We don’t need the show. I’m so sick of entertainers telling us what is good and how we should think about things. Hope her show crashes.

Poor FOX net work, to have a show about;
cooking, belly dancing and self defense, and Jenner will also share exclusive details on her new granddaughter, North West. …………..Yuck..
Good thing for FOX it is only a six-week trial run.. lol

The networks trying to save money by airing talk shows and giving the viewers cheap crap shows, will eventually fail and no longer be ..

Cameron Mathison, however, is a very good talk show host ..

Well, I pray that rumor is just that……a rumor. I didn’t say he was a horrible actor, I just don’t want him back on the show. The last year and a half or so….revolved around Ryan, and I don’t want to go through that again. I think AMC is doing great right now, and they don’t need Ryan at all.

I really do have a resentment…. of REALity ‘stars’. resentment may sound strong… but… there’s no other way to put it…. where are the days when stars found their way… they hit and miss… they evolved through the hollywood contract star system… and fought for their light… and deserved the accolades… ouch…. based on looks…. and what? because of a catch all phase… they can’t act themselves… so it’s scripted emotion – less….. and we’re to believe… Kris Jenner is a STAR? what does she believe? I am not interested. she has to pander to the public… and it’s demeaning…… Read more »

Cameron, you are awesome. However, this show will be cancelled quicker than anything ABC has cancelled so don’t get comfortable. Any Kardashian is going to be a bore and NO I will not be watching.

This is NOT a permanent gig for Cam…he’s a GUEST co-host.
There is a list there of the other co-hosts that will have the misfortune of co-hosting with the hostess with the leastest.

I have never had any interest in the Kardashians – Kris included. Since she is having one of my favorite actors, Cameron Mathison, on her first show, I may watch it if it is on here in Orlando, Fl. Probably will not watch many of her shows as I am not a Kardashian follower. Cameron, yes. He is a very good actor and I hope he comes back to AMC soon. Kris chose Cameron for her first show most likely because she knows Cameron has a lot of fans. Shrewd lady!!!!!!

We have a great actor…Cameron M. from ‘All My Children’ and the most annoying reality star…Kris J. from a terrible and trashy reality series about ‘All Her Boring Children’…

As long as she’s not on ABC, CBS or NBC. I’m okay with her being on fox networks. She’s not affecting soap operas.

IF the show gets picked up, it will be primarily an NBC show just like Katie is primarily an ABC show.

The Kardashians have no talent. All this woman does is pimp out her children. It’s disgusting.

I like Cameron and am always glad when he gets a new gig. But this? This woman, Kris, is a whore-mongering, fame hungry child pimp who has no other reason for being than attempting to be famous in any forum she can. On past reality shows she has largely been an incoherent blubbering mess whose biggest issue was grunting while she played tennis. Lest anyone think I would actually ever willingly watch a show about the Kardashians, LOL, it was on while I was at a friend‘s place and she told me I had to watch it because it is… Read more »

I want Cameron to come back to AMC where he will always be welcome and succeed. Kris Jenner, I will not watch her nor the show. Kardashians remind me of Paris Hilton, they have money but are not interesting and have no viable talent.

I am all about people succeeding, but this is one show that I hope will fail. Kris Jenner has reached the point where she thinks she is “God like” and she needs to be humbled in the worst way. She just doesn’t get the message that the public is burned out on the Kardashians. How much more money does she need? I also think that this is one reality show that is not going cheap with the set or the host. I can promise you that she is getting big bucks. If she wasn’t, she would not be doing it.

TONIGHT: Kim Delaney Stars in Lifetime’s ‘The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother’s Hunt for Justice’

Make sure to catch General Hospital and former All My Children and NYPD Blue star, Kim Delaney (Jackie, GH, Ex-Jenny, AMC) tonight on Saturday, February 20th when her highly-anticipated Lifetime movie debuts beginning at 8pm EST/7pm CST which marks the cable network’s 400th original movie.

In The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother’s Hunt for Justice, it tells the story of Mari Gilbert’s search for the truth behind what happened to her daughter Shannan, a sometime escort who disappeared after a ‘date’ on Long Island.

