B&B’s Katherine Kelly Lang Celebrates Her New Boutique ‘Benheart’ With Celebrity Opening (Photos)

On Tuesday evening, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Katherine Kelly Lang welcomed many of her daytime drama friends for the grand opening of her new boutique in Beverly Hills, Benheart.  And earlier in the week on Monday, Lang also hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening for her new store

Lang had posted on her social media that the Italian originated band will have its first American store. The boutique sells, leather shoes, belts, bags and jackets.

The store brand has a story behinds its name:  Ben was born in Fes, Morocco, home to the oldest leather tannery in the world and was just a child when he arrived in Scandicci, Italy which is famous for its leather production.  This is where he began to dream of creating his first leather jacket collection.  However, tragedy struck almost ten years ago.  Ben suffered a heart attack while playing soccer and found himself in need of a new heart.  He spent several months at the hospital in Florence, Italy waiting for a new heart.  Finally, a donated heart became available and gave Ben the second chance to go after his lifetime dream: creating his own brand of leather products.

Turning out for the opening of Benheart were Y&R stars past and present including: Sharon Case, Michael Muhney, Mark Grossman, Tamara Clatterbuck, Lauralee Bell, and more.  And from The Bold and the Beautiful, Don Diamont, Annika Noelle, Kim Matula, Obba Babatunde, Ashley Jones, and Jennifer Gareis,

Check out some photos from the event below.  Then share your congrats to Katherine on her new endeavor via the comment section.

Well, did he get a heart. This is a cliffhanger. I’m guessing yes since it looks like he was at the party, but don’t leave us hanging.

Katherine looks great. Congratulations on her endeavor.

The woman is a wonder my goodness can’t even list all the things she has accomplished and now this. Congrats no one deserves it more!

As the World Turns Cast To Perform Virtual Reading Of Final Episode

In a once-in-a soap-lifetime event during the Covid-19 pandemic, the cast of As the World Turns will reunite for one night online for a virtual reading of the CBS daytime drama’s final episode that aired back 10 years ago this past September,

This livestream event is for a good cause and is brought to you by former ATWT cast member, Trent Dawson’s (Ex-Henry) theatre group The Katonah Classic Stage.  Dawson is the artistic director there.

Over 26 veteran cast members from ATWT, including Larry Bryggman, Don Hastings, Kathryn Hays, Elizabeth Hubbard, Michael Park and more are set to participate in the reading plus some surprise guests.

The show will be streamed  n The Locher Room YouTube channel, 0n Wednesday night, October 28th at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST, where fans will also  have the opportunity to comment and ask questions of the cast,

The event is asking for a $15 donation to be able to see it and you can click here for more info!

Working with Katonah Classic Stage (KCS), a professional, nonprofit theatre group an hour north from New York City, Dawson is hoping this event will help those in need.  KCS has access to outdoor performance space that can provide a safer, more  socially-distant experience for the artists and the audience. The fundraiser not only  applies to salaries, but to health care as well; without employment most artists are ineligible for health coverage during a time when such insurance is critically important.

So what do you think of getting these beloved stars from ATWT together for a good cause to relive and read the script of the final episode from Oakdale? Comment below.

UPDATED:  According to Deadline  the cast and crew of NBC’s Days of our Lives will actually be returning tomorrow, October 20th to begin taping ahead of schedule after a positive Covid-19 test shut production down originally scheduled for two weeks.
