ATWT Fave Jon Hensley to visit The Bold and the Beautiful as new Doc! Will it turn into long-term?

Fantastic news this evening! One of daytime’s favorite leading men and one of the nicest guys we know, Jon Hensley (Ex-Holden Snyder, As the World Turns) is set for a two episode arc on The Bold and the Beautiful!

According to TV Guide,  “Hensley will play a doctor involved in Hope/Liam/Steffy’s triangle! Hensley’s character doesn’t have a name yet but a rep for B&B revealed the doc will come to the rescue when one of the three young characters is involved in a life-threatening accident in Aspen.”   Another accident?  Didn’t Steffy just have one in Cabo?  Clearly the young contingent should not travel to any locales because Urgent Care seems to follow!

B&B will be taking advantage of Aspen Colorado’s Fashion Week where the episodes will be shot next week with the episodes beginning to air the week of April 20.   Hensley’s appearances air May 1-2.   This is the second time the CBS soap will shoot in Aspen.

But the big question, would B&B just bring in Hensley for just two days? Or could there be something more in the works?  Are you excited to see Jon back on daytime again? Let us know!

Good news indeed! I had such admiration for the ATWT acting company. AS with OLTL and AMC, there was something about them being based in NYC that made the daytime drama better for me.

As for Hensley on B&B, I hope it can be long term, but we know how non-family members fare on this soap. There seems to be difficulty in integration and long-term storylines.

How many things about this disturb me? First his real life wife got shafted royally by a Bell soap, 2nd two episodes why would he get rid of 4 characters on the canvas for someone who we don’t even know, 3rd he has said he is only focusing on this silly stuff with Liam/Steffy/Hope. How much money can you make on 2 episodes? Jon go get a real job the Bells are poison.

I was happy until they said he would be involved in the hope/steffy/liam disaster! So sick of that stupid story line. What happen to the other players on the show?

So glad to see Jon Hensley. I watched ATWT from childhood and would love to see many of the stars show up on B&B & Y&R.

AFTER BEING A TOP STAR FOR 25 YEARS ON ATWT, HE DESERVES RECOGNITION AND A TOP SPOT IN LA NOW THAT THEY HAVE MOVED THEIR FAMILY TO THE WEST COAST.
