Another Wedding DAYSaster! The Guests Are Shown A Video Of Kristen In Bed With Father Eric!

This week on Days of our Lives, Kristen (Eileen Davidson) plans for revenge on Marlena unravel once again, but do they unravel altogether?
It’s the wedding day of Kristen to Brady (Eric Martsolf), and as family members are gathered to witness the union, and with Father Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) presiding over the ceremony, something goes terribly amiss!
As you will see in this new NBC promo touting one of the big November Sweeps storylines, the video clip that was on the flashdrive that Marlena (Deidre Hall) had found is shown at the wedding ceremony, sending shockwaves throughout the church. Kristen looks horrified!
Next, Eric realizing it was Kristen who drugged and raped him, not Nicole (Arianne Zucker), lets everyone know what she did! Only, Brady doesn’t believe him and hauls off and hits the guy! So, will no one believe Eric’s story which is the truth? Is there something missing from the video that has key evidence that would save Kristen for her crimes against Eric?

Why would they think he would lie…he never showed any interest in Kristen…but maybe she’ll reverse the rape accusation and reveal she is pregnant by Eric? However, with E.D. leaving the show the truth must come out, and Kristen will go to prison(like another commentor mention) and she’ll have her baby…Eric wins custody, leaves the priesthood, and will raise the child with Nicole but will have to deal with Grandpa Stephano…i hope!!!
Even if Kristen made it look like Eric came onto her, why didnt airhead Brady at least tell Kristen she couldve said ‘no’ and walked away!!!
They already showed that Kristen is not pregnant and cannot get pregnant. False alarm.

Yeah, we can hope. I already hate that she’s leaving. I wanted her to marry Brady and be happy. That would be the best revenge.
I guess i missed that part when i was in hospital…but you never know when it comes to these shows plus i thought it would make things more interesting…Kristen would be horrified if Nicole was raising her child and Marlena would be horrified to have Kristen be the mother of one of her grandchildren…endless story possibilities for years to come!!!
Well, Kristen did have the video edited to make it look consensual/Eric came onto her. So if there was ANY defense for Brady sticking by Kristen, it would probably be that. That’s just my guess though.
But OH BOY! This looks DELICIOUS!!!! I CAN NOT WAIT! This is going to be a good week!
But, why would Brady stick by Kristen even if it was consensual? She still would have cheated on Brady–with his brother– and lied about it…Then, again, Brady isn’t the brightest crayon in the box.
I don’t think Brady would see it as cheating, given that 1) he and Kristen were broken up; 2) he slept with Nicole during their break; 3) he already told Kristen that if she was with somebody during their break he wouldn’t be mad (…but then why he wouldn’t be mad about her lying about not being with somebody I don’t know, or like you said, the fact that it was with his brother of all people).
That was just my hypothesis. We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out. For all I know, maybe he’ll blame Eric for the set up! That would definitely go in line with Brady is a dumb-dumb.

Ah it must be time for me put the snow tires on the car and get the snow blower ready– because I know winter just around the corner when the leaves change, the nights get colder, November sweeps and all hell breaks loose on Days. All typical signs of late fall.
And if true to form cannot wait to hear the wonderful quips old Vic will have to say about this wedding going down the tubes. My only beef is all those strangers filling up the pews. I guess it is cheaper to pay extras than to fill the church with real cast members– pity– because I really don’t care how wedding guest #8 reacts to the news. I would rather had Stefano, or John etc there, but otherwise it looks like it is going to be another great wedding day reveal– one for the soap’s history books.

This show really is on top of its game! I cannot wait to see this! Love Eileen and will miss her, but this needs to come out. I was annoyed with the length of time it was taking, but looks like it is so worth the wait. DAYS and GH have both become can’t miss, I cannot stand it! I hope Nicole goes bezerk on them for not trusting and believing in her. I wanted her with Eric, but so torn about that now. Like her with Brady also, and she and Daniel actually work together and then of course there is Liam. I like the idea of Eric having to raise a Dimera, but kind of doubting Kristen is pregnant.

Thanks SZima, The storyline is distasteful. You don’t have to rape priests to write compelling stories. I can hope a baby won’t follow, but I’m sure it will, and even though Eileen is a wonderful actress she can’t act her way out of the fact that she’s too old to conceive.
That too…too old! Even if a 54-year old woman could get pregnant, chances of a healthy baby are questionable.

I absolutely love Eileen Davidson! Eileen is the reason I began to watch DOOL again. Unfortunately, when she leaves, I’ll probably go back to watching it here and there. Eileen is just as talented as she is beautiful! I can’t wait to see the wedding!
I have never been a fan of the pairings of Brady Eric and Kristen. In the story Kristen is a generation older than those boys. However…Eileen is so good at playing whack job bat shit crazy that these fallout scenes should be amazing! It is such a surreal experience to see her effortlessly step into her role of the warm and compassionate Ashley on her mother ship show while stil airing as kristen

What I don’t understand is how Marlena could let Victor or whoever show that video in public. Hasn’t she considered what that will do to Eric … as well as Brady?

I am hoping there is so much more to the Jordan story. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in that production meeting where someone said ” I’ve got a GREAT idea! Let’s hire a pretty, popular, charismatic girl from All My Children. But let’s make her dowdy, unattractive , boring, and isolate her from the main cast for months on end, and feature her in scenes only with Rafe! Awesome idea huh?”
I know this show tapes months in advance, but this regime has to know that Rafe is NOT popular with the audience! He is very much a dead weight character who drags every other character down into this weird vortex of unlikability. He has long outlived his relevance or usefulness on the show…which was sketchy to begin with. It really seemed like the show was trying to bring Passions viewers over (all 7 of them) and they created the I’ll conceived Hernandez family.

