B&B Resumes Production After Positive COVID-19 Test On Staffer, Meanwhile CBS Television City Positive Tests Are Corporate Employees

The coronavirus pandemic continues to play havoc on all our lives and even after best efforts from your favorite television shows to deliver more content to you.  Now comes word that The Bold and the Beautiful actually had to shut down production for a bit after one of their staffers tested positive for COVID-19 three and a half weeks ago.

The CBS daytime drama series then decided as a precaution to move up the their dark week for the month and added a second dark week to accommodate the situation and for the health of everyone associated with the show.

B&B is now back in production, and the good news for fans who have been clamoring for new episodes, the time-off will not affect anything.  In addition to the earlier story this morning, via Deadline, the three other CBS Television City staffers turned out to be three corporate employees.

In a statement, Television City owner Hackman Capital Partners shared: “The three employees are CBS corporate employees who are separated from, and not tied to, any production. No productions have been shut down in connection with this isolated incident.”

Earlier on Friday, daytime fans were concerned that the 3 positive tests from CBS TV-City might be from Y&R and B&B but that has proven not to be true, so the shows are continuing to tape.

So glad to hear B&B is back bringing you the drama? Comment below.
