Wait, WE are the hateful ones? Trump’s entire campaign was predicated upon hate. Trump is best friends with Putin and President XI and he is hostile to our allies so your protests are for naught.

Russia is a nice place but they need more golf courses. I’m trying to make a deal with my good friend Vladimir Putin to make that happen. Trump golf courses everywhere! And we will build them in Greenland too!

As for China I love their bigly beautiful wall but they should have made Mexico pay for it. Xi is a tremendous guy and he gave my beautiful daughter Ivanka many trademarks to sell her clothes made by child labor. We’re going to have that in America believe me!

MAGA!!

Ha ha!! Thank you. A much needed injection of humor.

It’s always so amusing when Trump supporters criticize others for saying something “hateful” or calling someone a name. It’s almost as if Trump doesn’t do that with every breath he takes! lol

I pity all you Trump haters. Y’all refuse to admit that your corrupt, senile occupier really hosed up America. I did not support either candidate but a great majority did. So I will support and pray for him. I fought in Laos and Cambodia for 3 tours as a 13E to preserve your freedom? Makes me have 2nd thoughts.

Thank you for your service and speaking of which, does it not bother you that Trump referred to fallen soldiers as a bunch of “ suckers and losers” or said that John McCain was no hero because he was captured by the enemy? If President Biden is indeed senile( I don’t believe he is) than his list of accomplishments will serve him well in the history books. Conversely, Trump is a power mad, wanna be dictator with no scruples or integrity. Moreover, thanks to SCOTUS, his power as president will be largely unchecked. With dementia rapidly advancing upon Trump, the mixture of autocracy and dementia will be alarming. And he’s surrounded himself with an inept, woefully unqualified, morally bankrupt cabinet choices and appointees. That should disturb you, Dick.

I love your intensity and indignation! Well done!

So, Harry, Trump NEVER referred to the Fallen as “suckers and losers” Secondly, McCain gave away top secret information to his captors. In the eyes of most who served with dignity, he is no hero. WOW, I see you drank the Kool Aide !!!

Four witnesses overheard him say it including a high ranking general- it is an undisputed fact. This, after he cancelled going to the American cemetery in Paris to honor the fallen soldiers because a light mist might ruin his hairdo. And John McCain is a hero. For you to suggest otherwise is a disgrace.

So sorry for all you Trump haters. He is and always will be the best President for our country. Go Trump. Fight, Fight, fight! For our country to make it strong again and not a laughing stock for all to see. The Lord has got him and his back for our protection and prosperity.
Biden was not even present the last four years. The Biden administration ruined our country. Now Trump has to fix it and get us back on track. Go Trump!

Yeah, he was the best president for YOUR country. alright.

It’s wonderful that vets like yourself watch General Hospital!

Hooray! Time to clean house and restore the country, probably too late though.

The love was felt around the world during the Sunday, June 7 livestream conversation featuring enduring Santa Barbara Daytime Emmy winners, A Martinez and Marcy Walker who played Cruz Castillo and Eden Capwell on the iconic NBC soap opera. The popular duo reunited for this special one-day only special event honoring their most memorable of daytime roles.

Santa Barbara was globally a hit, and nothing illustrated that more than having attendees from 20 countries and over four continents participate in and watch the live chat moderated by Melissa Braverman, the author of Santa Barbara: The Complete Story due out this fall.

While many were not able to purchase the initial livestream when the ticket costs were revealed to be $100,  A Martinez previously clarified the event was to also raise money for Walker, who is currently facing a very serious health situation, now there is a way to catch the replay at half the price.

HOW YOU CAN STILL CATCH A AND MARCY’S LIVESTREAM

Michael Fairman TV can share exclusively that if you missed the chance to see and listen to what A and Marcy had to say, On demand access is available at the event link for a half price at $50 (guests can contribute up to $100 if they so chose). Like the livestream, 100% of On demand sales for the recording will be available for a limited time only, and also go toward Marcy’s medical expenses.

There was plenty of laughter, tears, and reminiscing through the the two and a half hour chat which included: some memorable footage and images from the love story of Cruz and Eden. At one point, Marcy reflected on the enduring impact and affection for Cruz and Eden. “You hope that whatever you do in this life, that you’ll make an impact of some kind,” expressed Walker. “It doesn’t have to necessarily be wrapped up in success or career or anything like that, but I think we all want desperately to feel like our time here blessed someone. To hear that somebody’s life was even a moment better because of what we did is a massive gift.

A AND MARCY’S DESIRE TO WORK TOGETHER AGAIN

In a moment that brought joy to those in attendance, A and Marcy both expressed a sincere hope and desire that one day they can work together again. Martinez explained, “There’s more avenues to pursue now than there have ever been. I would say just keep a good thought for it. I’ve been holding it for decades, and I fully intend to do whatever I can to make it happen. We’re engaged in trying to make it happen. And you know, we’ll see. I know we both want to do it.” Marcy simply nodded and responded “Amen.”

