B&B's Bradley Bell Dishes On The Woman In Charge At Forrester Creations & The Future Of Bridge!

There is a major shake-up at Forrester Creations that is about to go down on the upcoming December 14th episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
That is when none other than Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will become the woman in charge and CEO of the fashion house! How does it come about? After Quinn (Rena Sofer) proposes that Steffy be the new CEO, Steffy accepts the offer. But isn’t there an ulterior motive by Quinn to put the beautiful Steffy in charge? Is she hoping that Steffy’s rise to power will bring her son Wyatt (Darin Brooks) closer to her, and negate the Liam/Steffy romance once and for all?
TV Insider’s Michael Logan spoke with B&B’s executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell, for the inside scoop on the storyline and the latest on the rekindling of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) long-storied romance and where that may lead. Here’s a few intriguing excerpts below!
With Steffy loathing Quinn, why would Steffy take the offer as CEO of Forrester? Bell offered up,“Steffy is very moved by the honor. Her grandfather Eric (John McCook) wants this to happen from the bottom of his heart and sees this as a true passing of the baton. Besides, it’s time for a woman to run things. And it’s a provocative opportunity. Wyatt has the promotional savvy to make Steffy a household name with millions of online followers. She’ll become an ‘influencer,’ as they say nowadays. She’s going to be our show’s Kardashian, and it’s because of Wyatt. They are going to do great things together.”

As to how Liam (Scott Clifton) sees Steffy being offered the CEO position, Bell explained: “He’s sure that Quinn’s offer is total manipulation, and it’s going to create quite a rift between him and Steffy. Is it something they can negotiate and endure? We’ll have to see.”
Ridge will be involved in the Forrester business drama, but what will it mean for the reuniting of Bridge? After all, they are set to hit the sheets on the December 5th episode and become engaged. Brad answered: “They are finally headed for the finish line. But will they cross it? Ridge will be so consumed with what’s happening at Forrester that it may get in the way of those wedding plans. And we haven’t heard the last from Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). He’s a man who gets what he wants and he’s not giving up on Brooke.
So, what do you think of Quinn putting Steffy in charge of Forrester Creations, and Steffy accepting the offer? Will you be rooting for Brooke and Ridge to get back together after next week’s episode? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
bold and beautifulls bradly bell has struck pure gold with eric and quinn ,,each episode is delicious,,,for the 1rst time b and b is the 1rst thing i watch off my pvr ever,,,office antics are fine but keep the glow shining between eric and quinn,,nice to see john mccook as a leading man again and as sexy and handsome as ever,,,over 60 can still have it,,hope bell realizes this and doesnt get lazy by having quinn retort back to old ways,,soap cycle repeat rinse repeat,,,many ways they could write this love story,,maybe a lil quinn on the way…of course alwaqys keep her edgy but not in a sick devious way its ben done with her,,lets see a character finally grow in a positive way…go for it bell make magic
I’m sick of brooke going back to ridge
Why can’t see and Bill ever just get married
And she moves forward. They make more sense as a couple to me. I don’t even watch the show very often but I’ve been rooting for Bil and Brooke for years
i like brooke with ridge. i can’t stand bill
I have tried very hard to like B&B. It is the ONE show that makes an effort to stick to its roots. The sets are always attractive and the actors (overall) are good looking. Plus, it has a strong connection to Bill Bell, my favorite soap writer.
That being said, I just don’t like the current show and struggle to watch it (frequently failing and simply turning it off). The funny thing to me is that a lot of the reason why I don’t like it is the exact opposite of my criticism of the other shows. B&B sticks with its past WAY too much. There is no effort to bring NEW characters, to put the established characters into a NEW situation with new characters. It is the same thing all the time.
For example, this article talks about the “rekindling of Brooke and Ridge” — Rekindled?? These two have been “rekindled” so many times in the past 25 years that there is only charred debris left. What exactly is there to “rekindle” about them?
