Jack and Janet are unable to resolve their differences. Liberty finds Jack at Brad’s grave and asks him if he’s returned to town to make her mother’s life better or worse. Jack can’t promise anything. Liberty tells Janet that if Janet needs to take Jack back, then she’s moving out.  Brad wants to injure Simon so he’ll be sent to the ER and eventually arrested.  Margo releases Simon from custody after noticing how he’s made Katie smile, for the first time in a long time.  Simon sees Carly at Al’s and she wonders if he’s falling for Katie again.   Simon and Katie share some tender moments.  Henry goes with Katie to Brad’s grave, and it’s very difficult for Katie to let go or say goodbye.  Brad befriends Mary, a girl who died in a car accident years ago.  She tells him he might be able to make contact through an intermediary.  Brad asks Henry to try it out and later we see him jump into his body.  Katie and Simon share a warm moment over Jacob. At the Lakeview, Brad, having leapt into Henry’s body, enjoys being corporeal again. Henry struggles to regain control of his body, but Brad won’t let him. When Vienna arrives at Henry’s door, “Brad” (Brad in Henry’s body) blows her off. He goes to Katie’s bearing gifts for Jacob. Brad holds Jacob for the first time. Katie’s suspicious about the way Henry’s acting, since “Brad” doesn’t impersonate Henry very well. Meg and Lily’s fight at Fashions.  Damian pulls Meg off Lily and takes her outside. He assures Meg that he’ll tell Lily the truth, and they can be together, before the renewal of the vows can be done that day. Holden takes Meg home, but he doesn’t see her sneak out so she can catch watching the wedding from the terrace at Lily’s house. Everything goes smoothly until Lily sees Meg through the window. Lily let’s Meg in. Meg demands that Damian tell Lily the truth, Wounded Meg’s about to admit all to Lily when Damian collapses.  Damian has collapsed and is rushed to the hospital.  Holden, Molly and Luke examine the cake that Damian ate just before keeling over, and find a fine white powder on the platter.  Molly surmises that Meg put the poison on the cake to get Lily.  Meg visits Damian in the hospital and we see that he slips a bag with some of the powder into her purse. Meg confronts Damian in his hospital room, but Damian acts like they never had an affair. Meg screams at him just when Emma comes in to find her. Meg tells all about how Damian obscured the fact that Holden’s DNA didn’t match the body in the car in Kentucky. Damian has Lily request for the DNA papers to be faxed to the farm. When they arrive they say that the DNA matches Holden’s. Meg can’t believe it. She demands someone bring her her cell phone so she can call Grady herself. Molly searches through Meg’s purse for her cell phone and instead finds the baggie of powder. Meg convinced she’s being set up, rushes out before anyone can stop her. Molly and Holden search for her at the Lakeview, where they share a charged moment. Lily and Damian return home. Exhausted Lily goes to check the door and pull back the curtain when she sees the lock has been broken. She turns to find herself face to face with a wild-eyed Meg.

When Craig admits that he still has feelings for Carly, he wants to be the man Ro sees when she looks at him. Carly, pitying him, finds Ro in Fashions returning her wedding dress. Carly convinces her to forgive Craig. Emily feels the rejuvenation from Mick’s product – so much so that when she’s tested, the nurse gives her the news that her hormone levels are dropping, increasing the chances of her having a baby.  Mick has used his laser pointer to get Paul to pass out.  He takes a vialful of Paul’s blood.  He goes back to his hotel room to look at it but Barbara gets there and his vial breaks.  Barbara returns to Mick’s room later to leave him a note, looks through a drawer for a pen and finds a ring with the initials “J.S.”   Dusty and Teri get used to working together at Metro, he as owner and she as chef.  Teri gets jealous when Janet gets a job as hostess/manager of Metro.

Days Of Our Lives

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Julie Stands Up to MarDevil; Susan Seaforth Hayes Reminds Us Why She is Soap Royalty

Friday’s episode of Days of our Lives brought with it, let’s just say, not your typical Turkey Day episode in Salem.  It also moved the story along with MarDevil being exposed!

At Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) Thanksgiving, Doug (Bill Hayes) shouts that Marlena (Deidre Hall) is the devil. However, Marlena still insists that Doug is delusional and needs to be locked back up.  It is then that Julie stands by her husband.  Julie is on to Marlena and wonders if she should call “Marlena,” who she truly is at the moment, “Satan”.

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) also believe something is terribly wrong.  Marlena tells them this is ridiculous, but Belle wants to hear what else Doug has to say.  Then, Shawn handcuffs Marlena to take her down to the station for questioning.  Julie doesn’t believe for one second that handcuffs will restrain the devil, and she was right! MarDevil breaks the cuffs and flings Shawn across the Thanksgiving dinner table complete with food-a-flying, leaving him unconscious.

Now with yellow eyes and lights flickering, MarDevil goes after Doug and Julie, but Julie stops Satan in his tracks professing “Not today, Satan!” Just then, MarDevil grabs a knife and in a counter move, Julie holds out her rosary saying love is the power and that the God of love is stronger than the devil! Julie defiantly tells MarDevil that the truth is out and Satan’s reign of terror is over! But MarDevil turns the tables and sneers, “It will never be over!”

It was in these scenes opposite Deidre Hall, that Susan Seaforth Hayes shined as she has done for decades given the material, as Julie went the toe-to-toe with the devil and Susan made us believe that love can win out over everything, especially the love of Doug and Julie.

In another touching moment in the episode, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tells EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) from her hospital bed, how she used herself as a human sacrifice for the devil to keep John alive and to protect her son.  An emotional EJ can’t believe that Susan was willing to die for him. However, Susan explains that a mother always protects their child and she would do it all over again when faced with that decision.  Haiduk and Feurriegel also delivered in these scenes.

With John (Drake Hogestyn) freed by Anna (Leann Hunley) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis), he eventually makes his way into the Horton house to confront MarDevil, but Satan is gone.  Instead, John finds Shawn with Doug and Julie and they inform him that MarDevil had left to fulfill her true purpose.  Just then, Marlena arrives at Ben (Rob Scott Wilson) and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal). We fade to black.

Now below, check out Susan Seaforth Hayes in a scene from Friday’s episode as Julie fends off the devil.

Then, let us know, what did you think of Susan’s performance? What do you think MarDevil will do next to Ben and Ciara and “their” baby? Did you enjoy the Susan and EJ scenes? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

After the big win, Shumbert told Entertainment Tonight, “Hats off to the work that we put in. I think me and Dani set our mind to that when we got that 40, that we don’t want to just to drop off now and just steam out of the competition. On Tuesday and Wednesday’s episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, Jack (Ted King) finally admitted to Li (Naomi Matsuda) that he is Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) biological father.  Li is devastated because not only did he lie for years and years and never told her or their  son, but he had been with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown).

In a solid performance by Ted King, Jack tries to explain away his bad mistake all those years ago, as Li finally learns about his tryst with Sheila that produced Finn.

He goes on to say how he loved and cared for Finn his entire life and has been a good father to him.  Li acknowledges that, but Jack still lied to both of them.

Watch two pivotal scenes below featuring Ted King and Naomi Matsuda below.

Then let us know, what you think will Finn will do once he learns Jack lied all of these years, and if you think Li will leave Jack, or will Jack be able to repair his marriage? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
