Alison Sweeney Reports Back To DAYS! TV Mom Deidre Hall Relates It's a Joyous Day!

It was a year ago around this time that Alison Sweeney completed her nearly 22-year-run as Sami Brady DiMera on Days of our Lives! The actress who had been busy with other projects including the most highly-rated Hallmark Movie on the network of all-time, Murder She Baked Murder, A Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery, made her return to the set of the NBC soap opera today for the show’s upcoming 50th anniversary storylines!

Sweeney’s TV mom,  Deidre Hall (Marlena) posted a picture of her and Sweeney with a message on her official facebook page that related:  “Some days are better than others. And some days are utterly joyous! Today is such a day.”

Now the question is, what will Sami do when she returns to Salem?  How will she pick up with her life post-EJ (James Scott)?  Will Sami ever find out that EJ just may be very much alive thanks to an injection via Kristen  (Eileen Davidson)?

What do you think should happen to Sami when she gets in the mix with the Salemites?  Are you glad to hear that Alison Sweeney is making a return to honor the show’s upcoming huge milestone?  Let us know!

Hopefully Days will b watchable again.

DAYS has been watchable for quite some time.

It was SUCH a blessing to have Sami gone for quite awhile, I didn’t miss her in the least.

I am a straight male. I loved Adrienne and Kate….that saggy old ho…having a fight. Lol. They were arguing about who is classier……lolol..um….pointless fight there!

Parts of it, 4ever. When will comes on, I just push that little button with the fad-forward arrow. I don’t know how much longer I have to digest this guy….and John Black.

You are funny or dilusional or actually both. The ratings are scary and everybody and their mothers know and say this soap is totally boring.
Sami was their saving grace for many years but AS has so much better to do, she can be successful HER outside of daytime. She doesn’t need Days as much as Days need her..that’s for sure

It seems many miss her Rachel, given the pathetic ratings this soap has since she is gone..mouahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Thunk she should set her son straight.

She cant…Will is gay…lol

Can’t wait.

Hopefully they can resurrect E.J. and bring James Scott back too!

To me, the show would benefit from some updated sets and some storylines with a bit of intrigue. I thought the whole bit with Kristen returning just to fall out of a window was idiotic and the “painted backdrop” that was supposed to be Italy was just plain embarrassing to watch.
I like Alison Sweeney but whether or not she will find out that EJ is alive through a magic injection is anyone’s guess. It was my understanding that James Scott would not return unless this is for a guest cameo appearance.
I suspect that once the show has it’s 50th Anniversary that it may be a wrap, and I hope that’s not the case, but if it is, then DOOL has had a pretty long run!

I looked forward to Kristen’s return but this time around i consider it too contrived…wouldve been better had she got pregs by Erik and tried to pass the child as Bradys…Brady would get custody of the baby, become attached over the next 6 months, then learned the child he thought was his is really Eriks!!! They couldve created more drama with that storyline!!!

I am okay with her coming back,

Sami may be in danger because of Stefano. I hear he is out for blood because of Kristen’s “death”. If not Sami it could be someone else in Marlena’s family who is on Stefano’s hit list. Maybe even Arianna!

Ali Sweeney is doing a favor to Days by coming back but it will be a short visit (too bad for them and their ratings..lmao)..because she has better and bigger things to do..simple as that.
