She is a great actress but I’m not liking her singing I mean she is good but I don’t like it maybe its the song!!

I LOVE Jacqueline’s video and song, I watch her as Steffy on B&B and she is such a great actress, Wood has talent by the truckload! Good job!

ummmm..eh?

She really is talented, but the verses just don’t match her. She needs more stuff like the chorus that flatter her voice.

i am not impressed at all with this video…………..sorry

I think Jackie is a GORGEOUS & very talented woman, but I think you song is cheesy. Whatever was behind chosing that song for her music video should be called into the boss’s office for that mess. YIKES!

It’s strange. I kept waiting for her to sing, but she was just speaking. I can’t even call it rapping. So I thought, maybe she doesn’t have a good voice. It did seem like she was singing during the chorus and she sounded okay, so what gives? I’m not buying.

It’s not for me, Michael. Thanks for sharing, though.

I don’t care for her character, Steffy … at all. I tried to be impartial, but I didn’t care for her video either. And what is with the smoking? Isn’t that stuff kind of taboo these days?

Tacky, tacky, shame on Jacqui.

I guess she doesn’t know how to dance since she just leaned on the wall or flopped on the couch. Just looked slutty to me.

Sorry but as Madonna proved Sunday night there is only one Madonna! And this is nothing against the actress but a few acting classes you need before you even attempt this.

She actually looks like a woman in the above photo. Good for you.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood reminds me of Courtney Stodden…is she fearing her voice isn’t good enough? Just in case she has to dress and act shoddy

Good video, its gonna get better and better. Acting is more for her though, she is my favorite on The Bold and Beautiful. Thumbs up for Jacqueline she is determined to try everything to be a successful star..i luv her.

I like her alot, but what the HELL is the smoking all about, You could be cool WITHOUT the SMOKE

Simple , easy song I guess for the 1st time. Very nice look but plz the smoking in the video is cheesy . P.s I liked the fashion in the clip a lot. Good try 1st time.

thank god I dont have to listen but once. this sounds like 2 songs they pasted together an it is just short of awful. Please just keep acting YOUR voice is not bad but this video is BAD.

she is trashy on the show and the video. I think it looked more like a modeling show than a music video. You can see that she thinks she is all that and she is pretty but that is a turn off. I think she should let the music idea go.

Colin Egglesfield Recalls Living Next to Ground Zero During 9/11 in 25th Anniversary Remembrance

Colin Egglesfeld

Colin Egglesfield, who played Josh Madden, the biological son of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) on All My Children from 2005-2009, and who has been recently rumored to have joined the cast of Beyond the Gates, (although unconfirmed by the CBS soap thus far) shared an incredibly touching and powerful message on Friday, September 11 recalling the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

In a harrowing real-life story, Colin revealed via his Instagram, that he had lived right across the street in an apartment building across from the Twin Towers which were under attacked when a plane crashed into the North and then South Tower.

The actor’s post comes as this morning, America is remembering those who we have lost and the tragedy of losing the World Trade Center Twin Towers in New York City.

Egglesfield shared, “24 years ago, I was living at Ground Zero on September 11th, 2001. There are certain moments in life that divide everything into before and after. For me, 9/11 was one of those moments. I will never forget the fear, the confusion, the smoke, or the overwhelming realization of how quickly life can change. But what I remember just as powerfully is the courage.”

9/11 ATTACKS AND THE RESILIENCE OF NEW YORK CITY

Reflecting on the courageous people of New York City on that fateful morning, Colin went on to say, “The firefighters, police officers, paramedics, first responders, volunteers, and everyday people who ran toward danger when every instinct told them to run away. To every first responder who showed up that day, to those who saved lives, to those who lost their lives, and to the families who have carried the weight of that day ever since, thank you. Your bravery, sacrifice, and humanity will never be forgotten.”

As for many people, 9/11 has changed the way we look at life, and how you should live every day as if it’s your last, because of how fragile life truly is.

Colin shared, “September 11th changed the way I look at life. It reminded me that tomorrow is not guaranteed. The phone call you keep meaning to make. The dream you keep putting off. The person you need to tell, “I love you.”The risk you’re afraid to take. The life you keep telling yourself you’ll start living someday. Someday isn’t promised.”

He concluded his 9/11 remembrance with, “So love deeply. Forgive when you can. Tell people what they mean to you. Take the trip. Chase the dream. Be present. Be kind. And have the courage to live the life that is calling you. Today, I remember all those we lost, all those who survived, and all those who ran toward the unimaginable to help someone they had never met. We will never forget. 🇺🇸”

IS COLIN EGGLESFIELD TAPING A ROLE ON BEYOND THE GATES?

Meanwhile, back in July, speculation began circulating when Egglesfield took to Instagram to share a picture from a dressing room. He wrote as the caption, “Can’t say what I’m working on but you’ll find out soon-ish.”

