B&B Casting Young Leading Lady For Contract Role! Who Would You Suggest For The Part?

The Bold and the Beautiful is about to get even more “beautiful” with the casting news today from Soap Opera Digest.
The CBS sudser is about to cast what looks to be a love interest for Ridge and Brooke’s son C.J. played by Anthony Turpel.
According to the casting breakdown, the series is looking for a young, beautiful, Caucasian leading lady, approximately 17-years-old. She is described as, “outgoing, sultry, bawdy, animated and high energy. Comedic timing a plus.”
The role is contract, but no word on when the new role would make it’s on-air debut.

Kind of a strange question. Lol. Who would we cast as a 17 year old?? Its fairly easy to play armchair casting director when the role is 30+…..then we can all have fun with wishful thinking. But 17??
Amber 2.0 ughhh!
If you are talking about Amber from Y&R and B&B she is way to old and @ Mo she could never pass for 17.
2.0 means another version of Amber in the character description…why would I suggest a person that actress age?
What about True O’Brien? She played Paige on DOOL.
I think she’s older than 17, but she can play 17.
For a character that young,they’d be better off casting an unknown actress.
Why would Ridge wanna have a teenaged love interest. At least make her not a minor so a May-December affair won’t be as icky as to where this casting is heading.

I Think Joslyn on General Hospital,Carly’s daughter.It hardly shows her on there and she is very pretty and I bet would Join B&B in a heartbeat.
Another Excellent choice would be Actress MacKenzie Foy. Sh’e 16 years old and she looks a lot like Colleen that played on Y&R.
JOAN COLLINS!!!!!! Some dim lighting, a big hat, and the right camera angles, no one would ever realize that she was “slightly” older than the role required.

A “bawdy” teenage girl? That is disturbing on so many levels.
Harley Graham could be a good choice too!
How about original KIKi from GH? She is older bit could pass younger. Also why would they not bring back some of the forgotten kids? I want to see where Jack is …. How would Bold be if Dominic came back? Would he work with new Ridge and Bill? How about recasting Sally Spectra? robin Strasser, Linda Dano come to mind, but they are many possibilities. Sheila could also come back and be revealed to be related to Quinn!!! 2 cray-cray sisters going nuts for Eric!! I also think Hope should return and Ivy should say bye-bye. So many things can be done with this Soap. Is we could loose Sascha, Nicole, Maya, Ivy, Thomas and Rick, the remaining charcaters could al’ be moved to better stories.

51st Daytime Emmys: Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa Receive Talk Show Host Nominations
On Thursday, nominations were announced in the Outstanding Talk Show category for the upcoming 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children) coming off his first-year as co-host of ‘Live” with real-life wife, Kelly Ripa scored his first Talk Show Host nomination along with Ripa who has been nominated previous times.
Joining Mark and Kelly in the race are: Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, The View
Kelly Clarkson, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, Sheryl Underwood, The Talk and
Tamron Hall, Tamron Hall.

As previously reported, The Talk is coming to its end when its upcoming 15th and final season ends in December of 2024.
The 51st annual Daytime Emmys are slated to be broadcast and stream live on CBS and Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th

51st Daytime Emmys: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series Nominations
On Thursday, the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards revealed nominations in several key categories via four entertainment news programs: Access Hollywood, E! News, Extra and Access Hollywood.
Three of the four announcements were major categories in the field of Daytime Dramas.
The nominees in the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category are: The Bay, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, Neighbours and The Young and the Restless.

General Hospital won this category last year, and has the most all-time wins for a series in this category. For the first time, the beloved Australian-based soap opera, Neighbours is now eligible for competition due to its reboot which streams on Amazon Freevee.

The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out in ceremonies in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Friday night, June 7th.
Previous categories announced tonight via the entertainment news outlet included: Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

The nominations were revealed for the 51st annual Daytime Emmys. in the prestigious Lead Actress in a Drama Series category by Entertainment Tonight.
This comes ahead of tomorrow’s full list that is set to be unveiled at 12noon/9am PST on Friday.
In the running for this year’s Outstanding Lead Actress are Tamara Braun (Ava, Days of our Lives), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke, The Bold and the Beautiful), Annika Noelle (Hope, The Bold and the Beautiful), Finola Hughes (Anna, General Hospital), Cynthia Watros (Nina, General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, The Young and the Restless).

Previous winners in this category include GH’s Finola Hughes, Cynthia Watros and Y&R’s Michelle Stafford. Days of our Lives nominee had won in the Supporting Actress category twice in her career.
