A distraught Sharon is handcuffed as Piper demands to know why. Noah and Ashley are shocked to see breaking news with Sharon’s picture. Nick and Phyllis receive calls informing them that Sharon was arrested. Adam sees the news about Sharon and calls Leslie to hire her as Sharon’s defense At Jabot, Jack is visited by Victor, who insists he thought Ashley would be heading the company by now. Jack’s attention is drawn to his computer’s headlining announcement. Noah explains to Nick he cannot face Sharon. Phyllis arrives at the police station and beelines for Spencer to get information. An officer has her escorted out just as Sharon arrives, and the two women lock eyes. Phyllis interrogates Adam, insinuating that he must have known Sharon was in hiding. Michael advises Victor that he should avoid any involvement in Sharon’s case. Spencer interrogates Sharon. Nick lashes out at Sharon, but Adam supports her reasoning for what she did. As Adam is comforting her, Sam arrives, and Adam notices Sharon’s reaction. He angrily heads to the same bridge that Sharon’s ashes were scattered from, and in his fury, makes a life-changing move.

Victoria learns from Rafe that Billy’s custody hearing for Delia is today. Rafe expresses his concern about Billy being presentable in front of a judge. Victor assures Sharon that he will do whatever is necessary to help her. Sharon introduces Victor to Sam, and Victor is suspicious of him. Billy is passed out as his phone continuously rings. When Victoria arrives later, she is surprised to see him cleaned up and in a suit. Diane finds that Adam wants nothing to do with their plan to take down Victor. She calls Leslie and insists they turn over her evidence on Adam. Spencer hears Diane’s evidence and considers an offer. At the custody hearing Chloe explains her case and notes Billy’s reckless lifestyle. Just when it looks like Chloe has won, Victoria arrives to speak on Billy’s behalf. Sam politely explains to Victor that people take care of each other where he is from. Sharon uses her phone call to reach Adam, and Victor overhears. Adam arrives and pulls her into a powerful hug. Noah reveals to Sharon that Adam has proof of her innocence. Eden is pleased to know that Noah took her advice and went to see Sharon. Kevin arrives and Noah is surprised to hear that he had offered to sublet with Eden. Sharon begs Sam to forget he ever met her. Sam crosses with Victor on the way out and Victor decides to stop him from heading back to his ranch. Adam denies having proof of Sharon’s innocence.

Jack and Jill greet Lily and Daniel. Colin approaches and is delighted to see the babies. Lily swiftly turns the stroller but comes face to face with Genevieve. Lily reminds Colin that he will not get away with violating her restraining order. Devon and Malcolm are setting up a birthday party for Lily when Neil arrives. Sofia enters and tension flares. Malcolm demands to know when the paternity of Sofia’s baby will be revealed. When Lily arrives she can sense the tension between everyone. She learns the truth about Sofia and Neil. Victoria takes the stand and defends Billy. Angelo visits Kevin and explains he is back in town because a big spending gambler has caught his attention. He suggests that Kevin help him manage the revenue stream. Jill confronts Colin, noting that although Colin claims he can’t stand Genevieve, he always seems to be in the same place as her. Jack watches Genevieve exit and shortly after he is brought a note. He opens it and reads “Meet me for coffee at Crimson Lights.” Victoria arrives home and opens the door to Billy, who came by to say thank her. Jack arrives at Crimson Lights to meet with Genevieve. He is impressed when she reveals her business savvy, adding that she read all about the new Jabot product launch. Billy is attempting to drown his sorrows when a hooker arrives and attempts to lure him into sex. Billy resists, handing her some cash to catch a cab home. He is then arrested for solicitation. At the trailer, Victoria waits for Billy to come back.

Adam informs a devastated Noah that the memory card cannot be recovered. Adam receives a call from his mole in the GCPD with news that Diane leaked info of his involvement in the stock manipulation to the D.A. Diane opens the door to Victor, who reminds her that she and Jack are under investigation for stock manipulation. Billy is worried about getting to Delia’s custody hearing, and Rafe assures him he is working to get his bail. The bailiff begins the hearing as the judge asks where Billy and Rafe are. Rafe and Billy rush in, Billy looking disheveled. The bailiff hands the judge a note, and the judge asks Billy if he was charged for solicitation. Eden notices that Noah is not himself. Noah reveals that the evidence that would’ve cleared Sharon’s name is now hopeless. Eden moves off to order a soda when she hears Hunter greet Noah. Victoria arrives home after spending the night at Billy’s trailer alone. Victor arrives for their breakfast. They are informed Billy was arrested last night for soliciting a hooker. Victor meets with the hooker and hands her cash for helping him incriminate Billy. The judge does not want to hear Billy’s explanation regarding his solicitation charge and moves off to review the case before rendering his decision. Jill and Billy share a tender moment. The judge returns and announces that sole custody is awarded to Chloe. A heartbroken Victoria opens her door to a disheveled Billy and they embrace. Adam confronts Diane and reveals that he knows she spoke to the D.A. He informs Diane of his plan to land Victor in jail.

