"Back Off, Bitch! NOW!" OLTL's Dorian Warns Rama To Get Her Claws Off Of David!

Courtesy/TOLN
Make sure to catch this week’s episodes of One Life to Live on Hulu and iTunes for this new Dorian (Robin Strasser) classic moment!
As David (Tuc Watkins) heads to Shelter to celebrate the news on his reality show, he cozies up with Rama Patel (Shenaz Tresury)! As Rama and David take to the dance floor, a hot kiss between the two of them follows! And who happens upon the scene, Dorian!
Dorian comes between Rama and David in heat and pushes them apart and warns Mrs. Patel to “Back off, Bitch! Now!” However, what is more important is this looks to be the end for now for David and Dorian! David could not get Dorian’s attention away from creating revenge and payback on Viki (Erika Slezak), so David’s roaming eyes came back to the forefront, while Dorian claims she came to find David at Shelter to gloat and celebrate her suppose victory over Viki!
Watch the clip of Dorian, David, and Rama after the jump, and let us know what you thought of it? And what do you think will happen to Dorian and David’s relationship? We hear that the TOLN “Back off, Bitch” clip was even trending on Twitter last night!
This is AWESOME!!! Vintage Dorian!!!
Dorians claws come out…love it! However, i wish Viki was Nikki and flirting around with David so she could tell Dorian ”Payback is a bitch, isnt Dorian?”
I don’t want to see Dorian and David break up. They are so cute together. Things will only get worse when David learns of Dorian’s revenge plot against Viki.
That is sad. David is the best friend to Dorian’s enemy. Ugh! When did David become a goodie two shoes?
I guess the scene was played for laughs, hard to take it too seriously. Naturally, it happened at SHELTER, even though viewers have made it clear that they’re not crazy about the endless SHELTER scenes. People are either going to Shelter, or dancing at Shelter, or getting drunk at Shelter, or overdosing at Shelter, or having dinner at Shelter, or having brunch at Shelter. The town of Landview nowadays just has Shelter for there evidently are no parks, no ponds, no lakes, no department stores —
New season coming up – please build some new sets!
Viki and Clint will get married at Shelter, Jacks High School graduation party will be held at Shelter, Natalie takes Liam to Shelter for playgroup time with his friends, Rama will get pregnant…is it Davids or Vimals?…and will give birth at Shelter, and little Sams school is planning a field trip to Shelter later in the school year…lol…just joking with you! But i agree with you that Shelter is overused! i also dont care for that dull looking mall Shelter is located in…its too dark and gloomy…very depressing place to shop.
They should bring back Carlottas diner…it was one of the shows better sets…imo
I don’t want them together anymore since David cheated on Dorian.
How could you NOT love Dorian!!! Ha Rama Better watch her back Dorian is one MEAN COUGAR!!!!! RAWR!!! LOL
I love Dorian…Vickis good verses Dorians evil is the best part of OLTL…p.s. i wouldnt trust that sneaky Rama…and wouldnt it be great if Dorian was to show up at Shelter with Vimal as her ‘date’ but not really with him. Both Dorian and Vimal in cahoots to teach their spouses a lesson…
Dorian showing up with Vimal OMG! How funny would that be LMAO!!!!
I like Rama, Ever since she faked her pregnancy and how it came out that she lied was Hysterical!
Ramas fake pregnancy was the best written one ever and when her ‘water broke’ it became the funniest daytime scene ive ever seen imo!
Of course rama is going to lose david to dorian. Would a day soap opera ever make the Indian american char “win” the white guy when she’s going against a white woman? Highly doubtful that writers and execs would be comfortable w/ that especially bec rama is most probably the only Asian american female char on all the day soap operas. Everyone knows tv isn’t very racially diverse and day soap operas are the worst w/ racial diversity. The remainder of the ancient day soap operas especially lack chars who are Asian american. Of course dorian is considered a lead char but rama definitely is not a leading character. There’s never been romantic leading men and women who are Asian american on any day soap opera and yet day soap operas are the oldest tv shows around. There’s never been any lasting Asian american chars w/ frontburner storylines on any of the day soap operas.