This show needs something — and it does NOT need to be another Forrester or Logan offspring. Where is an new, age appropriate romantic partner for Eric? There are a TON of unemployed actresses who look great and easily could fit the part. What about a new fashion related family to the scene —- Elizabeth Hubbard or Robin Strasser playing a handbag or shoe designer with her good looking offspring in tow? (But, for the love of God, do NOT put the male offspring into bed with Brooke!).
I thought there might be an opportunity for the show to finally let in some “fresh air” when Ross Moss and Susan Flannery quit. The show would have to take another direction or refocus. (In vain, I hoped that the writers would leave Ridge off screen and finally focus on the criminally ignored Thorne or Felicia Forrester). We didn’t get that. Instead, we got more and more of the same. Ugh.
I’m beginning to think that Brad Bell is burned out (from yet again “rekindling” Brooke and Ridge) or just doesn’t have the writing talent his father exhibited.
It has been a mystery to me that, over the past decade, Y&R has remain the most watched soap. It is an equal mystery to me how B&B holds onto the second spot.
Thanks for posting the article but NOTHING about it is enticing me to give B&B another shot.
I completely agree with you. I thought things were going to change when Maya’s parents were introduced. We had a brief respite, and then it was back to square one all over again. Whenever they bring in new or past charaters, its for 5 minutes and then their gone. Donna was prine example. Two shows for Brooke’s weddig and she was gone. It’s ridiculous.
As I have mentioned in previous posts, I think the story of Brooke and Ridge has sailed when Ronn Moss left the show. Although I always thought that Thorsten Kaye is a decent actor, I always thought he was to scruffy looking for Ridge. In my mind and eyes, Ronn Moss and Katherine Kelly Lang will always be ” Bridge “. Maybe it is becuse they never had a chance for romance before now, but I can’t see history repeating itself with Brooke and Ridge. Right now I am more disgusted than usual with Brooke. After all the crap she put Katie through not once but twice, she is going to pull a stunt like this. I actually liked her with Bill. I just hope they don’t have Katie and Bill regroup. I say let Katie find herself for awhile without a man. I am really loving Eric and Quinn, I just hope we aren’t in for a Katie, Quinn, Eric triangle any time soon. Now don’t even getvme started on Liam and Steffie. Steffie finally got divorced. Why are they taking forever to marry. Insread of talking about it every 5 minutes why don’t they just go to a Justice of the Peace and do the deed. And if Steffie takes that job offer from Quinn, I say she is one hypocritical witch. She was so afraid of Quinn when she was married to Wyatt, but now tha she is divorced and promoted she isn’t afraid anymore. Like I said before she never really loved Wyatt. She was using him because she thought Liam was gome. And then she was using Quinn to divorce Wyatt and go back to Liam. She is nothing but a spoiled whiner who wants her way or no way. Like father like daughter. It’s going to be interesting to see how things are going to play out. I just wonder if Quinn is going to stay a good witch, or go back to being a bad one. Time will tell.
this needs to end , brooke has zero chemistry with this ridge. they needs to read stephanie’s will and move on .ridge needs to go back to europe or jail and take little stephanie and wyatt with him.Brooke should be running Forrester Creations.
After 30 years, Brooke deserves and should be with the man who will treat her right, Bill!!
I’m also sick of brooke running back to ridge again after all the times that he dump her for someone else. The show make the brooke character look like a stupid woman. Enough already. I stop watching the show two months ago because of the foolishness.
He lost me when he said “Kardashian”.
I like Eric and Quinn together.
What will happen to Bill?
They need to bring Donna back. Thorne and Felicia as well.
I’m over Zende. Send him back to Florida to spend time with his parents for a while.
What I can no longer watch is wyatt the weasel. I have to change the channel when he airs. Its ridiculous the whinning and the lack of recognition of his mental illness. It was never sane to always go after the girl involved with his brother & constantly opt for a quickie wedding the minute Liam is not around. If he believed in a relationship that quickie wedding nonsense would never have been necessary. That everyone stands by him is even further from sanity
As I previously stated as well, this ship has sailed. There is NO chemistry between these two. Loved Ridge and Caroline and it was a really bad move to end that story for no reason. Brad Bell needs to take a page from General Hospital and how they have made Laura a fresh character with a new romance. Time moves on and Luke and Laura didn’t work any more than Ridge and Brooke.
