Taylor has a difficult time believing that Stephanie is remorseful about influencing Thomas to lie about what happened with Brooke on the island. Brooke is shocked to learn that Taylor and Ridge’s wedding was interrupted and even more so that Thomas had been lying.  Thomas attempts to defend himself to Dayzee by trying to explain Brooke, Taylor and Stephanie’s past. Because of Thomas’ damaging lie and willingness to ruin the lives of others, Dayzee ends her relationship with him.

Brooke unloads on Thomas about how hurt she is about the lies that he told about her and how he has forever broken her trust in him.  Eric is appalled to learn that Stephanie is behind Brooke and Ridge’s break-up and the deceptive plan with Thomas. Stephanie reveals to Eric the real reason why she convinced Thomas to lie about Brooke and how she went about it. Thorne confesses to Eric about his feelings regarding the family and his place in it.

Stephanie goes to Brooke with the intent of making a heartfelt apology. Hope is ecstatic to learn that her suspicion about Thomas’ deception was correct. Thorne and Felicia can’t help but wonder if Stephanie’s latest machination will be the final straw for their parents’ marriage.  Stephanie attempts to explain to Brooke why she bribed Thomas into lying about what happened on the island.  Overwhelmed with guilt, Stephanie humbly apologizes to Brooke and makes a suggestion about how to remedy the bad blood between them.

With the assistance of Eric, Stephanie concocts a clever way to atone for all of the pain and trouble she has caused Brooke and Ridge.  After Katie tells Bill about the fallout at Ridge and Taylor’s wedding, he is unable to shake his sympathetic and loving thoughts of Steffy. Thomas confesses to Steffy his lie and how he was influenced to do so because of his jealousy regarding her position within the company.  Besides being distraught by Thomas’ deception, Steffy can’t bear the thought of losing Ridge again.  Steffy begs and pleads with Ridge to not abandon their family to go live a life with Brooke again. Sensing that Steffy is having a difficult time with her parents breaking up again, Bill asks her to meet him at the cliff house.   Emotionally distraught from her conversation with Ridge, Steffy has a brush with death in her car on her way to meet Bill.  Knowing how badly Steffy took the news about him and Taylor, Ridge is frantic to find her before she does something irrational.

I’m truly surprised and happy how this played out, I did not want silly Taylor with the most boring man on the planet. If Ridge is paired with Brooke at least it’s a little entertaining, she’s always stroking his ego, so it’s funny to watch (eye roll,LOL). The way they are writing Steffi’s character, I find it really hard to like her, she’s a snob, homewrecker, fool, spoiled brat and just plain ugly inside and out. They need more scenes with Amber and her Mother those two play so well off each other. I don’t get what they are doing… Read more »

General Hospital

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Peter’s On Ice, But Is He “Dead” Dead?

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital provided more to the back-story of what Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) did with Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) body after Finn tussled with the guy and Peter fell down the stairwell and hitting his head on the wall, to his supposed death.

In story, Liz became worried when thinking back to how she suggested to Finn – and that they carried out –  putting Peter’s body in a freezer in the sub-basement of the hospital.

As she recalls their plot (to keep Peter’s body from being discovered until they have time to move him permanently), Anna  (Finola Hughes) is on the move of the hospital and uncovers a hidden service elevator that might just take her to the sub-basement, where she could discover Peter’s lifeless body.

But hold the phone! While we know it was revealed that Wes Ramsey departed GH, could it be that Anna could discover the freezer with no sign of Peter in it? Do you really think his reign of terror is over given that he is Cesar Faison’s bio-son?

Share your thoughts: Do you think Peter is really dead, or will the character come back to haunt everyone and try to get revenge on all who tried to stand in his way of Maxie and his child? Comment below.

THE BACHELORETTE: Katie Tells The Men To Get Out If They Are There for the Wrong Reasons

So, let’s be real here.  Do you seriously think all of the men vying for Katie’s heart on this season’s The Bachelorette, or going onto a dating-reality show, are all just looking for love without realizing the fame, attention and instagram followers that will accrue due to their appearance on the long-running competition series? With that said, some men profess they are on the show searching for love, while others are on the show are there for “the wrong reasons” – i.e. searching for fame.

