Unfortunately, I could not even touch that bid. It will go sky high.

No ‘guarantee that the walk on scene won’t be cut’? Really? That’s not very nice, considering someone is going to give a lot of money to charity while also paying their own travel expenses.

What the hell is going on? We now have it in schools that we can’t call them boys & girls! God have mercy on our souls.

I attended a school function and addressed my 17 yr olds class as boys and girls…no one complained, banned me from school and no police were called in…lol…who thought up that anyway…you can say a dirty word but cant say ‘boys and girls’ is the most absurd thing ive ever heard…i could understand if it were ‘ladies and gentlemen’ because there are so few of them these days but banning ‘boys and girls’ is absolutely crazy!!!

ohhh goodie!!
I want to walk on, right on to Morgans lap!!! 😉

That’s a lot of pennies! No sense in counting the pennies in a piggy bank. A person would need a passel of pigs to have that many cents!!!

Are you listening, su0000? LOL! ☺

4ever DAYS,
I know money has to ruin it ..
but– let me dream..
(me sitting on Morgan’s lap.. ahhhh yes!!

The winner receives a nonspeaking walk on role, but there’s no guarantee to be seen in the final cut of the episode…It’s OK if the winner is a deaf mute as long as he or she is not ugly!

Now, that’s FUNNY…LOLLOLLOLLOL, 4ever…..

And only one winnner…I guess if a person is a conjoined twin, there’s no sense in bidding…that could be a reason the person is not guaranteed to be seen.

haha 4ever…cojoined would probably be GUARANTEED a walk-on…and offered a role playing Sonny’s next conquest!

Disney/ABC…a multi-media organization with millions of dollars and high paid execs…are luring fans to bid with money that most don’t have…or shouldn’t be throwing out…for the privilege of a non-speaking walk-on with “no guarantee that the participant’s scene will be in featured in the final cut of the episode.”

Wow! What a deal! Now THAT’S funny!

Great cause. Lousy prize.

I must add that I do not mean that the cause is ridiculous….just the MEANS. They could have thought of a less expensive way….not even guaranteed…what the______ !!!

I have LOVED GH my whole life. I would bid, but when I read -There is no guarantee that the participant’s scene will be in featured in the final cut of the episode – I will pass. As a youngster I dreamed of being an actress and working on this show. But if it would never be featured – then why would I spend so much money? So what they really want is your hard earned money. Also a NON SPEAKING ROLE? Come on GH… be better to your fans than this! What a way to crash a dream……

I see it as also being with your favorite stars..
Whomever wins will get be backstage/around the stars, also..
It would be a great memorable time, without a doubt..
And its for a good cause ” to help raise money to keep kids safe from harm in a tolerant learning environment”..
Whomever Wins will have a great time regardless if the walk in would not be shown, but then again it most likely will be shown..

su0000…That good cause could be funded solely by ABC 100 times over. Why not do the right thing and just run a contest where the winner gets to do all the things you described…for free! After all, these actors have jobs (and ABC makes money) because we watch their shows or follow them to others…

I would LOVE to win this I have been watching the show since it came on! and thats been a long time since I am only 2 yrs older than the show!!

Don’t blame GH -Blame Disney- I’m sure they are the ones sponsoring this. I agree with Rebecca 1!! They have millions!

WOW : cut me off at the quick

must be over 18 non speaking part… no guarantee …

TRAVEL and ACCOMODATIONS not included

that’s how I feel any way

wow : altruistic la la land feature

on GH

had to peruse the cast

and danged if I can’t help it

Nicholas sparks longer

I leave these married men alone

Morgan, Patrick, and Dante

Billy Miller : Roger Howarth : jeffrey vincent parise

woah…. OK … i’m in

i’ll drop Wally Kurth

and these guys are stand alone… a show unto themselves

Ned… Franco… Carlos… Morgan

GH production : take heed

Welcome, Patrick !!

IMO, this reminds me of that moment in PEANUTS when Lucy (on purpose) removes that football as poor Charlie Brown is about to kick it and all of a sudden…SPLAT!!!!! Bottom Line Here: IMO, it seems to me that Disney is getting someone’s hopes up and then…SPLAT!!!!! If that’s the case, then that’s NOT COOL AT ALL!!!!!! Period.

First that lucky someone gets to pay a whole lotta money for the privilege of going splat! hahhha…so sad… 😉

This week on all-new episodes of General Hospital, new and old motivations come into play with dangerous consequences. According to the just released GH video spoilers video for the week of August 3-7, a bailiff calls out, “All rise!”

Now it’s Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) vs. Curtis (Donnell Turner), as the surgeon is suing the owner of the Savoy for assault that ruined is ability to operate. At the end of the day, which of these men has enough evidence against the other? Portia (Brook Kerr) is by Isaiah’s side, while Jordan (Tanisha Harper) is with Curtis.

Next, Lucy (Lynn Herring) has a plan to get the controlling shares of Deception away from Michael (Rory Gibson). She wants her daughter, Serena (Kelly Kruger) to seduce Michael. She tells her, “Pick out your most seductive suit.” Soon, we see Serena in her bathing suit at the Metro Court face to face with Michael.

Later, there is a small baggie containing three blue pills. Nina (Cynthia Watros) ask Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), “What did you do?” We also see Michael asking the same thing of Jacinda (Paige Herschell). Leading into this week, viewers know that Willow doesn’t want the former escort anywhere near her children, Amelia and Wiley. Is this how she stops her, or is Jacinda up to old tricks and wants to frame Willow? Remember when Jacindsa drugged Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Stay tuned.

Finally, in the pick-up from last Friday’s cliffhanger, an emotional Jason (Steve Burton) continues to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard) that he cannot work for him anymore. Sonny ask, “So that’s it? You’re Out?” We fade to black.

Take a look at the official GH spoilers for the week below.

MONDAY, AUGUST 3

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4
Brook Lynn and Chase celebrate a milestone. Trina gets an earful. Carly’s plan backfires. Curtis is skeptical. Michael is anxious about his family’s’ future.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7

Vincent Pastore, best known for his memorable role as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos has passed away.

The veteran actor was found dead on August 1st in his home in the Bronx, New York. Pastore was 80-years-old. The cause of death is yet to be determined.

As well as his role on The Sopranos, many soap fans will recall he played multiple smaller roles on the beloved One Life to Live from 1995 and 2004. However, in 2008, he landed the short-term role as Maximus Giambetti on General Hospital.

PASTORE WANTED TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL

Maximus was the mobster father of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) bodyguards: Max (Derk Cheetwood) and Milo (Drew Cheetwood)

According to Soap Opera Digest, Pastore told Soaps In Depth back in 2009, after appearing in a SOAPnet promotional campaign as a celebrity fan of General Hospital: “‘I’d love to be on the show. So they called up GH’s casting director (Mark Teschner) and Bobby (Robert Guza Jr. ex-head writer, GH) and they wrote me in!”

Pastore was a huge General Hospital fan from way back, who at one point told producers that he would watch the ABC soap opera while working in bars and nightclubs in the 70s and 80s.

Throughout his decades long career, Pastore appeared in films including: Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way and Men of Respect, The Jerky Boys: The Movie and the 1996 HBO TV movie Gotti.

In TV, besides The Sopranos, Pastore’s credits included: Law & Order, The Practice, Son of the Beach, Queens Supreme, Hawaii Five-0, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, plus the miniseries The Last Don II. Most recently, Vincent was a series regular on Gravesend and guest starred on Yellowjackets.

Pastore is survived by his daughter, Renee, son-in-law and granddaughter.