Really liking Quinn with Eric. But Soo sick of Steffy/Liam/Wyatt! And Please can they find a man for Brooke she hasn’t already slept with or been married to 100x’s? Brooke/Bill/Ridge is So old!
Another show should pick up Zack Conroy as B&B let the character of Oliver evaporate. I’d like to see Oliver return on B&B, married to a recast Hope.
Seriously, there is ZERO chemistry between KKL and TK, BRIDGE is over.
Its painful to watch.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. “Bridge” died when Roon Moss left the show. Tovme, Br8okecand Ridge will always be Ronn Moss and Katherine Kelly Lang. I agree with you Shari. There was no reason to break up Caroline and Ridge. They were so good together. Why listen to the fans
I don’t mind Bridge — simply because they are like the Victor and Nikki of B&B– I expect them to get thrown back together now and then– but since the present actor playing Ridge had very little air time with character Brooke– let alone any air time where any type of feelings for Brooke were shown– this pairing seems a bit force– if the rekindling of the romance came organically out of some kind of real story– I might enjoy it, but as it is — it feels like another wrinkle with Brooke going back to Bill by Feb. sweeps– YAWN
As I have stated on this site before, I am a new watcher of B&B. I loved it after the first week and can’t wait to watch. There is something about Rena Rofer (Quinn) that is…ELECTRIC. She and Eric are the most exciting couple on the show. I hate how fickle Brooke is being, going from Bill to Ridge, with each man making their case of why she should pick one or the other. I am not a fan of Ridge and Brooke, and prefer with Bill. I want to see Rick and Maya have decent storyline. I am ready for more Caroline and Thomas, more Ivy. I only storyline I have not loved is Zende making the same mistake TWICE, sleeping with Nicole’s sister. I am also enjoying the young actor playing Ridge and Brooke’s son. Great job, Brad Bell.
Hell yes! I’ve been waiting for this, u need to put Katie and Bill back together and keep Liam and steffy too stay together r I’m going to boycott bold and beautiful.
Shut up, Bill and Brooke don’t when look good together.
Brooke need to mature and stop being the b&b she dog .Caroline baby should turn out to be Ridge’s and ( she dog number two ) Sharsha need to stay with Thomas.Wyatt met a new woman and Eric find a woman his own age. Gwen will go back to old ways and Brooke and Kattie will rescue him.
I don’t care what anybody says up here, I’m a total Bridge fan, and their scenes have been very sweet. I am so happy they are together and that they STAY that way. I don’t get why anyone would root for Bill and Brooke, their name together even sounds gross. Brill? Please. Brooke hurts her sister every time she’s with Bill and she’s hurting herself. Putting them together is a terrible message, saying that cheating on your wife or with your sister’s husband leads to a lifetime of happiness? Bulls#%t!!!. B&B is hanging on a thread as it is, focusing on that evil wench Quinn, and Eric wrapped around her you know what. He’s an idiot for not seeing who she is. I miss Donna, how could she come to town and not speak to Katie, or her Nephew Rick, or Eric? This show for a half hour could do way better than it’s doing and I’d rather see Brooke with Ridge, a new man, or just become the Queen period, but Bill is NOT the answer.
Loving Eric and Quinn! Only reason I watch now. They’re great together! Hope they become a stable happy couple leading the family from now on! Love new Ridge but tired of him and Brooke. She missed the boat when she walked out on Bill!