Billy informs Victoria he lost Delia. Victoria explains that she can’t stand by and watch him self destruct anymore. Kay questions Chloe’s choice to estrange Delia from Billy. At the Jabot launch Jack learns of Billy losing Delia. Abby is surprised by her friends George and Shiva, who have arrived for the Jabot launch. They are shocked to learn that Abby hadn’t planned on attending. When George informs Abby that she was featured on “Where Are They Now” she quickly changes her mind. Abby, George, and Shiva join Lauren and Michael while Jill speaks with reporters. Jack is thrilled to learn Shiva has tried the new products, adding that perhaps she can do a write-up on the new line. Ashley is worried when Tucker insists that he make an appearance at the Jabot launch. Tucker adds it would be great if Ashley would agree to run McCall. Billy visits Chloe and begs her to allow him to see Delia. The crowd has gathered at the launch awaiting the introduction by Lauren and Jack, who both realize they will have to start without Ashley. Jack and Lauren greet the crowd and Jack is about to pass the microphone to Katherine, when Tucker and Ashley appear.

I can’t believe Y&R spent a whole week (18-22) on that stupid sharon and dumb diane story lines. Why in the bleep did you hire Genie Frances if you are just going to ignore her? I’m sick of sharon only because the writers make her look like a freakin idiot. I don’t want phyllis back with nick because she makes my skin crawl, victor needs a lesson from LuAnn D. from the housewives of NY in class and respect (LOL). Victoria really needs to do something with her hair, it’s a hot mess!!!! The just got out of bed look makes her look unclean and just plain stinky. Recast Eden, this girl blows and the other chick friend of Noah’s is a non factor so get rid of her too. Need more Jack, Michael & Lauren, Neil, Genevive & Colin , Lily, Jill, Cane and Daniel time.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Is This Congresswoman Cain’s New Chief of Staff?

Published

In one of the more far-fetched soap opera moments in recent memory, while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) are chatting at the Quartermaine boathouse in swimming trunks for him and a bikini for her, the two exes have a heart to heart on Wednesday’s June 3 episode of General Hospital.

The moment was set-up by Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda (Paige Herschell) who want to find a way to push the exes together in order to get incriminating evidence of the two, so Michael can gain leverage over Willow for full custody of their children. once and for all. Jacinda notes how Chase definitely has a savior and white knight syndrome going on.

During Willow and Chase’s chat at the boathouse, the subject turns to how Chase was demoted at the PCPD in his efforts to help get Willow acquitted of attempted murder charges at her trial for the shooting of Drew. He has since gone from detective to patrolman. However, Willow comes up with an idea! Why doesn’t he come to work for her as her chief of staff. Willow feels he would be perfect, because he is only one of the only people she can trust.

WILLOW LAYS OUT THE BENEFITS OF CHASE ACCEPTING HER JOB OFFER

A surprised Chase, says he isn’t qualified, but Willow thinks otherwise. She urges him to consider the position she is offering, because it would give him a more regular schedule that would be befitting for him being a new father to baby Phoebe.

Chase’s want to know why it was so important to Willow that he take the job, she continues to explain how she trusts him, but Tracy (Jane Elliot) spots the two in a close moment and hides behind the boathouse. Willow exits, but asks Chase to promise he will think over her offer.

Next, Tracy threatens Chase that this is the last time he will cheat on her granddaughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Knowing he didn’t “cheat” on his wife, Chase looks pissed off.

So, can you imagine, Chase as Willow’s Chief of Staff? Weigh-in if you think he will be stupid enough to take this job knowing the issues it would cause for Brook Lynn? Will the police officer ever get the clue that Willow is manipulating him like she does to everyone else? Weigh-in via the comment section below.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Brook Lynn Threatens Willow to Stay Away From Chase or ‘It’ll Be the Last Breath You Take’

Published

After seeing her husband Chase (Josh Swickard) in an embrace with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) through the window (and while on the way to bring Willow a gift), Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) attempt at delivering a ‘thank you’ to Willow goes south on the Friday, May 29 episode of General Hospital.

Brook Lynn was already primed for a showdown after Michael (Rory Gibson) warned his cousin that Willow offering to help and pull strings in Phoebe’s adoption is for Chase’s benefit not hers. It was at that point that Michael let her use his car since Brook Lynn’s car was in the shop, for her to drop off her gift.

As Brook Lynn got more agitated with Michael, the conversation turned further when he told her he was surprised she had the time to plan a musical showcase for Trina and take care of baby Phoebe since she’d missed Gio and Trina’s performance at Charlie’s. Michael’s wheels are turning, figuratively!

Meanwhile at Drew’s, Willow is admitting to Chase she doesn’t love her husband, she regrets marrying him and wants out of her marriage. Willow says she is ashamed how she treated Chase when she cheated on him with Michael. Chase said there were extenuating circumstances, but it all led him to Brook Lynn and baby Phoebe now. Chase gives Willow encouragement to trust herself and they hug, which is then spotted by Willow. So when Brook Lynn enters to give her thank-you gift to Willow she is also sweet in front of Chase.

