Donna’s worst fears come true when Pam confirms her return to Forrester Creations.  The Forrester family celebrates getting their company back, but not without asking Steffy how she went about acquiring it from Bill. Later, Eric names a new CEO of Forrester Creations.  Bridget lashes out at Nick for the constant hurdles that they have encountered in their marriage.  No longer able to keep the secret, Brooke announces to Ridge how Steffy went about buying Forrester Creations back from Bill.  A devastated Bridget turns to the arms of another man for comfort after leaving Nick.  Sensing that Steffy’s actions have been less than admirable, Hope delivers her stepsister a stern and eye-opening warning.  Wanting to hear the whole truth, Ridge confronts Steffy about her dealings with Bill. Brooke is in shock by Ridge’s reactions to Steffy’s deceptive description of how she went about getting Forrester Creations back from Bill.  Steffy puts Ridge in a difficult position when she makes a request of him.  After officially signing a contract to be an owner of Forrester Creations, Taylor‘s day gets even better when she celebrates with Whip.  Bridget’s devastation over her and Nick’s constant marital issues slowly turns to anger, and then disillusion.   Steffy proposes a new advertising campaign that centers around the Forrester family, not the Logans.  She continues to make Ridge feel guilty for the choices that he has made concerning how and where he devotes his time.  Bridget finds an unconventional way to grieve her loss and an ally to help her.  Nick feels responsible for the events which led up to the failure of his marriage. Bridget returns to Nick with an apology and an intention to make a confession.  In turn, Nick accepts the blame for their marital problems and begs Bridget not to leave him.  During lunch at Insomnia Café, Marcus notices that Steffy’s attention is drawn elsewhere.  Jackie and Owen spend a hot and steamy afternoon together.  Hope and Oliver share their first kiss.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Michael Blasts Brad As The Truth About Wiley Comes Out

FINALLY! On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) memory is jogged just enough that he clearly remembers Brad’s (Parry Shen) shocking words before their car crash; where Brad confessed that Wiley was Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael’s (Chad Duell) biological son.

At the Corinthos home, Lucas stands up and announces to Michael that Wiley is actually his believed to be dead son, Jonah. Carly’s (Laura Wright) mouth drops and then she takes over getting to the root of the truth of the baby switch.

Brad is cornered and left with no choice but to fess up. He explains how Wiley died when he was no longer breathing, and how he was driving with him, when he ended up on the route where Nelle left Michael to die in the car he was driving (Michael recalls this bit of Intel in a flashback).

Then, Brad explains how Nelle appeared with her newborn baby and claimed the whole thing was engineered by Nelle …  and how he was so upset and panicked, that he went along with her plan.

Michael lets Brad have it for all of his lies and machinations, and the pain it has inflicted on so many people for over a year and half.  How on earth could he do that? Carly also lays into him.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: 50th Anniversary Of Newman Enterprises Gala Brings Retro Clips, Speeches & Icon Eric Braeden

Wednesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless brought with it a very special episode to honor Eric Braeden’s 40th anniversary with the top-rated soap operas as the one and only Victor Newman.  Braeden has made himself and Victor Newman a household name throughout his four decades in Genoa City.

Since back in 1980 when Eric first came on to the scene as Victor, Y&R knew they had struck gold.  To celebrate the milestone, the series crafted an episode that centered around Newman Enterprises 50th anniversary and held a gala in its honored, steer-headed by Victor’s wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

With special returning guest stars including: Meg Bennett (Julia), Robert Parucha (Matt), Robert Adamson (Noah) and Eileen Davidson (Ashley), throughout the hour, characters stood up from their tables delivering a few endearing …. or sometimes contentious thoughts at their relationships with Victor over the years.

From children, Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Adam (Mark Grossman) to business rivals, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Jill (Jess Walton) and more, emotions ran high.

What Y&R delivered best in the episode was finding retrospective clips that fans have not seen in awhile, while also reminding us through Braeden’s two most towering performances – when Victor confronts his mother (Dorothy McGuire) and later his father (George Kennedy) – the depth of his performances which to this day can make you reach for the hankies all over again.   One of our other favorite clips was the simply-stated scene between Abby and Victor; where he supports his daughter while her love life has fallen apart.