I have not been able to watch the show in almost 2 years. The repeated storylines in the forced couples are just ridiculous. The only hope I have and the only reason I keep reading the boards is at one point they will re-examine the most exciting couple they ever had on the show. – Bill and Steffy. The chemistry between the two of them was off the charts. Interesting how they have a brief five-minute seen it mostly other day and the boards were lit up like they haven’t been in ages. Suddenly their articles and people devouring a brief moment with a shirtless bill and a sexy Steffy. I remember watching soaps when the love scenes were truly steamy. This pairing has the potential to almost need a rating. One can only hope Bell has enough sense to write for them once again. Their story was one of the best written on BB. With Bill walking away so not to hurt the true love of his life more. She is the only woman on the show he has ever truly loved. It’s why he walked away but why he couldn’t let her go. It’s why she can find no satisfaction in the sons because what she seeks has always been the father. If he is the Alpha and she is the Omega
Hate, the once again, triangle of Quinn, Eric, and Katie !!! Please, let Quinn’s abuse story play out. Give her a close friend , who she can trust, in Katie. Let Quinn’s backstory come to fruition. So tired of the triangle and who’s your daddy story lines. Give our characters some depth !! Give us something new to watch. I can walk away for weeks and they still have the same 2 story lines with different characters. BORING !!!

‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton Shares Reaction to His Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Nomination, ‘It Was to Honor Leslie Charleson’

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations kicked-off on Monday with the announcements of four major categories including, Outstanding Lead Performer in a Daytime Drama Series — Actor, and among the nominees is General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan).
Burton is already a two-time Daytime Emmy winner in the Supporting Actor category for his roles as GH’s Jason and his turn as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R. However, Steve is yet to win in the Lead Actor category and he has received 11 nominations along the way in his daytime career.
Following the reveal that he is a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee, he and his GH co-star, podcast co-host and comedy show partner, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) taped a special edition of their That’s Awesome podcast just featuring Burton’s reaction to the news.

FOR LESLIE CHARLESON
Steve expressed, “I know it’s such a cliche to say, ‘I’m just so honored to be nominated.’ But truly, I’m so grateful to be nominated, so grateful to just be on the show off and on for 30 plus years and to be nominated with the guys in my category. Just to get the opportunity. Frank (Valentini, executive producer, GH) texted me right away. I was just like, ‘Thank you for the opportunity to get to do what I do.'”
Taking in the moment, Burton thanked those who helped him select the material for his nominated reel. “Unless you win, you don’t get to say things. So. I’m going just say a few things: Elizabeth Korte (co-head writer, GH) helped me a lot with the material, (as did) Michelle Henry, who’s a producer on the show, Laura Wright (Carly, GH), and then my wife Michelle (Lundstrom). I believe it was Jill Phelps who told me that when A Martinez felt like he had a great show or great scenes, he would mark it down. So, when Emmy time comes, you have all the show numbers written down, and you don’t have to think about it, because that’s half the battle (finding the material).
Burton explained how meaningful this nomination is for him, because of playing the scenes of Jason losing Monica, and his closeness with the late, great Leslie Charleson.
“The nomination’s an amazing thing, and it’s beautiful, but really it’s to honor Leslie Charleson. A lot of my material was because of her, and how I started on the show as a Quartermaine, it just means a ton,” shared Burton. “Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) has obviously has been instrumental, and I’ve said it from day one and I’ll shout it from the rooftops. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here, and to be working with the people that we work with is incredible.”

SHOULD JOHN OLIVER BE NAMED HOST OF THE DAYTIME EMMYS?
During the end of his conversation with Anderson, Steve suggested that the host of the Daytime Emmy should be Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver, who recently guest starred as the head of the WSB named Z on General Hospital, and is soon to show up on Days of Our Lives in a mystery role in August.
Thus far, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has not revealed their host for the upcoming ceremony to be held on October 30 in a venue to be named in Hollywood, California.
You can watch Steve sharing his reaction to receiving his 2026 Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nomination below on a special segment on the That’s Awesome podcast.
Now let us know, are you glad that Steve chose scenes surrounding Jason mourning the loss of the woman that raised him, Monica Quartermaine for his Emmy reel? What do you think of John Oliver as a suggestion to host the Daytime Emmys? Weigh-in via the comment section below.