Katie Thurston had her fill of the “wrong reasons’ on Monday night’s episode of the series, after contestants Aaron and Cody went at it in a mud-wrestling match that turned dirtier than just rolling around in the muck.  Later, Katie pulls Aaron aside where he he reveals that he knows Cody from San Diego, and know he has a questionable character, especially from his social media postings.  Aaron believes Cody just came on to the show to become famous. When Katie then confronts Cody about this, he is pretty unfazed and matter-of-fact and emotionless.  Next up, she boots Cody from the show.

After Katie hits an emotional bottom, she gathers herself together for the evening’s cocktail chats and smooches, and as she is feeling good again, Karl decides to confuse her and tells her that their may be other men in the house who are there for the “wrong reasons”. That prompts Katie to have her episode ‘drop the mic’ moment where she tells the guys that ,”if they are not here for the right reasons to get the ‘f***” out!”  The men are pissed at Karl for stirring things up with nothing to back up his accusations with and Katie is left (as we fade to black) in a puddle of tears.

BUT, before that there were some other watershed moments within the episode. During her one-on-one ‘wilderness date’ with Greg, Katie opened up to him about the death of her father.  Later, when they sat down for their evening date, Greg revealed his father died, and then it was his turn to be overcome, revealing how difficult it was to leave his mom, who was still grieving to come be a part of The Bachelorette season, and to vie for Katie’s heart. But these two clearly have a very strong connection leading people to wonder if Greg will get the final rose.

Earlier, during the awkward – “prove to Katie how sexy you are in bed, or how you will take care of her in bed” – or something like that, Mike the virgin cried during his testimonials as to how he would get up in front of her and the other men with his presentation when he is a virgin.  Mike decided to go with the honest approach and wrote a poem for Katie about how he would love her while basically admitting he was a virgin, as she sat on the bed on the stage with him. He won the award in the sex competition.  OK? OK!

So, who do you think is the frontrunner for Katie’s heart? Is anyone on this show there to truly fall-in-love and get engaged??? Comment below.

General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms Delivers ‘The Power Performance of the Week’

Leave it to a beloved MVP of General Hospital, Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), to pull out all the stops in the culmination of Maxie’s storyline with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and that’s what viewers witnessed this week on the ABC daytime drama series.

Maxie manipulated the manipulator during a stunning sequence of events.  In story, while recovering at General Hospital after giving birth in the woods, Maxie lays it on thick to ensure that Peter never gets near their baby Louise – who is actually being passed off as “Bailey”, the baby of Valentin and Brook Lynn – not kidnapped by the naughty nurse, Chloe (Kimberly J. Brown).  But in Maxie’s chain of events to Peter, she tears into him and tells him that Chloe kidnapped her, drugged her to induce labor, and took off with Louise.  Peter is stunned.  Maxie goes on to explain that Chloe said she was working for him and that Peter planned to take her and the baby out of the country,

At that point, Maxie plays on Peter’s psyche, telling him she wishes the dark side of him would return to get the nurse for what she did.  It is then she gets Peter right where she wants him when he admits that Chloe isn’t the nurse’s real name.   Maxie then turns up the heat on Peter and reveals that Chloe must have been fed information on her from Peter! And that the only explanation is that Peter is horrible person.

Then, Maxie tells Peter their baby is gone, it’s all his fault, and he hopes he is terrified, and that she is repulsed by him, especially every time he touched her.  She then confronts him about killing Drew Cain, Franco Baldwin and anyone else who got in his way.   He says it’s not too late for them, and that he did it all for her and Louise.

Boom! Maxie has got Peter’s confession taped on a file on her phone which she immediately sends to Mac.  That sends Peter running and well, we know, or we think we know where that led, to Peter’s fall down the stairs thanks to Finn (Michael Easton).

Later when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) arrives at GH with baby Louise, she sits outside Maxie’s room as emotional Maxie sees her daughter in the arms of another mother, and is heartbroken that she can’t be with the little girl she just gave birth to.

Over the last three episodes. Kirsten Storms has reminded us all of why she has the innate ability and combination to play strong, determined, vulnerable, loveable and devastated with such ease.  Storms gave us a bravura performance to remember, slicing Peter’s charade in half, playing beats of Maxie’s fictionalized account, with Maxie’s real account of life with Henrik Faison aka Peter.   For all of this and more, Michael Fairman TV names Kirsten Storms work, The Power Performance of the Week.

What did you think of Kirsten in the pivotal scenes with Maxie and Peter, and the emotional fallout that followed? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.  But first, check out some moments from Maxie giving Peter a piece of her mind!
