Jack and Janet are unable to resolve their differences. Liberty finds Jack at Brad’s grave and asks him if he’s returned to town to make her mother’s life better or worse. Jack can’t promise anything. Liberty tells Janet that if Janet needs to take Jack back, then she’s moving out.  Brad wants to injure Simon so he’ll be sent to the ER and eventually arrested.  Margo releases Simon from custody after noticing how he’s made Katie smile, for the first time in a long time.  Simon sees Carly at Al’s and she wonders if he’s falling for Katie again.   Simon and Katie share some tender moments.  Henry goes with Katie to Brad’s grave, and it’s very difficult for Katie to let go or say goodbye.  Brad befriends Mary, a girl who died in a car accident years ago.  She tells him he might be able to make contact through an intermediary.  Brad asks Henry to try it out and later we see him jump into his body.  Katie and Simon share a warm moment over Jacob. At the Lakeview, Brad, having leapt into Henry’s body, enjoys being corporeal again. Henry struggles to regain control of his body, but Brad won’t let him. When Vienna arrives at Henry’s door, “Brad” (Brad in Henry’s body) blows her off. He goes to Katie’s bearing gifts for Jacob. Brad holds Jacob for the first time. Katie’s suspicious about the way Henry’s acting, since “Brad” doesn’t impersonate Henry very well. Meg and Lily’s fight at Fashions.  Damian pulls Meg off Lily and takes her outside. He assures Meg that he’ll tell Lily the truth, and they can be together, before the renewal of the vows can be done that day. Holden takes Meg home, but he doesn’t see her sneak out so she can catch watching the wedding from the terrace at Lily’s house. Everything goes smoothly until Lily sees Meg through the window. Lily let’s Meg in. Meg demands that Damian tell Lily the truth, Wounded Meg’s about to admit all to Lily when Damian collapses.  Damian has collapsed and is rushed to the hospital.  Holden, Molly and Luke examine the cake that Damian ate just before keeling over, and find a fine white powder on the platter.  Molly surmises that Meg put the poison on the cake to get Lily.  Meg visits Damian in the hospital and we see that he slips a bag with some of the powder into her purse. Meg confronts Damian in his hospital room, but Damian acts like they never had an affair. Meg screams at him just when Emma comes in to find her. Meg tells all about how Damian obscured the fact that Holden’s DNA didn’t match the body in the car in Kentucky. Damian has Lily request for the DNA papers to be faxed to the farm. When they arrive they say that the DNA matches Holden’s. Meg can’t believe it. She demands someone bring her her cell phone so she can call Grady herself. Molly searches through Meg’s purse for her cell phone and instead finds the baggie of powder. Meg convinced she’s being set up, rushes out before anyone can stop her. Molly and Holden search for her at the Lakeview, where they share a charged moment. Lily and Damian return home. Exhausted Lily goes to check the door and pull back the curtain when she sees the lock has been broken. She turns to find herself face to face with a wild-eyed Meg.

When Craig admits that he still has feelings for Carly, he wants to be the man Ro sees when she looks at him. Carly, pitying him, finds Ro in Fashions returning her wedding dress. Carly convinces her to forgive Craig. Emily feels the rejuvenation from Mick’s product – so much so that when she’s tested, the nurse gives her the news that her hormone levels are dropping, increasing the chances of her having a baby.  Mick has used his laser pointer to get Paul to pass out.  He takes a vialful of Paul’s blood.  He goes back to his hotel room to look at it but Barbara gets there and his vial breaks.  Barbara returns to Mick’s room later to leave him a note, looks through a drawer for a pen and finds a ring with the initials “J.S.”   Dusty and Teri get used to working together at Metro, he as owner and she as chef.  Teri gets jealous when Janet gets a job as hostess/manager of Metro.

General Hospital

General Hospital’s Réal Andrews and Finola Hughes Deliver the ‘Power Performances of the Week’

Two different storylines, two noteworthy performances, and both from General Hospital, made our weekly kudofest.  The first, belongs to the heartbreaking performance that still has everyone talking by Réal Andrews as Marcus Taggert.

Last week’s episodes of GH, brought with it the results of the DNA test that ‘proves’ just who is Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) biological father, Taggert or Curtis (Donnell Turner)? When Trina opened the envelope to reveal the answer in front of Portia, Curtis and Taggert, she announced it was Curtis, who was her dad.

However, if you watched the scenes carefully, you saw the subtle work by Andrews as he was attempting to remain calm before receiving the answer and what followed afterwards, but that was in front of Trina, Portia and Curtis and his attempt to put on a brave face through it all.  In reality, Taggert was devastated by the news.  When he said his goodbyes, Taggert got inside the GH elevator.  Once there, he lost it and began to cry, punching the elevators walls with his fist.  A five-hank

Meanwhile, Finola Hughes once again showed us the layers and the veracity of Anna Devane. This time, while at WSB headquarters, Anna’s past as a double agent comes to light.  Agent Hersley had her under arrest, as she is being accused of treason against the state.

While Anna’s past as a DBX double agent were known to the agency, they weren’t known to the public. Thanks to Victor’s will reading and the revenge plot he set in motion against her, now Anna is up against more formidable foes.  When speaking with her lawyer, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), Anna says how can she dispute the charges against her when they are true?  She realizes in this instant that the WSB wants to hang her out to dry to cover their own asses.  Hersley threatens Anna, that if she fights the charges, they will be forced into looking into the actions of her associates, Robert Scorpio and Annie Donnelly.