These writers do not grasp the character of Jennifer Rose at all!! Jennifer is not a weepy wring her hands kind of person. She is spunky and courageous and takes matters into he hands.
She has also never been judgmental, so the constant scenes of her Theresa bashing are especially harsh. Theresa is the daugter of a lifelong family friend…and Jennifer would want to help her…not call her terrible names and try to ruin her.
If the real jennifer was this way..she would have nothing whatsoever to do with Kristen. Kristen did vicious unspeakable things to Jennifer’s mother Laura back in the day….and she took great happiness in doing them. She almost killed Laura and probably would have if other methods hadn’t worked to keep Laura quiet.
The show is so well written these days and many characters are behaving totally true to form (Victor), or have had refreshing new life breathed into them (Marlena, Adrienne) or are just on fire totally (Nicole,). But these writers have really missed the mark with their interpretation of Jennifer. I hope Melissa Reeves’ longtime popularity will not falter because of the writing.

53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Announced: ‘The Young and the Restless’ Tops With 18, ‘Beyond the Gates’ With 16
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the full list of nominees for the upcoming 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, and it was CBS daytime’s The Young and the Restless and broadcast television newest soap opera, Beyond the Gates that racked up the most nominations with 18 and 16, respectively.
The full reveal on Tuesday follows the announcement of several major categories including Lead Actor and Actress on Monday via Extra and Entertainment Tonight and The View today revealing Daytime Drama Series and more.
The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmys ceremony is set to take place on Friday, October 30 at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California.

In a statement, Adam Sharp, President and CEO of NATAS expressed, “We’re proud to honor the extraordinary talent and creative teams whose work continues to define and elevate daytime television, As the Daytime landscape evolves and new forms of storytelling emerge, we remain committed to recognizing the innovation happening across the industry.”
“Each year, the Daytime Emmy Awards celebrate the creativity, passion, and dedication that drive this vibrant community of storytellers,” said Rachel Schwartz, Head of the Daytime Emmy Awards. “Congratulations to this year’s nominees, whose work continues to entertain, inspire and connect with audiences every day. We look forward to celebrating their remarkable achievements in Hollywood this October.”
The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of genres, including daytime dramas, talk series, entertainment news, culinary, adventure, instructional and legal/courtroom programming.
This year’s Lifetime Achievement Honoree, Gold & Silver Circle Inductees, and ceremony host will be announced at a later date.

Monday on Entertainment Tonight, the second set of nominations for the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced which included the highly-coveted Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series – Actress and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series.
ET followed suit after Extra announced the nominees, as previously reported, in the Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series – Actor and Outstanding Daytime Talk Host.
Now, five leading ladies of the soaps are vying for the gold for Lead Actress and the category marked the first-ever nominations for CBS daytime’s Beyond the Gates when two actresses made the final cut. Only General Hospital is not represented among the actresses this year after Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) took home the trophy last year.

THE FIVE LEADING LADIES OF THE SOAPS ARE …
The 2026 Lead Actress nominees are: Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera), Days of Our Lives, Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree), Beyond the Gates, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), The Young and the Restless, Heather Tom (Katie Logan), The Bold and the Beautiful, and Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree), Beyond the Gates.
This marks the first Daytime Emmy nominations for Karla Mosley and Tamara Tunie. In addition, this marks the first-time in her career that Stacy Haiduk had received a Lead Actress nod after two Supporting Actress nominations.
Meanwhile, Michelle Stafford had previously won 3 Emmys – 2 for Lead Actress and 1 for Supporting, but this recognition makes it her 11th overall nomination.
Heather Tom currently is tied for the most all-time Daytime Emmy wins with One Life to Live alum and General Hospital guest star, Erika Slezak. The B&B star has 19 nominations throughout her career.

In the Outstanding Daytime Talk Series category, the nominees are: 3rd Hour of Today, The Drew Barrymore Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Live with Kelly and Mark, Today with Jenna and Friends and The View.

It’s Daytime Emmy nomination week, and as previously reported things kick-off on Monday, July 13 when Entertainment Tonight (7pm ET) will announce the nominees for Lead Actress category and Daytime Talk Series for the upcoming 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards. In addition on Monday, Extra (7pm ET) will reveal the nominees for Lead Actor and Daytime Talk Host.
On Tuesday, The View (11am ET) starts things off with their announcement of Daytime Drama, Entertainment News program and Outstanding Daytime Personality-Daily. That is followed by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) full reveal of all the categories beginning at 12noon ET/9am PT on their website and their official social handles on X and Instagram.
Then, Tuesday night at 8pm ET/5pm PT join Michael Fairman as he hosts his 12th annual Daytime Emmy Nominations Special 2026 live on You Tube’s Michael Fairman Channel where he will chat with some of the just announced nominees as we celebrate the hard work of the men and women in front of the camera who will be going for gold.
WHEN ARE THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
This year, the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out on October 30 in ceremonies in Hollywood, California (Venue yet to be revealed). At that time, as like last year, both the major categories and creative arts will be presented. There is no word yet on a broadcast partner for the annual celebration of daytime programming, or if it will soley be streamed on NATAS’ watch.theemmys.tv and various apps and platforms.