After Shannan (Katharine Isabelle, Hannibal) fails to come home, her mother Mari (Delaney) knows something is terribly wrong. Pleading to police to take her concerns seriously, she keeps pushing the police for answers. Mari’s insistence that her daughter not be overlooked eventually leads to a horror hidden on Long Island for more than a decade – 19 bodies of young women discovered buried in shallow graves along Ocean Parkway in the area of Jones Beach State Park. Though the search for the killer is still ongoing, Mari’s passionate dedication to giving her daughter and other forgotten women a voice, and the attention they deserve, has kept the case alive with hopes of a breakthrough soon. The movie not only follows a mother’s tireless search for the truth, but it also digs deep into the murders, including Shannan’s, that have gone unsolved for so long.

Delaney’s film, executive produced by Deborah Norville, is based off real life-events that transpired in the early 2010’s where the crimes were never solved.

In an interview with 98.1 WOGL Radio’s Glenn Kalina, Delaney shared: “There is hope in the film… but you also want an answer… what happened to all of these girls?  My character just was relentless trying to find her (daughter) or find answers where she was.  They found a bunch of other bodies, and what they learned was that they were all escorts… and then they learned there was a possible serial killer.”

Check out a promo for the movie below.

‘ABC Daytime: Back on Broadway’ Raises $130,565 For Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS In Four Day Streaming Event

Last week, ABC Daytime fans were thrilled to see some of the archival footage and performances from the ABC Daytime: Salutes Broadway Cares benefit concerts by those who were once in the mighty soap programming block that included: All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital.

While only GH remains, viewers still loved seeing many of their favorites perform in the streaming event, ABC Daytime: Back on Broadway, from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which featured footage from those events that ran from 2005-2011 in front of a live audience in New York City.

The 2021 online event, which kicked-off on February 11th and streamed for four days, featured new content with daytime favorites including: Susan Lucci, Cameron Mathison, Anthony Geary, Kelly Ripa and more, plus performances from the past benefits, and an original dance performance from Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) on the set of GH.

John Dietrich, who directed each of the ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares concerts, wrote and directed the stream. It was presented in partnership with ABC Owned Television Stations’ websites around the country with support from Good Morning America and The View.

According to Broadway World, in total, the ABC Daytime Back on Broadway event raised $130,565. The streaming total includes a matching donation of $50,000 made by Broadway Cares supporters The Dream Alliance.  Now, when combined with the seven-year run of the annual concerts, the ABC Daytime stars have raised $2,020,565 for Broadway Cares.

As part of the event week, Michael Fairman chatted with former One Life to Live star, Catherine Hickland (Ex-Lindsay Rappaport) about her performances over the years at the event, her role of Lindsay and her on-screen feud with Nora (Hillary B. Smith), and more.  You can watch it below.

What did you think of the ABC Daytime: Back on Broadway streaming event? Did you enjoy seeing the performances? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

Kelly Ripa on All My Children Primetime Reboot: “It’s a Darker Look at things, and I’m Very Excited About It.”

According to talk-show host, executive producer, and former All My Children star, Kelly Ripa (Ex-Hayley), the highly-anticipated reboot in the works of the beloved soap, will be focused on the children of familiar characters from the town of Pine Valley and have a much darker feel than its original daytime counterpart.

The series that everyone has been talking about is, of course, Pine Valley, which is being executive produced by Ripa, along with her husband, Mark Consuelos (Ex-Mateo), and Andrew Stearn.

Photo:ABC

Kelly, who is celebrating her 20th year on ‘Live’, spoke with Entertainment Weekly where part of the conversation turned to what she could share on the AMC reboot.

Ripa expressed how the original cast would fit into the new updated version of the soap: “We would be the parents, and this show is really more about the children of Pine Valley.”

She went on to say, “It’s a darker look at things, and I’m very excited about it. It was pitched to us and we were like, ‘We will absolutely produce this. And we want to be a part of it.’ Immediately we called Eva LaRue (Ex-Mara), all of our friends, and we started saying, ‘Just be at the ready. Get ready.’ ”

Just as fans are excited about the return to Pine Valley, so is Ripa: “All My Children is responsible for every singular good thing that has happened in my life. I met my husband there, I had my children there – not in the studio but pretty close; they kept you there until your contractions were five minutes apart, as we like to say.  It’s from there that I got the talk show. It’s from there that I got Hope & Faith…. and our first production deal. So it’s truly responsible for every good thing in my life that’s happened to me.”

So what do you think about the edgier All My Children on the way? Who would you like to see cast in the younger set to play some of the kids, and their love interests, of the Santos and Kane families, etc? Comment below.