MICHAEL’S GOT A NEW PLAN TO TAKE DOWN WILLOW

When Chase has to head out, Brook Lynn turns to Willow and says,”I’m very grateful for everything you are doing for us Willow. But if you so much as breathe on my husband again, it will be the last breath you take!” Could Willow be the next person on the receiving end of a ‘Who Shot Drew?’ mystery?

Michael tells Jacinda (Paige Herschell) his suspicion that Brook Lynn was the other driver in Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan’s car accident. He believes if Chase learned Brook Lynn lied to him and covered up her part of the accident, he would go running to Willow.  Then Willow’s life will blow up on her as the scandal of her cheating on her invalid husband with her ex, that it would cause Willow to lose her Congressional seat. Michael reveals to Jacinda he wants all the power over Willow.

THE ETHAN AND DELILAH ART GALLERY CONNECTION

Meanwhile in Manhattan, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ava (Maura West) went to the Hamnet Gallery and talked to the owner Apollo (in a guest start turn from Maxwell Caulfield.) The two talk about his former employee Delilah Wilson. At first, Apollo claims he didn’t know much about the young woman nor that she was pregnant.  Suddenly, Apollo steps away to make a call and its to Ethan (Nathan Dean)! He reports what is transpiring and confirms to Ethan he didn’t give the women any useful intel.

Later, Ava uses her charms and wiles to convince Apollo to give up some key information when she brings up the Quartermaine family promising a financial reward. With that, he backstabs Ethan and shows Ava and Alexis the photo of Ethan with his arm around Delilah’s shoulder.

In other developments, Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) seemed to get on the same page, when Valentin revealed he has developed genuine feelings for Carly, While he doesn’t know what the future will hold he wants her by his side, and she kisses him to seal the deal.

Elsewhere, Curtis and Portia (Brook Kerr) continue their heated battle over Curtis breaking and tearing Isaiah’s surgical hand, and Tracy (Jane Elliot) wants Ethan to be the “fixer” to ensure nothing happens that would come to light or take baby Phoebe away from her granddaughter and Chase.

So what did you think of Brook Lynn warning Willow to get her hands off her husband or else? Do you think Michael’s plan will drive Chase back to Willow? What is the connection between Delilah and Ethan? Is Phoebe their child, but what were they involved with that Ethan wants no trace of?

Do you think Willow might be “murdered” or have an attempt on her life, once Jack and Drew come out of their paralytic state and everyone else who she wronged might come after too? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below, but first check out today’s scenes featuring Maxwell Caulfield,

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Kristina is Accepted into Medical School Paving Way for Kate Mansi’s Exit; What Do You Think of How She’s Being Written-Off?

Published

By

As promised by General Hospital on Tuesday May 26 episode provided the reason why Kristina Corinthos-Davis will be leaving Port Charles next month in order to accommodate Daytime Emmy winner Kate Mansi’s decision to exit the soap opera.

After telling Mansi told former Soap Opera Digest Editorial Stephanie Sloane in her newsletter that, “Now, it feels like the right time for both Kristina and me to step into new adventures,” that couldn’t have been prove more true, when Kristina’s life and story took a sharp turn out of nowhere.

During a conversation on today’s GH, Kristina is talking with her sister Molly (Kristen Vaganos) about Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) outside of Bobbie’s when suddenly Kristina gets a message notification on her phone. Next, Kristina underplayed the information, she received when she looked at the notification and announced, “I took a long shot, and just got accepted into medical school!”

Courtesy/ABC

Molly looks stunned, Kristina seemed like someone who just thought she would randomly throw her hat into the ring and see if it happens, as if wasn’t such a big deal, or maybe she is just underplaying her reaction for now. Certainly, for those who have applied to medical school, and have always wanted to be a doctor, this would be the most awesome news.

As to why all of a sudden the GH writers came up with this angle for Kristina’s exit story has yet to be explained on-screen with this being such a major career decision shift when Kristina just reopened Charlie’s. More is said to be revealed on tomorrow’s Wednesday, May 28 episode.

MEDICAL SCHOOL AS A VEHICLE TO WRITE OUT A SOAP CHARACTER

The move to have Kristina Corinthos-Davis become a doctor does give the show the leeway to bring back Kate Mansi a few years down the line with a new occupation and purpose if she ever wants to return to the show since GH executive producer Frank Valentini said in a statement that the “door is always open” for Kate to return. And as we also learned, there are no plans to recast the role at this time.

Kristina doesn’t have the greatest track record with academia having been expelled back in the fall of 2015 from Wesleyan, where she had been studying prelaw. That story eventually revealed itself where Kristina got suspended after offering to have sex with one of her professors in exchange for a better grade. The professor turned out to be Parker Forsyth played by Ashley Jones, and the two eventually were in a complicated relationship before breaking up.

Soap fans have always been tasked with suspending belief when certain reasons are written to precipitate characters exits when the audience already knows that the actor had decided to leave the show or needs a maternity leave, for example. Sometimes it makes some sense for the character and other times, it does not.

So, how do you feel about the reason why Kristina Corinthos-Davis will be written off the canvas as Kate Mansi wraps up her story on-screen? Do you think it fits the character? Like it? Don’t like it? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
