Another big addition was announced late this afternoon to the all-star of Crystal Chappell’s new web series, Beacon Hill! All My Children favorite Alicia Minshew, who just wrapped the series Tainted Dreams, has joined the soap set against a political backdrop in the key role of Sara Preston.

According to the Beacon Hill website, “Sarah Preston is now a reporter in New York.  Sara reluctantly returns home to find her family more broken than when she left. Suddenly face-to-face with the family and lover she left behind, Sara is forced to come to terms with the consequences of past decisions.”   Minshew will play Crystal Chappell’s (Claire) daughter, and sister to John-Paul Lavoisier (Eric)!

Alicia took to Twitter shortly after she was announced as joining the Beacon Hill team relating, “Excited to work with the cast of @BeaconHillWeb! @sarahjoybrown,@crystalchappell ,@_MelissaArcher ,@jessicamorris01 to name a few! Lucky me!”

So what do you think about Alicia as the choice to play Sarah Preston?  Is this show getting more and more intriguing as more of your daytime favorites keep being added to the mix?  Comment below!

Lol, I was thinking the sam thing. I guess Crystal’s character was probably a child bride, maybe married and a mother before she was old enough to graduate from college. I do have to admit all the casting so far have me drooling with excitement for this new web series.

I suppose this means she won’t be returning to the role of Kendal Hart Slater on
ALL MY CHILDREN.
Should we all start wondering if Kendal will be re-cast?