I agree we need more lead characters of every race, but phooey on the idea that Rama is not being given lead material, She has an open marriage with her spouse, friendship with Cutter, a budding rivalry with Natalie, and David has the hots for her and will most likely end up sleeping and maybe paired with her. But to suggest that Dorian will “win” David because she is white ignores the decades Dorian and David were together. If Dorian gets stuck with that piece of crap cheat, it will be because of their history and the lack of chemistry with Rama and David (IMO, of course), nothing else. There are plenty of male options for Rama.-David the least of them.
Frankly Vimal is the one I prefer to see over Rama, a very trifling character.
What are you even talking about Rama isn’t Asian or American?
I suppose you thought Vimal was from Ireland too.
India is in South Asia.
Yes it is but she is still considered indian and still not american.
India is considered Asian, because India is in Asia. In fact, in much of the English speaking world, Indians and Pakistanis are often referred to as “Asians.” This is especially true in Britain. We don’t do it as much in the US, but that doesn’t make it not true. Rama is most certainly Asian by any standard.
I recognize this Dorian. I haven’t seen her in a long time.
I thought RS was awesome in her dealing with David and Rama-would prefer the name-calling be strictly applied to pig who is stepping out on her instead of the foolish and fawning Rama.
David is screaming with every fiber that he is not interested in Dorian, save for maybe her home, money, luxuries–I hope she realizes this pronto and dumps him. Please Show, don’t drag this out.
With both Viki and Dorian on the outs with their men, I hope the show is not going with a trite and unwanted triangle with Ron Raines’ character. Just no. These women are too good to fight over some man and as David has so aptly demonstrated, the man is just not worth it.
Key line from Dorian: “The image of you kissing that slut will forever be ingrained in my brain!” I hope that has a meaning that resonates. I’d like to think the break up of David and Dorian will be for the good of BOTH characters. David and Rama appear to be a planned pairing. What about our Dorian?
I’d like to see Dorian with someone else. David and Rama? Indifferent.
Definitely vintage Dorian, OLTL needs a lot more. If the writers and producers are listening, we need Jessica (whether it’s Bree or Erin), Christian, Rex, Joey and Kelly, Roxy, Max Holden (to cause some drama for Blair), Trevor and Roger, Marcie and Michael (the original Michael McBain) and John McBain (whether Michael Easton or a great recast) who has been the heart and sole of Llanview since 2003. Jolie Rocks. No better SOAP couple since Luke and Laura. JOLIE has had the best stories and adventures.
Has anyone seen Silis Clay on GH this week? Acting a lot like Lieutenant John McBain in disguise as a doctor. If there is anyway to bring back Michael Easton, they need to do it. He is critical because he always interacts with everyone and no one better than Natalie.
We need real Llanview sets: UltraViolet, Rodis, the full police station, some more rooms in Llanfair, the Bon Jour, Angel Square and a home for Natalie and Liam (copy the one Ron built on GH). Perhaps it’s me but the sets seem very small. Dump the coffee shop and give us back the Bon Jour where real people meet.
OLTL fans have loved the show for over 43 years so let’s get back to it’s heart and soul soon.
IMO, they have the heart and soul with core veterans who have been there for decades, namely at center Viki. While in general I agree with much of what you’ve written, I think for now, they have to produce a show that will allow them to continue on sure footing financially. Realistically, it might be awhile before they can do much of anything in terms of expansion. CHARACTER-DRIVEN story, the STORY is the most important thing they have to get right for the current cast. Keep in mind it is a 30-minute show, which means a limit to characters. The scene above is indeed vintage Dorian. The character seems refurbished with the current regime. I hope they keep it up.
I definitely hear what you are saying and I too want the show to succeed. It just seems that more money has been spent on AMC which has a lot more characters. They really need to revisit a 30 minute show which only occurs twice a week.
I do think they need to invest more money and bring back more vintage characters or they run the risk of losing the core audience they have established. I feel like it’s the same characters over and over especially the younger ones and the stories are just not that interesting.
They need to balance financial needs along with keeping the show interesting and exciting.
And david thinks the can HANDLE dorian . That was funny . Nobody HANDLES dorian unless she wants to be HANDLED!!
Ah, this scene reminded me of why I fell in love with Dorian at the tender age of ten; she’s such a badass. Rama, Dorian will have you for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Watch it; you’re not playing with fire, you’re playing with explosives.

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
