Adrienne Barbeau, who soap fans last saw on General Hospital as Suzanne as part of the dreaded Balkan storyline, has been cast in a juicy role on the hit ABC primetime soap, Revenge!

Barbeau will play the mother of Victoria Grayson! Yup, the role played by Madeleine Stowe!  Now that means, both the leading female characters mom’s are on the canvas this season in the Hamptons!  As has been witnessed so far in season two,  Emily Thorne’s mom (Emily VanCamp) is being played by Jennifer Jason Leigh!

Revenge creator Mike Kelley teased Barbeau’s entrance to TV Line  as Mom Harper,  “She is somebody who knows how to use people.   She taught Victoria what it takes to survive with very little, with your wit and your looks, really.  We will learn how the monster that is Victoria Grayson was put together, and we’ll learn that there’s a lot of damage that went into this little girl that became Victoria Grayson — and that it was at the hands of her mother. So, Emily and Victoria will share a lot more than they would have ever expected in terms of family.”

What do you think about the former Maude alum, and 70’s sex symbol, being cast as Victoria’s mom?  Thumbs up? Weigh-in!

This should be an interesting twist, huh? Kind of hated her on “General Hospital” until she turned evil! Hopefully she’s evil on “Revenge”!

I look forward to this. I like REVENGE very much but hope there are not too many characters coming and going. I like to get to know characters very well. Would like to see William Devane return. Casting for this series is excellent!

Revenge keeps getting better with every episode and leaves me on the edge waiting for more!
(if daytime soaps were just half as good as the prime-time soaps they would have millions of viewers)

I wonder how Adrienne likes play “Mother” to a woman only 13 years younger?!?
I am looking forward to seeing her on “Revenge” though.

WATCH: Nancy Lee Grahn, Jane Elliot & Kim Zimmer in ‘Covid Support Group’ Episode Two

Over the weekend, General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) along with her creative partner. comedian, Kaore Bonell released episode two of the hilarious send-up ‘Covid Support Group” which features Grahn, and two other powerhouses known for their performances on daytime drama: Jane Elliot (Tracy, General Hospital) and Kim Zimmer (Ex-Reva, Guiding Light).

In episode two, Bonell and the three women are joined by a very special guest; when none other than former Los Angeles District Attorney, who tried the OJ Simpson Murder Trial, Marcia Clark, shows up!  We won’t tell you what happens, you’ll have to check it out to see.

Watching Zimmer as a boozy version of herself, Grahn with her brilliant comedic timing, and Elliot who is also perfection in this, is just too fun that every soap fan will get a kick-of, and even if you don’t watch daytime, think about how everyone is going stir-crazy during the coronavirus pandemic, and amp it up a bit and you have the genesis of this oh-so-timely series.

Best line of episode 2 was from Grahn:  During confessions during Covid, she says to the support group, “I bitch-slapped a guy who was hoarding toilet paper at CVS, does that count? Or does Erika Slezak get my Emmy for that, too?”

Watch Covid Support Group 2 below, and then let us know what you thought of it via the comment section below!

GH’s Mark Lawson Fuels At-Home Workout With Soap Opera Competition: “Dante, Dante, Dante, Dominic, Dominic, Dominic … But What About Dustin?”

As fans and colleagues of General Hospital and former One Life to Live star, Mark Lawson (Dustin, GH) know, he often posts on his Instagram account at-home workouts from his garage including: exercises with: kettlebells and free weights. In real-life, Lawson is a fitness guru, as well.

In one of his most recent posts over the holiday weekend, Mark used the constant chatter of a potential return of Dominic Zamprogna to GH to reprise his role of Dante Falconeri (which would pit Mark’s school teacher alter-ego Dustin at-odds with Dante, for the love of Lulu (Emme Rylan)) to charge up his workout routine! So what’s a guy to do?  Bicep curls!

Next, fueling his workout in a hilarious send-up, Lawson, as he is curling dumbbells remarks: “You want Dante back? Dante, Dante, Dante … Dominic,Dominic,Dominic … It’s all you talk about.  It’s all you care about, but what about Dustin?  What’s up with Dustin?  Where’s good guy Dustin? School teacher Dustin, who never shot nobody.  Never hurt anybody and all he wanted was a girlfriend.   All everybody talks about is Dante, Dante, Dante. Dominic, Dominic, Dominic.”

You can watch Mark’s IG post below!

Then let us know, if you hope there will be some healthy soap opera competition for the love of Lulu down the line between Dustin and Dante, if Dominic returns to the show.  If he does return, would you be Team Dustin or Team Dante? Share your thoughts via the comment section.