However, that post was since-deleted. Adding more fuel to if Colin has joined Beyond the Gates in a new role was an Instagram Story of him lying on a blue couch. Fans have seen that couch pictured in other snaps emanating from Beyond the Gates’ Assembly Studios in Atlanta.

Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that several of the Beyond the Gates cast were now following Colin on Instagram including the likes of: Jen Jacob (Ashley), Angela Fairley (Deanna) and Maurice P. Kerry (Randy).

Back in an interview in 2025, Colin, who previously battled prostate and testicular cancer, shared he would be open to come back to the soaps, expressing, “I’d definitely be open to that. I think soap opera is incredibly fun because it’s almost like summer camp. You’re all jumping into this world of high drama. I think the storylines are heightened, so it is fun to play these characters and push the boundaries of relationships.”

You can view Colin’s 9/11 remembrances post and his hear-tugging story of living across the way from the Twin Towers below.

So, what are your remembrances of 9/11 as America marks the attacks 25 years ago? What did you think of Colin’s heartfelt words? Do you think he has joined the cast of Beyond the Gates? Let us know via the comment section.

Y&R’s executive producer, Sally McDonald previewed what’s coming up on the top-rated CBS soap opera to TV Insider, and viewers should look for fireworks and more at the upcoming wedding of Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and a very pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who is carrying his child.

He will receive a reality check from Sally, leading them both on planning the wedding of the year. BILLY ABBOTT AT THE EPICENTER OF THE DRAMA

In addition, Daytime Emmy winner, Jason Thompson recently took to his Instagram account and acknowledged any negative reactions to fans of the story, which also has the adjunct arc of Billy going all out to reclaim Chancellor Industries for the Abbotts, and brought with him “good” and “bad” news.

Thompson started with, “I’ve got good news and bad news. I’ll give you the good news first. For people that like Billy, and you want exciting stories on The Young and the Restless, I’m telling you it’s only getting better. So, you’re in for a helluva ride. The bad news is, if you are someone who doesn’t like Billy and don’t want exciting stories to happen, you’re s**t out of luck, because it’s happening anyway. Stay tuned!”

In addition, Sally McDonald also shared that Billy’s sisters, Traci (Beth Maitland) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson), “Will be front and center for Billy and Sally’s wedding. The two sisters will share very different opinions of their little brother’s bride to be.”

Y&R’s Co-Head Writer Jamey Giddens, Ahead of November Stories and Scripts Debut with Dan O’Connor, Explains How Fall Tees Up Their Plans for Genoa City

Published

on

By

Jamey Giddens, The Young and the Restless

As previously reported on Thursday, September 10, Y&R fans should circle November 11th on your calendars. That will mark the official on-screen head writing regime change on The Young and the Restless, when material from newly-planted co-head writers, Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor begins to air on the number one daytime drama series on CBS.

Taking to X, Giddens backed up all mentions of when his run as co-head writer begins with an electronic alarm clock showing the numbers 11:11.  In addition, up until that time, Y&R fans are still watching the story and scripts from Josh Griffith who stepped down a few months ago from his position as head writer after a lengthy run that started back in 2019.

However, Giddens responded to a Y&R viewer on X, who said they won’t tune back into the action in Genoa City until his and O’Connor’s material starts to air. Jamey expressed that if you are fan of the series, you should tune-in now because before Jamey and Dan get to launch their set of new stories and adventures for the citizens of Genoa City, but they first needed to decide what to do with the story they inherited from Josh Griffith.

Jamey teased, “Start watching NOW!” Fall in Genoa City set up tons of juicy stories Dan O’Connor and I are lucky to inherit as we begin telling new ones! Let’s watch as a soap fam! #YR”

Jumping into the thread in response was one fan who said to Giddens, “I’m watching, and some stuff is good while other stuff needs revisions, so hoping the revised improves the stories. My future request: can we get Sharon and Adam sharing scenes again? And please let Sharon interact with people beyond Nick 24/7. Shick can happen but Sharon needs more to do. JT said he was filming a good story, so hopefully he isn’t rinsing and repeating with Billy’s mistake but JT seems excited on what’s to come.”

In pretty short order, Giddens has worked as a breakdown writer for both Days of Our Lives and Beyond the Gates, where he is nominated this year as part of the writing team for both shows, in addition to previously being the head writer of OWN’s Ambitions and writing for Tyler Perry’s Sistas. Jamey started his career with Daytime Confidential as a journalist covering the genre that he knows and loves.

As for Dan O’Connor, he previously held down co-head writer duties at General Hospital or as an Associate Head Writer. He also wrote for One Life to Live and made a stop in Salem and Days of Our Lives.

So, can November 11th come soon enough for you? Will you be tuning-in to Y&R leading up to the takeover by Jamey and Dan on the writing front? Share your thoughts via the comment section below.