In addition, if you watched Braeden throughout the episode, several time he had tears in his eyes, as the viewers felt what Victor must be feeling during this walk down memory lane, and Eric, himself.   The series also went all in creating pieces of photographic art of Eric as a time capsule to this special occasion, which showed the attention to detail everyone at Y&R had for this special actor.

Braeden tweeted after the episode aired: “I was very moved,I’ve got to admit! Tony MORINA did a great job supervising it all! They chose some great scenes outbof sooooo many more!! And the art director did a great job,?and so did the editor!”

What did you think of the tribute episode to Victor and Eric Braeden? What was your favorite part of it? Your favorite clip? Comment below, but first watch a montage of Y&R opening sequence shots featuring Braeden through the years, and then the final moment of Wednesday’s episode.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Valentin’s World Crumbles; Anna & Finn Put On The Brakes

Yesterday’s episode of ABC’s General Hospital featured emotional performances by James Patrick Stuart (Valentin), Finola Hughes (Anna) and Michael Easton (Finn) as it looks like a significant shift may be coming for their characters on the Port Charles canvas, or is it?

Valentin has overheard Nina (Cynthia Watros) telling Ava (Maura West) that she kissed Jax (Ingo Rademacher), which further sends him into a tailspin.  He is still reeling from the fact that the DNA results, that he had run, proved that he is not a Cassadine, as Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) had claimed and revealed.

When Valentin enters Ava’s art gallery, he gets a moment alone with Nina where he tells her he doesn’t know who he is anymore.  Nina tells him he is free now to start over and concentrate on his daughter, Scarlett, but that she will no longer be a part of his life.

You can tell Nina still has feelings for Valentin and cares about him, but is it more? Or, is she now going to move on with Jax? Well, after a pep talk, of sorts, from Ava, looks like she may just go after Jax and see where things may lead with him.

Later, Valentin is drinking and gets his gun and is ready to kill Jax, or so it seems.  He heads out to go confront Jax in his office.  Next, we see Valentin shoot Jax with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dustin (Mark Lawson) looking on.  However, we soon learn that this scenario was all in Valentin’s mind, as we come back to present time and Jax, Dustin, and Josslyn are all talking and wondering what Valentin wants.  He covers and tells Jax he just came to tell him he wasn’t a Cassadine.  Still later, Lulu is filled in about Valentin.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Valentin's World Crumbles; Anna & Finn Put On The Brakes

Meanwhile, Brad (Parry Shen) meets up with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and tells her that he and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) are moving away from Port Charles.  He admits to her that he told Lucas before the accident, about baby Wiley being Michael and Nelle’s bio-son.  She is pissed.  Nelle realizes he wants to move Lucas and Wiley away to keep from triggering Lucas’ memory of the car crash.  Later, that prompts Nelle to leave Valentin a message that she is ready to sell her ELQ shares to him as she needs to leave town ASAP.

However, when Nelle places her call, Vakentin does not pick up; instead he is on the floor drunk, and opens a box with the Cassadine ring in it, and lo and behold, we see a woman appear, who by all accounts will be Helena (Constance Towers) since we know Towers is making a visit during February sweeps.  Will Valentin be talking to a dead Helena about the lies perpetrated on him … or is something else going on? Stay tuned for today’s episode.

Elsewhere, Anna is angry that Finn betrayed her with confirming information to Jason (Steve Burton) and his stance on her son Peter’s dirty deeds.. Finn says she’s just so blind to the truth about Peter and he is a dangerous man; after all, Peter kept Jason locked up for years.  Anna says Jason will now retaliate and try to kill Peter.  She is overcome with terror and upset that no one will give Peter the benefit of a doubt.

Finn goes to get his daughter, Violet and packs a bag and moves of their place and heads to the Metro Court for the night.  He tells Anna he has to protect his daughter.  Of course, when they get to the Metro Court, they run into Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms).  Finn is not happy.   Will Anna and Finn reconcile? Will Peter finally, finally get his comeuppance?