Not having it, Anna throws down saying she will seriously embarrass the WSB if they pursue this … and if anything happens to Robert, Annie or anyone else she cares about, she will take the bureau down with her.  After Hersley caves, Martin asks Anna what happened. Anna states she is no longer an agent and will never be again.

This material gave the mighty Hughes the material to shine, as Anna went from having the rug pulled out from under her, to fighting back, to now not knowing what her future holds after saving others.

For all the reasons cited above, Michael Fairman TV names the work of Réal Andrews and Finola Hughes as last week’s ‘Power Performances of the Week”.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown: Roman Reigns Discards Jimmy Uso From The ‘Bloodline’, Will Jey Be Next?

While Roman Reigns was presented with a new WWE Universal Championship belt courtesy of Triple H, a night of familial drama would ensue for The Bloodline on Friday Night Smackdown.

Last night’s episode was also pivotal to Reigns enduring run as the kingpin of the WWE. The Tribal Chief has now held the championship for over 1,000 days. The last time any wrestler approached that was 40 years ago with the legendary Pedro Morales.

After Reigns was presented with a shiny new belt (that Triple H secured around Roman’s waist), out came the Usos. Earlier in the night, Reigns’ special counsel, Paul Heyman, told Solo Sikoa that he received confirmation from WWE official Adam Pearce that Sikoa’s brothers (the Usos) would not be in attendance.  Well, he heard wrong!

As Reigns was about to address the crowd, the music hit and standing in front of the champ were Jimmy and Jey.  Now, the storyline that has captivated the WWE Universe could move forward.  When we last saw the Usos and Reigns in the ring, it was at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.  It was there that Jimmy Uso kicked Roman in the head, after his cousin roughed him up and pushed him around.

This time, Jimmy and Roman had a long staredown. Finally, The Tribal Chief ordered Jey Uso to kick his brother in the face. Reigns continually barked orders at Jey, but Jey refused to comply.  When Jimmy got on the mic, he let Reigns know that he has become manipulative and abusive. He warned his younger brother, Solo, that he would go down in flames once Roman was done using him, too.

Next, Reigns handed the mic to Solo and told him to choose sides … the Tribal Chief or his brothers? At first, Sikoa ‘acknowledged’ Reigns, but then in a major moment walked over to stand beside his brothers, leaving Roman all alone on his “Island of Relevancy”.

In an effort to keep the peace, Jimmy Uso asked Reigns if he could move forward with respect for every one of them.  Jimmy told Roman that he is their brother, too, in an effort to put what’s happened in the past behind them. Could he do that?  Now with tears in his eyes, and seemingly conflicted, Reigns moved in for big embrace for Jimmy.  However, it was all a set-up. Roman said “no’ and out of the corner of his eye signaled Sikoa who was also in on the double cross. Solo gave the Samoan Spike to Jimmy who went down as Jey looked on and went to help his brother.

As Roman left the ring with Heyman and Sikoa by his side, Reigns’ special council asked him, “What about Jey?” A confident Reigns said that Jey would fall in line, as per usual.

You could not have found better soap opera on any channel than this story right here! The dissolution of the ‘Bloodline’ has to be near.

What will happen next? Will it be the Usos vs. Roman and Sikoa? Will Jey or Jimmy challenge Reigns for the championship? Who will swerve who next? Share your thoughts in the comment section, but first check out the highlights from the ‘Bloodline’s’ story from last night’s ‘Smackdown’ below.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: Cameron Begins His Plot to Frame Nick As His Return Rocks Sharon to the Core

After having a flashback of calling Sharon (Sharon Case) ‘his dream girl’, Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) escalates his revenge plot against Sharon and Nick (Joshua Morrow), when he heads to Crimson Lights and comes face to face with them.

Nick has already had it, while Sharon is visibly shaken.  Cameron says he just stopped to give Sharon a proper hello, now that he is back in Genoa City and out of prison. He then adds … that he ran into their daughter, Faith (Reylynn Caster), and comments on what a beauty she is.

Those buzz words set in motion the reaction Cameron was hoping for.  Nick warns the ex-convict to stay away from their daughter. Cameron goes on to say that he just can’t understand why Nick is getting so worked up and violent when he comes in peace.  When Nick questioned Cameron as to what he wants, Cameron coyly says, “That’s a discussion for another time.”  He takes another gander at Sharon and heads out.

While already using the word ‘violent’, it’s clear that Cameron is going all out to payback Nick.  Next week on the CBS daytime drama series, Kirsten takes things up a notch ticking off Nick even further.

According to Soap Opera Digest on their latest issue on newsstands now, Chance (Conner Floyd) will arrive at Crimson Lights to give Nick the news that Kirsten is pressing battery and assault charges against him.  According to Joshua Morrow, “Nick is stunned and swears to Chance that he didn’t touch Cameron.”  Things take an even uglier turn, when Cameron shows up not looking so good.

Watch two key clips of Cameron’s return to Genoa City and his confrontation with Nick and Sharon and a preview for next week’s Y&R.

Now let us know, will Cameron’s plot land Nick in jail leaving a pathway for him to go after Sharon and Faith? Share your thoughts on the story thus far via the comment section.
