Actor, host, husband, and multi-tasker, Cameron Mathison (Ex-Ryan, All My Children) is set to star in a new digital series out of Canada entitled Cameron’s House Rules!

The new series gives fans a behind-the scenes look at the Canadian actor’s home life as he takes on a difficult renovation of his own. The web series gives fans even more access to this Games of Homes host with an inside look at his Los Angeles home.

All five 3 to 5 minute webisodes of Cameron’s House Rules premiere Tuesday, March 17 on WNetwork.com, W View and W Network’s YouTube channel, the same day as W Network’s biggest competition series ever, Game of Homes, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on W Network.

“I was so inspired and I had so much fun on Game of Homes that I wanted to do some work myself, on my own home. I knew that my family would love the idea, so I brought them in on it and we tackled the home renovation together,” said Mathison. “I’m very excited to have people see this side of me, unscripted and working at home with my family”.

In the digital series, Cameron’s House Rules, Cameron Mathison rolls up his sleeves and takes on a renovation of his own. Challenged by the toughest of clients – his wife Vanessa and children Lucas and Leila – Cameron sets out to transform their dilapidated garage into a beautiful family room for their weekly movie nights. Before Cameron became a TV host, a regular on All My Children and a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, he received a university degree in Structural Engineering from McGill, so he is definitely up for the challenge. But with only five days to get the renovation done, Cameron gets a taste of what the contestants faced on Game of Homes as he handles surprises, tight deadlines, and an unexpected living situation.

What do you think of Cameron’s new digital series? Would you like to see him back on daytime on one of your favorite soaps?  Comment below!

Yes I agree Kate, I love Cameron Mathison he is a wonderful actor. Young and The Restless need to hire Cameron or General Hospital. I want Cameron Back in Daytime now.

THIS IS WONDERFUL NEWS!!! The busier he remains, the better chances he will not return to any of the four remaining soaps.

This made me laugh out loud. I’m with you, Leo, just never saw the appeal.

I’m impressed he keeps finding little gigs outside of soap acting. A web series is pretty obscure but he is working fairly steadily. Happy for him.,

He was so overused on ALL MY CHILDREN, I never thought he was that great an actor, more of a Personality.
I have zero interest in this new show.

One Life to Live & All My Children Reunion Event Photo Gallery

Over the weekend, actors who appeared on two beloved legacy soap operas: All My Children and One Life to Live took part in a reunion event held over GH Fan Club Weekend.  And while the fans in attendance were excited to see some of their favorites, it was the former cast members themselves getting to see their former co-stars for the first time in years which made the event all the more touching.

Then, in big surprise to the attendees, none other than former One Life to Live star, Nathan Fillion showed up to give hugs to his former castmates including: Erin Torpey (Ex-Jessica), and James (Ex-Max) and Kassie DePaiva (Ex-Blair), among others.  Fillion, who has gone on to primetime success with his show Castle, and his upcoming new series on ABC, The Rookie, has never forgotten his beginnings in show business as Joe Buchanan!  Who can forget his on-screen affair with Robin Strasser’s Dorian, which sent Viki (Erika Slezak) into orbit!

Kassie DePaiva (now Eve on DAYS) told Michael Fairman TV on Fillion’s appearance that she had reached out to him to let him know about the event: “I knew the fans would love it.  He is very proud of his roots.”

When asked about seeing the original Blair, Mia Korf, at the same event whom she had never met, Kassie said, “I went, ‘There’s the real Blair,” but it was really nice meeting her.  You know with One Life to Live actors, even if you didn’t work with somebody there is such a camaraderie, which makes this show so special.”

All My Children fans were thrilled to see appearances by Rebecca Budig (Ex-Greenlee), Vincent Irizarry (Ex-David), Jordi Vilasuso, who will soon be seen in his new role on Y&R, and played Dr, Griffin Castillo in Pine Valley, and many more.

Check out our photo gallery of some of the past cast from both AMC and OLTL who showed up to say “hello again” to each other and the fans below.  Then, let us know if it makes you miss Pine Valley and Llanview all the more in the comment section, and which photo you liked the most!