Melissa Braverman shared with Michael Fairman TV, her sentiments on hosting the Santa Barbara favorites. “Seeing A and Marcy together again, even virtually, was an absolute gift. It instantly reminded all of us why we fell so hard for Cruz and Eden in the first place. Their undeniable chemistry leaped off the screen and straight back into our hearts, proving that the magic they created all those years ago hasn’t faded one bit. Sharing in equal parts laughter and tears felt like catching up with old friends. It just meant the world to see them side-by-side again and to see how this incredible fandom showed up for Marcy during such an important time for her.”

So, if you attended the livestream chat with A Martinez and Marcy Walker, what did you enjoy hearing about the most? Now the tickets have dropped to watch the replay On Demand, would you want to check it out? Let us know via the comment section below.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Officially Confirms Ryan Quan Returning as Co-Head Writer Beginning in July

Published

There is definitely a shake-up going down at the writing team at Peacock’s Days of Our Lives. Now, the long-running soap opera has confirmed, what has been previously reported, that current General Hospital breakdown writer, Ryan Quan is heading back to his old stomping grounds in Salem. This time as the series co-head writer.

The appointment of Quan comes with the official news that current co-head writer, Paula Cwikly, who was previously rumored to be departing the series, is not. She is staying with the soap opera and transitioning to a consultant role with the show. Now, Quan will join current co-head writer, Jeanne Marie Ford to steer the ship for the characters on the canvas.

On Wednesday, TV Insider, reported the official confirmation and that Quan will return to DAYS next month in July. In a statement to the outlet, executive producer, Ken Corday expressed, ‘We are lucky to have Ryan back in the fold. There are very few people who have such a deep knowledge and understanding of our show’s history. Stay tuned!”

THE FUTURE OF DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Since Days of our Lives unusual production schedule tapes ten-months ahead of air, the new creative team’s vision led by Quan and Jeanne Marie Ford are not expected to stream on Peacock until mid-2027.

Days of Our Lives is currently renewed through its 63rd season. The former NBC soap opera which transitioned to Peacock in September of 2022, celebrate its 60th anniversary in November of 2025.

The writing regime change comes after NBCUniversal Media Chairman Matt Strauss revealed that Peacock is expected to turn a profit for the first time in the current quarter, punctuating their investment with the enduring soap opera on its platform.

As for Quan, his knowledge of Salem is tremendous. Ryan joined Days of Our Lives as a writer’s assistant in 2007 after some time over at Passions. He then spent two decades and held every position on the writing team where he previously served as co-head writer from 2016-17 alongside Dena Higley.

Later, when Ron Carlivati took over as head writer for 7 years in 2017, Quan became his right-hand man and main story consultant for his deep knowledge of the history and the legacy of the show. After Carlivati exited the show in 2024, General Hospital hired Quan in 2025.

So, what do you think about DAYS making it official with Ryan Quan as the new co-head writer of the series alongside Jeanne Marie Ford. What do you think about the fact we won’t see the changes on-screen till 2027? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

ABC Announces ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Texas Spin-Off Gets Straight-to-Series Order

Published

By

In a surprise move, coming a week after ABC unveiled its 2026-2027 fall television schedule, Grey’s Anatomy is getting a new spinoff co-created by the original series’ creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes.

The new untitled medical drama will be written and executive produced by Rhimes and Grey’s Anatomy showrunner/executive producer Meg Marinis under the Shondaland and 20th Television umbrella. In addition, long-running ‘Grey’s’ star Ellen Pompeo will also serve as an EP of the spinoff.

The upcoming new series will debut midseason in 2027. This will be the first of Grey’s franchise not set in urban city or West Coast locale. According to Deadline, the new “edgy drama is about a team at a rural West Texas medical center — the last chance for care before miles of nowhere.”

Photo: ABC

In a statement, Marinis shared, “I am incredibly excited to expand the Grey’s Anatomy universe. This opportunity will bring new characters and stories to life that will embody the same heart, emotion and connection audiences have loved from Grey’s for more than two decades — all set in my home state of Texas. I am so grateful to Shonda Rhimes for creating this dynamic world and feel so fortunate that I get to be a part of it.”

A NEW GROUP OF DOCTORS IN RURAL TEXAS

The Texas spinoff will feature a a new group of doctors, but there will be some connection to the OG Grey’s Anatomy and possibly to Debbie Allen’s character of Catherine Fox. The amount of episodes in the series order has not yet been determined. Previous Grey’s Anatomy spinoffs were the defunct Station 19 and Private Practice.

Previously, Grey’s Anatomy was renewed for its upcoming 23rd season while the amount of episodes is unclear.  The last two seasons the series produced 18 episodes.

It should also be noted, Grey’s Anatomy and the Texas spinoff would likely share a time period, which requires limited-run orders for both with Grey’s premiering in the fall, followed by the spinoff on the midseason programming block.

So, what do you think about a Texas spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy coming in 2027? Who would you like to see from daytime or primetime as some of the featured roles as new doctors? Put on your casting directors hat and let us know via the comment section below.
