DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Jada Reveals Everett Is Her Ex-Husband Bobby Stein

On Monday’s February 19th episode of Days of our Lives, viewers are getting closer to the root of the story of Everett Lynch (Blake Berris).  There has been speculation for months as to just how the talented Blake Berris’ new character would be … a good guy, or a bad guy. But, what if he is actually both?

In story, Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering) are at the Brady Pub and she comes upon on Everett with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and freaks out. She reveals that Everett is her ex-husband Bobby Stein! Everett denies even knowing Jada and thinks she is mentally unstable or something. Jada even shows him a photo of her with him (sans his beard) from her phone. Everett throws it off as everyone in the world has a doppelgänger.

Jada accuses Everett of gaslighting her. She goes into the back-story of when she discovered he cheated on her, and she served him with divorce papers, but he turned into a “ghost.” Everett stands by his claim that the two of them were never married.

Stephanie flashes back to Everett revealing he had retrograde amnesia when he initially came out of his coma citing maybe that’s the reason he doesn’t remember Jada.  Next, Jada goes off on him saying she can tell by the look in his eyes, he knows exactly who she is.  Jada warns Stephanie to not get ‘sandbagged’ by this guy any longer. She then threatens Everett that he will be found out and get what he deserves. Next, she torms out of the pub as Rafe follows her.

Alone with Everett, Stephanie becomes upset having a few more startling realizations. First she asks Everett, “Are you really not Bobby Stein?” He admits to having gaps in his memory, but not years of relationships or marrying someone.

Then, in another flashback, Stephanie remembers Everett telling her he bought an engagement ring before his accident. Then, Stephanie recalls a conversation with Jada how she found a large credit card charge from a jewelry store and that Bobby hadn’t bought anything for her in several months.

Stephanie is shocked, and tells Everett if Jada is telling the truth, and he’s really Bobby Stein, than she’s actually the other woman!  Next, Stephanie decides to leave, while Everett says this makes no sense, and they should talk about.

So, what do you think of this story … that it appears Bobby Stein is also Everett Lynch? What do you think will eventually be revealed? Comment below.

American Idol

AMERICAN IDOL Season 22 Opener: Contestant Reunites with Birth Family, Former NFL Pro’s Emotional Journey and More

You really needed the hankies for the season 22 premiere of American Idol that aired on Sunday night on ABC. In what was edited, pretty darn perfectly, to hook viewers into the back-story of some of the talented contestants, we got our first glimpse of just who could wind up in the top ten or be your next ‘American Idol.”

Judges Katy Perry (who just announced this season will be her last), Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan were back as the two-hour episode featured auditions in the hometowns of three music superstars: Santa Barbara for Perry, Tuskegee, Alabama for Richie, and Leesburg, Georgia for Bryan.

‘Idol’ starts out red hot with young male singer Mackenzie Sol, a Las Vegas resident hails from Newcastle, a small town in England. He sings Bring it On Home to Me by Sam Cooke, and tells the judges he did not tell his mother he was coming to audition, in case it went badly. With soulful voice he wows the judges and his mom shows up to surprise to boot! He’s in tears, so are we, and we have one of this year’s heartthrobs in the making.

Later we meet Triston Harper from McIntosh, Alabama. The 15-year old country singer says he’s been through a lot at his young age. At one point he and his mother were homeless after escaping his abusive stepfather. He is also the first Idol contestant with Choctaw Indian heritage, that we know of. Triston sings Cover Me Up by Jason Isbell.. His mother comes into the audition room to hear the good news that the judges are sending the young teen to Hollywood.

In one of the more poignant moments of the episode, we meet Blake Proehl, a 24-year old from Charlotte, North Carolina. In the clip package viewers learn that he is actually a former NFL pro football player for the Minnesota Vikings. His life change dramatically when he suffered a career-ending leg injury and had to learn to walk again. He credits his grandmother for saving him and pushing him to sing. Blake sits down at the piano and sings “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young. The judges get emotional and amped up on this guy that he could be the one to take it all.

In Santa Barbara, we meet Micaela McCall is a 28-year old voice and piano teacher who performed Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered with her own unique singing style. The rendition brings Katy to tears!

Currently living in a small hotel room with his five children and his wife, viewers meet Odell Bunton Jr. from Dallas. He works the nightshift in security at the airport, and he wants a better life for his family. Not only does he impress the judges with Bring it On Home to Me by Sam Cooke, he later receives a surprise on the local Fox station that the judges have deemed him one of three platinum tickets winners for the season. That allows him to skip the first week of competition at Hollywood week.

Jack Blocker, 25-year old graphic designer who currently lives in Nashville performed an original song of his with his guitar called, I Was Wrong.  Problem was his facial expressions while he was singing made his face look quite distorted and when the judges took a vote only Luke gave him a “Yes”. Then, in a first for “Idol”, Luke asked the crew what they thought and they wanted him in the competition. Jack was brought back into the audition room and given a golden ticket. Thank you behind the scenes crew!

Finally, in the heart-tugger of the night, McKenna Breinholt, a 25-year medical assistant from Gilbert, Arizona tells the story of how in three weeks she slated to meet her birth family. Her biological mother was a singer who passed away.  Her adopted family was with her at the audition (or so she only that).  She goes to the piano with her smoky voice and sings There Was Jesus by Zach Bryan and Dolly Parton.  Next, she is in for a surprise when after she received a gold ticket to Hollywood in walks not only her adopted family, but members of her birth family. Everyone is crying, and so are we.  Then, McKenna in honor of her mother sits down and the piano and plays one of her songs.

So, after night one of the audition of American Idol? Who were you most impressed by? Let us know in the comment section below.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS: What’s Wrong with Ashley? Is She Having a Nervous Breakdown? Does She Have a Split Personality?

Something’s cookin’ on The Young and the Restless that looks to be a very meaty storyline for two-time Daytime Emmy winner, Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott).

First, it looked like Tucker (Trevor St. John) was gaslighting her (could he still be though?).  Then, Ashley seemed to become more unhinged in Paris, and now after a conversation with Jack (Peter Bergman) on Friday’s episode of the CBS daytime drama, it appears with just a subtle look, Ashley could be suffering from dissociative identify disorder, but is she?

Earlier in the week, Ashley cornered Tucker and the two had a heated public conversation. Afterwards, Ashley flashed back to her previous fight with Tucker, and recalls this time it was just as Tucker originally claimed it went down.

Now on Friday, Ashley comes back to the Abbott house after being in what she says was a car accident when the driver took her for a ride. The accident startled her. Sobbing she tells Jack there is nothing he can do help her as she is “barely hanging on.” Ashley goes on to say she can’t stop crying and doesn’t know what’s happening to her.  In a key line of dialog she says she wants to, “curl up in a ball or run away and never come back.” Foreshadowing split personality?

Jack tries to reassure his sister that she is not alone. Frightened Ashley cries, “What’s happening to me?” Ashley then says, “I’m a lot stronger than Tucker thinks I am. I’m going to be fine. I definitely see things more clearly.” Jack goes to give Ashley hug, and when the camera reverse angles the shot, Ashley now looks like she has a different attitude.

As Y&R viewers know ,Ashley has a history of nervous breakdowns in her past. What is the trigger to all of this if she is splitting into another personality? Next week’s preview for Y&R (see below, also features a scene where Ashley is trying to tell the voices in her head to “shut up!”

So, what do you think is happening to Ashley, and where is this story going? Let us know in the comment section.
